Liberal Jerk Tells WWII Veterans “F*** You” – Then Shoves Veteran’s Wife (Video)

A lib protester told two elderly veterans “f*** you” and then shoved a veteran’s wife at Allen West’s town hall on Monday.

A liberal groupie feigned offense over Allen West remarking that his liberal groupies were at his town hall again. Two older veterans called her out on it and she proceeded to tell one of them “f— you!”, at which point the veterans’ wife stepped in to defend her husband. The liberal groupie then slightly shoved the wife who promptly shoved right back and threatened to wrap her cane around the liberal groupie’s neck.

Wild Thing's comment..........

What a vile horrible person!!!

Good for the Veteran's wife and how she responded to this POS.

“Fox & Friends” Video of Four Years of Obama’s “Hope and Change” vs. Reality – Video

“Fox & Friends” this morning, put together by an associate producer. The video is a compilation of Barack Obama’s four years of claiming he will bring “Hope and Change.” It compares at multiple points Obama’s promise of “change” to the reality of his disastrous policies.

Obama Angers Poles and Polish-Americans by Referring to a “Nazi Death Camp” as a “Polish Death Camp” During Medal Ceremony

Obama Angers Poles and Polish-Americans by Referring to a “Nazi Death Camp” as a “Polish Death Camp” During Medal Ceremony

Obama at a Medal Ceremony today trying to honor a Polish War Hero who escaped from a “Nazi Death Camp” in Poland during the World War II years. Instead, Obama called it a “Polish Death Camp” – something the people of Poland don’t think very highly of. They are demanding an apology:

ABC news

Poles and Polish-Americans expressed outrage today at President Obama’s reference earlier to “a Polish death camp” — as opposed to a Nazi death camp in German-occupied Poland.

“The White House will apologize for this outrageous error,” Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski tweeted. Sikorski said that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk “will make a statement in the morning. It’s a pity that this important ceremony was upstaged by ignorance and incompetence.”

The president had been trying to honor a famous Pole, awarding a Presidential Medal of Freedom to Jan Karski, a resistance fighter who sneaked behind enemy lines to bear witness to the atrocities being committed against Jews. President Obama referred to him being smuggled “into the Warsaw ghetto and a Polish death camp to see for himself.”

Sikorski also tonight tweeted a link to an Economist story noting that “few things annoy Poles more than being blamed for the crimes committed by the Nazi occupiers of their homeland. For many years, Polish media, diplomats and politicians have tried to persuade outsiders to stop using the phrase ‘Polish death camps’ as a shorthand description of Auschwitz and other exemplars of Nazi brutality and mass murder. Unfortunately this seems to have escaped BaracK Obama’s staff seem not to have noticed this.”

Romney Wins Texas and Clinches Republican Presidential Nomination ~ Congratulations!!!!

The former Massachusetts governor, the only candidate who actively campaigned in Texas, won 71 per cent of the vote, according to Fox News, CNN and NBC television.

US congressman from Texas Ron Paul won 10 per cent in his home state, Catholic conservative Rick Santorum seven per cent and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich five per cent, according to CNN.

In Texas 155 delegates were at stake -- which added to Romney's tally of 1,064 should take him well over the 1,144 nomination threshold.

Wild Thing's comment.........

Congratulations to Mitt and Ann Romney. I pray this will all get Obama OUT!!! God bless the Romney family and protect them from the Obama thug machine.

LTC Rep. Allen West is Fantastic!!!

The progressives who attended Congressman Allen West’s town hall meeting managed to drop some choice questions on the good Congressman. One of the questions was about an alleged Article 15 hearing that he supposedly received in the Army- never mind the fact that West never received an Article 15 hearing before leaving the Army- West left the military with full honors and his pension.

West took a bit of an issue with the question, and posed one of his own to his detractors-

“If you guys want to go back and talk about what happened nine years ago to me, lets talk about the President doing blow.”

Wild Thing's comment..........

Give this man an award!!!!!!!! God bless Allen West . I love his comeback to the jerk in the audience.

Trump Blasts Wolf Blitzer – Takes Shot at CNN’s Ratings As Well

Donald Trump took a swipe at CNN’s ratings following an intense exchange with Wolf Blitzer.

Donald Trump immediately attacked Wolf after his very biased introduction.

Trump to Blitzer: "Report Obama Birth Accurately and CNN Might Get Better Ratings"

Donald Trump took a shot at CNN’s low ratings during a fiery exchange with Wolf Blitzer this afternoon, in which the two men called one another “ridiculous.”

During a phone interview from Las Vegas, Trump defended his ongoing claims that Obama may not have been born in the United States, a charge that Mitt Romney has sought to distance himself from even as he courts Trump’s support.

“Many people do not think [his birth certificate] was authentic,” Trump said. “Frankly, if you would report it accurately, you would probably get better ratings than you’re getting.”

Later in the segment, Trump accused Blitzer and CNN of covering the birtherism charge “because you feel its probably going to get a few more people watching your station, which they’re probably not doing.”

CNN has indeed been struggling in the cable news ratings race — and rather publicly of late. Earlier this month, the network experienced its lowest weekday primetime ratings in 20 years, averaging just 395,000 viewers for Anderson Cooper’s “AC360” and “Piers Morgan Tonight.”

Fox News averaged 2,049,000 viewers and MSNBC averaged 783,000 viewers during that same period.

.

Wild Thing's comment........

heh heh ha ha ho ho...good for Trump. CNN and all the media deserve to be brought down many notches, with the way they lied and hide information and protected Obama and helped him win the election in 2008.

Even With Teleprompter Obama Twice In Two Days Says " My two sons"

Obama Twice Mistakenly Mentions ‘My Sons,' While Defending Contraception Mandate

CNSNews

In two campaign speeches over the last two days, President Barack Obama has twice mistakenly mentioned “my sons” when defending his administration’s regulation requiring virtually all health-care plans in the United States to provide women, without any fees or co-pay, with sterilizations and all Food and Drug Administration-approved contraceptives, including those that can cause abortions.

Obama, of course, has two daughters — 10-year-old Sasha and 13-year-old Malia — but no sons.

On Monday, 43 Catholic dioceses and organizations across the country — including the archdioceses of New York and Washington, D.C. and the University of Notre Dame and Catholic University of America — filed 12 different lawsuits against the Obama administration arguing that because the sterilization-contraception-abortifacient mandate would force Catholics to act against the teachings of their faith it violates the First Amendment right to freedom of religion. [...]

Both the transcript of the Iowa speech distributed by the White House and a video of it posted by the Des Moines Register indicated that Obama mistakenly said “my sons.”

The video of the speech posted by the Des Moines Register also shows that despite his slip about “my sons,” the president was speaking with the help of a teleprompter.

On Wednesday at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City, Calif., Obama made the same mistaken reference to “my sons.”

Rep Peter King: Obama Admin Disclosed Pakistan Doctor’s Identity

GOP Rep. King says Obama officials disclosed identity of jailed Pakistani doctor

FOX news

GOP Rep. Peter King, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, expressed concern Wednesday about the extent of the Obama administration’s efforts to protect the Pakistan doctor who was sent to prison in Pakistan for treason after helping to find Usama bin Laden.

"This has been handled very poorly right from the time of the raid," King told FoxNews.com.

Dr. Shakil Afridi ran a vaccination program for the CIA to collect DNA and verify bin Laden's presence at the compound in the town of Abbottabad where U.S. commandos killed the Al Qaeda chief in a May 2011 raid.

The operation outraged Pakistani officials, who portrayed it as an act of treachery by a supposed ally.

King, R-N.Y., said administration officials talked about the doctor and his DNA sampling.

"They put him out there," said King, who made clear he didn't know the exact details about what, if anything, the administration may have done to get the doctor out of Pakistan or otherwise protect him. "I'm focused on that they disclosed his identity."

A senior administration official on Thursday disputed the argument.

“If you go back to the first stories about the doctor’s alleged affiliation with the U.S., it was clear Pakistani authorities leaked it to the press,” the official said. “The Pakistanis found Dr. Afridi on their own There was no attempt to disclose this individual’s name or association with the operation. That defies logic. Identities of human sources are sacrosanct in the intelligence community.”

The official also said there were efforts to protect Dr. Afridi both before and after his arrest, but this official did not have an explanation as to why they weren’t able to successfully protect him or remove him from the country before he was arrested.

The doctor was sentenced to 33 years in prison on Wednesday for conspiring against the state -- a verdict officials said is likely to further strain the country's relationship with Washington.

Wild Thing's comment.......

They used him, then abused him. They care for nothing except exerting power to obtain what they want.

Former GE CEO: Romney More Qualified to be President Than Someone Who Handed Out Leaflets as a Community Organizer

Former GE CEO: Romney More Qualified to be President Than Someone Who Handed Out Leaflets as a Community Organizer

The Blaze

Former General Electric CEO Jack Welch appeared on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” to discuss the economy and the race between President Barack Obama and the presumed Republican presidential nominee, Mitt Romney.

