Richardson Lowers Obama's Definition Of The Rich But NY Times Lowers It Too
This morning, New Mexico governor Bill Richardson, and enthusiastic supporter of Barack Obama, continued the downward ratchet of the level of income at which Barack Obama intends to confiscate income.
Obama started at #250,000, then said $200,000.
Joe Biden then dropped the bar to $150,000 three days ago.
And now, Bill Richardson is telling us that anyone making over $120,000 will be penalized by an Obama administration.
OH but wait...........Look at this too:
For Incomes Below $100,000, a Better Tax Break in Obama’s Plan
Independent analyses of the presidential candidates’ tax proposals show that those who make less than $250,000 a year would not see their taxes raised under Senator Barack Obama’s plans. Further, Mr. Obama would generally cut taxes more than Senator John McCain would for households with incomes less than $100,000 a year.

Wild Thing's comment.......
This feels like being at an auction.... like I have seen on TV. hahaha
First Richardson, and now the Tiimes....Do I hear $75,000?
Going, going........

Obama's Campaign Worker Speaks Out!!

sarah p Says:
October 27, 2008 at 5:04 am
Ok, I want to clear my conscious a little. Hopefully you could make a blog post to help some fellow clinton supporters out.
I work for a campaign and can’t wait for this week to be over.
I was doing it for a job. I was not a fan of any candidate but over time grew to love HRC.
The internal campaign idea is to twist, distort, humiliate and finally dispirit you.
We pay people and organize people to go to all the online sites and “play the part of a clinton or mccain supporter who just switched our support for obama”
We do this to stifle your motivation and to destroy your confidence.
We did this the whole primary and it worked.
Sprinkle in mass vote confusion and it becomes bewildering. Most people lose patience and just give up on their support of a candidate and decide to just block out tv, news, websites, etc.
This surprisingly has had a huge suppressing movement and vote turnout issues.
Next, we infiltrate all the blogs and all the youtube videos and overwhelm the voting, the comments, etc. All to continue this appearance of overwhelming world support.
People makes posts to the effect that the world has “gone mad”
Thats the intention. To make you feel stressed and crazy and feel like the world is ending.
We have also had quite a hand in skewing many many polls, some we couldn’t control as much as we would have liked. But many we have spoiled over. Just enough to make real clear politics look scarey to a mccain supporter. Its worked, alough the goal was to appear 13-15 points ahead.
see, the results have been working. People tend to support a winner, go with the flow, become “sheeple”
The polls are roughly 3-5 points in favor of Barack. Thats due to our inflation of the polls and pulling in the sheeple.
Our donors, are the same people who finance the MSM. Their interests are tied, Barack then tends to come across as teflon. Nothing sticks. And trust, there were meetings with Fox news. The goal was to blunt them as much as possible. Watch Bill Oreilly he has become much more diplomatic and “fair and balanced” and soft. Its because he wants to retain the #1 spot on cable news and to do that he has to have access to the Obama campaign and we worked hard at stringing him a long and keeping him soft for an interview swap. It worked and now he is anticipating more access. So he is playing it still soft.
This is why nothing sticks.
The operation is massive, the goal is to paint a picture that is that of a winner, regardless of the results.
There is no true inauguration draft or true grant park construction going on. There will be a party, but we are boasting beyond the truth to make it seem like the election is wrapped up.
Our goal is to continue to make you lose your moral. We worked hard at persuasion and paying off and timing and playing the right political numbers to get key republican endorsements to make it seem even more like it was over and the world was coming to an end for you all.
There is a huge staff of people working around the clock, watching every site, blogs, etc. We flood these sites. We have had a goal to overwhelm.
The truth is here. I could go on and on, but you get the picture.
I am saying this because I know HRC was better for the country, and now realize this. I was too late by the time I connected to her. To me Barack was just a cool young dude that seemed like a star. I didn’t know him or his policies, but now I understand more than I care to and I realize his interests are more for him, and the DNC and all working like puppets with dean. I always thought a president wanted the better good for the country. The end result I see is everyone dependent on the government, this means more and more people voting for the DNC. This means the future is forever altered. I don’t see this as america, so I am now supporting John Mccain.
Sarah Palin is a huge threat, and our campaign has feared her like you can’t imagine. If it seems unfair how she has been treated, well its because she has had a team working round the clock to make her look like a fool.
this is a big conspiracy and I am so shocked that its not realized.
We released a little blurb the other day that the Obama campaign was already working on reelection and now putting our efforts towards 2012. This was to make it seem like it was above us to continue caring about 2008. Trust me, its a lie. David is very smart, but its a sticky ugly not very truthful kind of intelligence.
Its not over yet, but I think the machine is working. And its a hill to climb.
I will be quitting my post on nov 5th and my vote will be for John Mccain. Fortunately, my position has been a marketing position and I don’t feel I had any part of anything I would feel guilty for. But I look forward to getting out of this as the negativity and environment upsets me.
I wish you all well, and goodluck.
PS my name is not really sarah. but I am a female and I understand your plight.

Wild Thing's comment..........
I am so glad Mark sent this to me. This is exactly the kind of thing in part and in whole that the left has done in past elections but nothing in comparison to what they have been donig in this one. It has become even bigger then the left has ever done before. Maybe because this time they have more funds due to Obama's huge amount of backing from Arabs and other places, like Soros etc. But it is huge and it also explains a lot of what we have been seeing.
....Thank you so much Mark for sending this to me.

