A Few Points From A Former Bush Supporter

First on the list, effing tired of being taken for granted. Forget your friends and you deserve your enemies.

Second, if there is any similarity between Vietnam and Iraq, it's that the administration waging the war no longer knows what the fuck it's doing or how to define the effort. Apparently Iraqi democracy is more important than the American version.

Squandering political capital through indifference to your base and to the persuadable opposition disqualifies you from public office.

All of the shortcomings above come together in the pandering to the criminal class we call illegal immigrants.

Makes friends with them.

Have no realistic plan for preventing a further degradation of the problem.

Behave like the French Court in doing it.

As the world slips closer and closer to firestorm ignited by Iran, these idiots can't even find the backbone to protect our own borders.

All I know now is that the future looks very grim. We have no government worthy of the term, we have enemies everywhere and rats gnawing at the fabric of American society. What's even worse than the practical matters is that the shear weight of pride in country and citizenship can be a force magnifier. Even that, now, is in doubt.

The Bush Administration isn't even up to level of Jacque Chirac's. Whatever else you say about Chirac, at least he still makes a big deal about being a Frenchman. For that matter, maybe the same can be said of George Bush.

Just The Facts Ma'am! Hey! Illegals GET OUT!

And this probably is NOT even a full list!

From HERE

40 percent of all workers in L.A. County are working for cash and not paying taxes.

95 percent of all arrest warrants issued for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

75 percent of people on L.A.'s most-wanted list are illegal aliens.

Over two-thirds of all births are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by the taxpayers.

Nearly 25 percent of all inmates in California detention centers are here illegally.

Over 300,000 illegal’s are living in garages.

The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal’s from south of the border.

Nearly 60 percent of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

Of the 10 million people in Los Angeles County, 5.1 million speak English and 3.9 million speak Spanish.

21 radio stations in Los Angeles are Spanish speaking.

Less than 2 percent of illegals’ are picking crops but 29 percent are on welfare.

Over 70 percent of the U.S. annual population growth (over 90 percent of California, Florida and New York) are from immigration.

29 percent of inmates in the federal prisons are illegal aliens.

The lifetime fiscal impact (taxes minus services used) for the average adult Mexican immigrant is a negative.

They also send about $15 billion back to Mexico annually.

It cost Los Angeles $276 million in welfare costs for 100,000 children of illegal aliens.

America Means NOTHING to DemocRATS & RHINO's

.

GOP News

The planned boycott of American businesses on Monday by groups who support “rights” for illegal aliens has gained a new ally: the California Senate. In a mind-boggling move, the legislative body passed a resolution which supports the “Great American Boycott 2006.” In other words, the California Senate is siding with illegal aliens and against the overwhelming will of the American people.

As noted by the Associated Press, “California’s state senators on Thursday endorsed Monday’s boycott of schools, jobs and stores by illegal immigrants and their allies…”

The California Senate vote was along party lines, 24-13, but it really makes you wonder what these people, even though they are Democrats, are thinking. This is America, right? The Monday boycott is by ILLEGAL aliens and their supporters, right? What’s going on here?

NEVER did I think I would see anything like this in my life. God help us!

Thousands Of Illegal Alien Predators Target Children

Thousands of illegal alien predators target children

Federal agents and New York City probation officers arrested 47 criminal alien sex offenders in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Manhattan as part of the Department of Homeland Security's "Operation Predator."

Thirty-six of those arrested were in the country illegally, according to court documents. The immigrants arrested are foreign born who've been convicted sex offenders guilty of rape, sodomy, assault with intent to cause physical injury, sexual abuse and sexual misconduct, endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangerment, course sex conduct and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

The youngest of the victims was three-years old.

"Predators stalk and attack the most vulnerable segments of society, our children," said Marcy Forman, Investigations Director for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Top officials at the Department of Homeland Security recently revealed that arrests for child sex crimes during the first two years of Operation Predator have exceeded 6,000 and 85 percent of them are criminal immigrants. And our political leaders appear to tell us, "We couldn't care less."

Operation Predator is Immigration and Customs Enforcement's comprehensive initiative to safeguard children from foreign national pedophiles, international sex tourists, Internet child pornographers and human traffickers.

Operation Predator evolved out of ICE's mission to find and deport illegal aliens, particularly those with criminal records. The majority of the arrests under Operation Predator — roughly 85% — have involved foreign nationals in this country whose child sex crimes make them removable from the United States. By matching immigration databases with state Megan's law directories, ICE agents have arrested more than 1,800 registered sex offenders.

Since Operation Predator began on July 9, 2003, the initiative has resulted in 6,085 child predator arrests throughout the country — an average of roughly 250 arrests per month and eight arrests per day. While arrests have been made in every state, the most have occurred in these states: Arizona (207), California (1,578), Florida (255), Illinois (282), Michigan (153), Minnesota (190), New Jersey (423), New York (367), Oregon (148) and Texas (545).

Operation Predator also has an important international component, as leads developed by domestic ICE offices are shared with ICE Attaché offices overseas and foreign law enforcement for action. To date, leads shared by ICE with foreign authorities have resulted in the arrest of roughly 1,000 individuals overseas.

With an average of nearly 250 child sex predator arrests per month, ICE's Operation Predator has emerged as one of most successful efforts ever launched to protect America's children. In enforcing the nation's immigration laws, ICE is systematically targeting those who pose the greatest threats, including criminal aliens who prey on our children. Those captured are believed to be a drop in the bucket when one realizes most sex crimes — especially those involving children go unreported.

Some recent ICE arrests involving criminal aliens who committed child sex crimes include Julio Cesar Rabago-Magana, a Mexican man who raped a four-year-old child in the basement of Mercado Central in Minneapolis, Minn. Rabago-Magana pleaded guilty Oct. 23, 2002 to first-degree criminal sexual conduct. After serving his criminal sentence, he was arrested by ICE agents at his St. Paul home on March 3, 2005, and deported six days later.

To date, more than 2,100 of these foreign-born predators have been removed from the United States to their home nations. As part of this process, ICE advises the host nation governments about the criminal histories of each sex predator it is deporting to their nations. ICE also issues Green Notices through Interpol in appropriate cases. The Green Notice provides information on career criminals who have committed, or are likely to commit, offenses in several countries.

McCain Gives Speech to Brussels Forum

.

EU and US strike different tones on Iran

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The United States and the European Union struck different tones on Saturday on how to respond to Iran’s nuclear defiance while insisting they were in full agreement.

Speaking at a transatlantic conference, EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said no one was considering military action over Tehran’s refusal to halt uranium enrichment and Europe did not want to join a “coalition of the willing” against Iran.

Influential U.S. Senator John McCain told the Brussels Forum in a speech on Friday night: “There is only one thing worse than military action, and that is a nuclear-armed Iran.”

He said the United States would not stand by and let Iran wipe out Israel, as Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had called for.

Wild Thing's comment.......

Let's see, he is against military action and he is against bombing Iran. So if we do have a sit down with Iran.....well let's just say I would not believe anything Iran's President says or the promises he makes. So McCain how do you want to take care of Iran and the many threats their leadershihp makes to Israel and America?

Charlie Daniels on the Mexican Standoff

Mexican Standoff

I don’t know how everybody else feels about it, but to me I think Hispanic people in this country, legally or illegally, made a huge public relations mistake with their recent demonstrations.

I don’t blame anybody in the world for wanting to come to the United States of America, as it is a truly wonderful place. But when the first thing you do when you set foot on American soil is illegal it is flat out wrong and I don’t care how many lala land left heads come out of the woodwork and start trying to give me sensitivity lessons.

I don’t need sensitivity lessons, in fact I don’t have anything against Mexicans, I just have something against criminals and anybody who comes into this country illegally is a criminal and if you don’t believe it try coming into America from a foreign country without a passport and see how far you get.

What disturbs me about the demonstrations is that it’s tantamount to saying, “I am going to come into your country even if it means breaking your laws and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

It’s an “in your face” action and speaking just for me I don’t like it one little bit and if there were a half dozen pairs of gonads in Washington bigger than English peas it wouldn’t be happening.

Where are you, you bunch of lilly livered, pantywaist, forked tongued, sorry excuses for defenders of The Constitution? Have you been drinking the water out of the Potomac again?

And even if you pass a bill on immigration it will probably be so pork laden and watered down that it won’t mean anything anyway. Besides, what good is another law going to do when you won’t enforce the ones on the books now?