Morgan challenged Romney’s claim that, by virtue of the fact that he worked in private equity, he created jobs.

“That’s not why any private equity company buys a company,” Morgan said, “They don’t buy it to create jobs. They buy it to turn it around and make a profit.”

“I agree with that,” Welch immediately.

“So is [Romney] wrong to say ‘it’s about job creation?’” Morgan asked.

Welch conceded that the former Massachusetts governor’s current “job creator” argument may not be the correct one, but he also pointed out that Romney is not wrong when he says private equity helps create good, durable, and well-paying jobs.

“You don’t create scads of jobs, but you do create good paying jobs in a continuing industry,” Welch said.

Morgan moved on and asked Welch whether he thinks the discussion over who’s more qualified to create jobs will be the thing that decides the election.

“If it is, Romney oughta’ wipe it out,” Welch said, “When you look at those things I gave you for the qualifications, compare it to someone who was handing out leaflets as a community organizer, the global experience of doing all this — Piers! It’s not even close!”

And in regards to who’s better suited to handle the economy, Morgan asked Welch if he could think of anything President Obama should be credited for.

“What do you give him credit for in terms of the economy?” Morgan asked.

Welch’s answer, though non-verbal, speaks volumes

Obama’s War on Capitalism Statements – Audio from 2008 to present day

Obama’s War on Capitalism Statements – Audio

Rush played a montage of President Barack Obama’s statements over the years against Capitalism....from September of 2008 all the way through the present day.

OBAMA (montage): I did not run for office to be helping out a bunch of fat cat bankers on Wall Street. You can't get corporate jets. You can't go take a trip to Las Vegas. I do think at a certain point you've made enough money. If somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It will bankrupt them. The insurance industry is making this last-ditch effort to stop reform even as costs continue to rise and our health care dollars continue to be poured into their profits. Cost-cutting has become embedded in their operations and in their culture. That may result in good profits, but it's not translating into hiring. Speculators can reap millions while millions of American families get the short end of the stick. If that same diabetic ends up getting their foot amputated, that's 30,000, 40, $50,000 immediately the surgeon is reimbursed. The market will take care of everything. Here's the problem. It doesn't work. It has never worked. White folks' greed runs a world in need. In this country, broad-based prosperity has never trickled down from the success of a wealthy few.

RUSH: Capitalism doesn't work. America doesn't work; it has never worked. (interruption) Why play it again? There's so much in there? Okay, we'll play it again. Snerdley wants to hear it again. Here it is again. It's about 58 seconds. It's about a minute. And this is a series of statements from Obama which individually and cumulatively all add up to a guy who is unquestioningly anti-capitalist, and now he's running for reelection on that basis, running against capitalism. Now, the stuff at the end of is the most pointed and direct, but every one of these little excerpts has an anti-capitalist hatred, dislike, resentment, foundation, whatever you want to call it.

RUSH: Here's Obama. This is last night in Denver. He's at a campaign event. The news stories about this, by the way, are not good. He was overwrought. Tired. It had been a long day. By the time Obama took the stage in Denver it was 1:15 a.m. Eastern time. In fact, he went someplace to do a campaign appearance, and they preceded his appearance with a 17-minute video, and the video ended and that was the cue for Obama to hit the stage to roaring applause. Problem is, 150 people short of capacity showed up. They scheduled this appearance someplace with a capacity of 700 people, 550 is all that were there. They didn't even fill up a 700-seat venue, and then the video ended and Obama didn't show.

So the crowd had to get into it and start trying to keep each other upbeat, positive, and so forth. He finally shows up, and then they said his speech was very flat, it was essentially the same speech he had given earlier in the day somewhere. And his excuse? He was so tired, got up so early, Air Force Academy graduation, commencement, three fundraisers. How many times have I gotten back from something at three o'clock in the morning and I've shown up here, and I've not used fatigue as an excuse. Only as a warning. But not as an excuse. Anyway, here's Obama, last night in Denver, campaign event, saying that the election's gonna be close because of foolishness.

OBAMA: I don't know how they've been bamboozling folks into thinking that they are the responsible, fiscally disciplined party. They run up these wild debts. And then when we take over we gotta clean it up. This election will be closer than the last one. People don't remember, the last election was close. We're gonna have to contend with even more negative ads, even more cynicism and nastiness and just plain foolishness.

Colin Powell Trashes Romney’s Foreign Policy Advisers As Being Too Right-Wing…

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell on Wednesday questioned Mitt Romney’s choice in foreign policy advisers, saying that some are so right-wing that the advice they give deserves “second thought.”

“I don’t know who all of his advisers are, but I’ve seen some of the names and some of them are quite far to the right. And sometimes they might be in a position to make judgments or recommendations to the candidate that should get a second thought,” Powell said during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

He gave the example of Romney recently saying that Russia is the “number one geopolitical foe” to the United States.

“Come on Mitt, think,” Powell said. “That isn’t the case.”

Romney’s team of about 40 foreign policy advisers includes many who hail from the neoconservative wing of the party, according to a May analysis conducted by the The Nation. Many were enthusiastic supporters of the Iraq War, and many are proponents of a U.S. or Israeli attack on Iran.

.

Wild Thing's comment.........

Powell is an idiot and I would love to tell him that to his face. He thinks he can walk about with a Republican hat on and vote for Obama and then go on talk shows and bash Republicans. Powell is a Socialist.

Romney has John Bolton on his team and Bolton is respected more then Powell will ever be.

Powell has been a phony all the way back to the Vietnam War. He is a political opportunist .

MEDAL of HONOR RECIPIENT "BUD" DAY On Real Torture vs. Waterboarding

MEDAL of HONOR RECIPIENT "BUD" DAY On Real Torture vs. Waterboarding

source

I got shot down over North Vietnam in 1967, a Squadron Commander. After I returned in 1973 . . . I published 2 books that dealt a lot with "real torture" in Hanoi. Our make-believe president is branding our country as a bunch of torturers when he has no idea what torture is.

As for me, I was put thru a mock execution because I would not respond . . . pistol whipped on the head . . . same event. Couple of days later . . . hung by my feet all day. I escaped and a couple of weeks later, I got shot and recaptured. Shot was OK . . . what happened afterwards was not.

They marched me to Vinh . . . put me in the rope trick . . . almost pulled my arms out of the sockets. Beat me on the head with a little wooden rod until my eyes were swelled shut, and my unshot, unbroken hand a pulp.

Next day hung me by the arms . . . rebroke my right wrist . . . wiped out the nerves in my arms that control the hands . . . rolled my fingers up into a ball. Only left the slightest movement of my L forefinger. So I started answering with some incredible lies.

Sent me to Hanoi strapped to a barrel of gas in the back of a truck.

Hanoi . . . on my knees . . . rope trick again. Beaten by a big fool.

Into leg irons on a bed in Heartbreak Hotel.

Much kneeling - hands up at Zoo.

Really bad beating for refusing to condemn Lyndon Johnson.

Several more kneeling events. I could see my knee bone thru kneeling holes.

There was an escape from the annex to the Zoo. I was the Senior officer of a large building because of escape . . . they started a mass torture of all commanders.

I think it was July 7, 1969 . . . they started beating me with a car fan belt. In first 2 days I took over 300 strokes . . . then stopped counting because I never thought I would live thru it.

They continued day-night torture to get me to confess to a non-existent part in the escape. This went on for at least 3 days. On my knees . . . fan belting . . . cut open my scrotum with fan belt stroke. Opened up both knee holes again. My fanny looked like hamburger. I could not lie on my back.

They tortured me into admitting that I was in on the escape . . . and that my 2 room-mates knew about it.

The next day I denied the lie.

They commenced torturing me again with 3- 6- or 9 strokes of the fan belt every day from about July 11 or 12th . . . to 14 October 1969. I continued to refuse to lie about my roommates again.

Now, the point of this is that our make-believe president has declared to the world that we (U.S.) are a bunch of torturers . . . thus it will be OK to torture us next time when they catch us . . . because that is what the U.S. does.

Our make-believe president is a know nothing fool who thinks that pouring a little water on some one's face, or hanging a pair of women's pants over an Arabs head is TORTURE. He is a meathead.

I just talked to MOH holder Leo Thorsness, who was also in my squadron, in jail . . . as was John McCain . . . and we agree that McCain does not speak for the POW group when he claims that Al Gharib was torture . . . or that "water boarding" is torture.

Our president and those fools around him who keep bad mouthing our great country are a disgrace to the United States. Please pass this info on . . . free to use it to point out the stupidity of the claims that water boarding . . . which has no after effect . . . is torture.

If it got the Arab to cough up the story about how he planned the attack on the twin towers in NYC . . . Hurrah for the guy who poured the water!!

George Everett " Bud " Day(born February 24, 1925) is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and Command Pilot who served during the Vietnam War. He is often cited as being the most decorated U.S. service member since General Douglas MacArthur, having received some seventy decorations, a majority for actions in combat. Day is a recipient of the Medal of Honor.