William Ayers' Forgotten Communist Manifesto: Prairie Fire
William Ayers' forgotten communist manifesto: Prairie Fire
Source....
I recommend going to this site and reading the page. It is a quick read, even though it hs a lot of information.

Ann Coulter on Hannity & Colmes discussing about Obama's radical associations and friends and how the media covers for Obama.
Hannity Reveals Shocking Connection between Ayers and Obama
Obama's friend Bill Ayers and his wife wrote a book dedicated to the man who shot and killed Robert Kennedy... the same friend who held fundraisers for Obama a few years ago.
The American people that voted for Obama should be rounded up and imprisoned for putting the country in danger like this. This is a communist takeover of America.

Wild Thing's comment..........
Shaking my head...... never ever in my life, could I have imagined someone like Barack Hussein Obama would be a Senator and then be allowed to run for President. Being part black has nothing to do with it. Obama is a communist and his associations mark him as an enemy of our country.

Obama's Anti-Israel Islamic Pals

Obama's Anti-Israel Islamic Pals
by Sammy Benoit
Khalidi is just one of many.
The controversy surrounding Senator Barack Obama's friendship with Rashid Khalidi, and the tape being suppressed by the Los Angeles Times, is overshadowing the important fact that Khalidi is just one of many Israel-hating Islamic characters that Obama has allied himself with.
For example, these people are connected directly to his Senate office or campaign:
* Cynthia K. Miller, treasurer of his Senate campaign, is a member of a member Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam.
* Jennifer Mason, Obama's Director of Constituent Services, is also a member of the Nation of Islam.
* Other Nation of Islam members, including consultant Shakir Muhammad, held important roles in the Obama state Senate campaign.
And they had their influence. When Obama first ran for the US Senate, he gave militant responses to the Chicago Jewish News about Israel. Obama denounced Israel's fence, which he called a "wall" and "barrier to peace." He favored working with Yasser Arafat. When members of the Chicago Jewish community circulated his responses, Obama said that the answers were not his positions, but the work of a low-level intern. He submitted new answers. But that was a lie, an insider says. In fact, they were the work of Obama's Policy Director, Audra Wilson. Moreover, Obama told the insider that he blamed the Mideast conflict on the Jews: "Barack told me that he felt that the Jewish community was too inflexible, and that was why the situation in the Mideast could not be resolved." (Source: Debbie Schlussel)
There are also some "bigger fish" in Obama's Crew of Anti-Israel Friends:
* The Khalid al-Mansour connection: According to former Manhattan Borough president Percy Sutton, Mansour "was raising money for" Obama's expenses at Harvard Law School. Mansour, a Black American (né Don Warden), became adviser to Saudi prince Al-Walid Bin-Talal, CAIR's largest individual donor. Mansour holds standard Islamist views: he absolves the Islamist government in Sudan of sponsoring slavery; he denies a Jewish tie to Jerusalem; and he wrote a booklet titled "Americans Beware! The Zionist Plot Against S. Arabia." (Both Obama and Mansour deny Sutton's account.)
* The Kenny Gamble (also known as Luqman Abdul-Haqq) connection: Gamble, a once-prominent pop music producer, cut the ribbon to the Obama campaign headquarters housed in a South Philadelphia building he owns. Gamble is an Islamist who buys large swaths of real estate to create Muslim-only residential areas. Also, as the self-styled "emir" of the United Muslim Movement, he has many links to Islamist organizations, including CAIR and the Muslim Alliance in North America. (MANA's "emir" is Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.)
* The Mazen Asbahi connection: The Obama campaign's first Muslim outreach coordinator resigned after it came to light that he had served on the board of a subsidiary of the Saudi-sponsored North American Islamic Trust with Jamal Said, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007 Hamas funding trial. Asbahi has ties to CAIR's Chicago and Detroit offices, to the Islamic Society of North America, yet another unindicted co-conspirator in the Hamas funding trial, and to other Islamist organizations.
* The Minha Husaini connection: The campaign's second Muslim outreach coordinator has an Islamist background, having served as an intern in the Muslim Public Service Network. Immediately upon her appointment by Obama, she met with a group of about 30 Muslims, including such notorious figures as CAIR's Nihad Awad, the Muslim American Society's Mahdi Bray, who has publicly supported Hamas and Hizbullah, and Johari Abdul Malik of the Dar al-Hijrah Mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, who has advised American Muslims: "You can blow up bridges, but you cannot kill people who are innocent on their way to work." (Source: Daniel Pipes) One prominent Palestinian-American will tell you that Obama is hiding his true feelings toward the Jewish State.
So, how can Senator Obama be pro-Israel and have so many anti-Israel buddies? Well, one prominent Palestinian-American will tell you that Obama is hiding his true feelings toward the Jewish State.
Ali Abunimah is a pro-Arab journalist and founder of the Electronic Intifada website. He will tell you that Senator Obama is full of crap when he says that he is pro-Israel: "If disappointing, given his historically close relations to Palestinian-Americans, Obama's about-face is not surprising. He is merely doing what he thinks is necessary to get elected."
Abunimah says that Obama has long been a friend of the Palestinian community, but he knows where the money is. He has changed his position because those in the pro-Israel camp (American Jews?) have the money to get him elected.
So, folks, you see you really don't need the LA Times video to figure out what Senator Obama said at that dinner. It was probably something horribly anti-Israel, like, "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" or that there's been "genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis." Either way, it is clear that those who love the Jewish State should not be voting for him next Tuesday.