And what ever happened to the polls guys? I thought you folks were the quintessential finger wetters. Well you sure ain’t paying any attention to the polls this time because somewhere around eighty percent of Americans want something done about this mess, and mess it is and getting bigger everyday.

This is no longer a problem, it is a dilemma and headed for being a tragedy. Do you honestly think that what happened in France with the Muslims can’t happen here when the businesses who hire these people finally run out of jobs and a few million disillusioned Hispanics take to the streets?

If you, Mr. President, Congressmen and Senators, knuckle under on this and refuse to do something meaningful it means that you care nothing for the kind of country your children and grandchildren will inherit.

But I guess that doesn’t matter as long as you get re-elected.

Shame on you.

Pray for our troops.

What do you think?

God Bless America

The 101st Fighting Keyboardists

.

I am now a proud member of the 101st Fighting Keyboardists, Captain Ed , Frank J. and Freedom Dogs are the founders of the new group

From Captain Ed.........

"For many of us, we know that without presenting our arguments in the national forum, many in the media and the public will quickly overpower the debate and threaten the policies we feel give us the best long-term opportunity to defeat terrorism and the states that fund and shelter them.

Many on the left disagree, however, and often they provide challenging arguments and valuable perspectives on policy and the manner in which it gets implemented. However, many more do little but make ad hominem attacks on those with whom they disagree. They spend a great deal of effort labeling people rather than providing rational arguments on policy, and even the labels they select don't provide much more than amusement.

That's why Frank J of IMAO, Derek Brigham of Freedom Dogs, and I have decided to create -- for real -- the 101st Fighting Keyboardists and adopt the chicken hawk as our mascot.

And why the chicken hawk? When we looked into it, it turns out that the chicken hawk is a pretty impressive predator. It's the largest of its family. This species vigorously defends its territory, getting even more aggressive when the conditions get harshest. It adapts to all climates. Most impressively, it feeds on chickens, mice, and rats."

English~ English ~ English Get That Straight!

.

Spanish 'Star-Spangled Banner' Draws Ire

MIAMI (AP) - British music producer Adam Kidron says that when he came up with the idea of a Spanish-language version of the U.S. national anthem, he saw it as an ode to the millions of immigrants seeking a better life.

But in the week since Kidron announced the song - which features artists such as Wyclef Jean, hip-hop star Pitbull and Puerto Rican singers Carlos Ponce and Olga Tanon - it has been the target of a fierce backlash.

Some Internet bloggers and others are infuriated by the thought of "The Star-Spangled Banner" sung in a language other than English.

"Would the French accept people singing the La Marseillaise in English as a sign of French patriotism? Of course not," said Mark Krikorian, head of the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies, a think tank that supports tighter immigration controls.

The initial version of "Nuestro Himno," or "Our Anthem," comes out Friday and uses lyrics based closely on the English-language original, said Kidron, who heads the record label Urban Box Office.

Pro-immigration protests are planned around the country for Monday, and the record label is urging Hispanic radio stations nationwide to play the cut at 7 p.m. EDT Friday in a sign of solidarity.

A remix to be released in June will contain several lines in English that condemn U.S. immigration laws. Among them: "These kids have no parents, cause all of these mean laws ... let's not start a war with all these hard workers, they can't help where they were born."

Bush Says Anthem Should Be in English

The national anthem should be sung in English _ not Spanish _ President Bush declared Friday, amid growing restlessness over the millions of immigrants here illegally.

"One of the things that's very important is, when we debate this issue, that we not lose our national soul," the president exclaimed. "One of the great things about America is that we've been able to take people from all walks of life bound as one nation under God. And that's the challenge ahead of us."

When the president was asked at a Rose Garden question-and-answer session whether the anthem should be sung in Spanish, he replied: "I think the national anthem ought to be sung in English, and I think people who want to be a citizen of this country ought to learn English and they ought to learn to sing the national anthem in English."

He made his remarks on the matters during a wide-ranging briefing with reporters.

"I think people who want to be citizens of this country ought to learn English," Bush said

Wild Thing's comment.....
A-hem President Bush, I also think people coming to this country to live here should come here legally NOT illegally. Ok-key-doh-key?
And another thing that irritates me about this, is that the Spainish version cuts out all the parts that refer to the war that INSPIRED Key to write the song!

UPDATE: United Flight 93 Film to Open NY Film Festival

Update to this post:

Today Nick and I went to see this film. I knew it would make me cry and I knew it would make me angry. We both sat there and cried and so did others around us. Tears of saddness but also tears of pride in America and Americans.

The anger at the terrorists could not be any stronger then it was going into the film. But my anger at the left, the democrats sure as hell got stronger if possible. Their anti-war BS, their we deserved to be attack chants should be slammed whenever possible.

The movie is made with cuts back and forth between the Air Traffic controllers, the Military room and the nightmare on the plane. Several of the actors in the film were playing themselves that were Air Traffic controllers and Military personel.

It is a powerful film and I am glad they left out the personal stories of each of the passengers. Instead it shows the human spirit of Americans to fight back in ther face of death. To make that one last attempt no matter what knowing the outcome is almost sure that it will end in each persons death.

If you go to see it this weekend 10% of the Goss revenu proceeds go to the Memorial Fund. I wish they had it more like 50% of the revenu, but this is how they have it set up.

God help us if we let these human pieces of flesh the terrorists get away with anything they do to us again. Thank God too that Bush went after them unlike Clinton that could have cared less.

.

From Chris Driscoll, he is the son of Patrick "Joe" Driscoll, Flight 93

" I have not seen the movie yet but I expect they'll have a private screening for the families very soon. Universal has been tremendous with communicating with the families throughout the production. I've gotten in touch w/ the lad who plays my father - Michael Reynolds...he live is England. I have a feeling you're not going to get some Hollywood-whitewashed version. They seemed to be VERY careful about depicting things as they saw them happening - which is why the families were so cooperative in putting this film together."

September 11 plane drama to open NY film festival
By Claudia Parsons
Wed Mar 29, 5:29 PM ET

"United 93," a film dramatization of the events on the hijacked plane that crashed in Pennsylvania on September 11, will have its world premiere at a New York film festival next month.

"'United 93' recreates the doomed trip in actual time, from takeoff to hijacking to the realization by those onboard that their plane was part of a coordinated attack unfolding on the ground beneath them," organizers of the Tribeca Film Festival said on Wednesday.

The festival was founded by actor Robert De Niro in 2002 to help revitalize lower Manhattan after the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center.

Opening films in previous years have been comedies such as "About a Boy" and "Down with Love" as well as the thriller "The Interpreter" last year. This year's choice of "United 93" as the opening film returns the focus to Tribeca's roots.

"The festival was basically created eight months after September 11 and it was to give our neighborhood something to look forward to and to help the renewal, and to do that you need to laugh," the festival's co-founder Jane Rosenthal told Reuters.

"We found ourselves for several years saying we need a comedy. In year five, we need to remember," she said.

Written and directed by Paul Greengrass, director of "The Bourne Supremacy," the film is billed as a drama about the passengers, crew, their families on the ground and the flight controllers who watched as events unfold on the fourth airline hijacked on September 11, 2001.

Two of the planes crashed into the World Trade Center and the third into the Pentagon. Passengers on the fourth plane sent messages to loved ones saying the plane had been hijacked and they were going to try to overcome the hijackers.

Rosenthal said that after nearly five years there was a danger the events of September 11 were fading from people's memories. "A lot has happened in the world and as a country we seem to have a short term memory loss," she said.

Some of the relatives of those who died on United 93 are expected to attend the premiere in New York on April 25, the first night of the festival which runs until May 7.

"It is never easy to relive the events of 9/11, yet I support 'United 93' as a tribute to the heroism of my brother and the 39 other passengers and crew who collectively chose to say 'no' on that fateful day," Gordon Felt, who lost his brother Edward on September 11, said in a statement.

The films in competition at the festival include several with political themes, particularly related to the Middle East and the war in Iraq.

"We're a festival that was started because of an act of war, so we have always had films and panel discussions that bring up difficult subjects," Rosenthal said.

Wild Thing's comment........
Just a little I would like to share about that day with all of you.
My husband and I have a nephew that is a firefighter in New York. He lost 2 chiefs and 11 other firefighters from his fire station. 5 of those I mention here of the 11 fellow fire fighters that died on 9-11 had visited us and stayed at our home several times when they came to visit us when we lived in California. They became friends of ours as well. Mike Moran and his brother were two of the friends we made from our nephews station.