Obama Bashes Bush To Air Force Cadets

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- President Obama told Air Force Academy cadets Wednesday America was stronger and more respected around the world than ever before despite impending cuts to the nation's armed forces. The president delivered the commencement address to over 1,000 graduates at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. "Around the world there is a new feeling about America," he told cadets. "There is a new confidence in our leadership.

"Today I think we can say with pride that America is stronger and safer and more respected in the world," Obama added. He noted the class of 2012 would be the first to "graduate into a world where no Americans are fighting in Iraq and where Usama bin Laden is no longer a threat to our country."

OMG....Obama Bundler’s Husband Awarded Over $1 Billion in DOE Guaranteed Loans

The husband of one of Barack Obama’s top bundlers has received $1.2 billion in federal loan guarantees from the Obama Administration.

The Free Beacon

New disclosures show that one of President Obama’s bundlers is the wife of an executive at an energy company that received a more-than-$1.2 billion Department of Energy (DOE) loan guarantee for a solar power plant.

Arvia Few is a bundler for the Obama re-election campaign who has promised to raise between $50,000 and $100,000. She began bundling for Obama in the first quarter of 2012. Her husband, Jason Few, is an executive at a company that has benefited handsomely from the Obama administration’s clean energy spending, records show.

The U.S. Department of Energy granted NRG Solar a $1.237-billion loan in September 2011 to help build NRG’s California Valley Solar Ranch, which is described as “a 250 MW alternating current PV solar generating facility” by the U.S. Department of Energy.

Few became senior vice president of Houston-based Reliant Energy in 2008. He was named President of Reliant in May 2009 when NRG Energy acquired Reliant for $287.5 million. He currently serves as executive vice president and chief customer officer of NRG Energy.

“This investment and its outcome represent a pattern in which the Obama Department of Energy took promises of technological development with an undue amount of credence,” says energy expert Kenneth P. Green, a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute.

Kentucky Democrat presidential candidate John Wolfe, Jr Gets 42 Percent Votes Last Night

Democrat presidential candidate John Wolfe, Jr. spoke with a citizen journalist recently on his campaign strategy to defeat fellow Democrat Barack Obama.

In Kentucky, 42 percent of Democrats pick ‘uncommitted’ instead of Obama. “The results come on the heels of West Virginia’s Democratic primary earlier this month where a felon incarcerated in Texas took 41 percent of the vote from the president.”

(10:30 CST) With 99,000 votes counted, Newbie Wolfe has 39% of vote. Obama has 60%.

Dem Sen. Mark Warner Defends Bain Capital From Obama Attacks…

MSNBC, former venture capitalist Sen. Mark Warner D-Va. admitted that Bain Capital was “very successful” and “did what they were supposed to do.”

When asked about whether attacks on private equity were fair, Warner said that he was “proud” of his previous career in the private sector but noted that public service required a “different skill set.”

Wild Thing's comment......

I would think that business men and women on either side of the isle would be getting ticked at Obama for his attacks on capitolism. I guess it depends if they put their political party ahdead of common sense. These attacks on Bain are outrageous. I did not like it when Republican candidates were doing it too. More companies were helped then not helped.

Good Grief! Joe Biden Blames Tea Party for Obama’s Failed Record (Video)

Joe Biden admitted to a group of supporters in New Hampshire this afternoon that the President would have been able help the economy “much, more” if the Tea Party hadn’t taken the House.

Biden showed the audience the Obama campaigns chart of job growth during the President’s first term in office and accused the Tea Party for stalling the recovery, because of the debt limit fight.

“Imagine where we’d be if the Tea Party hadn’t taken control of the House of Representatives,” Biden said adding that they were “a group set on obstructionism.”

“They have one overwhelming goal: prevent President Obama from a second term, with no – apparently no care of the consequences to the economy,” he said. Biden insisted that the president persevered in spite of their obstruction and demonstrated “important progress” that could be measured.

Wild Thing's comment...........

Hey Joe....BOO!

We are sick of your lies and Obama''s lies. This has been destructikon by Obama and no other president and no Tea Party is at fault.

Krauthammer On Drones Flying In US: "Stop It Here, Stop It Now"

"I'm going to go hard left on you here, I'm going ACLU," syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer said in opposition to the use of drones on the U.S. homeland. "I don't want regulations, I don't want restrictions, I want a ban on this. Drones are instruments of war. The Founders had a great aversion to any instruments of war, the use of the military inside even the United States. It didn't like standing armies, it has all kinds of statutes of using the army in the country."

"A drone is a high-tech version of an old army and a musket. It ought to be used in Somalia to hunt bad guys but not in America. I don't want to see it hovering over anybody's home. Yes, you can say we have satellites, we've got Google Street View and London has a camera on every street corner but that's not an excuse to cave in on everything else and accept a society where you're always under -- being watched by the government. This is not what we want," Krauthammer said on the panel portion of FOX News' "Special Report."

"I would say that you ban it under all circumstances and I would predict, I'm not encouraging, but I an predicting that the first guy who uses a Second Amendment weapon to bring a drone down that's been hovering over his house is going to be a folk hero in this country," Krauthammer said tonight.

"I would say the price of liberty. You can hear a helicopter, you can't hear a drone. You know, if you hear a helicopter you hide under a bush. Well, you can't with this which is why it's effective in Pakistan and elsewhere. It's deft and it's silent. I don't think we want a society where if there are the objects, hovering over streaming, real-time information about you, your family, your car, your location," Krauthammer said later in the segment.

"It's not worth it," he said.

"The Founders we're deeply opposed to the militarization of civil society. There is all kinds of aversions to it and this is importing it because, as you say, it's cheap, it's easy, it's silent. It's something that you can easily deploy. It's going to be, I think the bane of our existence. Stop it here, stop it now," Krauthammer said at the end of the panel segment. "Strong letter to follow."

Obama Attacks With Lies, Romney Ad Responds and the Left Goes Nuts at Their Own ( videos )

First we have a quick response from the Romney camp as it fires back at Obama for his attacks about Bain.

New Romney Ad Destroys Obama’s Attack on “Free Enterprise” using Words of Democrat Mayor Cory Booker & Others

Wow! What a great ad. The perfect response to Obama’s continuing attack on Mitt Romney’s job-creating work at Bain Capital. The Romney Campaign is turning the attack back on Obama as an attack on “Free Enterprise.”

And who is the star of this new Romney ad? None other than Democrat Mayor Cory Booker, who yesterday blasted the Obama attack on Bain (before he walked it back last night in what is being called the “hostage video.”)

.

Next we have a response by Chris Matthews ticked and see why............

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews absolutely beside himself over Democrat Mayor Cory Booker’s crticism of Barack Obama for attacking Mitt Romney’s work in the private sector at Bain Capital.

Matthews is outraged that an Obama Surrogate would go on Meet the Press and “trashing the message of the Obama Campaign.” With Matthews, no matter that Booker told the truth. All that matters is that The One’s attack designed to cover-up his own miserable failure of a record as President be supported at all costs.

Rep. Paul Ryan To Obama Economic Adviser Austan Goolsbee on FOX News

Austan Goolsbee: This was a case where they (Bain) cancelled the pensions they drove the company into the ground. But the investors from Bain actually profited a great deal.

Chris Wallace (host): Let me follow up with Congressman Ryan because the Obama campaign says the point of Romney economics is to make money for Bain, to make money for their investors, even if all the workers get wiped out. And, in this particular case, in the steel mill in Kansas City the workers, that plant went bankrupt. 750 workers were laid off and Bain did make millions of dollars in profits.

Paul Ryan: You know what’s ironic about this, Chris? Mitt Romney was running the Olympics during this time. (Zing) He wasn’t even running Bain during the time period in question. (Zing) I think the individual, if I’m not mistaken who was running Bain is a big Obama contributor. (Zing) But, more to the point Chris. What Bain did was they used “private” capital to help struggling businesses. What President Obama is doing, is he’s gambling with taxpayer money (Zing) and giving money to corporate contributors, campaign contributors like Solyndra (Zing) and he’s losing taxpayer money. (Zing) So what we have in the Obama administration is this crony capitalism (Zing) this corporate welfare (Zing) where President Obama thinks it’s right to take taxpayer dollars to give to private companies and take bets on these private companies. (Zing) That’s wrong. What is right is a private sector where you have risk to capital. You put capital in businesses where they’re struggling or not to try to grow those businesses. Some succeed. Some don’t. On the net when Mitt Romney ran Bain they were very successful. They created thousands of jobs. (Zing) Great success stories. (Zing) But more to the point. We don’t think that government should be in the position of picking winners and losers in the economy which is the result of the president’s economics. ( K-POW!!!)

Lockerbie Bomber Megrahi Dies in Libya (Video) GOOD!

The former Libyan intelligence officer convicted of the 1988 bombing of a Pan Am flight over Lockerbie, Scotland that killed 270 people has died, his brother said on Sunday.

