President George W. Bush and Veterans Bike Ride for Wounded Warriors

President George W. Bush and Veterans Bike Ride for Wounded Warriors

Dr. Marc Siegel shared a remarkable experience he had this past weekend with veterans of Wounded Warriors and President George W. Bush. In Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Texas he joined the veterans and former president for a 100k mountain bike ride. The 20 veterans participating have all faced challenges and among the most common are traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder. President Bush said, “It’s an opportunity for me to say to our vets I care for you, I thank you, I honor you.”

Dr. Siegel said, “It was a deeply stirring experience … about mind over matter, about veterans who have been wounded, trying to get back to society, regain the new normal, overcoming post-traumatic stress, amputation … it’s clearly an inspiration and it’s helping the veterans to recover.”

Retired U.S. Navy service member Chris Goehner told Fox News, “The lowest point for me was definitely the night that I wanted to commit suicide. There was a lot of survivor’s guilt. … Having an event like this to help with the recovery and you know whether it be at the beginning or end of it, it’s just kind of this is what you’re working for.”

Major Daniel Gade lost his leg in Iraq and since then he has received his PhD and teaches at West Point. Living proof of mind over matter, Gade says, “My brain works fine, my hands work fine, you know, my wife still loves me so I don’t consider myself disabled. I just consider myself like, it’s just an inconvenience.”

Bush never ever used our troops for a photo-op like Obama has done. I love how G.W. truly loves and cares about our troops and Veterans and wounded warriors. They know it too.

I wonder what the count is so far on how many countries Obama and his administration have ended up putting our country on their angry list. If Obama had handled this better from day one this would not be an issue. But Obama sluffed it off like it was nothing.

Krauthammer: Joe Biden Holds “American Record For Wrong On The Most Issues In Foreign Affairs Ever"

Krauthammer: Joe Biden Holds “American Record For Wrong On The Most Issues In Foreign Affairs Ever”

The Vice President has been over the last 30 years holds the American record for wrong on the most issues in foreign affairs ever. And the list starts with the nuclear freeze in the early ’80s against Thatcher and Reagan and Cole which is one of the follies of the era. He supported it.

He was against aid to the Nicaraguan Contras which in the end brought democracy and ended the Sandinista rule at the time. He was against Reagan’s expansion of the defense budget, which bankrupted the Soviet Union and led to the end of the Soviet Empire. He was against Reagan on Strategic Defenses, which is the big advantage that we have now in the missile age.

And look at where he was on Iraq. He opposed the first Iraq War, the Gulf War that liberated Kuwait that everybody agrees was a good thing. He supported the Iraq War which he, not I, he says was a terrible mistake. And then when the surge happened, he opposed the surge in Iraq which rescued a losing war and ended with our leaving with our heads held high and some promise in the future.

Wild Thing's comment........

Loving Krauthammer.

LOL Biden really steps in it this time.

Democrats Angry At Obamas Over Lavish Taxpayer-Funded Vacations

Dems Angry At Obamas Over Lavish Taxpayer-Funded Vacations…

He and several other top-tier Republican pollsters, organized by Resurgent Republic, traveled to 11 battleground states to host focus groups of independent and swing voters, mostly Democrats, who voted for President Obama in 2008 but who are now on the fence.

McLaughlin handled blue collar and Catholic voters in Pittsburgh on April 3 and Cleveland on March 20. He found that they are very depressed about the economy and feel that their tax dollars are being sucked up by both the rich and those living on government assistance.

During the focus group discussions about debt and spending cuts, many in his group volunteered criticism of the presidential vacations as something that should be cut. Among the lines McLaughlin wrote down was one from a Democratic woman who said, “Michelle Obama spends $1 million to take the kids to Hawaii,” and another who said, “President Obama was the only president to take so many trips.”

The theme, said McLaughlin, is that the first family “is out of touch” with working class voters.

Wild Thing's comment.......

The idiot dems should be angry, they should be outraged. It is their tax dollars as well, not just money from Republicans.

Michelle Obama Cheers the Anti-Catholic HHS Mandate: “We Made History!”

This November, Catholics must stand up and protect their sacred rights and duties.
The video is called..."Test of Fire: Election 2012 "...(Official HD Version - Catholic church)

Michelle Obama Cheers the Anti-Catholic HHS Mandate: “We Made History!”

Catholics Called to Witness released this powerful video for the 2012 election. The values ad includes this powerful quote from Cardinal Dolan:

“Forcing the Church to buy insurance that goes against her teachings is a violation of religious freedom… When the government tampers with a freedom so fundamental, one shudders to think what lies ahead.”

Michelle Obama celebrated the anti-Catholic HHS mandate at a campaign stop in Omaha, Nebraska.
CNS News reported:

CNSNews

First Lady Michelle Obama boasted at a campaign event in Omaha, Neb. on Tuesday that “we made history” when the president’s health care proposal was enacted and the administration issued a regulation mandating that insurance companies provide women with free contraceptives.

“Two years ago, we made history together by finally passing health reform,” said Mrs. Obama. “And because we passed this law, insurance companies will now have to cover basic preventive care–things like prenatal care, mammograms, contraception–at no extra cost.”

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) finalized the “preventive services” regulation in January and it will take effect for most employers on Aug. 1. The regulation mandates that nearly all health insurance plans in the United States must provide women with sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives (including those that can induce abortions) without any fees or co-pay.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and many Catholic leaders in the United States have voiced strong opposition to the mandate because they say it would force Catholics–whose church teaches that sterilization, contraception and abortion are wrong–to act against their consciences and the teachings of their faith. In comments submitted to the Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops called the regulation an “unprecedented attack” on religious liberty and asked the administration to rescind it in its entirety.

Wild Thing's comment......

Disgusting person!

The video is excellent that was made by the Catholic church. They are standing strong and I am glad. I hope people that are Catholics wake up and don't vote for Obama.

Texas Governor Rick Perry Endorses Mitt Romney

Texas Governor Rick Perry Endorses Mitt Romney

After previously endorsing Newt Gingrich in the presidential race, Texas Governor Rick Perry threw his support behind Mitt Romney.

“Mitt Romney has earned the Republican Presidential nomination through hard-work, a strong organization, and disciplined message of restoring America after nearly four years of failed job-killing policies from President Obama and his administration. So today I join the many conservative Republicans across the nation in endorsing Mitt Romney for President and pledge to him, my constituents and the Republican Party than I will continue to work hard to help defeat President Obama. American jobs, economic stability and national security depend on electing a new president. Mitt ‘s vision and record of private sector success will put America back on the path of job creation, economic opportunity and limited government.”

.

Wild Thing's comment..........

My very favorite. I cried when I did this post and had to get one of Perry's photos from the campaign. I miss him, but I will always support him as Gov. and whatever his future holds.

Perry will always be my Hero. He has the most class, dignity, high character, I could go on and on. No one, there is NO one that can even come close to the kind of man he is.

I will add also that of all the candidates that have been in this race, Romney also has class and dignity. He has learned a lot along the way imo and I just keep praying his move more and more to conservative keeps happening. He has a beautiful family and one we can be proud of in our WH. Unlike the thugs Michelle and Barack the socialists that are in their now. They are a total disgrace to our Nation.

And that sicko Santorum still has not endorsed and he is the one that went on and on and on about what a great Christian he is, he is a phony!!!!

I have zero respect for Santorm and next I have less respect for Newt as well. Both of these men, Samtorum and Newt showed how much this whole campaign was more about them then about America.

Here's a flashback of Mitt Romney endorsing Rick Perry in the governors race 2 years ago

EPA Official Al Armendariz Says:"crucify" and "make examples" of US energy producers"

In a Senate speech, Senator Inhofe will draw attention to a little known video from 2010, which shows a top EPA official, Region VI Administrator Al Armendariz, using the vivid metaphor of crucifixion to explain EPA's enforcement tactics for oil and gas producers.

In this video Administrator Armendariz says:

"But as I said, oil and gas is an enforcement priority, it's one of seven, so we are going to spend a fair amount of time looking at oil and gas production. And I gave, I was in a meeting once and I gave an analogy to my staff about my philosophy of enforcement, and I think it was probably a little crude and maybe not appropriate for the meeting but I'll go ahead and tell you what I said. It was kind of like how the Romans used to conquer little villages in the Mediterranean. They'd go into a little Turkish town somewhere, they'd find the first five guys they saw and they would crucify them. And then you know that town was really easy to manage for the next few years. And so you make examples out of people who are in this case not compliant with the law. Find people who are not compliant with the law, and you hit them as hard as you can and you make examples out of them, and there is a deterrent effect there. And, companies that are smart see that, they don't want to play that game, and they decide at that point that it's time to clean up. And, that won't happen unless you have somebody out there making examples of people. So you go out, you look at an industry, you find people violating the law, you go aggressively after them. And we do have some pretty effective enforcement tools. Compliance can get very high, very, very quickly. That's what these companies respond to is both their public image but also financial pressure. So you put some financial pressure on a company, you get other people in that industry to clean up very quickly. So, that's our general philosophy."

EPA Official on Non-Compliant Companies: ‘Hit Them as Hard as You Can’ & ‘Make Examples Out of Them,’ Cites Crucifixion

The Blaze

Are you familiar with a certain Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) official named Al Armendariz?

Chances are you’ve never heard of him. We suspect most Americans haven’t. However, with the recent unearthing of the video below, that could change very soon.

