The Man In The Santa Claus Suit (1979)

. The Man In The Santa Claus Suit (1979) The mysterious owner of a costume shop rents a Santa Claus suit to three very different men: a math teacher trying to get the nerve to propose, a homeless restaurateur trying to hide from the mob, and a harried political speech writer visiting with his estranged wife and son. Their lives are inexorably changed by their experience of playing Santa Claus.

My husband was in this film.

"Hawaiian Eye" US TV series (1959--63) intro

My husband Nick is the man in the scene with Connie Stevens.

"Hawaiian Eye" US TV series (1959--63) intro

Private investigator Tracey Steele (Anthony Eisley) and his half-Hawaiian partner, Tom Lopaka (Robert Conrad), own Hawaiian Eye, a combination detective agency and private security firm, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Their principal client is the Hawaiian Village Hotel, which in exchange for security services, provides the agency with a luxurious private compound on the hotel grounds.

The partners investigate mysteries and protect clients with the sometime help of photographer Cricket Blake (Connie Stevens), who also sings at the hotel's Shell Bar, and a ukelele-playing cab driver Kim Quisado (Poncie Ponce), who has "relatives" throughout the islands.

Engineer turned detective Greg McKenzie (Grant Williams), joins the agency later on as a full partner, while hotel social director Philip Barton (Troy Donahue) lends a hand after Tracey Steele departs.

Angry Old Salt ~ Nick Dimitri ~ Celebrates 50 Years In ShowBiz Today

Angry Old Salt........he says his impression of a liberal. hahaha

A little time out from politics and a special day for Angry Old Salt.

Today 50 years ago Nicholas ( Angry Old Salt ) entered his career as a stuntman and actor. He went into this career after he finished serving in the US Navy and his first job was a show called " Rat Patrol" starring Christopher George.

His specialities were explosions ( being the person inside in the explosion and set on fire) , car chases, high falls, fights, helicopter stunts hanging from the chopper, goiing from one chopper to a plane, dragged by horses, running on top of moving trains, stunts in water and motorcycle stunts, stair falls and many other things.

He used his first and middle name in his career since the last name is too long and hard for some people to pronounce. haha

His Bio and list of some of the work he has done.

http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0227313/

He has had 11 operations each one on his knees, and elbows over the years. He still goes to the gym 3 days a week and it now takes him about 45 minutes to get as he puts it the ole body able to move in the morning.

During his 50 years as an actor and stuntmen there were 2 years where work was slow so he joined the carpenters union and worked building sets at the studio's.

Some of his favorite people he worked with and became good frieinds with over the years were Elvis ( they also played football together on a football team that a lot of the guys were in at one of the parks in the Los Angeles area. James Garner a really great guy, Dean Martin from his work on Matt Helm and several others.

He was a double for action actors Sean Connery and William Smith among others.

He later became a regular in many of Arnold Schwarzenegger's films, and doubled for the one arm man in the big screen version of "The Fugitive" movie with Harrison Ford.

I have no idea who does these things but when I typed Nick Dimitri into google tons of pages came up. I showed it to Nick and he was amazed that people did things like that about stuntmen/actor.

I wanted to do something on here for Nicholas for this special day. Thank you all for this little time out on a special day. ---- Wild Thing

The Rat Patrol ( intro theme ) TV series in the 60's

They filmed most of The Rat Patrol at Edwards Air Force Base in Calif. And several other locations in Calif.

The series was supposed to appear set in North Africa during World War II, this series chronicles the adventures of a 4-man team of commandos within the Long Range Desert Group

This one is a TV show called " Norliss Tapes" with Roy Thinnes and Angie Dickinson . Nick plays the husband of Angie and he is an artist that goes over the deep end seeking a way to stay alive forever. giggle So he creates a monster and that has to have blood. Kind of a scary movie back then and Nicholas said he had a lot of fun with the part he played.

From the classic horror film The Norliss Tapes, this scene is the finale, where the Demon Sargoth comes to life, only to be trapped in the blood circle of fire. You can see that he is very bummed.

They had contacts on his eyes that made it almost impossible for him to see, so when they broke for lunch, Angie lead him to the lunch wagon and helped him pick out his lunch. haha

Nick kids that the way they had him made up made him look like a Democrat. heh heh

The Final Fight from the movie of 1975, ¨Hard Times¨, starring Charles Bronson

Charles Bronson as Chaney, a street fighter who travels to Louisiana during the Great Depression to make his living in illegal boxing matches. This kind of fighting for money in streets and warehouses was done a lot during that era during the Depression.