Abdel Basset al-Megrahi, released from a Scottish prison in 2009 and returned to Libya because he was suffering from terminal cancer, had been in and out of hospital for weeks and was taken for an emergency blood transfusion in April.

Megrahi’s health had deteriorated quickly overnight, his brother Abdulhakim told Reuters. “He was surrounded by his family and died in his house,” he said. He was 60.

“He was too sick to utter anything on his deathbed,” Abdulhakim said. “We want people to know he was innocent.”

Megrahi was found guilty in 2001 of bombing Pan Am flight 103 as it flew to New York from London on December 21, 1988. All 259 people aboard the aircraft were killed and 11 people in the Scottish town of Lockerbie died from falling wreckage.

SICKO High School Teacher Goes Ballistic on Student Who Asked the Wrong Question About Obama

Spencer

After reviewing a video in which a North Rowan High School teacher tells a student he can be arrested for speaking ill of President Barack Obama, the Rowan-Salisbury School System said it can be a learning experience.

Meanwhile, an expert on politics at Catawba College says the social studies teacher just doesn’t have her facts straight when she insists speaking your mind about a president can get you charged with a criminal offense.

Although two students provided the name of the teacher, the Post is not publishing it because officials within the school system would not confirm her identity and she could not be reached for comment.

The video captures audio of the dispute but does not show the teacher or anyone else. It appears to have been shot with a phone or other device as the camera pointed at the ceiling the entire time.

Rowan-Salisbury spokeswoman Rita Foil confirmed the teacher is still employed with the district and has not been suspended for disciplinary reasons. Foil emailed this statement to a Post reporter Friday on behalf of the school system:

“The Rowan-Salisbury School System expects all students and employees to be respectful in the school environment and for all teachers to maintain their professionalism in the classroom. This incident should serve as an education for all teachers to stop and reflect on their interaction with students.

“Due to personnel and student confidentiality, we cannot discuss the matter publicly.”

Obama Joins With French Socialist Leader at G8 – Urges More European Stimulus Spending

Barack Obama joined with the socialist president of France to urge bankrupt European nations to spend more money they don’t have.

Reuters

U.S. President Barack Obama will press European leaders to ease up on fiscal austerity and focus on economic growth at a summit on Saturday that will discuss ways to stem turmoil in the euro zone and head off the risk of global contagion.

At the wooded Camp David retreat in Maryland’s Catoctin Mountains, Obama and leaders from other large economic powers will try to forge a common approach to tackling a crisis that threatens the future of Europe (Chicago Options: ^REURUSD – news) ‘s 17-nation single currency.

Though no major policy decisions are expected from the Group of Eight summit, leaders hope they can bridge enough of their differences to soothe rattled financial markets after worries about the risk of a Greek exit from the euro zone sent European stock prices to their lowest level since December.

“Hopefully we’ll get some stuff done,” Obama told Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti as he and other summit participants arrived for Friday evening dinner at a lodge at the secluded presidential retreat.

Obama earlier in the day aligned himself with Monti and new French President Francois Hollande by urging a solution to the euro zone crisis that combines fiscal belt-tightening measures with a “strong growth agenda.”

On the other side of the debate is German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has pushed fiscal austerity as a means of bringing down huge debt levels that are burdening European economies.

Voters in euro zone countries have shown frustration with that approach, ejecting governments such as that of Nicolas Sarkozy, who wasdefeated by Hollande, a socialist, in the May 6 French presidential election.

Wild Thing's comment.........

He’s not just satisfied with obliterating the US economy. He wants to destroy Europe, too.

Wonderful Marco Rubio on Obama: “We have Not Seen Such a Divisive Figure in Modern American History” – Video

Sen. Marco Rubio telling the South Carolina GOP Convention about President Barack Obama: “We have not seen such a divisive figure in modern American History.” He slammed Obama for having no intention on running on his failed record, but instead following a strategy of dividing America – Rich vs. Poor, Women vs. Men. Rubio said Obama’s strategy goes against the very heart of what has made America exceptional. The idea that someone else has to do worse for you to do better “is not who we have been,” Rubio said.

Mitt Romney Event in Hillsborough, NH ~ full video impressive

Mitt Romney Event in Hillsborough, NH

Mitt Romney used a 19th-century stone bridge here today to anchor his attacks against President Barack Obama, calling the 2009 economic stimulus the “largest one-time careless expenditure of government money in America’s history.”

“We have behind us a Greek chorus. And I say that because they remind us that this president is leading us toward Greece, and one reason we need to get rid of [Obama] is to make sure we don’t continue [to] have the kind of deficits that lead to Greece,” Romney saod. “So I hope that they keep up with their Greek chorus over there. My guess is that when the president speaks at the Democratic convention in Charlotte this year, he will not have Greek columnsTHIS RIGHT? behind him because he won’t want to remind people of Greece.”

“This is the absolute bridge to nowhere if there ever was one,” Romney told supporters as he motioned to the stone bridge behind him. “That’s your stimulus dollars at work — a bridge that goes nowhere. And so I hope that the president comes here, and takes a look at some of the stimulus program, there’s a long list by the way.”
Known as Sawyer Bridge, the Granite State’s bridge isn’t the same “bridge to nowhere” that was repeatedly invoked during the 2008 presidential race as an example of government waste. That bridge was in Alaska.

“It is without question the largest one-time careless expenditure of government money in American history, and the bad news is it was not just wasteful spending,” Romney continued. “It is wasteful borrowing as well because we still are going to be paying on that debt for years and years and years.”

.

Wild Thing's comment..........

Excellent speech. I hope you all have time to watch the video.

There are plenty of gems in that segment, but how about when h seems to catch himself while discussing his parents telling him he could be president if he wanted to, only to realize quickly he only ended up being vice president:

My mother believed and my father believed, that if I wanted president of the United States, I could be, I could be vice president. [Actual quote as it was delivered]

There’s also this:

Vietnam Veteran Leslie Sabo, Jr. to Receive Medal of Honor Posthumously - Update

Vietnam Veteran Leslie Sabo, Jr. to Receive Medal of Honor Posthumously

Army Specialist Leslie Sabo, Jr. died from an act of incredible heroism following the Vietnam War, leaving behind the high school sweetheart he’d married only a month before heading off to battle.

His widow was first told that Sabo was killed by sniper fire while he was guarding an ammunition duct. The real story, however, is that while in Cambodia, Sabo and his platoon were ambushed by a large enemy force. The 22-year-old charged the enemy position, killing several enemy soldiers.

He then attacked an enemy flanking force, drawing fire away from his fellow soldiers. As the enemy retreated, a grenade landed near Sabo. He picked it up threw it, shielding his comrades, but the grenade exploded, injuring Sabo. The soldier continued, crawling toward the enemy bunker and placing a grenade inside of it. He died in the subsequent explosion.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright Says of Obama, “I made it Comfortable for Him to Accept Christianity without having to Renounce His Islamic Background”

Here is audio of Edward Klein, author of “The Amateur,” talking with Sean Hannity about his new book and his interview with Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Klein interviewed Wright for more than three hours for the book, and says he has much of it on tape.

Among other things, he said Wright is “fulminating” at Obama for having “thrown him under the bus” back in 2008 when Wright’s “Godd*mn America” sermon came out. Klein reports that Wright told him that he could not say he “converted” Obama to Christianity, but that “I made it comfortable for him to accept Christianity without having to renounce his Islamic background.”

.

Wild Thing's comment.......

Like Tom says OBama is a Muslim.

The thing is we have learned that with Isalm Obama or anyone would be threatened and very possibly taken out if they were Muslim and turned away from their beliefs. They have done it enough times that we should believe them.
IMO Obama would have a very tuff time if he was ever really vetted to prove he was NOT a Muslim. His actions, associations, his administration that is heavy with Muslims and so many things prove it along with what this Rev. Wright has said...imo.

Obama Had Said We Could Keep Our Healthcare Plan...BUT Now Obamacare Forces Catholic School To Dump Its Healthcare Plan

Obamacare: Catholic school dumps its health plan

Beltway Confidential

The Franciscan University of Steubenville, a small but well-known Catholic college in eastern Ohio, has its own answer to Obamacare. It is cancelling its student health insurance policy in order to avoid complications from the Obama administration’s mandate to cover contraception, sterilizations, and abortifacient drugs.

The school notes on its website that even if it had kept its insurance policy available to students, Obamacare’s other requirements would have caused students’ premiums to double. The school will continue to provide cheap basic medical care for students at the low cost of $5 per visit, but they are on their own for more expensive treatments.

Herman Cain: "President Obama Is ‘Taking Black People For Granted’" ` video

Bishop Harry Jackson appeared on MSNBC to talk about his views on gay marriage but was told by host Chris Matthews, “I hope you evolve.” Tonight on Hannity, Jackson and former GOP candidate Herman Cain appeared on the show to talk more about the president’s support of same-sex marriage.

Cain said, “This was clearly a political decision, a political move. You know, Democrats have long taken black people for granted, their votes. Now this president coming out with this issue, he’s now taking black people for granted not just their votes. This is a states’ rights issue. Why does he want to hijack this issue and try to make it national issue when it is not.”