Wild Thing's comment..........
This is a good article, I know there is a lot around the internet about the protests at the LA Times and when I saw this article I thought it was important to bring these things up as well.
To think Obama would favor Israel and Jews over his Muslim connection and his very close ties to the Nation of Islam is kidding themselves.

Obama National Anthem
Glenn Beck presents the Obama National Anthem
words sung:
All Hail the Messiah
All hail the messiah Obama! Obama!
The path to the new socialist motherland!
Our savior, our savior Obama! Obama!
The leader more smarter than Lindsay Lohan!
Bow down and praise the One!
Give him your money and your guns!
Give us a country that makes his wife proud!
Lord Barry will heal the bitter ones!
Whites and Clinging to faith and guns!
Hope for the change of the hope of the change!

Wild Thing's comment.........
Remember the rock group The Decemberists that were openers for that rallty Obama had in Portland, where he supposedly had something like 75,000 people attend? That rock group always plays "the old Soviet National anthem" in its entirety before they come on stage. I think that is where Glenn Beck got the idea to make this video. He or whoever did it for him did a good job on it.
Obama's sheep would be more then happy with what is seen in this video. They might even be hoping for it, at least some of them.

Barack Obama's Plans To Change America

The Plot to Overthrow the United States of America
Barrack Obama has dark plans for this country
When asked recently where Obama plans on getting money for the vast number of plans he has he has said bringing the troops home and not spending the money we are spending on the war. He will rip off our military financially, stop funding them is what I get out of this.
All the other politicians that I can remember they all had a past, friends from childhood, people that spoke up that worked with them, family that actually showed up at the DNC convention or in the news. Obama has had none of this. His family from either side did not come to the convention, and he could have paid their way there is he wanted them there. Even when he went to Hawaii, his wife did not go with him to see his WHITE grandmother, nor did Obama's daughters go to see their grandma. How weird is that.
He was a community organizer and yet have any of us heard from people in his Chicago hood that have come forth to tell us how wonderful Obama was and how he helped them as a community organizer. NONE that I have heard about.
We found out Obama has a brother living in a hut and this week we found out he has an Aunt living in the slums. But Barack and Michelle have enough money to help these relatives if they wanted to. Obama speaks of wanting to help those making less then the middle class income and yet his own relatives live in less then acceptable conditions and he does not extend a hand to help them.
The DNC and their minions react with almost rage when we bring up Ayers like it is no big deal and how wonderful Ayers is now to be a Professor according to them. But Ayers is a Professor of anti-American things and is not doing harmless teaching.
We have seen the many ties Obama has to American hating groups, friends that would be or have been listed to be watched by our government. The Black Panthers, Frank Davis a known communist was on a list by our government and this man was a huge mentor of Obama's.
This video has all of that and more, it is well worth watching and one that really should be sent out to others. The video will have things on it you have already seen but there are also new things and added information.
What Daniel Pipes has to say is VERY interesting it is further into the video.
Video Time: 55 minutes ( but well worth every bit of it to see )

PA Arabs in Gaza Campaigning for Barack Obama
PA Arabs in Gaza Campaigning for Barack Obama
A Palestinian Authority newspaper reported on Sunday that Arab residents of Gaza are randomly calling Americans at home in hopes of persuading them to vote for Democratic candidate Senator Barack Obama in next month's US presidential election.
The article in Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, first noted and translated by Palestinian Media Watch, quotes a young man from the Hamas-controlled Gaza region as saying, "We dial random numbers and try to call people in the United States without knowing their identity or their affiliation...." He reportedly uses "Internet sites that allow making free calls... in order to use them for the campaign supporting Obama."
The Al-Hayat Al-Jadida article said, "Most of the Palestinians feel hatred towards USA, whose administrations have always stood by Israel...." The Gaza-based Obama campaigner, Ibrahim Abu Jayyab, "said that a large number of Palestinians dislike their activity..." Those PA residents "do not see any difference between the American politicians Obama and Republican candidate Sen. John McCain because of the hostility that they feel towards America," the report explained.
"But Abu Jayyab's hope is that their activity will have some impact in support of Obama," according to the newspaper report.
Previous Support From Gaza Abu Jayyab's freelance phone campaign for Obama in the last weeks of the American presidential race has not been the first time the Illinois senator has gotten such help. An Al-Jazeera TV report during the Democratic primaries featured Abu Jayyab as well, when he was busy organizing calls to American voters to persuade them to vote for Obama over then-candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton.
Other types of assistance have also been forthcoming from Gaza. In July of this year, Pamela Geller of the Atlas Shrugs blog revealed documents purporting to show that the Obama campaign received nearly $30,000 from two brothers living in Rafiah, in Hamas-controlled Gaza, during 2007.
Earlier, during an April 2008 interview with WABC radio and WorldNetDaily, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh's Gaza-based political advisor Ahmed Yousef said, "Actually, we like Mr. Obama. We hope he will win the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle."
At the time, McCain commented, "I think it is very clear... why Hamas would not want me to be president of the United States, so if Senator Obama is favored by Hamas, I think people can make judgments accordingly."
Obama campaign spokespeople excoriated McCain and noted repeatedly that Obama has called Hamas a terrorist organization worthy of condemnation. In an interview with The Atlantic shortly thereafter, Obama warned people in the Middle East who were enthusiastic over his candidacy not to be "confused about my unyielding support for Israel's security."