Thanks to a little digging by the staff of Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK), attention has been brought to a 2010 video ( above ) that seems to confirm what many conservatives have long suspected: that the EPA is at war with the oil and gas industries.

Now in regards to the crucifixion remarks: it’s obvious Armendariz is simply using over-the-top imagery to deliver a somewhat entertaining (albeit macabre) analogy.

But in regards to the rest of his remarks, and given some of the recent litigation brought against oil, gas, and coal producers by EPA, Mr. Armendariz’s speech seems to confirm the aforementioned idea that his department is at war with these industries.

.

Wild Thing's comment......

This guy and Obama should be thrown in jail for what they are doing to the oil and coal industries.

This is exactly what are founding fathers were warning us about, This is what are government has become to its people, creating fear of becoming an example.

Big government and most of all this administration is what we are now in fear of.

Democrat Senator Wants to Save Postal Service With Windmills.. Windmills????? He is INSANE!

Senator Wants to Save Postal Service With Windmills

FOX Nation

As the potential collapse of the United States Postal Service looms on the horizon, one Senate Democrat has proposed an unusual plan to solve the crisis.

Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) looks to harvest the electricity that windmill farms produce in order to power a new fleet of battery-operated postal delivery vehicles, replacing the previous '25 to 30 years old' 'dilapidated' vehicles.

The Senator admits the idea is “out there” but concludes that "we need to be thinking boldly, and the postal service needs to do that"

Obviously, Senator Carper missed the report that wind farms are failing to deliver value for money and distorting the development of other renewable energy sources.

Mitt Romney Wins Five Primaries in Northeast and Gives Great Speech

.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Here is most of the transcript of his speech:

For every single mom who feels heartbroken when she has to explain to her kids that she needs to take a second job … for grandparents who can’t afford the gas to visit their grandchildren … for the mom and dad who never thought they’d be on food stamps … for the small business owner desperately cutting back just to keep the doors open one more month – to all of the thousands of good and decent Americans I’ve met who want nothing more than a better chance, a fighting chance, to all of you, I have a simple message: Hold on a little longer. A better America begins tonight.

Tonight is the beginning of the end of the disappointments of the Obama years and the start of a new and better chapter that we will write together.

And I’ll tell you a little bit about myself. I’ll probably start out talking about my wonderful wife Ann – I usually do – and I’ll probably bore you with stories about our kids and grandkids. I’ll tell you about how much I love this country, where someone like my dad, who grew up poor and never graduated from college, could pursue his dreams and work his way up to running a great car company. Only in America could a man like my dad become governor of the state in which he once sold paint from the trunk of his car.

I know how to lead us out of this stagnant Obama economy and into a job-creating recovery!

Four years ago Barack Obama dazzled us in front of Greek columns with sweeping promises of hope and change. But after we came down to earth, after the celebration and parades, what do we have to show for three and a half years of President Obama?

Is it easier to make ends meet? Is it easier to sell your home or buy a new one? Have you saved what you needed for retirement? Are you making more in your job? Do you have a better chance to get a better job? Do you pay less at the pump?

If the answer were “yes” to those questions, then President Obama would be running for re-election based on his achievements…and rightly so. But because he has failed, he will run a campaign of diversions, distractions, and distortions. That kind of campaign may have worked at another place and in a different time. But not here and not now. It’s still about the economy …and we’re not stupid.

People are hurting in America. And we know that something is wrong, terribly wrong with the direction of the country.

Government is at the center of his vision. It dispenses the benefits, borrows what it cannot take, and consumes a greater and greater share of the economy. With Obamacare fully installed, government will come to control half the economy, and we will have effectively ceased to be a free enterprise society.

This President is putting us on a path where our lives will be ruled by bureaucrats and boards, commissions and czars. He’s asking us to accept that Washington knows best – and can provide all.

We’ve already seen where this path leads. It erodes freedom. It deadens the entrepreneurial spirit. And it hurts the very people it’s supposed to help. Those who promise to spread the wealth around only ever succeed in spreading poverty. Other nations have chosen that path. It leads to chronic high unemployment, crushing debt, and stagnant wages.

I have a very different vision for America, and of our future. It is an America driven by freedom, where free people, pursuing happiness in their own unique ways, create free enterprises that employ more and more Americans. Because there are so many enterprises that are succeeding, the competition for hard-working, educated and skilled employees is intense, and so wages and salaries rise.

I see an America with a growing middle class, with rising standards of living. I see children even more successful than their parents – some successful even beyond their wildest dreams – and others congratulating them for their achievement, not attacking them for it.

This America is fundamentally fair. We will stop the unfairness of urban children being denied access to the good schools of their choice; we will stop the unfairness of politicians giving taxpayer money to their friends’ businesses; we will stop the unfairness of requiring union workers to contribute to politicians not of their choosing; we will stop the unfairness of government workers getting better pay and benefits than the taxpayers they serve; and we will stop the unfairness of one generation passing larger and larger debts on to the next.

In the America I see, character and choices matter. And education, hard work, and living within our means are valued and rewarded. And poverty will be defeated, not with a government check, but with respect and achievement that is taught by parents, learned in school, and practiced in the workplace.

This is the America that was won for us by the nation’s Founders, and earned for us by the Greatest Generation. It is the America that has produced the most innovative, most productive, and the most powerful economy in the world.

As I look around at the millions of Americans without work, the graduates who can’t get a job, the soldiers who return home to an unemployment line, it breaks my heart. This does not have to be. It is the result of failed leadership and of a faulty vision. We will restore the promise of America only if we restore the principles of freedom and opportunity that made America the greatest nation on earth.

Today, the hill before us is a little steep but we have always been a nation of big steppers. Many Americans have given up on this President but they haven’t ever thought about giving up. Not on themselves. Not on each other. And not on America.

In the days ahead, join me in the next step toward that destination of November 6th, when across America we can give a sigh of relief and know that the Promise of America has been kept. The dreamers can dream a little bigger, the help wanted signs can be dusted off, and we can start again.

And this time we’ll get it right. We’ll stop the days of apologizing for success at home and never again apologize for America abroad.

There was a time – not so long ago – when each of us could walk a little taller and stand a little straighter because we had a gift that no one else in the world shared. We were Americans. That meant something different to each of us but it meant something special to all of us. We knew it without question. And so did the world.

Those days are coming back. That’s our destiny.

We believe in America. We believe in ourselves. Our greatest days are still ahead. We are, after all, Americans!

God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.

.

Obama: “I Can Do Any Job Better Than the People I Hire to Do It” ~ WOW What Arrogance!!!

Obama: “I Can Do Any Job Better Than the People I Hire to Do It”

Obama had always had a high estimation of his ability to cast and run his operation.

When David Plouffe, his campaign manager, first interviewed for a job with him in 2006, the senator gave him a warning: “I think I could probably do every job on the campaign better than the people I’ll hire to do it,” he said. “It’s hard to give up control when that’s all I’ve known.”

Obama said nearly the same thing to Patrick Gaspard, whom he hired to be the campaign’s political director. “I think I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters,” Obama told him. “I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.”

Obama Scolds DNC Chair, 'Don't Forget You Work for Me'

FOX News

Debbie Wasserman Schultz did some serious kissing up to Obama to get her current position as the Chairwoman for the Democratic National Committee. Not his choice to run the DNC, Wasserman Schultz convinced Obama she could garner favor with her fellow Jews and women. Instead, her caustic personality and combative style have alienated the groups Obama needs to win reelection. Now Obama wants her out of the DNC, altogether.

Rumors have been swirling around that Wasserman Schultz was not in President Obama’s top tier of candidates to sit at the helm of the Democratic National Committee.

A source within the Democratic Party who is a close associate of Wasserman Schultz has told the Shark Tank the details about the process that took place when the vetting of prospective candidates for the DNC chair.

The source told the Shark Tank that, “she (Wasserman Schultz) was not the first choice,” and that Wasserman Schultz feverishly lobbied her case of being a sitting ‘Jewish’ congresswoman in a very safe Democratic district. According to the source, Obama was pressured into picking Wasserman Schultz because she impressed upon him that he needed her as a loyal foot soldier to run cover him and shore up his dwindling support with the Jewish voters as well as with women.

But while Obama has been able to rely on Wasserman Schultz to carry his water, the President has grown increasingly annoyed with the polarizing manner in which she attacks her political opposition-a style that has galvanized her Republican opponents and chased many of those coveted ‘Independents’ away.

It seems as if the relationship has soured to the point that according to the source, “He does not want her in the DNC anymore.”

Apparently, President Obama had discussions with the DNC Chairwoman regarding her approach, even telling her, “Don’t forget you work for me.”

It’s not about you, its about me. – attributed to President Barack Obama to Debbie Wasserman Schultz, as per our source.

Vietnam War Hero to Receive Posthumous Medal of Honor

Army News Service

WASHINGTON, April 17, 2012 – Army Spc. 4 Leslie H. Sabo Jr., a rifleman with the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War, will posthumously receive the Medal of Honor in a May 16 ceremony, White House officials announced yesterday.

Sabo is credited with saving the lives of several of his comrades in Company B, 3rd Battalion, 506th Infantry, when his platoon was ambushed near the Se San River in eastern Cambodia on May 10, 1970. Sabo shielded a comrade from an enemy grenade and silenced a machine-gun bunker before he was killed.

Sabo's widow, Rose Mary Sabo-Brown, and his brother, George Sabo, have been invited to the White House for the ceremony. President Barack Obama recently telephoned Sabo-Brown to inform her that her late husband would receive the nation's highest award for valor.