Sean Hannity asked Jackson if this will impact the African American vote during the election. He answered, “Remember back in 2004 George Bush was elected, reelected based on an eight percent switch in Ohio, nine percent switch in Florida of the black vote. If there’s an organization and folks really come out and say we want to defend traditional marriage, we could see this thing actually blow up in his face.”

Cain added, “He wants to repeal DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act. Forgive me for sounding as if I’m frustrated, who does he think he is? He is not God, he is the President of the United States and that’s what’s turning a lot of people off.”

Obama On Winning Reelection: “I’m Not Worried”…

The Washington Free Beacon

Obama declared “I’m not worried” about reelection before an audience of well-heeled campaign donors in New York City today, according to White House pool reports.

“Their message will be, ‘You’re upset, you’re unsatisfied. It’s Obama’s fault.’ But I’m not worried. The reason I’m not worried is because of you,” Obama said.

Obama contrasted his vision of government’s role in the economy and society in wide-ranging remarks to the audience, and continued his partisan attacks against Republicans.

“The ideas they’re putting forward have been tried,” Obama said. “We’ve tried them from 2000 to 2008 and it resulted in the most sluggish job growth we’ve ever seen.”

Over the eight years of Bush’s presidency, from January 2001 to January 2009, the economy added an average of 11,406 jobs per month, according to a Washington Free Beacon study.

OMG Obama Proposes Yet Another Multibillion-Dollar Stimulus Plan ~ This is INSANE!

Washington Times

Putting pressure on Congress to approve parts of his latest economic stimulus plan, President Obama urged Americans Saturday to push lawmakers to approve his multibillion-dollar “to-do list” for creating jobs.

“Each of the ideas on this list will help create jobs and build a stronger economy right now,” Mr. Obama said in his weekly address. “Let’s push Congress to do the right thing. Let’s keep moving this country forward together.”

The president’s list includes an expanded program to help homeowners refinance their mortgages, a proposal to give small businesses tax breaks for hiring more workers, a program that would help veterans find jobs, and an extension of tax credits for clean-energy companies.

He lobbied for the refinancing plan Friday in a speech in Reno, Nev. – a state that ranks second in the nation in mortgage foreclosures.

All told, the proposals on the president’s list could cost up to $34.7 billion: They are part of a more comprehensive $447 billion jobs package that Congress mostly has resisted.

Ron Paul-Nuts Boo Romney’s Son Josh Off Stage in AZ

AZ Central news

Supporters of Ron Paul booed the son of presidential hopeful Mitt Romney off the stage Saturday at the Arizona Republican Party convention as he sought to solidify support for his father’s nomination.

Hundreds of state GOP members were gathered at Grand Canyon University to elect delegates for the national convention in August in Tampa, which is expected to select Mitt Romney as the official Republican nominee to challenge President Barack Obama.

“We cannot afford four more years of President Obama,” said Josh Romney, the third of Mitt Romney’s five sons. “We need someone to step in there and turn things around.”

But Josh had to stop repeatedly as people booed and yelled for Paul, who has continued campaigning in the Republican primary. All other challengers, including Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich, have dropped out of the race, and Romney has a commanding lead over Paul in the estimated delegate count.

This is so absolutely disgusting to me. You may not like Romney, you may not agree with him but for those of you that are for Ron Paul shame on you. Ron Paul wants to mess with the GOP convention as well, he encourages his followers to be radical and cause trouble, he has no shame and then he trys to act so innocent.

Obama makes speech in couple's GARAGE... But they say they might not vote for him

Can't draw a crowd, Mr President? Obama makes speech in couple's GARAGE... and even they say they might not vote for him

Source

As leader of the free world President Obama will be used to making speeches to millions of people around the globe.

So he might have felt the occasion was a little beneath him yesterday when he stopped off in Reno, Nevada, to deliver an address outside a couple's garage.

In what could be a disastrous photo opportunity for the President's campaign, Mr Obama spoke to a handful of people in the crucial swing state.

The president's 15 minute address outside the home of Paul and Val Keller on Friday afternoon, drew a small audience of neighbours and supporters - though even his hosts said they were not sure if they would vote for him in the coming election.

Despite this benefit, and a one-on-one meeting with the president in the couple's kitchen, the couple reported themselves still divided on who they expect to vote for come November.

'I like him, but I've always liked him,' Mr Keller, a 67-year-old retired electrical contractor told a reporter with the Wall Street Journal.

He said he voted for the president in 2008 and plans to once again this year. His wife remains uncertain.

'I don't know yet,' she answered when asked how she'll vote. 'I want to wait and see what happens in the economy,' she told MyNews4.

Obama is pushing Congress to smooth the way for more people to take advantage of low interest rates with mortgage refinancing assistance, part of a 'to-do list' for lawmakers he unveiled earlier this week.

'We've got to have Congress move. There's absolutely no reason why they can't make this happen right now,' he told the crowd outside the Kellers' driveway which attracted a lean audience roped off across the street.

Recoverable Oil In Green River Formation Equal to Entire World’s Oil Reserves ~ And Obama Does Nothing!

GOA: Recoverable Oil In Green River Formation Equal to Entire World’s Oil Reserves

GAO: Recoverable Oil in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming 'About Equal to Entire World’s Proven Oil Reserves'

CNSNews

The Green River Formation, a largely vacant area of mostly federal land that covers the territory where Colorado, Utah and Wyoming come together, contains about as much recoverable oil as all the rest the world’s proven reserves combined, an auditor from the Government Accountability Office told Congress on Thursday.

The GAO testimony stressed that the federal government was in “a unique position to influence the development of oil shale” because the Green River deposits were mostly beneath federal land.

It also noted that developing the oil would pose “socioeconomic challenges,” which included bringing “a sizable influx of workers who along with their families put additional stress on local infrastructure” and “making planning for growth difficult for local governments.”

“The Green River Formation--an assemblage of over 1,000 feet of sedimentary rocks that lie beneath parts of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming--contains the world's largest deposits of oil shale,”Anu K. Mittal, the GAO’s director of natural resources and environment said in written testimony submitted to the House Science Subcommittee on Energy and Environment.

“USGS estimates that the Green River Formation contains about 3 trillion barrels of oil, and about half of this may be recoverable, depending on available technology and economic conditions,” Mittal testified.

“The Rand Corporation, a nonprofit research organization, estimates that 30 to 60 percent of the oil shale in the Green River Formation can be recovered,” Mittal told the subcommittee. “At the midpoint of this estimate, almost half of the 3 trillion barrels of oil would be recoverable. This is an amount about equal to the entire world's proven oil reserves.”

In her oral statement before the subcommittee, Mittal said that developing the shale oil would create wealth and jobs for the country, but also challenges for government.

“Being able to tap this vast amount of oil locked within this formation will go a long way to help to meet our future demands for oil. The U.S. Geological Survey, as you noted, estimates that the formation contains about 3 trillion barrels of oil of which half may be recoverable,” she said.

“As you can imagine having the technology to develop this vast energy resource will lead to a number of important socioeconomic benefits including the creation of jobs, increases in wealth and increases in tax and royalty payments for federal and state governments,” she said.

“While large-scale oil-shale development offers socioeconomic opportunities it also poses certain socioeconomic challenges that also should not be overlooked,” she testified. “Oil shale development like other extractive industries can bring a sizable influx of workers who along with their families put additional stressed on local infrastructure. Development from expansion of extractive industries has historically followed a boom-and-bust cycle making planning for growth difficult for local governments.”

Wild Thing's comment.........

Great news, ifi we just had a president that would jump on this and appreciate it.

Explosive Book: Bill Clinton Calls Prez Obama 'Incompetent,' 'Amateur'

Explosive Book: Bill Clinton Calls Prez Obama 'Incompetent,' 'Amateur'

New York Post

Bill Clinton thought so little of President Obama — mocking him as an “amateur” — that he pressed his wife last summer to quit her job as secretary of state and challenge him in the primaries, a new book claims,

“The country needs you!” the former president told Hillary Clinton, urging her to run this year, according to accounts of the conversation included in Edward Klein’s new biography of Obama.

The title of Klein’s explosive, unauthorized bio of Obama, “The Amateur” (Regnery Publishing), was taken directly from Bill Clinton’s bombshell criticism of the president, the author said.

“Barack Obama,” Bill Clinton said, according to book excerpts, “is an amateur.”

The withering criticism is incredible, given the fact that Bill Clinton is actively campaigning for Obama’s re-election.

But according to the book, Bill Clinton unloaded on Obama and pressed Hillary to run against her boss during a gathering in the ex-president’s home office in Chappaqua last August that included longtime friends, Klein said.

“The economy’s a mess, it’s dead flat. America has lost its Triple-A rating . . . You know better than Obama does,” Bill said.

Bill Clinton insisted he had “no relationship” with Obama and had been consulted more frequently by his presidential successor, George W. Bush.