Remember when Mike Moran was in the audience at Madison Square Garden, shortly before his turn to go up on stage to introduce a band. He detested Hillary and was a big Bush supporter. Then Hillary got up to speak and was booed. Mike's remarks became well known around the world........."Kiss my royal Irish ass!"
After his comments the crowd went wild, and as Moran tried to walk off stage the stage manager pushed him back out. So, he said, he went back over to the microphone and took off his hat, and said, "This is so you can see my face," and called Bin Laden a bitch.

The crowd responded by chanting USA.

I pray it is like they say, that this film will be true and honest in what happened and not slanted to please the left. A film to pay tribute to those heroes on Flight 93 and to their families.

Push 1 For English ~ Push 2 For Deported

Apathy Is Dangerous For Our Country and To Our Freedom

Thoughts to ponder

How Long Do We Have?

About the time our original 13 states adopted their new constitution, in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.
From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the worlds greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
1. From bondage to spiritual faith;
2. From spiritual faith to great courage;
3. From courage to liberty;
4. From liberty to abundance;
5. From abundance to complacency;
6. From complacency to apathy;
7. From apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back into bondage "

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Population of counties won by: Gore: 127 million; Bush: 143 million;
Square miles of land won by: Gore: 580,000; Bush: 2,427,000 States won by: Gore: 19 Bush: 29
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by Gore: 13.2 Bush: 2.1

Professor Olson adds:

"In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the tax-paying citizens. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements living off government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency & apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some 40 percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

Pass this along to help everyone realize that apathy is also one the greatest danger to our freedom.

Thank you Robert H. for the Video of this!

Rush Limbaugh VIDEO of transcript below....< ...here

Rush Limbaugh transcript quote:

“All right, immigration proposals under discussion. Let me add mine to the mix. I want to call this proposal the Limbaugh Laws. …First, if you immigrate to the United States of America, you must speak the native language. You have to be a professional or an investor. [America is] not going to take unskilled workers…There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, no government business will be conducted in your native language. Foreigners will not have the right to vote…nor will they ever be allowed to hold political office. According to the Limbaugh Laws, if you're in our country, you cannot be a burden to taxpayers. You are not entitled, ever, to welfare, to food stamps, or other government goodies. You can come if you invest here, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage. If you don't know have that amount of money, you can't come and invest. You have to stay home. If you do come and you want to buy land, okay, but we're going to restrict your options. You will not be allowed to buy waterfront property in the United States. That will be reserved for citizens naturally born in this country.”

“In fact, as a foreigner, you must relinquish individual rights to property… Another thing. You don't have the right to protest when you come here. You're allowed no demonstrations, you cannot wave a foreign flag, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies, or you get sent home. You're a foreigner. You shut your mouth or you get out, and if you come here illegally, you go straight to jail and we're going to hunt you down 'til we find you.” End of quote.

Now guess what those laws that Rush did a great job describing, are actual laws of Mexico, today. I just read you Mexican immigration law. That's how the Mexican government handles immigrants to their country!!!! And Rush did a great job putting it like that to show how different it is here.

1860: "But if we can't have our African slaves, who will pick the cotton?"

2006: "But if we can't have our illegal aliens, who will pick the lettuce?"

It was wrong then, and it's wrong now!

Al Qaeda link In Utah?

Al Qaeda link in Utah?

According to a copyrighted article in the Salt Lake Tribune, counterterrorist agents arrested five men on Wednesday. One of the men was aprehended in the Cottonwood Heights area of Salt Lake, and the other for men were arrested in California.

The men were arrested and idicted as part of an investigation into the U.S. connections of a suspected senior al-Qaida operative imprisoned in Iraq, according to the Tribune article.

For now, the federal indictments against the men - all of whom have ties to Utah and all of whom are related to accused terrorist Shawqi Omar - involve only fraud and money laundering. But FBI agents say that some of the money alleged to have been stolen in various schemes wound up in Jordan. And now they want to know whether that cash has ended up in the hands of terrorists.

According to an FBI agent working with the Terrorism Task Force in Utah, the Omar family has extensive ties in Jordan, where Shawqi Omar moved his family in 1995 and where he now stands accused of helping terrorist mastermind Abu Masab al-Zarqawi plot a chemical attack.

ATTITUDES towards Arabs, Muslims and Islam in the US are troubling and have not been improving over the last few years, Arab-American academic Dr Shehata has stated, quoting results of a number of opinion polls conducted in the US.
“A high percentage of Americans hold negative attitudes toward Islam, and many Americans believe that Islam - more than other religions - encourages violence,” he told Gulf Times.

According to the Washington Post/ABC News polls, the percentage of Americans who hold unfavourable views of Islam has risen over the last three years.

In the immediate aftermath of 9/11, 39% of those polled stated that they held unfavourable views of Islam. This figure dropped to a low of 24% by January 2002 but has been steadily increasing ever since.

In the most recent Washington Post/ABC News poll released in March 2006, 46% of Americans said they held unfavourable views of Islam.

There is less variation in the polling data regarding American opinion about Islam and violence. All of the various polling data confirm that a high percentage of Americans believe that Islam - more than other religions - encourages violence.

A USA Today/Gallup Poll conducted last summer, for example, found that 53% of respondents favoured “requiring all Arabs, including US citizens, to undergo special, more intensive security checks before boarding airplanes in the US” and 46% favoured “requiring Arabs, including US citizens, to carry a special ID.”

The coverage of the Middle East and the Muslim World in the US is dominated by the Iraq war, Osama bin Laden, Abu Musab al Zarqawi, terrorism and beheadings.

“This type of bad or negative news dominates coverage and Islam, in the process, becomes synonymous with jihad; jihad, of course, understood in a particular way: as irrational, unjustified, religiously based violence, usually against non-Muslims.”

Wild Thing's comment......
"46% of Americans said they had an unfavorable view of islam"

They must have polled a lot of the left ( Democrats/liberals) I think the number would be a heck of a lot higher.

“A high percentage of Americans hold negative attitudes toward Islam, and many Americans believe that Islam - more than other religions - encourages violence,” he told Gulf Times."

Lip service by the Islam organizations belie the actions of Islam. Iran is a good example of Islam's hatred for everything and anybody not Muslim.

Muslims do things like riot over cartoons that have been out for 4 or 5 months before they riot, causing deaths. Maybe it is because over 90 percent of terrorists in the world are muslims and, just maybe, because muslims drove airplanes into the world trade center and the pentagon and caused another plane to crash killing all on board on 9/11. Most of the terror and atrocities are committed by muslims, not arabs per se, but definately muslims

Congresswoman's Son Sentenced For Slashing GOP Tires

Congresswoman's son sentenced for slashing GOP tires

MILWAUKEE, WI (AP) -- A congresswoman's son and three Democratic campaign workers were sentenced Wednesday to four to six months in jail for slashing tires outside a Bush-Cheney campaign office on Election Day 2004.

The men pleaded no contest in January to misdemeanor property damage. A fifth worker was found not guilty.

"This case had to be a public example of what can happen when you interfere with voters' rights," said Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Michael Brennan, who rejected prosecutors' recommendation of probation for the four men.

The state Republican Party had rented more than 100 vehicles to give rides to voters and poll monitors on November 2, 2004. The cars were parked outside a GOP campaign office when the tires were punctured. The vandalism left the drivers scrambling for new vehicles.

Among those sentenced Wednesday were Sowande A. Omokunde, the son of Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wisconsin, and Michael Pratt, the son of former acting Milwaukee Mayor Marvin Pratt.

"I love my son very much. I'm very proud of him," Moore said. "He's accepted responsibility."

Omokunde was sentenced to four months in jail; Pratt and Lewis Caldwell of Milwaukee were sentenced to six months; and Lavelle Mohammad of Milwaukee was sentenced to five months. All were granted work-release privileges.

Brennan also ordered them to pay a $1,000 fine each, in addition to the $5,317 in total restitution ordered earlier.

The four could have faced up to nine months in jail term and fines of $10,000.

Wisconsin's 10 electoral votes in the 2004 election ended up going to Democrat John Kerry.

Wild Thing's comment......

The 'Rats are beyond disgusting - ALL of them.

Should not the congresswoman say how disappointed she is in her son for taking part in such an act of thuggery? I'm sure most tires are registered to vote Democrat, and their turnout on election is nearly 110%.