"It was a very emotional day -- a very, very emotional day,” she said. I couldn't even sleep that night. And … when I did fall asleep finally and I woke up the next morning, I went, 'Now wait a minute, did I dream this? Is it really real?' I couldn't be more proud of him.

.

In her home near New Castle, Pa., Sabo-Brown has set up a museum of sorts in tribute to her late husband and his comrades who were killed in Cambodia.

When his platoon was ambushed from all sides by a large enemy force, Sabo charged the enemy position, killing several enemy soldiers. He then assaulted an enemy flanking force, successfully drawing their fire away from friendly soldiers and ultimately forcing the enemy to retreat. While the platoon was securing a re-supply of ammunition, an enemy grenade landed nearby. Sabo picked it up, threw it, and shielded a wounded comrade with his own body -- absorbing the brunt of the blast and saving his comrade's life.

Although wounded by the grenade blast, Sabo continued to charge the enemy's bunker. After receiving several serious wounds from automatic weapons fire, he crawled toward the enemy emplacement and, when in position, threw a grenade into the bunker. The resulting explosion silenced the enemy fire, but also ended Sabo's life.

Sabo's unit nominated him for the Medal of Honor, but the paperwork was lost until Tony Mabb, a Vietnam veteran of the 101st Airborne Division and a writer for the Screaming Eagle Association magazine, came across a thick file on Sabo while on a research trip to the National Archives military repository in College Park, Md.

Mabb contacted his congresswoman, who recommended that the Defense Department reconsider a medal of valor for Sabo. Mabb also made contact with Sabo's widow.

"The Leslie I know would give his life to anybody," she said. "He would. He would give you the shirt off his back. That's the kind of man he was."

Welfare Spending Up 41 Percent Under Obama

Welfare Spending Up 41 Percent Under Obama

In 1964, when President Lyndon Johnson declared a “war on poverty” in America, the poverty rate stood at around 19 percent. Since then, total federal, state, and local spending on anti-poverty programs has amounted to $15 trillion, yet the poverty rate now stands at 15.1 percent, the highest level in nearly a decade.

The federal government will spend more than $668 billion on anti-poverty programs this year, an increase of 41 percent or more than $193 billion since President Barack Obama took office. State and local government expenditures will amount to another $284 billion, bringing the total to nearly $1 trillion — far more than the $685 billion spent on defense.

Sen. Blunt Slams Dems On Jobs and Energy

Sen. Blunt Slams Dems On Jobs and Energy

Republicans this week escalated their attack on President Obama over the Keystone XL oil-sands pipeline, saying the project's delay is costing jobs and hiking gas prices.

Delivering the GOP's weekly address Saturday, Sen. Roy Blunt (Mo.) said the pipeline, which Obama blocked earlier this year awaiting an environmental impact report, is "the nation's largest shovel-ready project" capable of creating "thousands of American jobs" and delivering "more than 800,000 barrels of oil a day to our refineries."

U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (R-Missouri) delivers the Weekly Republican Address, calling for the Administration and Senate Democrats to quit blocking bipartisan solutions to the high unemployment numbers and increasing gas prices. Senator Blunt says "jobs, jobs, and jobs should be the number one, two and three domestic priorities of the federal government and that the shortest path to more American jobs is more American energy."

Sen. Blunt says, "[f]uel costs are on track to hit an average of $4 a gallon by summertime—that's more than double what they cost when President Obama took office, and it marks a record high for the last two months. Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised. As a candidate, the President said, that energy costs, his quote, he said, 'would necessarily skyrocket' under his plan. Well that's probably one promise the American people wish he hadn't kept."

He concludes, "the administration continues to block the Keystone XL Pipeline—that's the nation's largest shovel-ready project, no taxpayer money involved, it would create thousands of American jobs and deliver more than 800,000 barrels of oil a day to our refineries from our best trading partner and our closest neighbor, Canada—all without costing taxpayers. The Keystone Pipeline is one common-sense step in the right direction to help put more people back to work, reduce prices at the pump, and position our nation for greater energy security now and in the future. Jobs, jobs, and jobs should be the number one, two and three domestic priorities of the federal government. The shortest path to more American jobs is more American energy."

Celebrity Matt Damon Retracts Support Of Obama

April 20,2012

Independent Journal

Celebrity Matt Damon, former staunch supporter of President Obama in his 2008 presidential campaign, has now changed his mind.

In the new issue of Elle Magazine, Damon said in the interview, “You know, a one-term president with some balls who actually got stuff done would have been, in the long run of the country, much better.” If Hollywood turns against Obama in 2012 citing a lack of results, 2012 could be a very long and painful year for the President.

“If the Democrats think that they didn’t have a mandate – people are literally without any focus or leadership, just wandering out into the streets to yell right now because they are so pissed off…Imagine if they had a leader,” Damon stated referring to the Occupy Wall Street Movement.

“If the Democrats think that they didn’t have a mandate – people are literally without any focus or leadership, just wandering out into the streets to yell right now because they are so pissed off…Imagine if they had a leader,” Damon stated referring to the Occupy Wall Street Movement.

Damon has become increasingly frustrated with the results of this presidency, “A friend of mine said to me the other day, I thought it was a great line, ‘I no longer hope for audacity,’” Damon said in an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan.

Obama responded to Damon’s criticism saying, “It’s fair to say that when it comes to my presidency, the honeymoon is over…Matt Damon said he’s been disappointed in my performance. Well Matt, I just saw the ‘Adjustment Bureau,’ so…right back atcha buddy.”

Honeymoon? There should be no part of the presidency of the United States of America that is considered a honeymoon, Mr. President. One can only hope the rest of Hollywood shares the sentiments of Damon so stars can help undecided American voters to see the lack of results we have seen from our 44th president.

Wild Thing's comment.......

LOL I love this, It is not that Matt will be voting for Romney, Matt is a far, far leftie. But if he does not vote it will be better for our country and each non vote for Obama is a vote for Romney just as it would be the other way around.

The reason I posted this is not so much about Matt Damon, but watch the video of Obama and how he reacted to being criticized. We all have seen this arrogance many times. One would think he would have kept his ugly mouth shut and not said anything...take the high ground. But Obama does not have any high ground in his entire soul.

Jeff Sessions to US Senate: “Americans Shouldn’t Send Another Dime to This Place”

Senator Jeff Sessions told the US Senate that until they pass a budget the American public “shouldn’t send another dime to this place.

“I can’t imagine that they would want to go to the American people and ask for higher taxes when they refuse to comply with the plain statutory law that says they should have a budget to tell where that money is going to be spent. If you won’t tell the American people where you’re going to spend the money, how much debt you’re going to run up, how much spending you’re going to cut or not cut, then I don’t think the American people ought to send another dime to this place. Not another dime!”

Wild Thing's comment.........

Thank you Senator Jeff Sessions!! In watching how many of the Republican politicans have been speaking up this last month especially, I think they are really gathering strength in slamming Obama. The Left is Upset With Michele Bachmann ...See Why..(video)

The left is upset after Michele Bachmann said ‘Tar Baby’ while discussing Obama’s failed record.

All you have to know about President Obama is that everything he does is filtered through a grid called – his reelection. It has nothing to do with the priorities of the country… This is just about waving a tar baby in the air and saying that something else is a problem. I have never seen a more irresponsible President who is infantile in the way that he continually blames everyone else for his failure to first diagnose the problem and second to address the problem. – Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann

Wild Thing's comment.........

She didn’t call Obama “a tar baby.” The left needs to either listen better or get rid of that chip on their racist shoulder.

Liberals are so ignorant and obsessed with racism, that they just assume that any time a white person mentions anything black, it’s their deep-seated racism coming out.

Nancy Pelosi Calls For Amending The First Amendment

Pelosi Calls For Amending The First Amendment…

CNSNews

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Thursday endorsed a movement announced by other congressional Democrats on Wednesday to ratify an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would allow Congress to regulate political speech when it is engaged in by corporations as opposed to individuals.

The First Amendment says in part: “Congress shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press. . .”

Television networks, newspapers, publishing houses, movie studios and think tanks, as well as political action committees, are usually organized as, or elements of, corporations.

Pelosi said the Democrats’ effort to amend the Constitution is part of a three-pronged strategy that also includes promoting the DISCLOSE Act, which would increase disclosure requirements for organizations running political ads, and “reducing the roll of money in campaigns” (which some Democrats have said can be done through taxpayer funding of campaigns).

The constitutional amendment the Democrats seek would reverse the Supreme Court’s 2009 decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission. In that decision the court said that the First Amendment protects a right of free speech for corporations as well as for individuals, and that corporations (including those that produce newspapers, films and books) have a right to speak about politicians and their records just as individuals do.

Lt. Col. Ralph Peters Slams the Liberal Media, Obama and Some of the Military Leaders for Jumping to Judgement on our Troops Photos

Lt. Col. Ralph Peters joins Megyn Kelly on FOX News to discuss the publication of photos of U.S. soldiers posing with the bodies of suicide bombers.

Peters: My take on this is that there's a terrible scandal here Megyn, but it has nothing to do with our troops in combat. Those troops escaped a suicide bomber, bad judgment, took some dumb pictures, and no terrorists were harmed in the taking of those snapshots. The real scandal is that the LA Times, desperate to survive, creates a scandal, publishes the pictures over the Pentagon's objections. The real scandal is that the establishment media leaps on another chance to trash our troops. The worst of the scandal is that our leaders, in and out of uniform, rush to condemn our troops. No explanation, no context. And I suggest that White House Spokesman Jay Carney join the military and see what it's like himself before he condemns our troops.