Steven Seagal in Out For Justice, Bar Scene!

" 48 Hours"

Nick is the cowboy that is sitting at the table that tells Eddie Murphy off.

The Fall Guy ( TV show series )
Angry Old Salt did several of the stunts on the into and also worked most of the shows

This was funny when he did this ad ( he is on the left). Nicholas has never smoked.Only in this ad. haha

Nick and Elvis on the set of " Kid Galahad"

Statue of Liberty Play

I see strange happenings on TV! No, not horror movies, just Democrats and Republicans trying to give solutions to the price of oil and gas prices. They, with due respect haven't got a clue!!

To me it's simple, OPEC can control oil prices by production of their drilling. And we the USA are like 'chicken little', ' the Sky is falling'. etc. We're like little chicks with our mouths open waiting for our next feeding.

Just as in sports, you have to psych out your opponents.

We should throw our system in the Legislature and the President, propose a fast track on building multiple refineries at record speed and propose drilling anywhere we have a chance for oil.

When that shows up on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and all TV news channels all over the world, the price of oil will fall like a ton of coal.

OPEC will panic and gas prices will be cut in half PRONTO!

And God Said Let There Be Oil

The human being prayed to God for help.
The Lord gave him a brain with more intelligence
then any species on earth.
The human began with the wheel to the promise of
wonderful progress to his kind.
So the Lord gave the human OIL from the earth
because He saw the human could handle it safely.
But the human put it in the hands of terrorists and
the human got into bad trouble which angered the
Lord God.
And He started to punish the humans by making
them think they have such great intelligence that
the humans started to sacrifice their food supply
to do the Lord's work.
Then the human prayed to the Lord God for HELP.
The Lord said ,
" I gave you OIL, now use it right, DON'T TREAD ON ME!"

Angry Old Salt

Listening to Rush this moning do a great job on telling off Schumer
and the democrats about oil and gas. So Chrissie told me to write
what I was telling her. She is posting this for me since I only used
a computer once to send an email. Love watching her on the
computer but rather she do it then me. LOL
Hi to all our friends at her

The Media ~ Spin It, Slant It But Staying Away From The Truth

All the Democrats want to know, they say is what is the President's exit strategy. A question by losers.

They say there's a civil war. They say kids are being killed. They want to Impeach the President because they say he lied to us. They say the sky is falling. Oh that's right, that's another chicken!

When the Heroes in Iraq and Afghanistan perish the Democrats do polls to show we are loosing the war. The war was won in days, but the atrocities by the cowards blowing up every positive move toward democracy, are what is going on now. Because they know the liberal media and the Democrats water at the mouth to show it on TV and exaggerate the negative.

The Islamofascists see that it works to blow up more and more targets and the media helps them. It gives them more fodder to try to get George Bush out of office and put the Democrats back in office. Then they will run around wondering what the hell to do. So they then will have polls to see what to do next.

Today, March 21,2006, the President answered their hair brained questions with intelligent and concise information.

Later on the talk shows they said he was mean to the journalists. The spin is in with the liberals and they are on speed dial.

I thought he was fantastic today!

Pissed Off

The reasons almost 2,000 American personel were murdered are:

1. Our power has made the European countries jealous and bitter. When they saw Saddam was out of power, they knew that they were trumped. Observing that we spared the Republican Guard who were the "Picadors" that were killing our soldiers, the Euros stood back and let us "get ours".

2. When we won the Iraqi war and we did! They realized that all their corrupt dealings with Saddam would come out so they played "hands off".

3. The Democrats meanwhile, are like the Officer who kept egging on the criminalization of Captain Quig until the Mutiny on the Caine was done. But when the court marshall occured he was no where to be found. He would NOT take responsibility!

4. If we weren't so soft in War (where we could easily wipe out ALL the Militants) because we don't want to be looked at as "bad" people. Iraqi would be free and thriving today. It is like going after Cancer only on the surface.

We have been too nice to our socialist Europeans! We saved them in WW11 and they hated us for that. Because it exposed how worthless they are. In the future we should learn from our mistakes and be PROUD of our power! And use it to its fullest extent without feeling guilty!