"nine months in jail term".......wow pigs really do fly.

Hmmmmm Tires have party affiliation:
GOP tires are B.F. Goodrich, Goodyear & Uniroyal.
Dem tires are Bridgestone / Firestone
Pinko-Commie tires are Dunlop
One World Globalist tires are Michelin & Yokahama
Greens don't use tires

Two ROTC buildings vandalized
Vandals spray slogans and spread paint on N.C. State and UNC-CH structures

Vandals staged attacks early Wednesday on the buildings used by the Reserve Officers' Training Corps at N.C. State University and UNC-Chapel Hill, echoing similar assaults on three Triangle recruiting stations last month. As before, vandals sprayed anti-war slogans and profanity, splashed red paint and claimed responsibility with a mass e-mail message to area media outlets.

Lt. Col. Carol Ann Redfield of the Army ROTC program at N.C. State was caught off guard. "This is the first time I know of that anything like this has happened here," she said. "I certainly appreciate that people have different opinions, and they should be able to express them, but I have a problem when they damage property."

The e-mail, from someone calling himself "celest ialbeing" said, "Stop these recruitment centers that target poor people and people of color to fight to maintain the power structure that (literally and figuratively) imprisons us daily."

The vandals sprayed slogans at the base of an entrance to Reynolds Coliseum, which holds the Department of Military Science, and tossed paint onto an ROTC sign above the entrance.

Investigators had good leads, said Sgt. Jon Barnwell of the N.C. State Police Department.

At UNC-Chapel Hill, campus police spokesman Randy Young said investigators were aware of the e-mail and the link with the attack at N.C. State. "We're certainly looking into that," he said. Investigators think the UNC Naval Armory was attacked between 4 and 5:30 a.m.

A student who signs up for ROTC mixes military training with regular classes and can get help with college costs in return for serving as an officer after graduation.

It is not clear whether the attacks were related to incidents in March at recruiting offices in Durham and Raleigh, but the subject line on the e-mail message Wednesday was "more red paint and anti-war."

The attacks Wednesday were coordinated, but that doesn't mean they were well-planned.

At UNC, the vandals used spray paint for slogans but chose a 5-gallon bucket of water-soluble red paint to splash the landing, columns and steps. A cleanup crew blasted it off with a pressure washer.

"Thank goodness they used water-based paint," said Angelo Baldwin, a crew member. The slogans -- including "we won't fight your wars!" -- also were removed quickly, but the doors must be repainted.

At N.C. State, the slogan "Army ROTC trains murderers resist acts of war" was sprayed in a place all but invisible to passers-by. The vandals' arsenal also included another puzzling choice: Christmas tree ornaments, which were apparently tossed at the ROTC sign.

Wild Thing comments.......

Today driving home from work the car in front of me had three stickers on it.
1. a sticker with a photo of Bush saying ( clueless/ war criminal)
2. Would someone please give Bush a blow job so we can impeach him
3. I am a Democrat and a Christian

My reply is this
1. Bush is not clueles nor a war criminal
2. Clinton is and was a criminal and Monicagate was only one thing that disgraced the Oval Office that the Clinton's did.
3. A Democrat that is aiding the enemy and I would not recommend putting one foot on our property if you value your life.

Regarding the vandalism that Democrats/Lefties love to do at the ROTC, and other military places, because of their loathing of the military, KISS MY ASS!

Iran Buys Surface-to-Surface Missiles ~ Hello Europe

Iran buys surface-to-surface missiles capable of hitting Europe

Israel Defense Forces Intelligence Branch, Major General Amos Yadlin

Iran has purchased surface-to-surface missiles from North Korea with a range of 2,500 kilometers, the head of the Israel Defense Forces Intelligence Branch, Major General Amos Yadlin, said Wednesday.

While Iran already possessed missiles capable of reaching Israel, the new weapons pose a threat for countries in Europe and parts of the Middle East that have now come into Iranian range.

Some of the missiles have already arrived in Iran, Yadlin said in a lecture in memory of Israel's sixth president Haim Herzog, who was also head of the IDF Intelligence Branch. The missiles are known in the West as BM-25s, operate on liquid fuel and are single-stage. The BM-25 was originally manufactured in the Soviet Union, where the first generation, adapted for use by Soviet submarines and able to carry a nuclear warhead, was known as the SSN6. After the Russians retired the missiles from service, they sold them to the North Koreans, who developed them to carry a heavier payload.

With this purchase the Iranians have leap-frogged over their Shihab-4 missile with its range of 2,000 kilometers.

Iran worked for years on the development of the Shihab-3, which has a range of 1,300 kilometers, and conducted numerous tests. They also developed a cone with improved ability to enter the atmosphere, which meant it was more accurate.

The fact that the Shihab-3, when fired from certain areas of Iran, could hit Israel, spurred Israel on in its development of the Arrow missile, which can intercept the Shihab-3.

The Iranians are known to be at the early stages of developing two more long-range missiles. However American intelligence sources say Iran is at an advanced stage of developing a missile that can carry a nuclear warhead.

The United States has informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of the details of the Iranian missile program.

North Korea has longer range missiles that have been tested a number of times outside its borders. In one case a missile flew over Japanese airspace during a test.

Wild Thing's comment......
I say start dropping Bibles and Christian tracts on Iran 24 hours a day and broadcast "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" on every commercial radio frequency used within Iran.

Iran Threatens To Strike At U.S. Targets If Attacked

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei speaks to workers in Tehran April 26, 2006. REUTERS/IRNA

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran vowed on Wednesday to strike at U.S. interests worldwide if it is attacked by the United States, which is keeping military options open in case diplomacy fails to curb Tehran's nuclear program.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei made the threat two days before the U.N. nuclear watchdog reports on whether Iran is meeting Security Council demands to halt uranium enrichment.

Iran says it will not stop enrichment, which it says is purely for civilian purposes and not part of what the United States says is a clandestine effort to make atomic bombs.

"The Americans should know that if they assault Iran their interests will be harmed anywhere in the world that is possible," Khamenei was quoted as saying by state television.
"The Iranian nation will respond to any blow with double the intensity," he said.

Washington, backed by Britain and France, has been pushing for sanctions if, as it expects, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reports that Iran has flouted U.N. demands.

But Russia and China, the U.N. Security Council's other two veto-holding permanent members, oppose any embargo.

The IAEA has said that after three years of investigation it still cannot confirm that Iran's aims are entirely peaceful, although it has found no hard proof of a military program.

200 Burka Babes Take On Fitness Gym

(Photo by David P. Gilkey/Associated Press)
Angry: Arrwa Mogalli (left) and Ammerah Saidi, both of Dearborn, stand in front of the Fitness USA gym in Lincoln Park.

LINCOLN PARK, Mich.

About 200 Muslim women have asked the Fitness USA workout chain to honor what they say was its promise to provide separate exercise times for women and men. They say they need single-sex workout times to accommodate Islam's standards of modesty.

Arrwa Mogalli, 28, of Dearborn, Michigan, said that she agreed to buy a $1,465 lifetime membership with the chain after being promised that its Lincoln Park facility would be open only to women on certain days.

This month, the gym in this southern Detroit suburb decided to open up a new part of the center to both sexes every day.

Mogalli is among about 200 women with Fitness USA memberships who have signed a petition asking the chain to restore single-sex exercise days for the entire gym or to put up a divider so men and women cannot see each other while exercising.

The company is reviewing the women's concerns, said Jodi Berry, administrative director for Fitness USA. But the company said that the women's written contracts say nothing about gender.

What the gym offers:

And this is their main site.

Wild Thing's comment....

Sure CAIR praised the decision, they are terrorists huggers.

I guess to be literal it does say they have seperated areas. But by gosh oh golly I guess I just will never understand this get undressed in the closet mentality no matter what so called religion it is.

Why are we accomodating these idiots? Just more Moooooooslim appeasement... instead of having them assimilating to western society our country kisses their burka butts.

I belong to Gold's gym, but aren't there workout places around like Curves etc. that are just for women only.
Don't the veils, towels on their heads and masks get in the way of exercising? If they don't like the facilities why don't they open their own bloody gym and run it any way they like?

Prices, location, management, the gym's design, the gym's equipment, hours, etc., etc., all may change without notice. This is how capitalism has always worked. They need to go back home where their way of doing things has perpetually kept them locked up in the 7th Century.