Gun Sales Increase Could Predict Election
We’re utterly fascinated by this.
In 2004, we don’t remember hearing about anyone scared Kerry was going to take their guns away - and we worked Pennsylvania for Kerry (Pittsburgh area). There were a lot of gun shops and firing ranges there, and we never heard anything about people stocking up on guns because they were scared Kerry was going to try to take them away.
Obama is perceived as more liberal than Kerry, and in fact the most liberal Democrat that’s run for president in as long as anyone can remember. Biden as VP makes this the most liberal ticket that Democrats have ever fielded. There is nothing about it that puts the bitter, gun-and-relgion-people-who-are-apathetic-to-those-not-like-them living in Pennsylvania at ease.
Absolutely nothing.
In fact, the thought of Obama becoming president freaks these people out. So much so that they’re stocking up on firearms.
We just don’t see how this can bode well for Obama. These are “Reagan Democrats” and Republicans. They’re Clinton Democrats too. And they recoil at the thought of an Obama administration.
Have you ever heard of anything like this? We checked, and can’t see any evidence of this in past elections — where the Democrat so freaked rural, working class, sportsman types out that they felt compelled to stock up on weapons to protect themselves.
We think this is a piece of a larger puzzle…one that’s becoming much more clear as we inch closer to November 4th:
(1) Democrats like us at HillBuzz are working with Republicans for the first time in our lives to elect John McCain/Sarah Palin because we do not like or trust Obama/Biden.
(2) Hillary Democrats not openly working for McCain are silently voting for him — and voting Republican for the first time in their lives in most cases.
(3) Early voting has not met Obama’s expectations — Republicans are tied or ahead in most states, and nowhere is Obama enjoying blowout advantages he claimed he’d have.
(4) In all states, there is a marked “enthusiasm gap” between support for Obama and support remembered for Kerry in 2004 or Gore in 2000…lack of yard signs, stickers, posters, and excitement to vote for Obama, despite what the media claims.
(5) Gun owners afraid of Obama, and stocking up on weapons because they are that freaked out by the thought of anyone voting for him.
We’d love your thoughts on that last one, as we think it could be a cultural barometer like the Family Circle cookie baking contest or Halloween mask sales — something that shows a large scale cultural like or dislike of a candidate.
All of these anecdotal signs point to a McCain win…with those gun sales being the most fascinating of all.
Because those gun owners are the heart of the country. If Obama hasn’t won them over, and instead seems to have driven them away, screaming, then we just don’t see how he wins.

Wild Thing's comment.........
Well yes, what does the left expect when they nominate a Marxist Barack Hussein Obama. Like the article from Hillary's Buzz says even some Democrats as well don't want their guns taken away and not all of them are as left as Obama, Pelosi, Reid and others pushing the communist, Marxist agenda on our country. Add in all the Democrats that are upset, rightly so about their vote literally being stolen from them by Obama and the DNC.
Look at this below, it is very telling of how people on the left (Democrats) have reacted to Obama as the candidate.

OBAMA's TAX PLAN - Penn & Teller and gang return to comment on Barack Obama's socialist plans to turn the United States into a Marxist wasteland!
If you notice, Barack Obama keeps his distance from the American public and does not let them question him one on one. The few instances he's done it, town hall meetings, have been disastrous and he ends up stuttering a bullshit answer.

Actor Robert Davi and Actor and Sen. Fred Thompson Rally for McCain/Palin
Fred Thompson stumps for John McCain with Actor Robert Davi
With less than a week before the election and the polls tightening between the presidential candidates, former Sen. Fred Thompson had one message Wednesday for Berks County Republicans about their nominee, John McCain.
"He's a real closer; you're going to see that," Thompson said. "Don't let the mainstream media and the Democrats ... tell us the election is over."
A lawyer and actor who appeared in "Diehard II" and played District Attorney Arthur Branch on TV's "Law & Order," Thompson is touring on McCain's Straight Talk Express bus with actor Robert Davi, who played a heavy in "Diehard."
Thompson said Obama is asking Americans to put aside every principle they have to elect him.
As an example, he pointed to a 2001 National Public Radio interview when, he said, Obama wished there were language in the Constitution allowing the government to redistribute wealth.
Thompson said the real Obama is not being portrayed in the media.
"The mainstream media is so deep in his pocket, they'll never dig themselves out," he said.

Robert Davi a rare breed, a Republican actor in liberal Hollywood. Right now Davi is starring in the anti-far-left "American Carol,"
Robert Davi comments on the Republican National Convention from backstage at the Xcel Center in St. Paul Minnesota.