Obama, Bill Clinton said, “doesn’t know how to be president” and is “incompetent.”

Frank VanderSloot Speaks Out on Being Targeted for Donating to a Romney Super PAC

Frank VanderSloot gave $1 million to a Romney Super PAC, but then found himself listed on an Obama campaign website accusing him of being among eight wealthy individuals with less than reputable records. The Wall Street Journal reports that people have now begun investigating VanderSloot, even digging into his divorce records.

VanderSloot, a multimillionaire who runs a wellness products company in Idaho, joined Your World to tell his story. He said, “When President Obama’s campaign came out and listed us as one of his eight on his enemies list … that’s when everything lit up. That’s when our lives changed.”

Among the attacks on VanderSloot are accusations that he is anti-gay. He said, “I have many gay friends, who had all kinds of questions about this … Those people that I know well weren’t affected by this, but for people who didn’t know me who are members of our business or customers and they were reading this, then we got a barrage of phone calls. People cancelling their customer membership with us.”

Obama and hsi people and his entire administration and election people, every one of them are an enemy of our country IMO.

Listen up and hear me well! This is a critical time for our nation, and too many people are sitting back to let others do the hard work. So it’s time for all of us to put some gas in it and persuade all eligible gun owners to register. That’s why I volunteered my time to film the ad shown here.

Now it’s your turn and I want to see results! Start now by sending this message to everyone you know who supports the Second Amendment.

Yesterday 42% of West Virginia Democrats Pick Federal Prison Inmate Over Obama in Primary

Yesterday 42% of West Virginia Democrats Pick Federal Prison Inmate Over Obama in Primary

Barack Obama is soooo unpopular that a Texas inmate just won 42% of the votes in the West Virginia Democratic presidential primary.

Yahoo News

Just how unpopular is President Barack Obama in some parts of the country? Enough that a man in prison in Texas is getting 4 out of 10 votes in West Virginia’s Democratic presidential primary.

The inmate, Keith Judd, is serving time at the Beaumont Federal Correctional Institution in Texas for making threats at the University of New Mexico in 1999.

Voters in other states showed their displeasure with Obama in Democratic primaries last March.

In Oklahoma, anti-abortion protestor Randall Terry got 18 percent of the primary vote. A lawyer from Tennessee, John Wolfe, pulled nearly 18,000 votes in the Louisiana primary.

Judd won at least eight counties in West Virginia tonight: In the Democrat Primary, Judd beat President Obama in the following eight counties: Hardy, Logan, Mingo, Webster, Wyoming, Boone, Clay and Gilmer.

.

Felon beats Obama in several West Virginia counties

Politico 44 news

A Texas felon is currently giving President Obama a run for his money in the West Virginia Democratic primary, beating Obama in several counties and winning enough of the vote to be eligible for at least one delegate at the convention, according to the Associated Press.

Perennial candidate Keith Russell Judd, currently serving 210 months in a federal prison, is currently pulling down 40 percent of the vote to Obama's 60 percent, with more than 90 percent of the vote reported.

Judd has caused problems in other elections as well. In 2008, Idaho Democrats were peeved Judd qualified for the ballot, with one Democratic official calling him a "yahoo prisoner in Texas."

It's not the first time that Democratic primary voters have sent a message of disapproval to Obama — the president lost 15 Oklahoma counties to anti-abortion activist Randall Terry in the March primary.

Obama is hardly popular in West Virginia — he lost the state to both Hillary Clinton and John McCain, in the primary and general election respectively. The state's Democratic governor and senator have both so far declined to endorse Obama for reelection.

9/11 Suspects’ Courtroom Antics Could Cause the Trial to Take Years

9/11 Suspects’ Courtroom Antics Could Cause the Trial to Take Years

FOX News

The 9/11 self-proclaimed mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his co-defendants were disruptive throughout their hearing at Guantanamo Bay over the weekend. Their antics caused the hearing to last 13 hours and included taking off their earphones that provided Arabic translations, insisting that the 20-plus page document of the charges against them be read aloud, partially disrobing, making a paper airplane and placing it on top of the microphone, etc.

Catherine Herridge, who was watching the hearing at Gitmo, pointed out the absurdity that the suspects took out the Arabic translation earphones even though at one point during the hearing they began reading an English-language magazine, The Economist.

Judge Andrew Napolitano said on Studio B, “Everybody is entitled to be present at their trial to confront the evidence against them and confront the witnesses against them. That has been tempered somewhat by the Military Commissions Act which excludes the defendants from hearing certain witnesses and looking at certain documents.”

He explained that the defendants can give up their right to be present in the courtroom by engaging in “behavior that unnecessarily disrupts or lengthens to an intolerable point the trial, the court can exclude them and put them in a place where they can observe what goes on but their antics won’t interrupt.”

Going forward, Judge Napolitano said, “If the court permits them to stay in the courtroom and they continue like this, this trial will take years and … they haven’t even picked a jury yet.”

Former Obama “Czar” Van Jones: “Don’t Ever Let Somebody Like Me In The White House”

Van Jones spoke to Chicagoans attending the Green Festival Saturday May 5, 2012. During his address, Jones made statement, beyond creepy, when discussing his time spent in the Obama White House. Jones said "You don't ever let a somebody like me in the White House."

After Jones closed his speech I questioned him regarding those comments, and specifically what he meant when he said "someone like him." Jones hid behind 4 female staffers and event staff along with other event management. The press contact for the event, Erin Brunner of Organicworks PR, grabbed my wrist and began to push me as I walked backwards, attempting to get Jones to answer my questions.

Jones continued to ignore me, and I was asked to leave by event staff. Brunner, who initially issued my press credential from Green Festival, allowing me to cover the event, then told me I had to surrender my credential and I would not be allowed back into the event.

Marco Rubio: "Obama "Typical Washington Politician" That's "Sad To Watch"

Obama "Typical Washington Politician" That's "Sad To Watch"

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) talks budget crisis and foreign policy, steers clear of vice presidential rumors.

WALLACE: But on the bigger issue, Senator, and this was one of the points that Obama made yesterday, President Obama made in his speech yesterday -- he says the Republicans and Romney will take this country back when it comes to gay rights, when it comes to birth control, when it comes to abortion?

RUBIO: Well, once again, I mean, there's been differences of opinion between the parties on these issues. For example, on the issue of life -- yes, the Republican Party, by and large -- although there is diversity in the Republican Party on the life issue. In essence, there are such as a thing as pro-choice Republicans. There are very pro-life Democrats that are certainly tolerated within in the mainstream of the Democratic Party. So think that's important to point out.

On that issue, there's actually more tolerance in the Republican Party. That being said, I'm proud of the fact that the Republican Party is the pro-life party on the issue of life.

On the other issues that you've raised -- I don't know anything about a contraception debate. I keep hearing about that. I do know about a religious liberty's debate that we had in this country, about whether the federal government should have the power to force a religious institution -- in this case the Catholic Church -- to have to pay for something that the church teaches against, so that issue was about.

I understand the president turned it into a contraception issue, because it ties back to this strategy of his administration. He doesn't want to run on his record. Instead they are in search of an issue that they can divide the American people on.

And that's wrong. That's not what he ran as. I remember the speech in 2004 when he spoke to John Kerry's nominating convention. And he said there wasn't a red America or a blue America, there was a United States of America. Whatever happened to that Barack Obama?

The president we have today is a typical Washington politician that's prone to hyperbole and decisiveness and false outrage. And I think it's very sad -- very sad to watch.

Wild Thing's comment............

Marco was great Sunday, I like the way he answers questions and does not use a lot of lawyer lingo.

NY Times

Obama sought to rekindle the passion of his 2008 victory on Saturday with a pair of huge rallies in battleground states ...

“At times, the rallies had the feeling of a concert by an aging rock star: a few supporters were wearing faded “Hope” and Obama 2008 T-shirts, and cheers went up when the president told people to tell their friends that this campaign was “still about hope” and “still about change.”

Former AG Michael Mukasey: Obama Officials Drafted Memo to Blame Military If Osama bin Laden Mission Failed

.

Former AG Michael Mukasey: Obama Officials Drafted Memo to Blame Military If OBL Mission Failed

Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey told Sean Hannity tonight that the Obama Administration drafted a memo to protect the president from blame if the mission to kill or capture Osama Bin Laden would have failed. That way Obama could blame the general instead of taking the blame himself.

“That was a highly lawyered memo (designed to protect the president politically)… I think there’s going to be more that’s going to be tumbling out about that escapade but so far that memo is enough.“

Mukasey wrote an article about it.

The Wall Street Journal

The first anniversary of the SEAL Team 6 operation that killed Osama bin Laden brings the news that President Obama plans during the coming campaign to exploit the bragging rights to the achievement. That plan invites scrutiny that is unlikely to benefit him.

Consider the events surrounding the operation. A recently disclosed memorandum from then-CIA Director Leon Panetta shows that the president's celebrated derring-do in authorizing the operation included a responsibility-escape clause: "The timing, operational decision making and control are in Admiral McRaven's hands. The approval is provided on the risk profile presented to the President. Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration. The direction is to go in and get bin Laden and if he is not there, to get out."