Incrementalism.

Muslim Student Union in Calif. ~ Enemy Within

.

2004 the Muslim Student Union (MSU) of University of California-Irvine asked graduating Muslim students to wear green sashes bearing the word "shahada," the Arabic word for "martyrdom." The Muslim world refers to a suicide bomber who kills innocent civilians in Israel as a "shahid."

USC Muslim Student Union Slips Into Open Anti-Semitism

Not-so-subtle anti-Semitic jokes are a little too tame for USC's Muslim Student Union listserv. In response to some USC Jewish groups' Holocaust memorials. of the MSU's listserv have posted some of the following charming contributions. This is just one of them. All misspellings and grammatical cleverness is in the originals.

holocust schmolocost..... that whole thing drives me nuts. there arent that many holicost surviviers. most of those guys havent experienced anything -- except possibly excess. its a tool the zionists use... but to be honest wonder how effective it is these days

The Muslim Student Union is, of course, a university-sanctioned organization whose elected representatives represent USC Muslims to the University and to the community. How could such an environment emerge? On UC Irvine's campus, the administration has told campus Jewish leaders that they are not to refer to themselves as Zionists because that will "undermine dialogue" with Muslims on campus.

NOTE: look at feet in photo!

.

Ahmadinejad: Iran will not back down “an iota” on nukes

Tehran, Iran, Apr. 26 –Iran’s hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic would not back down “an iota” in its nuclear standoff with the West.

“Regarding the Iranian nation’s nuclear rights we are not willing to back down an iota”, Ahmadinejad told reporters at a joint press conference with Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir.

“The [International Atomic Energy] Agency was obliged under the Non-Proliferation Treaty to respect our nuclear rights and assist our country in obtaining peaceful technology”, he said, adding that the UN nuclear agency had “failed” to live up to its obligations.

He warned the West that Tehran would ignore “incorrect decisions” being imposed on it by the IAEA and the United Nations Security Council.

“An unjust decision by the international community on Iran’s nuclear program has no legitimacy for Iran even if it comes through the Security Council or other international organisations”, the hard-line President said.

The West was carrying out a psychological war against Iran to gain concessions, he added.

In March, the Security Council adopted a “Presidential Statement” unanimously giving Iran until April 28 to suspend all of its uranium enrichment activities and resume its cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog.

Greenpeace Ads to Target Ted Kennedy ~ LOL

Please CLICK above to watch the little video

.

Greenpeace targeting Kennedy

The infamous environmental group Greenpeace is targeting Sen. Ted Kennedy for opposing a wind farm in the Nantucket Sound because it would interfere with the view from his Hyannisport mansion.

Greenpeace is launching a nationwide TV ad campaign against Kennedy, with spots that portray the Massachusetts Democrat as Godzilla.

The Cape Cod Times reports:

"In the 30-second spot, a cartoon Kennedy looms over the water like a Japanese movie monster, pounding wind turbines as they sprout from the water, and barks, 'I might see them from my mansion on the Cape.'"

Kennedy's nephew, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is a leading environmentalist who urges Americans to cut back on energy consumption and who blamed Bush environmental policies for Hurricane Katrina. But he, too, opposes the wind farm in Nantucket Sound - going so far as to argue that it would cause pollution.

By running the ads, Greenpeace hopes to torpedo an amendment to a Coast Guard bill that would make a proposed Nantucket wind farm vulnerable to state veto.

"'We've targeted the Senate because we need leaders to stop this amendment before it can even be voted," Greenpeace spokesgal Kate Smolski told the Times.

.

Wild Thing's comment.....

There once was a Senator from Nantucket.
who drank gin by the bucket.............

Kennedy is a huge enviro jerk and he only cares about stopping this because it is to be in his own backyard. If it was in Joe Schmo's backyard Kennedy would be pushing hard for this.

Kerry Said Our Troops Don’t Know How To Drive

.

Kerry went from praising CIA traitor Mary McCarthy, to calling US soldiers idiots for getting blown up by IED’s. Kerry believes the deaths in Iraq are caused by the US Soldiers inability to “drive a truck.”

But there is no excuse three and a half years later for American troops to be driving by IEDs and getting blown up. Are you telling me that they can’t drive a truck?

John Kerry Said: Our Troops Don’t Know How To Drive (VIDEO)

In the Vietnam era, he testified against US soldiers and called them war criminals. Today, he calls them terrorists who brutalize women and children in the night. These are the things he’s brazen enough to say in public.

Holocaust Day of Remembrance

April 25, 2006, is a day of remembrance for six million Jews who perished during the Holocaust

.

.

.

The United States Congress established the Days of Remembrance as our nation’s annual commemoration of the victims of the Holocaust, and created the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum as a permanent living memorial to those victims.

This year, the Days of Remembrance fall between Sunday, April 23, and Sunday, April 30, 2006, with Holocaust Remembrance Day observed on April 25. The theme for this year’s commemoration is “Legacies of Justice,” in honor of the courage of, and the precedents set by, those who testified during the trials of Nazi war criminals. The theme also pays tribute to those who tirelessly work for the cause of justice, both then and now.

Today, more than ever before, individual and communal willingness to seek justice after the Holocaust serves as a powerful example of how our nation can – and must – respond to unprecedented crimes. We must vigorously pursue justice for the victims of such acts of hatred and inhumanity, not only for their sake but for the sake of present and future generations.

The Holocaust was an unprecedented crime – millions of murders, wrongful imprisonments, and tortures, rape, theft, and destruction. In the immediate aftermath of the Holocaust, the world was faced with a challenge – how to seek justice for an almost unimaginable scale of criminal behavior. The International Military Tribunal (IMT) held at Nuremberg, Germany, attempted to meet this immense challenge on a legal basis. This year, we mark the 60th anniversary of the IMT.

Nazi Germany planned and implemented the Holocaust under the cover of World War II. It was in this context that the IMT was created, a trial of judgment for war crimes. The IMT was not a court convened to mete out punishment for the Holocaust alone. The tribunal was designed to document and redress crimes committed in the course of the most massive conflict the world has ever known.

The Holocaust was, in the legal language of the IMT, “a crime against humanity.” Convened within months of the end of the war, from November 20, 1945, until the verdicts were delivered on October 1, 1946, the tribunal at Nuremberg set precedents: in international law, in documentation of the historical record – in seeking some beginning, however inadequate, in a search for justice.

.

Wild Thing's comment......

We must never forget what happened in those six years. We must not forget the six million who left us. However, I believe that we must also remember that despite his best efforts, Hitler was NOT able to annihilate the entire Jewish people. Though the numbers have been reduced, Israel is still a living, thriving nation.

There are troubling parallels between the systematic vilification of Jews before the Holocaust and the current vilification of the Jewish people and Israel. Suffice it to note the annual flood of anti-Israel resolutions at the UN; or the public opinion polls taken in Europe, which single out Israel as a danger to world peace; or the divestment campaigns being waged in the US against Israel; or the attempts to delegitimize Israel’s very existence.

The complicity of the Allies in WW II is mirrored by the support the PLO has been receiving from Europe, China and Russia to this very day.

If remembering Auschwitz should teach us anything, it is that we must all support Israel and the Jewish people
against the vilification and the complicity we are witnessing, knowing where it inevitably leads.

U.S. Air Force Reply To UC Santa Cruz Students Against War

On my other post about Santa Cruz I had commented back to someone that had commented about this subject as the person said my mentioning Veterans along with our troops today and the recruiters was not accurate. That what the protesters did was only directed at the recruiters.

My reply was:
"There is a Brotherhood of those that served and those that serve today and cannot be separated. It is a Brotherhood that ONLY those that have served can be a part of.
So when you see protest toward our military of today you damn well better know it is not selective at just those now....."

The a Major in the U.S. Air Force also has something to say to UC Santa Cruz Students Against War, who organized the counter-recruiting protest and their attacks on Michelle Malkin.

In defense of Malkin vs. UC Santa Cruz

Former CIA Officer Mary O. McCarthy Rescinding Her Confession

.

A former colleague says the fired Mary McCarthy ‘categorically denies’ being the source of the leak on agency renditions.

The fired official, Mary O. McCarthy, “categorically denies being the source of the leak,” one of McCarthy’s friends and former colleagues, Rand Beers, said Monday after speaking to McCarthy. Beers said he could not elaborate on this denial and McCarthy herself did not respond to a request for comment left by NEWSWEEK on her home answering machine.