I'm especially appalled that those in uniform, Gen. Allen, our commander in Afghanistan, just jump to trash our troops. Look, he needs to put it in context. Megyn, the "greatest generation" sent Japanese skulls home to their girlfriends. I'm not condoning it, but I'm trying to make the point that our soldiers out on the front line, and our Marines, are under tremendous stresses. War is not a ladies auxiliary tea party, and it's all too easy for people comfortable in Los Angeles or New York or the White House to condemn the troops without context. Those troops should be given company level letters of reprimand and moved on.

And, by the way, if our strategy and doctrine is so pathetically weak that it can be derailed, destroyed, shattered by a few burning Korans or a few photographs -- the dead body parts of terrorists -- well that's not much of a strategy or a doctrine. So, I'm furious, not at the troops who did something dumb, but I'm furious at the moral cowardice of military leaders who never stick up for our troops but protect their own careers. Do I sound angry? As a 22-year-old former Army enlisted man and officer, I'm angry as can be because Gen. Allen needs to get it through his head that a leader is responsible for everything his troops do or fail to do. That's the military code. Don't blame the troops out doing the tough work. Blame the generals whose strategy has failed, the cowardly, cowardly White House just trying to kick the can down the road to November, and blame the establishment media

Good for Lt.Col. Peters!!!!!!!

Michael Reagan: "Obama Lying About My Father" ~ He Sure Is!

saying President Barack Obama is “lying about my father to try and pass his piece of legislation.” Reagan said Obama is trying to “dress himself up as Ronald Reagan,” even though he is not doing what Reagan did.

Reagan was trying to close loopholes for the wealthy, but actually lower tax rates for all income levels – not raise the tax rate on the wealthy. Obama is trying to raise tax rates on the very people who have the capital to start businesses and create jobs.

Michael Reagan also said his father “would be applauding” the Paul Ryan budget plan.

Obama Added $5 TRILLION ($5,027,761,476,484.56) to the US National Debt Iin Just 3 Years!!!!

CNSNews

In the 39 months since Barack Obama took the oath of office as president of the United States, the federal government’s debt has increased by $5,027,761,476,484.56.

Although he has served less than a term, Obama is now the first American president to see the federal government’s debt increase by more than $5 trillion during his time in office.

During the full eight years that George W. Bush served as president, the federal government’s debt increased by $4,899,100,310,608.44. (Rising from $5,727,776,738,304.64 to $10,626,877,048,913.08.)

The $5,027,761,476,484.56 that the debt has increased during Obama’s presidency equals $16,043.39 for every one of the 313,385,295 people the Census Bureau now estimates live in the United States.

Wild Thing's comment.........

House Republicans Block EPA from Banning Lead in Ammunition

House Republicans Block EPA from Banning Lead in Ammunition

The House on Tuesday passed legislation giving hunters and fishing enthusiasts access to certain public lands to pursue their sport and also blocked the Environmental Protection Agency from banning lead for use in ammunition and fishing tackle.

The Sportsmen’s Heritage Act passed on a mostly party line vote of 274 yeas and 146 nays.

Republicans argued that the ability of sportsmen and women to fish and shoot on public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Forest Service is being threatened by the Obama administration and environmentalists through bureaucratic regulations.

Republicans also said that banning lead bullets and tackle would cause economic harm to the recreation industry and kill jobs.

“It would be a massive power grab by the EPA without a clear lack of legal authority, but has that ever stopped the EPA under this administration? Sadly, it hasn’t,” said Rep. Doc Hastings (R–Wash.) chairman of the House Resources Committee.

The bill recognizes hunting and fishing as historic and traditional recreational activities on public land and requires the federal bureaucracy to support those rights, said Rep. Rob Bishop (R–Utah), chairman of the Resources subcommittee on national parks, forests and public lands…

…Federal law already bans the EPA from regulating lead ammunition, however, more than 100 environmental groups petitioned the agency last month to ban it claiming the lead can poison those who eat wild game shot with the ammunition, or other animals that accidentally ingest the metal in dead carcasses.

“There is no scientific evidence for their position,” Hastings said. “So this (bill) makes it crystal clear Congress has primacy on this issue and it should be respected.”

Wild Thing's comment.......

I don't really think it is about lead. It’s about completely overturning the second amendment, except that it’s based completely on a baldfaced lie.

Congress needs to take the government back from tyrannical agencies and get the country moving again.

Buffett Rule Fails in the Senate, 51-45. 60 Votes Were Needed For Cloture

Buffett Rule Fails in the Senate, 51-45. 60 Votes Were Needed For Cloture

On the eve of the federal tax filing deadline, the Senate blocked consideration of a Democratic bill to ensure that taxpayers making over $1 million a year pay more in federal taxes.

The vote, mostly on party lines, was 51 to 45, short of the 60 votes needed to advance the bill.

The bill, sponsored by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., is a version of a proposal made last year by investor Warren Buffett.

President Barack Obama had been rallying support for the “Buffett Rule” for the past several months and especially in the past week.

The tax proposal, Obama said on Sunday, is “not an argument about redistribution” of wealth. Instead, he said, "we're making an argument about how do we grow the economy so that it's going to prosper in this competitive 21st century environment," he said. "The only way we're going to do that is if people like me, who have been incredibly blessed, are willing to give a little bit back so that the next generation coming along can succeed as well.”

CNBC - Rick Santelli - Taxing the Rich will not Offset the Deficit

On CNBC’s broadcast of “Squawk on the Street,” CME Group floor reporter Rick Santelli went through the numbers and explained why President Barack Obama’s so-called “Buffett rule” would do little to remedy federal deficit woes.

Santelli projected new government revenue that would be earned by imposing the rule, taking the number of millionaires and billionaires and applying the tax hike to their earnings.

At the end of the scenario, even with the rosiest projection of the number of millionaires and billionaires used, the new revenue falls significantly short of correcting the deficits the government is accumulating, according to Santelli.

“If you look at total public debt held, it has increased $792 billion in this time to a grand total of $15.6 trillion,” Santelli said. “You see what the problem is? We can bash people. We can drag people that used to be called successful and drag them down. But is it going to cure a problem? No. We cannot collect enough taxes to catch up with spending. Do I know a solution? Not really. Does your politicians know a solution? Does our commander-in-chief offer a solution? Absolutely not.”

Santelli added that he wasn’t clear on how making people pay their so-called “fair share” would result in better opportunities for his children.

“I have solutions but you know what? It will take a long time to go there,” he said. “People don’t really want to hear solutions. They want to change the dialogue, bait and switch so we get more worried about what people pay, what’s fair. How are my kids’ opportunities affected by how many millionaires there are? I don’t see that opportunities are affected. You know what I see will affect their opportunity? $15.6 Trillion.”

Obama's Secret Service Scandal in Colombia

The service members are currently confined to their quarters in Cartagena.

In the statement, Gen. Douglas Fraser, commander of USSOUTHCOM, said he is “disappointed by the entire incident and that this behavior is not in keeping with the professional standards expected of members of the United States military.”

Argument About the Bill Alerted Hotel Authorities to Secret Service and Prostitutes Cavorting, WH Official Says

(ABC News) — A senior administration official briefed on the accusations against the Secret Service agents pulled from duty in Colombia tells ABC News that a heated argument between at least one of the alleged prostitutes and at least one of the Secret Service agents first alerted authorities of the Hotel Caribe in Cartagena to the cavorting between Secret Service agents and prostitutes.

The argument was a dispute over the bill for services rendered, the administration official said.

Hotel Caribe authorities went to investigate the ruckus and learned that there had been some activity between Secret Service agents and prostitutes, the senior administration official said.

Hotel authorities then went down to the reception desk to see who else of the American guests may have signed in female guests — call girls — for the evening.

Initially, this official said, that inspection led the hotel authorities to have questions about 22 Americans — 17 Secret Service agents and five special operations soldiers who were there to assist the Secret Service. Their names were reported to the lead U.S. military official on the ground.

That is not to say that all 22 men had hired prostitutes, the administration official underlined. Some of those about whom the hotel raised questions may merely have been attending a party and violating curfew. Eleven Secret Service agents have been sent back to the United States. The five U.S. special forces members remain in Colombia, per the request of the Secret Service.

Major Pro-Life Groups Endorse Mitt Romney: “Now is the Time to United behind Gov. Mitt Romney to Defeat the Most Ideologically Pro-Abortion President in our Nation’s History”

Washington Times

Mitt Romney received the endorsement this week of two of the nation’s major Pro-Life groups. They are calling on people to “unite behind Gov. Romney” in order to defeat the radically pro-abortion President, Barack Obama:

GOP presidential front-runner Mitt Romney got back-to-back endorsements from prominent pro-life groups Thursday, signaling that anti-abortion forces will overlook his previous pro-choice positions in their shared desire to defeat President Obama in the general election.

The Susan B. Anthony List threw its support behind Mr. Romney in a morning news release and National Right-to-Life, the nation’s oldest and largest pro-life organization, followed suit with a news conference at the National Press Club in Washington.

“Now is the time to unite behind Gov. Romney in order to defeat the most ideologically pro-abortion president in our nation’s history,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List. She added that her group plans to spend $10 million to $12 million in Senate and presidential battleground states “mobilizing pro-life voters to ensure victory.”