This is a GREAT interview of Robert Davi, he talks about our military, Veterans, liberal Hollywood, Sept. 11, being a Republican and many things. --- Wild Thing
A Hollywood Heavy for Bush
By Lee Kaplan
FrontPageMagazine.com | October 12, 2004
Today, many Hollywood celebrities use their fame to air their Leftist political views. Johnny Depp whines about America and lives in France. Sean Penn travels to Iraq to provide sound bites for Saddam. America is attacked and Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, and Janeane Garofalo attack America as the root cause of anti-American hate. Michael Moore produces a propaganda film for the enemy and the cinema community gives him an award.
A few very brave entertainment industry figures who still appreciate their country and what it represents have stood up to the crowd. One such is Robert Davi. Since his debut opposite Frank Sinatra in “Contract on Cherry Street,” Davi has starred in over 60 films, appearing opposite some of Hollywood’s most notable stars, including Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He’s worked with directors Steven Speilberg, Paul Verhoeven, Michael Ritchie, Richard Donner and Blake Edwards. Many consider Davi one of the premier James Bond villains for his portrayal of the Columbian drug lord, Franz Sanchez, in “License to Kill.” He has also appeared in “Goonies, “Diehard,” and the groundbreaking NBC television series, “Profiler.”
Recently, Davi rescued a young girl from a fire and saved her life. KNX radio in Los Angeles recognized his heroism with its Citizen of the Week Award. Also this year, he received the Royal Court of the Golden Lion Award from the Sons of Italy for his work helping children through I Safe America (www.isafe.org), a children’s Internet safety organization for which he is the national spokesperson.
On November 11-14, Davi will join fellow conservatives at the four-day Restoration Weekend in Boca Raton, Florida. Sponsored by the Center for the Study of Popular Culture, the weekend features Senators Zell Miller, Jeff Sessions, John Sunnunu and Jim Bunning, Human Rights hero Natan Sharansky, Swift Boat vet John O'Neill, Vietnam hero Bud Day, pundits Dick Morris and Pat Caddell, and conservative writers Michelle Malkin, Victor Davis Hanson and David Horowitz.
I caught up with Davi as he prepared for the shooting of his newest film, “Gilgamesh,” a pre-biblical epic in which he stars alongside Peter O’Toole and Omar Sharif. We discussed Hollywood’s transformation into a bastion of the left.
KAPLAN: Many outspoken liberal celebrities in Hollywood have created the image that the town is dominated by the Left. Why do there seem to be fewer overtly outspoken actors and show-business personalities on the Right today?
DAVI: During the 1930’s, you had the Group Theater, in New York, that included a lot of members who were politically Marxist/Leninist. There was a different overall sentiment at the time however. World War II inspired a strong patriotism among Hollywood celebrities and American society in general. Then, in the 1950’s there was the period of McCarthyism and the Red Scare that made a lot of people nervous, so they were less vocal than we see today. In the 1960’s, Noam Chomsky began his anti-American campaign, as David Horowitz has outlined in his recent book, The Anti-Chomsky Reader. That’s a fantastic book. When I hear other Hollywood celebrities like Janeane Garofalo speak about America, she sounds just like Chomsky.
KAPLAN: I usually find that people like her are not that knowledgeable. They should read Horowitz’s book.
DAVI: They’re knowledgeable and unknowledgeable. They should read all of David Horowitz’s books. When they speak, they not only denigrate President Bush but America also. When Garofalo is speaking, her words convey a strong anti-American sentiment. What I hear from them is this Chomsky-like revisionist propaganda that always attacks America first. It’s an attack on America without any historical perspective or reference, always blaming America for the ills of the world. It’s always ignoring or excusing the atrocities committed by Communists and other adversaries of the Untied States. Even a discussion of slavery, a five-thousand-year-old institution, somehow ends up as an attack on America. Slavery was certainly not an American invention. America fought a civil war to get rid of slavery and became a better country because of it. Were there post-slavery race problems? So we had the Civil Rights movement. That is what America is really all about.
In the 1960’s John F. Kennedy was able to galvanize society—and Hollywood followed suit. The Civil Rights movement was a protest, but in a way that strengthened America. The revisionists ignore the positive and distort what Kennedy stood for. John Kennedy was a Zell Miller Democrat.
KAPLAN: Why does it seem there are fewer conservatives speaking out today in Hollywood?
DAVI: That’s the second difference. Back then you had the studio system. Actors were under contract and under the control of the studio management. Many of those studio heads were immigrants who escaped from undemocratic societies and revered America. Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke about America as an immigrant society to be revered for its democratic principles at the Republican Convention. Today there’s a different tone in Hollywood because power is in different hands. Some actors and celebrities wield their own power today.
KAPLAN: You mean like Sean Penn practicing foreign policy by going to Iraq, or Johnny Depp saying he prefers France to America because of America’s politics?
DAVI: I think there’s a fear today in Hollywood of coming forward as a conservative. I find it interesting that the Screen Actors Guild made a statement a few months ago that speeches made by members with left-leaning messages should not be ostracized. I found that odd that the Guild should be afraid of conservatives when today in Hollywood we are a minority. The statement seemed designed to distance them from conservative points of view.
KAPLAN: What do you think about the election and how Hollywood is reacting to it?
DAVI: There is an almost visceral prejudice against George W. Bush by many in Hollywood, bordering on being totally irrational.
KAPLAN: You feel people in Hollywood have an unfair view of President Bush?
DAVI: I see a disconnection between Hollywood and the administration after the 2000 election. During the recount in Florida, I spoke to friends in Hollywood who felt they were “disenfranchised.” As for myself, I thought it was almost a divine intervention how the dispute turned out: the week of 9/11, some people who told me they felt disenfranchised during the recount told me, “Thank God Bush was in office at that moment, instead of his opponent!” Mayor Giuliani said the same thing. They felt much safer with President Bush in office. I think Bush is absolutely the right man at the right time, and thank God he’s in office. Many of my friends who didn’t vote for him said so, too.
But it only took three weeks after we went into Afghanistan to change all that. Now, as we get further away from 9/11, it seems like the left-wing media has begun to interject more politics into the war effort. I travel around the world on location shooting, and when I see how CNN presents the United States, it’s negative. When I’m watching CNN in Budapest, London, Paris, and other foreign countries—until recently all you had was CNN when traveling overseas—the message is always skewed against America. That network is totally biased. If people overseas are constantly exposed only to negative messages about America, no wonder they react a certain way. Here we have shows like Scarborough Country on MSNBC, and Fox News, to give some balance. Even when CNN has commentators to present a conservative point of view, they are weak or inarticulate and not up to the heavyweights from the other side. For example, James Carville up against Tucker Carlson. Does that seem like a heavyweight match to you?