A national security advisor to Democratic Party candidate John Kerry during the 2004 presidential campaign, Beers worked as the head of intelligence programs on President Bill Clinton’s National Security Council staff and later served as a top deputy on counter-terrorism for President Bush in 2002 and 2003. McCarthy, a career CIA analyst, initially worked as a deputy to Beers on the NSC and later took over Beer’s role as the Clinton NSC’s top intelligence expert.

Santa Cruz, Calif. Loathes Our Military

Bringing this to the top because it is still a hot topic.

.

.

.

Military recruiters left a campus job fair when about 60 student and faculty anti-war demonstrators showed up outside the event at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Four recruiters from the Army and Army National Guard left after an hour-long standoff Tuesday at the College 8 West Field House.

“The recruiters thought the crowd was getting out of control,” campus vice chancellor David Kliger said.

One student protester was arrested as the recruiters were departing in a van. While a campus police officer was videotaping a person throwing rocks at the van, a student blocked the camera and was cited for interfering with police duties, campus spokesman Jim Burns.

Anti-war protesters at university block doors to building.

Members of Students Against War, who organized the counter-recruiting protest, loudly chanted "Don't come back. Don't come back" as the recruiters left the hilltop campus, escorted by several university police officers.

"The situation had degraded to the point where there was a possibility of injury to either a student or law enforcement officer. We certainly didn't want that to happen,'' said Capt. Will Griffin, one of the Army recruiters.

University officials had been aware for weeks that Students Against War planned a protest to prevent military personnel from participating in the school's biannual job fair held for students.

The student organization has become a bit of a cause celebre of the national anti-war movement ever since it was discovered that the group's protest of the same job fair last April landed it in a Pentagon surveillance file, which listed the protest as a "credible threat" to military facilities or personnel.

Universities that receive federal funds are required to allow military recruiters on campus. But campus officials had worried that Tuesday's protest would get out of hand as it had last April, when Students Against War protesters surrounded the table where military personnel sat, and hundreds of other demonstrators engaged in an angry protest outside. Some of the recruiters reported that their tires had been slashed and one employee at the career center was injured.

They will NEVER know the pride in ones heart for those that have served our country and for those that serve today. That feeling that I get as though my heart will burst from the pride I have in our military and our Veterans. They will go through life never really living only existing and wasted lives each and every one of them. They are my enemy and the enemy of this country.

Iran Says Nuclear Work Is “irreversible”

Tehran, Iran, Apr. 23 – Iran declared on Sunday that it would ignore demands by the United Nations Security Council to freeze its uranium enrichment activities, saying that its sensitive nuclear work was “irreversible”.

“Iran’s uranium enrichment activities are irreversible”, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi told reporters during his weekly press conference.
“Suspension of nuclear research and development activities by the Islamic Republic of Iran is more an issue for the press”, Asefi said.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran will not forego its rights, which must be recognised”, he added.

Commenting on whether Iran would accept a Russian proposal aimed at breaking the international deadlock, he said that Iran would not abandon its right to enrich uranium on its own soil.

On Saturday, Iran's ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency said that Iran had a “basic agreement” with Russia to enrich uranium on Russian soil, but added that details had yet to be worked out.

Moscow has proposed a deal whereby Iran would enrich uranium exclusively on Russian soil. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman clarified on Sunday that Tehran would not be willing to abandon uranium enrichment on Iranian soil.

“The issue of suspension is not on our agenda”, Asefi said.

The Security Council adopted a “Presidential Statement” unanimously on March 29 giving Iran 30 days to suspend all of its uranium enrichment activities and resume its cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog.

Wrong Number Great Deal For Our Troops

Wrong number: Interpreter answers cell phone, dupes insurgents

Mideast edition

IBRAHIM AL MARKHUR, Iraq — One misplaced cell phone and one savvy interpreter equaled one dead insurgent, several pieces of intelligence and a whole lot of captured weapons.

On a routine patrol, U.S. troops with 1st Battalion, 68th Armor came upon a house in the midst of dense greenery and at the end of a dusty country road.

Staff Sgt. Matthew Nicodemus, 33, said he immediately noticed that no Iraqi men were around.

Suddenly, a cell phone inside the home rang, said Nicodemus, of Altoona, Pa.

“The interpreter went in and answered the phone, and on the other end of the phone the person said, in Arabic, ‘Hey, coalition forces are here, go ahead and run away,’ and he specifically said, ‘Go and run into the palm groves all around here,’ ” Nicodemus said.

The troops then fanned out into the palm groves and found several weapons including several rocket-propelled grenades and hand grenades, two AK-47s and a new sniper’s rifle, Nicodemus said.

They also found a hand-written map of a U.S. military base, diagrams on how to build rockets and a CD-ROM with several thousand files written in Arabic, said Sgt. 1st Class Michael Greer, 35, of San Luis Obispo, Calif.

If that weren’t enough, the insurgent kept calling the interpreter back to ask what the Americans were doing.

The interpreter kept the act going.

“He’s basically acting like, you know, he’s watching us ... making sure everything is fine,” Nicodemus said.

The U.S. troops knew the insurgents were coming back and decided to lie in wait for them.

Many troops said they were psyched by the prospect of killing the person on the other end of the phone.

“I love this expletive,” said Sgt. Nicholas Hake-Jordan, 23, of Springfield, Ore.

The troops didn’t have to wait long.

Shortly after U.S. troops set up, the insurgents called the interpreter and said they would be by in about 10 minutes to attack the Americans, said Staff Sgt. Art Hoffman, 30.

When seven insurgents got to the house, they ran into a wall of U.S. fire, said Hoffman, of Baltimore.

“The first guy that came in the door just dropped like a rock. The other two guys behind him got hit pretty hard, too. The rest grabbed their wounded and just ran back off,” said Hoffman.

One insurgent was confirmed killed in the fighting and the other two were in bad shape, he said.

Afterward, the battalion commander, Lt. Col. Thomas Fisher, 42, praised his soldiers’ actions.

“The initiative demonstrated at the platoon level is exactly how you win this fight,” said Fisher, of Sioux Falls, S.D.

Hanoi Kerry Says It Is Hard To Have a View On CIA Officer

KERRY: 'IF YOU'RE LEAKING TO TELL THE TRUTH...' Sun Apr 23 2006 09:58:06 ET

Former presidential candidate John Kerry has come to the defense of a fired CIA officer accused of disclosing classified information to the press.

"I'm glad she told the truth but she's going to obviously -- if she did it, if she did it, suffer the consequences of breaking the law,' Kerry explained to ABC THIS WEEK.

MORE

ABC 'THIS WEEK' HOST GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: On another -- on another front, excuse me, CIA official Mary McCarthy lost her job this week for disclosing classified information according to the CIA probably about a WASHINGTON POST story which reveal revealed the existence of secret prisons in Europe. A lot of different views. Senator Pat Roberts praised action but some former CIA officers described Mary McCarthy as a sacrificial lamb acting in the finest American tradition by revealing human rights violations. What's your view?

SEN. KERRY: Well, I read that. I don't know whether she did it or not so it's hard to have a view on it. Here's my fundamental view of this, that you have somebody being fired from the CIA for allegedly telling the truth, and you have no one fired from the white house for revealing a CIA agent in order to support a lie. That underscores what's really wrong in Washington, DC Here.

STEPHANOPOULOS: That's one issue of hypocrisy but should a CIA officer be able to make decisions on his or her --

KERRY: ... Of course not. Of course, not. A CIA agent has the obligation to uphold the law and clearly leaking is against the law, and nobody should leak. I don't like leaking. But if you're leaking to tell the truth, Americans are going to look at that, at least mitigate or think about what are the consequences that you, you know, put on that person. Obviously they're not going to keep their job, but there are other larger issues here. You know, classification in Washington is a tool that is used to hide the truth from the American people. Daniel Patrick Moynihan was eloquent and forceful in always talking about how we needed to, you know, end this endless declassification that takes place in this city, and it has become a tool to hide the truth from Americans.

STEPHANOPOULOS: These --

SEN. KERRY: So I'm glad she told the truth but she's going to obviously -- if she did it, if she did it, suffer the consequences of breaking the law.

END

Mr "Winter Soldier" on Patriotism ~ STFU Kerry

.