The group had endorsed Rick Santorum’s president bid in February, but the former Pennsylvania senator dropped out of the race this week, prompting the group to swing its support behind Mr. Romney, who says he has moved from pro-choice to pro-life over the course of his political career.

Defense Spending Cuts Worrisome For Local Military Communities

Defense Spending Cuts Worrisome For Local Military Communities

FOX News

As the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan draw to a close, the Department of Defense plans to trim more than $480 billion from the budget in the coming decade. Tough choices will be made, and communities that rely on military spending are on edge.

On Massachusetts' Cape Cod, 170 positions have been cut from the Otis Air National Guard Base, mostly jobs in the Air Operations group.

"Everybody realizes that everybody has to be part of the solution as we try to get our national debt down," said Col. Anthony Schiavi, the commander of the 102nd Intelligence Wing based at Otis. "We look to make sure we take care of our airmen and their families in whatever way that we can, as well as continuing to have dialogue about other missions we think we can be well-suited for that the Air Force says we still need capability there."

And on Thursday, two F-16 jets heading to Afghanistan experienced engine problems and the pilots were forced to make emergency landings at the base.

The surrounding business community, which relies heavily on tourism during the summer months, is not taking the cuts lightly, especially as the news comes during the slower spring and winter off-season.

"Of course, we're distressed by it. The military reservation is integral to all of the communities that surround it," said Jay Zavala, the president of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce. "Not only Falmouth, but Mashpee, Sandwich and Bourne and by extension it goes on beyond the Cape and onto the rest of Massachusetts, so it's very important to us."

Proposed cuts will hit other bases in the Bay State, including the loss of hundreds of positions and a reduction of cargo planes.

Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown, who served in the state's National Guard for more than 30 years, says the mission, providing safety and security, comes first, but the fiscal impact can't be ignored.

"That's huge, especially here in this part of the region. There's over 5,000 people serving, and then you throw in the ancillary jobs and the supporting civilian work force, it's hundreds of millions of dollars," Brown said. "It's critically important, and I'm not satisfied the proposal makes any sense."

Nationwide, the Air Force plans to cut active, reserve and guard personnel by 9,900 troops by the end of September next year.

Wild Thing's comment.........

The bottom line for all this is wrong, all the bad things happening to our country is we have to get Obama out of office. At least it wil give our coungtry a chance to survive and hopefully come back.

Fox News’ Jennifer Griffin reporting that North Korea’s launch of a rocket believed to be part of their nuclear ballistic missile system has failed. In the video, she reports it “may have failed,” but just now they say they have confirmed through U.S. officials that it did, indeed, fail. It made it off the launch site, but broke up in mid-flight and apparently landed in the sea.

Storm Dumps Waist-high Hail in Texas Panhandle

A motorist sits in a truck partially buried in slushy hail near Amarillo, Texas. Weather service crews are assessing the damage from a Texas Panhandle storm that dumped several feet of nickel-sized hail, stranded motorists in muddy, hail drifts and closed a highway for several hours.

AP

Maintenance crews worked Thursday to clear roads after a storm dumped several inches of hail on parts of the Texas Panhandle, trapping motorists in muddy drifts that were waist-to-shoulder high.

The storm left so much hail in its wake that workers had to use snow plows to clear the piles from the road.

"It was crazy," National Weather Service Meteorologist Justyn Jackson said about the strange storm, which hit Wednesday afternoon. The hail was "real small" but there was a lot of it in a concentrated area, accumulating 2- to 4-feet deep, he said.

The rural area where the storm struck was mainly ranch land, about 25 miles north of Amarillo and south of Dumas. Rainwater gushed across the parched land, washing dirt and then mud into the hail, pushing it all onto U.S. 287, Potter County Sheriff Brian Thomas said.

"There were just piles of hail," said Maribel Martinez with the Amarillo/Potter/Randall Office of Emergency Management. "Some of the cars were just buried in hail and people were trapped in their cars."

Shameless Liar Horrible Obama Compares Himself to Reagan (Video)

Some years ago, one of my predecessors traveled across the country pushing for the same concept. He gave a speech where he talked about a letter he had received from a wealthy executive who paid lower tax rates than his secretary, and wanted to come to Washington and tell Congress why that was wrong. So this president gave another speech where he said it was “crazy”—that’s a quote—that certain tax loopholes make it possible for multimillionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying 10 percent of his salary. That wild-eyed, socialist, tax-hiking class warrior was Ronald Reagan.

He thought that, in America, the wealthiest should pay their fair share, and he said so. I know that position might disqualify him from the Republican primaries these days, but what Ronald Reagan was calling for then is the same thing that we’re calling for now: a return to basic fairness and responsibility; everybody doing their part. And if it will help convince folks in Congress to make the right choice, we could call it the Reagan Rule instead of the Buffett Rule.

For the record… When Ronald Reagan took office, the top individual tax rate was 70 percent and by 1986 it was down to only 28 percent. All Americans received at least a 30 percent tax rate cut. Obama and Democrats like to play with the numbers and pretend that Reagan’s tax increases equaled his tax cuts. Of course, this is dishonest and absurd.

Wild Thing's comment.........

Obama you are NOT even worthy to be allowed to shine the shoes of President Ronald Reagan you freaking jerk.

Women Made 18% Less Than Men In The Obama White House In 2011

Women Made 18% Less Than Men In The Obama White House In 2011

Female employees in the Obama White House make considerably less than their male colleagues, records show.

According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, which was about 18 percent less than the median salary for male employees ($71,000).

Calculating the median salary for each gender required some assumptions to be made based on the employee names. When unclear, every effort was taken to determine the appropriate gender.

The Obama campaign on Wednesday lashed out at presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney for his failure to immediately endorse the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act, a controversial law enacted in 2009 that made it easier to file discrimination lawsuits.

President Obama has frequently criticized the gender pay gap, such as the one that exists in White House.

“Paycheck discrimination hurts families who lose out on badly needed income,” he said in a July 2010 statement. “And with so many families depending on women’s wages, it hurts the American economy as a whole.”

It is not known whether any female employees at the White House have filed lawsuits under the Ledbetter Act.

The president and his Democratic allies have accused Republicans of waging a “war on women,” and have touted themselves as champions of female equality. Obama’s rhetoric, however, has not always been supported by his actions.

.

Wild Thing's comment.......

I guess we have to get ready for the vile attacks by Obama and tons of his outright lies. One for sure will be the way Obama USES women in his lies to try and get people to think Republicans do not treat women well. When the truth is Obama is the one that uses women. I don't think he cares about anyone except himself.

Obama Attacks Private Citizens David and Charles Koch Again

White House Attacks Private Citizens David and Charles Koch Again

Disgusting.

Once again, President Obama went out of its way to attack private citizens Charles and David Koch last week. The White House told reporters that the Koch brothers have “spent millions of dollars attacking the President in an attempt to maintain taxpayer subsidies for oil and gas companies.” Not only was it an outrageous attack on two private citizens and entrepreneurs, it was completely false.
News Alert reported on this from Koch Facts:

A recently issued press release by the Obama campaign once again singles out Koch and misrepresents the facts in a divisive manner when Americans are asking for a reasoned dialogue and solutions to pressing economic issues. The Obama campaign is upset about a study put out this week by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University concerning President Obama’s Affordable Care Act. Instead of addressing the study’s findings and analysis, the campaign spokesperson deflects and falsely criticizes Koch for supporting “subsidies for oil and gas companies that are making record profits and boosting their own bottom line.”

As has been explained repeatedly, Koch has consistently and for many years opposed government subsidies of any kind and urged the government to discontinue them. Further, Charles Koch and David Koch have championed free-market policies for more than 50 years and criticized those policies that are counter to free-market principles, regardless of whether Democrats or Republicans were in power. We have long supported the Mercatus Center and other groups that analyze and advance thoughtful, reliable, free-market solutions to the pressing economic problems facing our country. The Obama campaign’s complaints about energy policy appear to be a tactic to divert attention from the study’s analysis of the Affordable Care Act’s impact on our country’s massive deficits. The fact that the President’s campaign would prefer to demonize Koch rather than discuss the economic consequences of the president’s policies demonstrates that the Administration and its allies would prefer not to deal with the serious economic crisis our nation faces.

Wild Thing's comment......

Evil Obama and his people at it again. NEVER have I seen a President do this and never has a president allowed citizens to be attacked like Obama has done.

Ex-Agent: Jimmy Carter Treated Secret Service Like Servants

Ex-Agent: Jimmy Carter Treated Secret Service Like Servants

Newsmax's Ron Kessler Reporting: As outlined in my book “In the President’s Secret Service: Behind the Scenes with Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect,” Democratic presidents who claim like Olbermann to be for the little guy often are the nastiest with staff and Secret Service agents. Jimmy Carter — codenamed Deacon — was a prime example.

“When Carter first came there, he didn’t want the police officers and agents looking at him or speaking to him when he went to the office,” says Nelson Pierce, an assistant White House usher. “He didn’t want them to pay attention to him going by. I never could understand why. He was not going to the Oval Office without shoes or a robe.”

“We never spoke unless spoken to,” says Fred Walzel, who was chief of the White House branch of the Secret Service Uniformed Division. “Carter complained that he didn’t want them [the officers] to say hello.”

For three and a half years, agent John Piasecky was on Carter’s detail — including seven months of driving him in the presidential limousine — and Carter never spoke to him, he says. At the same time, Carter tried to project an image of himself as a man of the people by carrying his own luggage when traveling. But that was often for show. When he was a candidate in 1976, Carter would carry his own bags when the press was around but ask the Secret Service to carry them the rest of the time.