Which is to say, if the mission went wrong, the fault would be Adm. McRaven's, not the president's. Moreover, the president does not seem to have addressed at all the possibility of seizing material with intelligence value—which may explain his disclosure immediately following the event not only that bin Laden was killed, but also that a valuable trove of intelligence had been seized, including even the location of al Qaeda safe-houses. That disclosure infuriated the intelligence community because it squandered the opportunity to exploit the intelligence that was the subject of the boast.

The only reliable weapon that any administration has against the current threat to this country is intelligence. Every operation like the one against bin Laden (or the one that ended the career of Anwar al-Awlaki, the U.S. citizen and al Qaeda propagandist killed in a drone attack last September) dips into the reservoir of available intelligence. Refilling that reservoir apparently is of no importance to an administration that, after an order signed by the president on his second day in office, has no classified interrogation program—and whose priorities are apparent from its swift decision to reopen investigations of CIA operators for alleged abuses in connection with the classified interrogation program that once did exist.

While contemplating how the killing of bin Laden reflects on the president, consider the way he emphasized his own role in the hazardous mission accomplished by SEAL Team 6:

"I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority . . . even as I continued our broader effort. . . . Then, after years of painstaking work by my intelligence community I was briefed . . . I met repeatedly with my national security team . . . And finally last week I determined that I had enough intelligence to take action. . . . Today, at my direction . . ."

That seems a jarring formulation coming from a man who, when first elected, was asked which president he would model himself on and replied, Lincoln.

Lincoln took responsibility in August 1862 for failures that had been attributed to General George McClellan—eventually sacked for incompetence—and Secretary of War Edwin Stanton. Lincoln told a crowd that McClellan was not at fault for seeking more than Stanton could give, and “I stand here, as justice requires me to do, to take upon myself what has been charged upon the Secretary of War.”

Dwight Eisenhower is famous for having penned a statement to be issued in anticipation of the failure of the Normandy invasion that reads in relevant part: “My decision to attack at this time and place was based upon the best information available. The troops, the air and the Navy did all that bravery and devotion to duty could do. If any blame attaches to the attempt it is mine alone.”

A week later, when the success of the invasion was apparent, Eisenhower saluted the Allied Expeditionary Forces: “One week ago this morning there was established through your coordinated efforts our first foothold in northwestern Europe. High as was my preinvasion confidence in your courage, skill and effectiveness . . . your accomplishments . . . have exceeded my brightest hopes.

Eisenhower did mention himself at the end: “I truly congratulate you upon a brilliantly successful beginning. . . . Liberty loving people everywhere would today like to join me in saying to you, ‘I am proud of you.’”

Such examples are worth remembering every time President Obama claims bin Laden bragging rights.

.

GOOD from Our Heroes!!! More Navy SEALs To Speak Out About Obama.

Source

In the wake of a warm conservative reception for a web video trashing the president for “spiking the football” on the anniversary of Osama Bin Laden’s death, the conservative group Veterans for a Strong America plans to gather Navy SEALs and Special Forces operators to criticize the White House during the 2012 campaign.

“We’re looking to [put together] a coalition, to field SEALs and operators that want to come out publicly,” executive director of Veterans for a Strong America, Joel Arends, tells BuzzFeed. “I’ve had a lot of discussions with former SEALs and current SEALs. I’ve been talking to operators in the community. There is palatable discontent.”

The video, which took about ten days to produce, went viral. The ad has had more than 250,000 views on YouTube and he’s received some 4,000 emails. Arends was featured on Fox News channel Thursday morning.

Karl Rove also tweeted his support of the ad.

.

Arends says the group is now looking at airing the advertisement on television in geographic areas with military communities. “Right now we’re going through the process analyzing where we think it would play best,” he says.

“They’re going to have the money” to air the spot, another Republican source told BuzzFeed.

Arends denies he’s trying to “swift boat” Obama, however, a phrase coined in the conservative attacks on the details of John Kerry's service in Vietnam. “I’m not adverse to that term,” he says. “But we’re not going to run a swift boat campaign against him. We’re going to talk about the issues.”

Arends declined to disclose the source of funding for his group, saying he prefers to keep the donors “anonymity,” and that he’s under no legal obligation to do so.

Gov. Rick Perry: If Mitt Romney Doesn’t Win the Election, America Will Be on the Brink of Bankruptcy

Governor Rick Perry, someone who knows what it takes to create 1.2 million jobs, weighed in on today’s Your World.

He told Neil Cavuto that “it’s not rocket science,” describing that small businesses don’t need big government telling them how to run everything.
When it comes to supporting Mitt Romney for the presidency, he is on board, saying, “I’m a heck of a lot more comfortable with him than I am Barack Obama.” Perry added that in the 2012 election it’s going to come down to the economy. “Mitt Romney has to win this election in November of 2012, or our country truly is going to be on the verge of bankruptcy and international affairs, that I suggest to you, none of us are going to like.”
'Mitt Romney has to win this election'...'We have to make changes and we have to make changes in a hurry'

“Veterans for a Strong America” Ad Hammers Obama for Shameless use of “I” in Taking Credit for Killing Osama Bin Laden

Why does President Obama take so much credit for killing Bin Laden?

“Veterans for a Strong America” Ad Hammers Obama for Shameless use of “I” in Taking Credit for Killing Osama Bin Laden . It focuses squarely on Obama’s narcissism – his total focus on “I.” The ad makes the point that the real heroes deserve better than a President who uses their bravery for his own political gain.
America knows who deserves the credit for killing Osama Bin Laden - United States Navy SEALs and the American intelligence community. Join with Veterans for a Strong America and let President Obama know who really deserves the credit.

The last paragraph alone is not yet cast in stone. You and I will write that paragraph.

Will it read as above or will it be a more happy ending for most of America ?

Don't just belittle the opposition. Search for the truth. We all need to pull together or watch the demise of a free democratic society. Pray for Americans to seek the truth and take action for it will keep us FREE. Our biggest enemy is not China, Russia, North Korea or Iran . Our biggest enemy is a contingent of politicians in Washington , DC . The government will not help, so we need to do it ourselves.

Question....will you delete this, or pass it on to others who don't know about Obama's actions and plans for the USA, so that they may know how to vote in November, 2012 and the ensuing years?

It's your decision. I believe it does matter. How about you?

WHEN - November 2012 comes, it will matter who you vote for!

"When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing; when you see that money is flowing to those who deal not in goods, but in favors; when you see that men get rich more easily by graft than by work, and your laws no longer protect you against them, but protect them against you… you may know that your society is doomed." … Ayn Rand

Navy SEALs Slam Obama For Using Them As 'Ammunition’` ~ God Bless Our Navy SEALs!

Navy SEALs Slam Obama For Using Them As 'Ammunition’

Serving and former US Navy SEALs have slammed President Barack Obama for taking the credit for killing Osama bin Laden and accused him of using Special Forces operators as ‘ammunition’ for his re-election campaign.

The SEALs spoke out to MailOnline after the Obama campaign released an ad entitled ‘One Chance’.
In it President Bill Clinton is featured saying that Mr Obama took ‘the harder and the more honourable path’ in ordering that bin Laden be killed. The words ‘Which path would Mitt Romney have taken?’ are then displayed.

Besides the ad, the White House is marking the first anniversary of the SEAL Team Six raid that killed bin Laden inside his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan with a series of briefings and an NBC interview in the Situation Room designed to highlight the ‘gutsy call’ made by the President.

Mr Obama used a news conference today to trumpet his personal role and imply that his Republican opponent Mr Romney, who in 2008 expressed reservations about the wisdom of sending troops into Pakistan, would have let bin Laden live.

‘I said that I'd go after bin Laden if we had a clear shot at him, and I did,’ Mr Obama said. ‘If there are others who have said one thing and now suggest they'd do something else, then I'd go ahead and let them explain it.’

Ryan Zinke, a former Commander in the US Navy who spent 23 years as a SEAL and led a SEAL Team 6 assault unit, said: ‘The decision was a no brainer. I applaud him for making it but I would not overly pat myself on the back for making the right call.

‘I think every president would have done the same. He is justified in saying it was his decision but the preparation, the sacrifice - it was a broader team effort.’

Mr Zinke, who is now a Republican state senator in Montana, added that MR Obama was exploiting bin Laden’s death for his re-election bid. ‘The President and his administration are positioning him as a war president using the SEALs as ammunition. It was predictable.’

Obama has faced criticism even from allies about his decision to make a campaign ad about the bin Laden raid. Arianna Huffington, an outspoken liberal who runs the left-leaning Huffington Post website, roundly condemned it.

She told CBS: ‘We should celebrate the fact that they did such a great job. It's one thing to have an NBC special from the Situation Room... all that to me is perfectly legitimate, but to turn it into a campaign ad is one of the most despicable things you can do.’