Wartime Dissent Is Part Of Patriotism, Kerry Says

Sunday, April 23, 2006; Page A04

Thirty-five years after Massachusetts Sen. John F. Kerry (D) appeared before a Senate committee to call for an end to the war in Vietnam, he defended that decision yesterday in a speech in his home town and linked it to his current insistence on an early drawdown of troops from Iraq.

Kerry, in remarks delivered in Boston's Faneuil Hall Marketplace, cast dissent in wartime as a patriotic act -- a response to Republican critics who insist that questioning the conduct of the war in Iraq emboldens America's enemies.

"I believed then, just as I believe now, that it is profoundly wrong to think that fighting for your country overseas and fighting for your country's ideals at home are contradictory or even separate duties," he said. "They are, in fact, two sides of the very same patriotic coin."

Yesterday's address was the latest move in Kerry's shadow presidential campaign, launched in the aftermath of his 2004 defeat by President Bush. In a series of speeches, guest columns and television appearances, Kerry has sought to right what many Democrats regard as the defects of that race by outlining a clear exit strategy for Iraq and vowing to fight back against GOP attacks on his and other Democrats' patriotism. Kerry's aggressive attitude is also aimed at wooing liberal voters for a potential presidential bid in 2008.

Beginning last fall, Kerry has advocated setting a timeline for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq. Recently, he said that if an Iraqi government is not formed by May 15, the United States should immediately withdraw its forces.

"If Iraqis aren't willing to build a unity government in the five months since the election, they're probably not willing to build one at all," Kerry said.

Wild Thing's comment.......

Wartime dissent that consists of demonizing those doing the bleeding and dieing is not patriotic by any definition...except by those who hate our country. He can try to rationalize his behavior anyway he wants, but, the fact remains he is a traitor.

I guess the word "patriotism" is the next word to get whored-out and twisted around by the leftist's.

Rally at Israeli consulate features pictures of Muslim flags flying over White House

.

A New York rally by the Islamic Thinkers Society outside the Israeli consulate yesterday featured chants of "The mushroom cloud is on its way! The real holocaust is on its way!"

The demonstration by the Queens-based group was monitored by the Investigative Project on Terrorism whose members noted signs including "Islam will Dominate" and a picture with an Islamic flag flying over the White House.

Yesterday's rally was held in response to Monday’s Tel Aviv bombing that killed 9 and injured scores. While carrying signs including “Islam will Dominate” with a picture of an Islamic flag over the White House, the small but loud group of men chanted threatening slogans.

The chants were in Arabic and translated by the Investigative Project on Terrorism, headed by Steve Emerson, a former reporter for CNN.

Here are some excerpts from the chants:

Leader (in Arabic): "With our blood and our lives we will liberate al Aqsa!"

[The rest also respond in Arabic:] "With our blood and our lives we will liberate al Aqsa!

Israeli Zionists What do you say? The real Holocaust is on its way"

"Takbeer!"

Response: "Allahu Akbar!"

"Takbeer!"

Response: "Allahu Akbar!"

"Zionists, Zionists You will pay! The Wrath of Allah is on its way!

Israeli Zionists You shall pay! The Wrath of Allah is on its way!

The mushroom cloud is on its way! The real Holocaust is on its way!"

"Israel won't last long ... Indeed, Allah will repeat the Holocaust right on the soil of Israel"

"Takbeer!"

Response: "Allahu Akbar!"

And another chant:

No wonder they call you sons of apes and pigs because that’s what you are.

We know many government services are watching us
Such as the FBI…CIA…Mossad, Homeland Security…
We know we are getting on their nerves
And so are you….
So we say the hell with you!
May the FBI burn in Hell
CIA burn in Hell
Mossad burn in Hell
Homeland Security burn in hell!!

Islam will dominate the world
Islam is the only solution
Islam will dominate the world
Islam is the only solution
Takbeer!
La ilaha il Allah, Muhammad-ur Rasool Allah

Two F-16's Escort Suspect Airliner

Two F-16s from Buckley AFB scrambled to escort suspect airliner

April 22, 2006 (by Lieven Dewitte) - A passenger who claimed to have a bomb aboard a United Airlines flight was subdued by passengers as the California-bound plane was diverted to Denver International Airport. Two F-16 fighter jets from Buckley Air Force Base scrambled to escort the plane.

The A-320 Airbus heading to Sacramento, Calif., from Chicago. flew into Denver Friday. The F-16s followed to make sure nothing untoward was going to happen.

Jose Manuel Pelayo-Ortega tried to open an door on the Airbus A-320 en route from Chicago to Sacramento, Calif., and then claimed to have a bomb forcing the emergency landing in Denver.

The guy was arrested after the plane landed around 16.30h.

Fellow passengers on the plane subdued the man and three Secret Service agents on board heading between assignments helped detain him.

After the airliner landed, it taxied to a remote part of the airport where the passengers got off and were taken to the terminal.

None of the 138 passengers or six crew members was injured.

Authorities searched the aircraft for explosives and re-screened luggage and passengers before they reboarded the plane, which took off for its original destination around 19.30h.

The apparatus that could ultimately have lead to the plane with 138 passengers and six crew members being shot down - put in place after 911 - was fully operational Friday, with agencies that included the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Homeland Security on an open phone line monitoring the flight.

Had the plane "been judged as a threat by the highest levels of our government, they could make the decision to have the plane shot down," said Lt. Commander Sean Kelly, a spokesman for NORAD, a U.S.-Canadian military command based outside Colorado Springs that monitors missiles, aircraft and space objects and warns of threats.

President Bush would ultimately make the decision.

A "shoot-don't shoot" scenario didn't develop because the plane was following all FAA instructions. One of the last resorts would have included the fighter pilots either talking to or attempting to talk to the pilot of the airliner, which didn't happen Friday, Kelly said

Since Sept. 11, fighters have been scrambled or if already airborne diverted 2,300. The Transportation Security Administration said it did not have numbers on how many flights have been diverted.

C.I.A. Fires Senior Officer Over Leaks

The Central Intelligence Agency has dismissed a senior career officer for disclosing classified information to reporters, including material for Pulitzer Prize-winning articles in The Washington Post about the agency's secret overseas prisons for terror suspects, intelligence officials said Friday.

The C.I.A. would not identify the officer, but several government officials said it was Mary O. McCarthy, a veteran intelligence analyst who until 2001 was senior director for intelligence programs at the National Security Council, where she served under President Bill Clinton and into the Bush administration.

At the time of her dismissal, Ms. McCarthy was working in the agency's inspector general's office, after a stint at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, an organization in Washington that examines global security issues.

The dismissal of Ms. McCarthy provided fresh evidence of the Bush administration's determined efforts to stanch leaks of classified information. The Justice Department has separately opened preliminary investigations into the disclosure of information to The Post, for its articles about secret prisons, as well as to The New York Times, for articles last fall that disclosed the existence of a program of domestic eavesdropping without warrants supervised by the National Security Agency. Those articles were also recognized this week with a Pulitzer Prize.

She was given a polygraph examination, confronted about answers given to the polygraph examiner and confessed, the government officials said. On Thursday, she was stripped of her security clearance and escorted out of C.I.A. headquarters. Ms. McCarthy did not reply Friday evening to messages left by e-mail and telephone.

"A C.I.A. officer has been fired for unauthorized contact with the media and for the unauthorized disclosure of classified information," said a C.I.A. spokesman, Paul Gimigliano. "This is a violation of the secrecy agreement that is the condition of employment with C.I.A. The officer has acknowledged the contact and the disclosures."

Public records show that Ms. McCarthy contributed $2,000 in 2004 to the presidential campaign of John Kerry, the Democratic nominee.

TEXT: BERGER APPOINTS MCCARTHY SPECIAL ASSISTANT FOR INTELLIGENCE

"National Security Advisor Samuel R. Berger announced June 16 the appointment of Mary O'Neil McCarthy as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Intelligence Programs. She succeeds Rand Beers in that post, an announcement by the office of the White House Press Secretary said."

It appears that she worked directly with Sandy Burglar, probably rather closely if she was the "Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Intelligence Programs.

MSNBC: CIA officer fired after admitting leak
Officer allegedly failed polygraph, admitted giving reporter information
BREAKING NEWS

The leak pertained to stories on the CIA’s rumored secret prisons in Eastern Europe, sources told NBC. The information was allegedly provided to Dana Priest of the Washington Post, who wrote reports about CIA prisons in November 2005 and was awarded a Pulitzer Prize on Monday for her reporting.