“Carter would have us carry his luggage from the trunk to the airport,” says former Secret Service agent John F. Collins. “But that is not our job, and we finally stopped doing it.” On one occasion, says Collins, “We opened the trunk and shut it, leaving his luggage in the trunk. He was without clothes for two days.”

As president, Carter engaged in more ruses involving his luggage.

“When he was traveling, he would get on the helicopter and fly to Air Force One at Andrews Air Force Base,” says former Secret Service agent Clifford R. Baranowski. “He would roll up his sleeves and carry his bag over his shoulder, but it was empty. He wanted people to think he was carrying his own bag.”

Wild Thing's comment......

I remember posting a few yearsago about how horrible Carter was to the SS agents. This can be added to all the other compalints and I am not surprised at all. Carter is not a good guy at all.

Newt Gingrich Issues Statement on Santorum’s Departure, Tells Mike Huckabee He’ll ‘Finally Get to Be 1-on-1 With Romney’

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich was just on the Mike Huckabee Radio show, and commented on Santorum suspending his own presidential campaign just moments ago. On the show, Gingrich discussed finally getting to be ’1-on-1′ with Romney, how he will campaign going forward, and a possible debate in North Carolina with the current front-runner.

Newt Calls on Santorum Supporters to Join His Campaign

“I am committed to staying in this race all the way to Tampa so that the conservative movement has a real choice. I humbly ask Senator Santorum’s supporters to visit Newt.org to review my conservative record and join us as we bring these values to Tampa. We know well that only a conservative can protect life, defend the Constitution, restore jobs and growth and return to a balanced budget."

Santorumdid not mention Romney at all. But he did do something or say something that showed his problem with the truth. Santorum while making his speech said he had never been negative during the campaign. And yet he has been the most negative of all the candidates from the very beginning. His attacks on Rick Perry, and Romney were over the top and he lied about both of them. But if that is what Rick Santorum wants to believe that he is some mr. nice guy I could care less. He is his own worst enemy since he would rather lie then just say they all fought hard or something like that. sheesh.

Newt Gingrich LOL I am sorry but this guy is a joke imo. He has been at the bottom even sometimes below Ron Paul in the votes and polls. Newt's ego is so huge he has lost reality. He is determined to go to the convention no matter what. If I were Romney I would ignore Newt and just keep moving forward with ads about Obama and the heck with egomaniac Newt. Newt is NOT about America, Newt is about Newt.

Obamacare Law Will Add $340 Billion to Deficit Over Next 10 Years, New Study Says

Obamacare Law Will Add $340 Billion to Deficit Over Next 10 Years, New Study Says

Washington Post

Obama’s landmark health-care initiative, long touted as a means to control costs, will actually add more than $340 billion to the nation’s budget woes over the next decade, according to a new study by a member of the board that oversees Medicare financing.

The study is set to be released Tuesday by Charles Blahous, a conservative policy analyst whom Obama approved in 2010 as the Republican trustee for Medicare and Social Security. His analysis challenges the conventional wisdom that the health-care law, which calls for an expensive expansion of coverage for the uninsured beginning in 2014, will nonetheless reduce deficits by raising taxes and cutting payments to Medicare providers.

The 2010 law does generate both savings and revenue. But much of that money will flow into the Medicare hospitalization trust fund — and, under law, the money must be used to pay years of additional benefits to those who are already insured. That means those savings would not be available to pay for expanding coverage for the uninsured.

“Does the health-care act worsen the deficit? The answer, I think, is clearly that it does,” Blahous, a senior research fellow at George Mason University’s Mercatus Center, said in an interview. “If one asserts that this law extends the solvency of Medicare, then one is affirming that this law adds to the deficit. Because the expansion of the Medicare trust fund and the creation of the new subsidies together create more spending than existed under prior law.”

Obama wants our country to go completely bankrupt and then he will blame Bush and Republicans of course. Damn Obama!!!!

North Korea Set to Launch Long-Range Rocket; What Does it Mean for the U.S. and Iran?

North Korea Set to Launch Long-Range Rocket; What Does it Mean for the U.S. and Iran?

FOX News

South Korean and intelligence experts say North Korea is gearing up to test a nuclear weapon. Reportedly, new satellite images show North Korean workers digging an underground tunnel, the same kind used in previous tests. The news also comes as the country prepares to launch a long-range rocket, as early as Wednesday, that they claim is meant to put a satellite into orbit.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said, “We view the potential rocket launch as a very provocative act that would be, if it were conducted, done in direct violation of North Korea’s international obligations.”

Victoria Nuland, a State Department spokeswoman, said the United States’ concern is for the people of North Korea who are further isolated and “whose quality of life is not improving.”

Fox News correspondent Jonathan Hunt said on Fox Report that by doing this, North Korea is advertising it’s technological abilities to buyers like Iran and also, “Kim Jong Un, North Korea’s new and very young leader has a point to prove, that he is willing and able to stand up to the international community. No coincidence either that he is doing that on the week that marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of his grandfather.”

Obama's Racist Rev. Wright Crawls Out From Under His Rock To Speak

.

Watch comments cut together from all three of Wright’s speeches in the video's above.

Rev. Wright Unleashed: ‘White Supremacy’ Drives ‘World Policy,’ Allah & Yahweh Are the ‘Same’…and Clarence Thomas Is Worshipping ‘Some Other God’

The Blaze

The chickens come home to roost.

Barack Obama’s former nutcase pastor and mentor says “white supremacy drives world policy.” He also told a congregation of brain-dead dupes recently that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas “is worshipping some other God.”

•Rev. Jeremiah Wright delivered three fiery sermons about faith, race and politics at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Charleston, West Virginia

•Wright said Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas worships “some other God” outside of “Allah and Yahweh” (who are the “same” he says)

•Obama’s former pastor called Thomas Jefferson “a pedophile”

*He sees “white supremacy” driving “world policy”

•Wright condemned the U.S. military, saying, “fighting for peace is like raping for virginity”

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright became a household name during the 2008 presidential campaign. The fiery preacher, who was President Barack Obama’s pastor for two decades, has since retired from his position at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois. However, he’s still an active figure in geopolitical and faith movements, as his bizarre commentaries often offend detractors and inspire intense debate

Last week, Wright spoke at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Charleston, West Virginia, as part of a week-long revival event. His controversial words took aim at Thomas Jefferson, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, the media and plenty of other targets.

Romney And Netanyahu Close Friendship Goes Back To 1976 ~ This is GREAT!

Romney And Netanyahu Close Friendship Goes Back To 1976

NY Times

The two young men had woefully little in common: one was a wealthy Mormon from Michigan, the other a middle-class Jew from Israel.

But in 1976, the lives of Mitt Romney and Benjamin Netanyahu intersected, briefly but indelibly, in the 16th-floor offices of the Boston Consulting Group, where both had been recruited as corporate advisers. At the most formative time of their careers, they sized each other up during the firm’s weekly brainstorming sessions, absorbing the same profoundly analytical view of the world.

That shared experience decades ago led to a warm friendship, little known to outsiders, that is now rich with political intrigue. Mr. Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, is making the case for military action against Iran as Mr. Romney, the likely Republican presidential nominee, is attacking the Obama administration for not supporting Mr. Netanyahu more robustly.

The relationship between Mr. Netanyahu and Mr. Romney — nurtured over meals in Boston, New York and Jerusalem, strengthened by a network of mutual friends and heightened by their conservative ideologies — has resulted in an unusually frank exchange of advice and insights on topics like politics, economics and the Middle East.

When Mr. Romney was the governor of Massachusetts, Mr. Netanyahu offered him firsthand pointers on how to shrink the size of government. When Mr. Netanyahu wanted to encourage pension funds to divest from businesses tied to Iran, Mr. Romney counseled him on which American officials to meet with. And when Mr. Romney first ran for president, Mr. Netanyahu presciently asked him whether he thought Newt Gingrich would ever jump into the race.

Only a few weeks ago, on Super Tuesday, Mr. Netanyahu delivered a personal briefing by telephone to Mr. Romney about the situation in Iran.

“We can almost speak in shorthand,” Mr. Romney said in an interview. “We share common experiences and have a perspective and underpinning which is similar.”

Mr. Netanyahu attributed their “easy communication” to what he called “B.C.G.’s intellectually rigorous boot camp.”

“So despite our very different backgrounds,” he said through an aide, “my sense is that we employ similar methods in analyzing problems and coming up with solutions for them.”

The ties between Mr. Romney and Mr. Netanyahu stand out because there is little precedent for two politicians of their stature to have such a history together that predates their entry into government. And that history could well influence decision-making at a time when the United States may face crucial questions about whether to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities or support Israel in such an action.

Mr. Romney has suggested that he would not make any significant policy decisions about Israel without consulting Mr. Netanyahu — a level of deference that could raise eyebrows given Mr. Netanyahu’s polarizing reputation, even as it appeals to the neoconservatives and evangelical Christians who are fiercely protective of Israel.

Retired Marine Finally Reunited With Her Old Service Dog

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

A retired Marine has finally been reunited with her old military service dog after a six-year bureaucratic battle to adopt him.

Cpl. Megan Leavey, 28, served with her four-legged German shepherd partner Sgt. Rex through two tours in Iraq, completing hundreds of missions searching for roadside bombs until an insurgent explosion took them both out of service in 2006.