KAPLAN: I don’t see either of them as heavyweights.
DAVI: Their debates seem almost about who can make the most noise.
KAPLAN: Let’s discuss your background. Were you always a conservative?
DAVI: Yes, more or less. In the 1960’s, I grew up in an Italian-American family in which we discussed politics. My father, uncle and grandfather all served in the military.
My grandfather served in World War I and was awarded a Purple Heart and Oak Leaf Cluster. He was an Italian immigrant who enlisted in the U.S. Army infantry. Several of my uncles were in the Navy and fought in the Battle of Midway. My father was also in the Navy, as a gunner on a Merchant Marine ship which was torpedoed by a submarine. He spent three days on the open sea in a raft and was also awarded a Purple Heart. Until his death at age 53, my dad would put on his Navy uniform and raise the American flag on every Fourth of July and Memorial Day. So when we speak about supporting our troops today, as well as during Vietnam, it has special meaning for me.
I remember there was always a lot of political discussion around the dinner table. My Uncle Mike was a staunch Republican. My immediate family were John F. Kennedy Democrats because Kennedy was the Catholic president. As kids, my cousin Michael Jr. and I would perform mock political debates and record them for our families, portraying the political figures of the day. My Uncle Mike was always advocating Republican ideas. He was an authority figure for my cousin and myself, and I suppose out of youthful rebellion we would sometimes turn a deaf ear to his conservative point of view.
My dad was a member of the Knights of Columbus. I remember when he came home one day—I must have been about 12 years-old—and he gave me two books, None Dare Call It Treason by John Stormer and Masters of Deceit by J. Edgar Hoover. After reading them, my Uncle Mike’s point of view didn’t seem so out of sync. This was during the mid-1960’s, and both books had a profound effect on me. They discussed how America was going to be attacked from within, through our education system and through weakening homeland defense. They frightened and alarmed me. Now, since time has moved on, we see that things predicted in those books have occurred.
I began to see the anti-American sentiment growing during the 1960’s and 1970’s—the Vietnam era—and I began to notice what was going on around me. Then came the Reagan years. But I was still focused mainly on my acting career.
By the 1980’s, my career was in full swing. I was able to take more interest in world affairs as an adjunct to my career. Since then I’ve been an avid reader of political books, among them The Art of Political War and Radical Son by David Horowitz. I also read books by Ann Coulter and Christopher Hitchens. I eventually met David Horowitz. I just finished reading Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left, one of the most important books for our current times—and I urge everyone, if they do nothing else, they should read this book. I feel that strongly about this.
KAPLAN: You mentioned earlier threats posed to America from within. FrontPage has been dealing with this sort of thing in our educational system through Students for Academic Freedom.
DAVI: I am aware of that. I became sensitized to these issues by what was going on in my own daughter’s private school, where it seems a majority of the teachers have a left-wing agenda. The Center for the Study of Popular Culture made me aware of how 90% of college instructors also have left-wing political views and how that affects education in this country. Just before mock presidential elections at my daughter’s school, the pupils were given Time Magazine for Kids to read an article, Leader of the Pack: John Kerry. It discussed Kerry’s views on terrorism and education in a very slanted and positive way, while President Bush’s agenda and policies were all presented negatively. I passed this same article among seven or eight adults of different political viewpoints at my home, and all of them agreed the article was biased. The students were all told to read that one article and then vote. If you only give an eighth grader one point of view to read, with no balance, what are you going to get? My daughter said Kerry won, hands down.
During a parent-teacher evening at her school, my daughter’s history teacher, who seemed like a nice enough man, told all the parents “We’re going to show America, warts and all.” I asked him why he didn’t say he was going to show some of the great things America has done as well as some mistakes America may have made in the past. It was almost as if he had the perception that the parents would be glad he brought up the “warts” of America. I’m not saying that we should blindly be taught something in an uneducated manner, but when something is slanted this way....
KAPLAN: America, the great imperialist in the world?
DAVI: Exactly. I also think this usurps the child’s respect for the parents, since the teacher becomes the new authority figure for the child in school. There’s something very insidious about this.
KAPLAN: What do you think about the presidential campaign? What about the Swift Boats controversy vs. President Bush’s National Guard service?
DAVI: Here’s what I think. First, it’s amazing to me that most Americans don’t remember that it wasn’t Bush who wanted the courts to decide the 2000 election—Gore did. But even today, some try to make that a divisive issue during this election campaign. As for Kerry, nobody’s questioning his love for America. But he was the one who put Vietnam in the public eye. I have enormous respect for anyone who served in Vietnam. My hat’s off to all the veterans. I can’t talk because my draft number was 308 and I was sweating over the draft the same as everyone else back then. But the way I see it, if I’m in battle with someone and come home with the troops still there and I behave as he did, it’s not right. From what I understand, those weren’t his medals that he threw away. They were surrogate medals. He kept his medals and threw away his ribbons. What’s the difference? It goes right to the character of the man trying to have it both ways. If you’re really saying something, then throw the whole thing away. What he did coming back, put a big question in my mind about Kerry.
You can’t equate what Bush did or didn’t do 30 years ago with what’s happening now. Bush didn’t put Kerry’s service on the table. Bush didn’t go around bragging about his National Guard service. It’s irrelevant. Instead of 30 years ago, we need to discuss today. I’d like Kerry to say where he is today. I’d like him to discuss his Senate record. I don’t want him to answer me by attacking Bush.
The major issues today are the Middle East, Iraq and terrorism. I think they are broad subjects. Criticism of Bush about the war in Iraq is just politicizing the war in an election year. Imagine if Bush did not send American forces into Iraq. Before we went in, the world was concerned that Iraq was a threat. Regardless of the outcome, if we did not go in to disarm Hussein from WMDs, the Democratic Party today would be campaigning and complaining that he did not do anything about Saddam Hussein until now, that he endangered American security by not taking action. Iraq would still be a major part of the terrorist network, with camps all over that country, such as the training camps at Salman Pak. Hussein paid $25,000—then raised it to $30,000—to every family of the suicide bombers attacking Israel. Even some Americans were killed in those attacks. Abu Nidal and Abu Abbas would still be a threat.