Priest said she could not comment on the firing, which she said she learned about from NBC News.

Sources said the CIA believes McCarthy had more than a dozen unauthorized contacts with Priest. Information about subjects other than the prisons may have been leaked as well.

Separately, the Justice Department is investigating a New York Times stories about the National Security Agency’s domestic warrantless eavesdropping. Times reporter James Risen won a Pulitzer on Monday for his reporting on the issue.

Wild Thing's comment..........

Mary McCarthy is a die-hard Clintonista operative.
And look at this:
"(3) The report of the 9/11 Commission notes that the National Security staff reviewed the intelligence in April 2000 and concluded that the CIA's assessment of its intelligence on bin Laden and al-Shifa had been valid; the memo to Clinton on this was cosigned by Richard Clarke and Mary McCarthy, the NSC senior director for intelligence programs, who opposed the bombing of al-Shifa in 1998. The report also notes that in their testimony before the commission, Al Gore, Sandy Berger, George Tenet, and Richard Clarke all stood by the decision to bomb al-Shifa."

Let's see if she's persuaded to cooperate with the names of the other worms in her nest. My guess is she will, anyone crooked and slimy enough to sell out her country won't think twice about selling out a few members of her cohort. I'm guessing there are some nervous individuals right about now. By the very nature of her crime and the situation they can't possibly believe she'll keep her mouth shut.

I'm more and more convinced every day that we will be paying with our lives and treasure for many more years to come due to the absolute treachery and irresponsibility of the Clinton administration.

What a cesspool of inbred political hacks and saboteurs.

Well Said Oliver North

.

"All-Star Shame"

By: Oliver North

HANOI, VIETNAM -- Here in this former enemy capital, the government of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam operates a museum full of mementoes from the only war America ever fought in which U.S. troops won every battle -- but still lost the war. Among displays of captured U.S. military equipment, parts of shot-down aircraft and expended munitions are exhibits devoted to the American anti-war movement. The carping coterie of retired generals now blasting the war effort in Iraq -- and demanding Donald Rumsfeld's head -- ought to spend a few hours here before firing another salvo. It might make the tarnished brass hats think twice about whether their words aid and abet America's adversaries in the Global War on Terror.

We went to war with a flawed plan that didn't account for the hard work to build the peace after we took down the regime. We also served under a secretary of defense who didn't understand leadership, who was abusive, who was arrogant, who didn't build a strong team," said retired Army Maj. Gen. John Batiste. His sentiments are echoed by two other retired Army two-stars, Maj. Gen. Paul Eaton, and Maj. Gen. Charles Swannack.

"My sincere view is that the commitment of our forces to this fight was done with a casualness and swagger that are the special province of those who have never had to execute these missions -- or bury the results," said retired Marine Lt. Gen. Gregory Newbold, perhaps forgetting that the defense secretary served as a Navy fighter pilot. Retired Army Maj. Gen. John Riggs accused the White House and Pentagon of seeking military advice only "when it satisfies their agenda." Marine Gen. Anthony Zinni, former chief of U.S. Central Command said, "Poor military judgment has been used throughout this mission."

Set aside for a moment that these are all men who helped plan various aspects of the war they now say was poorly planned. With the exception of Zinni, who served as CENTCOM commander during the Clinton administration, they all accepted promotions to "serve" under Commander in Chief Bush and helped carry out a plan they now claim to be irreparably flawed. If the jawing generals felt then as they say they do now -- why didn't they just quit -- before their promotions and pay raises?

It's been done before. On April 21, 1980, Secretary of State Cyrus Vance tendered his resignation and privately confided to President Jimmy Carter, "I know how deeply you have pondered your decision on Iran. I wish I could support you in it. But for the reasons we have discussed I cannot." The secretary of state was referring to the mission -- three days later -- to rescue American hostages -- an operation he had steadfastly opposed. Unlike the "six-pack" of generals now castigating the war they helped plan and execute -- Vance had the integrity to make his views known during planning for the Iran operation -- and the courage to quit when the commander in chief decided to proceed over his objections.

That archaic combination of honor and fortitude is apparently absent from the current crop of retired generals shouting "Dump Don!" into any available microphone. They should be grateful that the Bush-phobic mainstream media is either ignorant of the ethical tradition exemplified by Vance -- or too lazy to research the inconsistencies in the generals' past and present positions on the war.

Zinni, making the round of talk shows to hawk his latest book, should be the most thankful of the bunch. The retired four-star now says, "There was no solid proof, that I ever saw, that Saddam had WMD." But in 2000, he testified before Congress, "Iraq remains the most significant near-term threat to U.S. interests in the Arabian Gulf region." He went on to say that "Iraq probably is continuing clandestine nuclear research, [and] retains stocks of chemical and biological munitions ... Even if Baghdad reversed its course and surrendered all WMD capabilities, it retains scientific, technical and industrial infrastructure to replace agents and munitions within weeks or months." Which Zinni are we to believe?

Perhaps it's unfair to expect equal measures of courage and character from senior officers in this age of political opportunism. After all, the modern "gold standard" for flag-officer fidelity was set back in 1992 by Adm. William J. Crowe. Appointed Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Command by Ronald Reagan in 1983, Crowe was subsequently named Chairman of the Joint Chiefs in 1985 -- a position he continued to hold under President George H.W. Bush -- a fellow naval officer and World War II hero. On retirement however, the admiral demonstrated his appreciation by endorsing and campaigning for William Jefferson Blythe Clinton. Clinton, showing far more gratitude than the admiral had for George H.W. Bush, appointed Crowe to be U.S. Ambassador to the Court of St. James in 1994.

Tough duty. With a role model like this, Don Rumsfeld has to wonder why more of his "all stars" haven't piled on. Meanwhile, the al Qaeda clipping service is assembling material for a war museum like the one here in Hanoi. Jane Fonda -- call the Pentagon.

Wild Thing's comment.........
All these people in the anti-war groups, all these Generals ( Democrats) attacking Donald Rumsfeld , Dean, Kerry, Kennedy, Pelosi, Dean, Reid, Clinton, Murtha Code Pink etc. everyone of them is aiding and abetting the enemy.

In the United States Senate, Ted Kennedy pontificates and calls the President of the United States a liar. Liberals proclaim to the world that our President is an evil and a deceitful man who led us into an immoral war under false pretenses. They insist that it's President Bush that's responsible for the deaths of young Americans in Iraq, overlooking the terrorists.

Perhaps the worst Secretary of State we have ever had, Madeleine Albright, goes on foreign soil and tells a receptive French populous that "US President George W. Bush's foreign policy is not good for America, not good for the world."

If you were Osama bin Laden or Saddam Hussein, which one would you cheer? If you belonged to al Qaeda or Hamas or Islamic Jihad, which party would you like to see in the White House. Al-Jazeera broadcast this: "I tell the American people we will continue fighting you and we will continue martyrdom operations inside and outside the United States until you stop your injustice, and you end your foolishness," he said. "Jihad must continue until an Islamic government is established." Bin Laden insinuates that if we just leave Iraq to him, all will be well. Give him Iraq and the war is over.

The terrorists want the weak back in office, so they can continue their war without obstruction. They will be able to carry out their attacks without fear. They will overrun Iraq after liberals turn tail and run, as they always do and the entire Middle East will belong to bin Laden. They will turn on Israel. At some point, even liberals will have to take a stand or surrender.

How N.O.W. Red Cow!

.

When: April 29th

Freaks N.O.W. organization's website ....HERE

N.O.W. encourages activists, supporters, friends, and family to prepare for a mass mobilization to call for an end to the war and to change the direction of our country. Join with progressives from women’s rights organizations, the peace movement, environmental groups, civil rights, labor, and religious communities on April 29, 2006 to march in New York City.

The march will kick off in Manhattan, just north of Union Square and proceed south along Broadway to Foley Square, where the Peace and Justice Festival will take place.

We cannot continue to allow the security and human rights conditions to further deteriorate in Iraq. We cannot stand by while U.S. corporations like Halliburton and Bechtel continue to receive contracts worth billions of dollars for reconstruction and other activities in Iraq. We cannot let our country continue toward a trillion dollar debt.

Our call, enough is enough.

Now is the time to give peace a chance. Now is the time to make a difference.

Organize to join the march. Organize to make a difference. Organize because our soldiers need to come home and because U.S. and Iraqi lives depend on it.