“I was on foot patrol in Iraq during the day, there was insurgents watching us from afar and they detonated an IED at a certain point when we got close,” Leavey told ABC News. “It was real scary, it was a long day for us, we got through it together and recovered together after.”

Leavey retired from the military and tried unsuccessfully to adopt Rex, but because of his valuable training he was put back in service after recovering from his injuries.

Rex was diagnosed with a kind of nerve paralysis earlier this year, permanently taking him out of service and prompting Leavey to take up a new adoption campaign. It became a race against the clock to get final approval before Rex was put down — something Leavey said can happen with old working dogs that become ill and are unable to be adopted out for safety reasons.

She was given final approval to adopt Rex month, and reunited with him when he was discharged at a ceremony at Camp Pendleton on Friday.

“I haven’t seen him in so long, so, it’s nice to see him again,” Leavey told ABC.

At 11 years old, Leavey said Rex will be living a well-deserved life of luxury at her New York home.

“Whatever he wants. He wants to sleep all day. I have a nice fenced-in yard, so he’s got plenty of area to run around. I got plenty of toys,” she told KCEN-TV.

Mike Dowling, Rex’s first handler, told ABC Leavey and Sgt. Rex are a perfect match.

“He’s a combat-wounded marine, and someone that’s going to understand him the best is another combat-wounded marine,” Dowling said.

Sgt. Aside from the football and an American flag, Sniffen was also sporting a head-mounted videocam that contained a tongue switch in his mouth that would take still photos.

Most fascinating perhaps is the tipping point where you can actually start to hear 109,933 crazed fans screaming as this expert paratrooper — who hasn’t missed a target in more than 800 career jumps — comes in and sticks the landing at the 3-yard-line.

Obama Signals Iran He Will Accept Nuclear Program if they Won’t Use it to Develop Weapons

Obama Signals Iran He Will Accept Nuclear Program if they Won’t Use it to Develop Weapons

Haaretz

U.S. President Barack Obama has recently passed a message to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Washington Post reported on Friday, which signaled that the United States would agree to an Iranian civilian nuclear program if they proved they were not developing a nuclear bomb.

According to David Ignatius, the Washington Post’s senior columnist specializing in intelligence matters, Obama passed Khamenei the message through Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who visited Tehran this week.

Obama reportedly signaled Khamenei that the U.S. would be prepared to accept a civilian nuclear program in Iran, should the Iranian leader take steps that would support his public declarations in February, in which he said that Iran “would never develop nuclear weapons.” The U.S., Obama also wrote, would also expect Iranian leaders to prove that Tehran does not have a military nuclear program.

Obama met with Erdogan at the nuclear summit in South Korea for two hours and asked him to pass on the message to Khamenei. Obama told Erdogan that the Iranians must understand that time is running out on a solution for the Tehran nuclear problem and that they must take advantage of the negotiations that will begin with the six world powers on April 13.

According to Ignatius, Obama did not give details as to whether Iran would be allowed to continue enriching uranium on its soil while developing its civilian nuclear program.

Erdogan told Obama that he will transfer the message, and the U.S. administration believes that he did so during the meeting he held with Khamenei in Tehran this week.

Since Obama entered the White House, an alliance was formed between him and Erdogan. The Turkish prime minister is the Muslim leader that is most closely associated with the U.S. president.

Negotiations between Iran and the six world powers are due to begin on April 13, but a location has yet been scheduled.

Sen. Ron Johnson: Green light for Obamacare would remove Americans’ ‘last shred of freedom’ -Video

In an interview with The Daily Caller, Senator Ron Johnson warned of dire threats to individual liberty if the Supreme Court were to confirm the constitutionality of president Obama’s individual health care mandate, which requires all Americans to purchase health insurance or a pay a fine.

“Can the federal government actually force Americans to buy a product?” Johnson asked, incredulous, at a “Hands Off My Health Care” rally on Capitol Hill. ”That would be a sea change in constitutional law. … The Commerce Clause [in the U.S. Constitution] has been expanded far beyond anything the founders ever envisioned anyway but this is our, kind of, last shred of freedom.”

“This really is a very pivotal moment for America and we just have to hope and pray the Supreme Court does the right thing and rules this thing unconstitutional.”

The Wisconsin Republican, who endorsed former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for president on Sunday, said this is a “very simple” case.
“Can the federal government force you to buy a product? Can they really remove that … last shred of freedom?” he asked.

Wild Thing's comment.......

Johnson is right. This mandate has never been about "affordable healthcare".

It has been about removing the federal government's last constitutional obstruction and opening Pandora's box for a governing elite with no restrictions.

If he gets the mandate, we are history...and while Romney was not my first choice ( mine was Rick Perry) ...he is not obama and I will for sure get behind him if he indeed is the nominee.

Utah Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz: White House blocking access to ‘Fast and Furious’ witness who wants to testify

White House blocking access to ‘Fast and Furious’ witness who wants to testify

Utah Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz told the Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly on Friday that although a key White House witness in the ill-fated Operation Fast and Furious gun-walking program is willing to testify about what he knows, the Obama administration won’t let him appear before Congress.

White House Counsel Kathryn Ruemmler sent a letter Thursday to Republican lawmakers Rep. Darrell Issa and Sen. Chuck Grassley, refusing their request to speak with Kevin O’Reilly, a former National Security staff member whose emails place him in the middle of the unfolding scandal. Issa and Grassley had written to Ruemmler on March 28, asking the White House to step aside and let O’Reilly talk to investigators.

Grassley is the GOP ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Issa chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, whose members include Chaffetz.

“[O’Reilly’s] personal attorney indicated that he’s more than willing to talk to the committee, on the record, under oath”” Chaffetz told Kelly during her Friday afternoon broadcast. “It is only the White House and the White House Counsel that is saying they will not make him available.”

During his time at the White House, records show, O’Reilly carried on an email conversation with Frank Newell, then the head of the Phoenix field office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Their emails suggest that Newell was directly briefing O’Reilly on Fast and Furious.

In one email, Newell wrote to O’Reilly, “You didn’t get this from me,” indicating that he may have been subverting the established chain of command within the Department of Justice, which oversees ATF.

In another, Newell said, “Just don’t want ATF HQ to find out, especially since this is what they should be doing (briefing you!).”

Still, Ruemmler refused in her April 5 letter to let Issa, Grassley and their investigators have access to O’Reilly.

“Over six months ago, the White House produced documents responsive to your prior request for communication between Mr. O’Reilly and ATF agent Newell,” she wrote.

“[N]one of these limited communications between Mr. O’Reilly and Mr. Newell revealed the existence of any of the inappropriate investigative tactics at issue in your inquiry, let alone any decisions to allow guns to ‘walk.’”

Ruemmler also cited executive privilege and confidentiality as reasons for denying the lawmakers’ request.

Chaffetz said that the House oversight committee did not receive the emails from the White House, even though the documents were covered by at least one of several subpoenas Congress has issued.

“A brave whistleblower stepped up and gave us these documents,” Chaffetz said on Fox News.

“We have issued twenty-two sets of subpoenas,” Chaffetz added. “For thirteen categories of those subpoenas, the White House has provided zero documents.”

Speaking specifically about the White House’s failure to fully comply with the subpoenas, Chaffetz said, “How dare you? How come you did not provide these documents to the committee when we issued this subpoena? And they unilaterally decided this was not important, which is totally unacceptable.”

“You cannot just ignore subpoenas,” the congressman insisted. “That’s why we are on a collision course where we’ll have to come to the decision to say, ‘are we going to hold the Department of Justice, Eric Holder, in contempt and go through contempt proceedings?’”

.

Obama and Holder would love for this never to have been brought up and they are fighting it every step of the way.

He lays into the Obama Adm. for allowing the Muslim Brotherhood inside the White House to meet with officials concerning Egypt's way forward. Charles says it will be used by the Brotherhood to show the people of Egypt that they are acceptable. He begins at the 3:10 mark

Obama Regime Release $1.5 Billion In Aid To Egypt After Meeting With Muslim Brotherhood…

Kuwait News

The White House defended the decision to release USD 1.5 billion in foreign aid to Egypt, on Thursday, following meetings between U.S. officials and lawmakers and representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood in Washington.

“We believe it is in the interest of the United States to engage with all parties in Egypt and to continue to engage with Egypt, because Egypt has been an important ally of the United States and has played a significant role in the region, “White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters.

Carney did not answer why the foreign aid was released all at once, rather than in tranches as some lawmakers had strongly lobbied for after the Egyptian government prosecuted American and international pro-democracy workers.

However, he said the Obama administration is engaging with Egypt’s new actors “to try to work with them during this historic transformation in the post-revolution era and to try to encourage them both to pursue democracy in its fullest sense as well as pursue the kind of international obligations that they’ve maintained in the past.”

Longtime CBS Reporter Bill Plante bluntly told White House Press Secretary Jay Carney today that President Obama’s Supreme Court comments on Monday were an “obvious misspoken moment,” and that Carney was “standing up there twisting yourself in knots because he made a mistake, and you can’t admit it.”

Obama :"under Republicans leadership our weather forecasts would be less accurate" ~ LMAO He is Insane!

Obama on the Paul Ryan budget

“We wouldn’t have the capacity to enforce the laws that protect the air we breathe, the water we drink, or the food that we eat. Cuts to the FAA would likely result in more flight cancellations, delays and the complete elimination of air traffic control services in parts of the country. Over time, our weather forecasts would become less accurate because we wouldn’t be able to afford to launch new satellites and that means governors and mayors would have to wait longer to order evacuations in the event of a hurricane. That’s just a partial sampling of the consequences of this budget.”