For the left it’s about dividing the country, a purely political agenda for the Democrats. The other side talks about President Bush dividing the people, but, the truth be told, the attacks on President Bush about Iraq are not going to unify the country in the long run. And this is a time when we should be unified.
KAPLAN: What else do you think about the Middle East situation and Iraq? Is President Bush on the right track?
DAVI: Yes. A lot of people don’t know about the Iraqi flag. Between 1991 and the 1993 bombing attack on the World Trade Center, the Iraqi flag changed. Hussein wrote “Allahu Akhbar” on it. To me, that was an open door to militant Islam.
KAPLAN: I write extensively on the Middle East and was unaware of that.
DAVI: In my mind, you have to make the observation that the Iraqis were moving toward working with al-Qaeda and militant Islam, [working] with the terrorists. In 1988, I played a Palestinian terrorist who was kidnapped and brought back to the U.S. to face trial in "The U.S. vs. Salim Ajami." I did a lot of research for that project and the role I played.
KAPLAN: You received critical praise for your portrayal of a Palestinian terrorist that was objective and sensitive. But the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee claimed the film was anti-Arab.
DAVI: George Englund, who produced the film, actually had the script vetted by the Arab League to be objective. And as an actor, I had to be objective and be the character, to portray his point of view as if it were my own. I’m a kid from New York, an actor, and I didn’t know anything about the PLO. I went into that role a clean slate, not having the issues at hand, but in my research I made sure I had an understanding of the region. I met people from Algeria, Syria, Palestinians, even members of the PLO.... I met with the Israeli Consul General and even with the Museum of Tolerance to understand the nature of the piece. Ron Liebman played my defense attorney, and Sam Waterston played the prosecutor.
I broke down during the making of the film. I flashed at one point to Martin Luther King’s funeral, to a rickety old wagon being drawn by two mules that I had seen on TV that represented to me the human struggle—either we all pull it apart or all pull it together. My character was defended by a Jewish defense attorney, but our ideologies were different. After that piece, I felt there should be a Palestinian state; I thought if you give them their own governance, all would work out. But when I went to Jordan in 1994 to shoot "The Return of the Pink Panther," many of the older Arabs kept telling me “We will push the Jews into the sea,” and kept repeating it. Some of the younger ones said they didn’t believe that. I believe Israel has to exist. The suicide bombings are irrational. King Hussein’s family asked me if I’d teach a seminar on acting there. I told them I’d consider it if they’d put 50 million dollars into a bank to make million-dollar movies, to bring writers and directors to the region committed to the idea of using the money to pay people for better ideas rather than bullets.
KAPLAN: So you believe Israel has a right to exist?
DAVI: Of course—needs to exist, has a right to exist. I think the Palestinians have a right to exist also, but their leadership has betrayed them.
KAPLAN: I believe a Palestinian state will be another Iran.
DAVI: It’s a vital issue that needs to be resolved. It seems to be mired in a sea of information, but I am learning, through FrontPage, historical facts and current information about the Israel-Palestine dispute all the time. Recently, I found out about Hamas using ambulances paid for by U.S. tax money to transport weapons to kill people in Israel—even though Israel is withdrawing from Gaza. Regarding the security fence, if I have people trying to enter my home and kill my children, I would want a fence to protect them and keep the killers out. The security fence should be there until the PLO puts down its weapons and arrests the terrorists. Then they can negotiate borders. How can anyone be expected to negotiate when someone is trying to kill their children? One side calls the security fence a wall, but it’s in fact only a huge wall for about one quarter of a mile. The rest is barbed wire and mesh fencing, much as we have on our own border with Mexico. I’m angered that they say the security fence is a wall. It’s a wall that saves lives. What’s wrong with that?
A lot of films have been made about the Holocaust, but still anti-Semitism continues.
This upsets me. Take a look at what’s happening in Europe. In France, Jews are being attacked openly on the streets. I spoke to a Chasidic Jew I met recently while working on a film in Canada. “You must come to Israel,” he told me. I told him I was a little bit nervous to do so, with all the terrorism. But he told me, “You must come to Israel and see what a pluralistic society it is.”
It’s shocking what is going on in the colleges in America. Like when Bill O’Reilly revealed that Sami al-Arian, the head of a major terrorist organization was teaching the next generations in our universities. It’s truly frightening.
Why do there seem to be many Jews who are opposed to George W. Bush? There seems to be a major disconnection from reality with that. Bush would not invite Arafat to the White House—and still hasn’t, as long as he has been in office. People need to know that. I meet many Jews who are of progressive views but who fail to see how things have shifted, how the Left is now posing a real threat to Jews around the world. I can see this clearly, and I’m not even Jewish.
KAPLAN: Do you believe the Jews run Hollywood?
DAVI: That’s a statement I hear from the media, part of the media myth. I guess it comes from the old Group Theater days (that grew out of the Yiddish Theater). The Goldwyns, the Mayers, the Warner Brothers, the early studio chiefs were Jewish. I don’t see it like that.
KAPLAN: Besides the Restoration Weekend coming up, where will you lecture, and what other conservative groups have you spoken to?
DAVI: There’s the Sunday Night Club. It’s a group of about 150 people in the entertainment business who are actors, writers, production people and models who want to speak in a Republican way. It’s a nice symposium. We have other speakers also. We meet periodically. I recently was on Scarborough Country and on [Neil] Cavuto on Fox. And I am the national spokesman for I Safe America for kids. I’ve been their spokesman for seven years. Recently, it’s been funded by Congress as an Internet safety program for kids in America. I’m also working on a program, Civilian Patrol 93 [The “93” represents Flight 93, whose passengers tried to overpower their 9/11 hijackers]. We will be working and training with several community outreach groups, training people to help Homeland Security. Sort of like the National Guard, but not military. Civilians can be the eyes and ears to help the infrastructure of America. The Department of Homeland Security is working on it right now.
I’m also on the Steering Committee of the Homeland Security Policy Institute at George Washington University. I’m the only civilian. I work with corporate CEO’s and major players in national security. William Sessions, formerly of the FBI, James Woolsey, formerly of the CIA, and the U.S. Army’s former Chief of Staff, Edward “Shy” Meyer, are among a large panel made up of many of America’s best and most experienced leaders, both from business and military backgrounds, lending their expertise to help protect America.
KAPLAN: Were you appointed by President Bush?
DAVI: I Safe America is a non-partisan organization with a celebrity board. The Homeland Security Institute was different. I was chosen by people who know me. I’m also on the Board of Directors of the Center for the Study of Popular Culture, David Horowitz’s outfit.
KAPLAN: I didn’t know that! (Laughter)
DAVI: David Horowitz has credibility when it comes to politics. He really knows where all the bodies are buried. I have a lot of respect for him.