Campaigning in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Mr Romney responded to a shouted question by a reporter by saying: ‘Even Jimmy Carter would have given that order.’

A serving SEAL Team member said: ‘Obama wasn’t in the field, at risk, carrying a gun. As president, at every turn he should be thanking the guys who put their lives on the line to do this. He does so in his official speeches because he speechwriters are smart.

‘But the more he tries to take the credit for it, the more the ground operators are saying, “Come on, man!” It really didn’t matter who was president. At the end of the day, they were going to go.’

Chris Kyle, a former SEAL sniper with 160 confirmed and another 95 unconfirmed kills to his credit, said: ‘The operation itself was great and the nation felt immense pride. It was great that we did it.

‘But bin Laden was just a figurehead. The war on terror continues. Taking him out didn’t really change anything as far as the war on terror is concerned and using it as a political attack is a cheap shot.

‘In years to come there is going to be information that will come out that Obama was not the man who made the call. He can say he did and the people who really know what happened are inside the Pentagon, are in the military and the military isn’t allowed to speak out against the commander- in-chief so his secret is safe.’

Senior military figures have said that Admiral William McRaven, a former SEAL who was then head of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) made the decision to take bin Laden out. Tactical decisions were delegated even further down the chain of command.

Mr Kyle added: ‘He's trying to say that Romney wouldn't have made the same call? Anyone who is patriotic to this country would have made that exact call, Democrat or Republican. Obama is taking more credit than he is due but it's going to get him some pretty good mileage.’

A former intelligence official who was serving in the US government when bin Laden was killed said that the Obama administration knew about the al-Qaeda leader’s whereabouts in October 2010 but delayed taking action and risked letting him escape.

‘In the end, Obama was forced to make a decision and do it. He knew that if he didn’t do it the political risks in not taking action were huge. Mitt Romney would have made the call but he would have made it earlier – as would George W. Bush.’

Brandon Webb, a former SEAL who spent 13 years on active duty and served in Iraq and Afghanistan, said: ‘Bush should get partial credit for putting the system in place.

‘Obama inherited a very robust package with regards to special ops and the intelligence community. But Obama deserves credit because he got bin Laden – you can’t take that away from him.

‘My friends that work in Special Operations Command (SOCOM) that have been on video teleconferences with Obama on these kill or capture situations say that Obama has no issue whatsoever with making decisions and typically it's kill. He’s hitting the kill button every time. I have a lot of respect for him for that.’

But he said that many SEALs were dismayed about the amount of publicity the Obama administration had generated about SEAL Team Six, the very existence of which is highly classified.

‘The majority of the SEALs I know are really proud of the operation but it does become “OK, enough is enough – we’re ready to get back to work and step out of the limelight.” They don’t want to be continuously paraded around a global audience like a show dog.

‘Obama has a very good relationship with the Special Operations community at large, especially the SEALs, and it’s nice to see. We had the same relationship with George W. Bush when he was president.’

It was ‘stretching a little much’ for Mr Obama to suggest only he would have made the decision. ‘I personally I don't think Romney would have any problem making tough decisions. He got a very accomplished record of making decision as a business professional.

‘He may not have charisma but he clearly has leadership skills. I don’t think he'd have any problem taking that decision.’

Clint Bruce, who gave up the chance of an NFL career to serve as a SEAL officer before retiring as a lieutenant after nine years, said: ‘We were extremely surprised and discouraged by the publicity because it compromises the ability of those guys to operate.

‘It’s a waste of time to speculate about who would and wouldn’t have made that decision. It was a symphony of opportunity and intelligence that allowed this administration to give the green light. We want to acknowledge that they made that decision.

‘Politicians should let the public know where they stand on national security but not in the play-by-play, detailed way that has been done recently. The intricacies of national security should not become part of stump speeches.’

Did you know? Navy SEAL Aaron Vaughn, who was one of the SEALs featured in Act of Valor, was among the SEALs who were killed in what is now known as the darkest day in the history of naval special warfare.~ Chrissie

Fallen SEAL Featured in Act of Valor, Honored in Screenings

U.S. Navy SEALs .com

We witnessed how the Navy SEALs made a grand entrance for the premiere night of Act of Valor at the Arclight Theater. The movie has become well known due to the fact that it featured real Navy SEALs playing themselves, as opposed to Hollywood actors.

One of the SEALs who made his big screen debut over the weekend, however, was no longer around to watch his first movie. It is just one more reminder that the SEALs in Act of Valor are nothing less than the real deal.

Fallen SEAL Aaron Vaughn, who was among the SEALs who were killed in what is now known as the darkest day in the history of naval special warfare, is one of the SEALs featured in Act of Valor.

Navy Special Warfare Operator Petty Officer 1st Class (SEAL) Aaron C. Vaughn was killed on August 6, 2011, when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter that he and his fellow special warfare operators were riding in was shot down in Wardak province, Afghanistan. He left behind his wife, Kimberly, and their two young children. He was only 30 years old.

Vaughn is a native of Obion County, Tennessee. He was honored during screenings of Act of Valor at Hollywood Showcase in Union City on February 25; a percentage of concession sales during the evening’s showings went to the Children of Aaron Vaughn Memorial Fund. There were also memorial bracelets available for sale, the proceeds of which also went towards the memorial fund.

Charles Krauthammer and Brit Hume Statements On Obama's Bin Laden Attack On Romney Is "Unseemly"

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Romney is certainly right when he says 'I would have done it.' There's nobody of prominence in Washington that would not have done it, other than by his own admission the man who is a heart beat away from the presidency, Joe Biden. And of course anybody would. Romney is right, Jimmy Carter would have done it. Jimmy Carter, in fact, did something harder, which he had no success at. It was an extraction operation from a far distance, which is a lot easier to go in to kill than it is to extract your own people unharmed and he had a failure on his hands. Of course it would have been done. That was the tragic mission where the helicopters crashed into each other and where we were out to rescue the hostages and didn't succeed. So I think that is sort of an open and shut case.

I think there is also a case to be made that Obama's attacks are not only inaccurate, but unseemly. Inaccurate because Romney was talking about the larger context with a War on Terror and second, what he was saying in 2008 was that you don't announce that you're going into Pakistan because you don't want to poison relations, but you do it. In fact, Obama himself, when he did the raid, did not announce he was going in public. In fact, he didn't even tell the Pakistanis privately until it was over. So that's a matter of diplomacy And it's unseemly because the killing of bin Laden was a moment of solemnity, catharsis for the United States. Obama has every right to say I did it as a way to immunize himself against the traditional charges of being weak. But to taunt his opponents in saying, 'I did it and you wouldn't' is unseemly and partisan. I think it was a big political mistake.

Brit Hume’s Commentary on the President’s Touting of the Bin Laden Raid

Senior political analyst Brit Hume commented today on Special Report and said, “There is nothing wrong with President Obama and his campaign citing the bin Laden raid as one of the successes of his administration. Mr. Obama needs to be careful because there is almost certainly less political gold in those hills than he may imagine.”

Hume referenced a Gallup poll taken right after last year’s raid which asked people who they believe deserves credit for finding and killing bin Laden. Overwhelmingly 89 percent said the military while 35 percent said President Obama.

Regarding the president’s remarks today, Hume said engaging in partisan politics that way diminishes him in the eye of the public as being seen as presidential. He said, “In the rough and tumble of a campaign such distortions may be commonplace, but for the president himself to do it in the presence of a foreign leader in the White House brings one word to mind. Yuck.”

Arianna Huffington Calls Obama’s Bin Laden Ad attacking Mitt Romney, “Despicable” – Video

Arianna Huffington: Obama ad ‘despicable’

Huffington Post editor-in-chief Arianna Huffington said Monday that making a campaign ad about the killing of Osama bin Laden, as President Barack Obama has done, “is one of the most despicable things you can do.”

“I think it’s one thing to celebrate the fact that they did such a great job. It’s one thing to have an NBC special from the Situation Room,” the media mogul said on “CBS This Morning.” “All that, to me, is perfectly legitimate. But to turn it into a campaign ad is one of the most despicable things you can do.”

She added: “There is no way to know whether Romney would’ve been as decisive. And to actually speculate that he wouldn’t be is, to me, not the way to run campaigns on either side.”

Huffington likened the ad to Hillary Clinton’s “3 a.m. phone call” spot against Obama during the 2008 campaign: “It’s the same thing that Hillary Clinton did with the ‘3 a.m. call,’ you know — ‘You are not ready to be commander-in-chief.’”

I am glad to see even the left speaking out at Obama for this. It will carry more weight to make people wake up about Obama, then if any of us did it.

Obama Better Checks Facts....Romney Was Strong On Wanting Osama bin Laden Taken Out Killed

Team Obama might want to do their homework before tossing out a bogus charge like 'Romney wouldn't have gone after Bin Laden.' In a Republican debate at the Reagan Library in May of 2007, moderator Chris Matthews asks Romney about the very ...quote that's in the news today. Romney says 'we'll move everything to get him.'....At the end Romney adds "he is gonna pay and he will die!"