Judge Andrew Napolitano: “I Think the President is Dangerously Close to Totalitarianism ~ Video

Judge Andrew Napolitano: “I Think the President is Dangerously Close to Totalitarianism. . . This is an Extreme View of the Supreme Court and the Constitution”

“I think the president is dangerously close to totalitarianism. A few months ago he was saying the Congress doesn’t count – the Congress doesn’t mean anything. I am going to rule by decree and by administrative regulation. Now he’s basically saying the Supreme Court doesn’t count. It doesn’t matter what they think. They can’t review our legislation. That would leave just him as the only branch of government standing. . . . This is an extreme view of the Supreme Court and the Constitution, one that has not been articulated since Andrew Jackson.”

Keep talking Judge. and anyone else that will keep reminding people what Obama said.

Do you notice if you ask people about something Obama has done in the news, too many have no idea. You get a blank look . haha

Judges order Justice Department to clarify Obama remarks on health law case~ GOOD For This Judge!!

Yesterday President Obama said in the Rose Garden of the White House, “I’m confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority, a democratically elected Congress.”

Now an appeals court is demanding Attorney General Eric Holder to clarify the president’s comments. Judge Jerry Smith of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals requested , “I would like to have from you by noon on Thursday, that’s about 48 hours from now, a letter stating what is the position of the attorney general and the Department of Justice in regard to the recent statements by the president, stating specifically and in detail in reference to those statements what the authority is of the federal courts in this regard in terms of judicial review. That letter needs to at least three pages single spaced, no less, and it needs to be specific.”

Charles Krauthammer told Bret Baier on Special Report that, “ObamaCare passed by seven votes, it was a very narrow majority … so on every count he doesn’t have an argument. The liberals are in shock over watching their side being demolished in oral arguments and trying to bully the Supreme Court into ending up on their side.”

Judges order Justice Department to clarify Obama remarks on health law case

FOX News

A federal appeals court is striking back after President Obama cautioned the Supreme Court against overturning the health care overhaul and warned that such an act would be “unprecedented.”

A three-judge panel for the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday ordered the Justice Department to explain by Thursday whether the administration believes judges have the power to strike down a federal law.

One justice in particular chided the administration for what he said was being perceived as a “challenge” to judicial authority — referring directly to Obama’s latest comments about the Supreme Court’s review of the health care case.

The testy exchange played out during a hearing over a separate ObamaCare challenge. It marked a new phase in the budding turf war between the executive and judicial branches.

“Does the Department of Justice recognize that federal courts have the authority in appropriate circumstances to strike federal statutes because of one or more constitutional infirmities?” Judge Jerry Smith asked at the hearing.

Smith also made clear during that exchange that he was “referring to statements by the president in the past few days to the effect … that it is somehow inappropriate for what he termed unelected judges to strike acts of Congress.”

“That has troubled a number of people who have read it as somehow a challenge to the federal courts or to their authority,” Smith said. “And that’s not a small matter.”

Smith ordered a response from the department within 48 hours. The related letter from the court, obtained by Fox News, instructed the Justice Department to provide an explanation of “no less than three pages, single spaced” by noon on Thursday.

Romney’s speech contrasted his desire to “restore America” as opposed to Barack Obama’s effort to radically “transform America.” Romney said what America needs is an “opportunity” society, not Obama’s “Government-centered society.”

Romney: “President Obama thinks he's doing a good job, I'm not kidding. He actually thinks he's doing a great job.

"It's enough to make you think that years of flying around on Air Force One, surrounded by an adoring staff of true believers telling you what a great job you are doing, well, that might be enough to make you a little out of touch"

Threats From Obama He Warns What He Calls 'Unelected' Supreme Court Against Overturning Health Law

Obama warns 'unelected' Supreme Court against striking down health law

FOX News

Obama, employing his strongest language to date on the Supreme Court review of the federal health care overhaul, cautioned the court Monday against overturning the law -- while repeatedly saying he's "confident" it will be upheld.

The president spoke at length about the case at a joint press conference with the leaders of Mexico and Canada. The president, adopting what he described as the language of conservatives who fret about judicial activism, questioned how an "unelected group of people" could overturn a law approved by Congress.

"Ultimately I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented extraordinary event by overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected congress," Obama told reporters today w...hile speaking with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Mexican President Felipe Calderon. "I'm confident that this will be upheld because it should be upheld." Obama concluded.

"I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," Obama said.

The Supreme Court spent three days hearing arguments last week in four separate challenges to the health care law, which stands as the president's signature domestic policy accomplishment. A central challenge was over the individual mandate -- the requirement that Americans buy health insurance. Critics say the mandate is unconstitutional, and that the federal government cannot force people into the insurance marketplace.

Obama on Monday said that without such a mandate, the law would not have a mechanism to ensure those with preexisting conditions get health care.

"I'm confident that this will be upheld because it should be upheld," Obama said, describing the law as "constitutional."

.

Wild Thing's comment......

There he goes again making threats. This is the second time he has bashed and put down the Supreme Court.

How many laws has the US Supreme Court declared unconstitutional?

Per wiki.answers between 1789 and 2002 the supreme court declared 158 laws by Congress unconstitutional. Hardly unprecedented.

Michelle Obama Tells Kids to Convince “Wrong People” to Vote for Us ~ This is Disgusting!!

Michelle Obama Tells Kids to Convince “Wrong People” to Vote for Us

PJ Media

The first lady tried to enlist “Families for Obama” at an event with tickets starting at $500 a pop at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Friday.

The pool reporter estimated that there were a couple dozen kids in the audience of about 350, and Michelle Obama spent much of her speech talking to them.

“I mean, I can’t tell you in the last election how many grandparents I ran into who said, I wasn’t going to vote for Barack Obama until my grandson talked to me, until my great-grandson talked to me, and talked about the future he wanted for this country,” she said.

“You can get out there with your parents. You guys can knock on doors. I had one young lady who brought me a petition — she’s already working. You can convince wrong people. Sometimes we don’t listen to ourselves, but we will listen to our children.”

That petition was handed to her by a Code Pink activist who bought a ticket and handed Obama a “no war on Iran” with a purported 20,000 signatures. The antiwar group said the signatures included Gloria Steinem.

The first lady spent much of her speech talking about the standard campaign themes of fairness, touting the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, healthcare reform, education and killing Osama bin Laden.

Another Attack From Obama, He Says Supreme Court Will Be Guilty of “Judicial Activism” If They Strike Down Obamacare

Says Supreme Court Will Be Guilty of “Judicial Activism” If They Strike Down Obamacare

Politico

Barack Obama voiced confidence Monday that the Supreme Court will uphold his health care law in his first public remarks on the issue since the three days of oral arguments last week.

Obama suggested that the Supreme Court would be guilty of “judicial activism” if it overturned the law, and stressed that he believed the justices would see the individual mandate as an integral part of the law.

“I’m confident that this well be upheld because it should be upheld,” Obama said at a joint news conference with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Mexican President Felipe Calderon.

FBI Kisses Up To CAIR By Removing 876 Pages of Counterterrorism Training Material

FBI Removes 876 Pages of Counterterrorism Training Material Deemed “Offensive” To Muslims

Washington Post

An FBI review of agent training material critical of Islam uncovered 876 offensive or inaccurate pages that had been used in 392 presentations, including a PowerPoint slide that said the bureau can sometimes bend or suspend the law.

The bureau has not released the material, but Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois described a few pages of it in a letter asking FBI Director Robert Mueller to institute five changes so that inappropriate FBI training on Islam doesn’t happen again. On Friday, the FBI confirmed the number of inaccurate or offensive pages and presentations.

The bureau also said the documents that are either offensive or inaccurate have been taken out of training presentations.

Every trainer was identified and interviewed by an FBI inspection team and the team determined that the problems were performance-related — poor judgment or inadequate training — rather than intentional misconduct, said FBI spokesman Michael Kortan.

As a result, instructors were counseled and in some cases removed from training positions.

Durbin said he’s disturbed that the FBI doesn’t plan to produce a written report on the six-month review. He said he wants the agents who received the bad training to be retained.

It began last September after the online publication Wired.com reported that the FBI had discontinued a lecture in which the instructor told agent trainees in Virginia that the more devout a Muslim is, the more likely he is to be violent. The analyst subsequently gave a similar lecture at an FBI-sponsored public-private partnership in New York City.

Senator: Obama ‘fully responsible’ for high gas prices ~ That is TRUE He Is!

The Daily Caller

As the national average price of gasoline rises above $3.80 per gallon, Wyoming Republican Sen. John Barrasso is claiming that President Obama is “fully responsible” for the price at the pump due to his administration’s lack of an energy policy.

“With the Keystone pipeline, 20,000 jobs, lots of money coming in to investment, putting people to work, and more energy coming into the United States — and yet not only did 11 Democrats cross the aisle, but the president actually lobbied against the Keystone pipeline, lobbied the Senate against the pipeline to the point that he had to stop Democrats who may have wanted to vote for it,” Barrasso said alongside Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, at the Capitol Tuesday.

“The president has been a complete obstructionist on that, and his energy policy, if you want to even call it a policy, has in my opinion actually contributed if not caused the pain at the pump, and he should be held fully responsible for what the American public is paying for gasoline.”

President Obama was lobbying Democrats against a measure that would have green lighted the pipeline project.