Wild Thing's comment.........
Robert Davi is a friend, he came to our Christmas parties we had when we lived in California. When we watched the GOP convention and I knew he was donig the voice overs for some of the McCain videos and now this article with Davi and Fred Thompson traveling and speaking for McCain/Palin I thought I would share with you this interview I have that Robert did back in 2004.
He is a good guy and the other interviews in the videos also are fun to watch where he talks about the difference in Obama and McCain and the other video where he talks about Michael Moore etc.
I hope you enjoy all of this.

Bill Clinton Speaks At Penn State Small Crowd Compared To Gov.Sarah Palin's

Clinton draws 1,500 people in Penn State compared to the 7,000 plus and 1000's that had to be turned away at Gov. Sarah Palin Rally at Penn State.
Former President Bill Clinton, in his fourth visit to Penn State in 12 years, campaigned for Barack Obama on Wednesday, saying “we need a president who wants to understand.”
How much have we suffered from people who did not want to understand?” he added.
Clinton delivered a 22-minute speech Wednesday afternoon before about 1,500 people — mostly Penn State students — in Rec Hall, where Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin held a rally the night before that drew about 7,000.

Wild Thing's comment.......
YUK, I wouldn't go to hear any speaker that spoke about how I needed understanding for my suffering. He assumes I suppose that his entire audience is sufffff-errr--ing.... Like some horrible soap opera. haha
How boreing and being a Democrat there is no way Clinton could make a person feel positive. Just more of the hope in the air baloney and how awful America is ......to them anyway!
It would be soooo depressing to be a Democrat voting for Obama, how awful life would be if that is all I had to look forward to. A communist wanting to keep me needy to the big ole government.

Traitor To America and Our Troops Murtha Vs. Lt. Colonel Bill Russell (USAR ret.) HERO!
Murtha continues his tirade in the 12th Congressional District. In this FOX NEWS report he says NO God damn way.
Taking Murtha Down?
Voters are beginning to realize that the longtime congressman does not share their values, says Russell.
“What Mr. Murtha did was attribute the lowest possible motivations to our voters,” he says. “The people in this area tend to vote their values. To say that they are simply racist because they won’t vote for Obama overlooks the fact that Senator Obama has an almost radical pro-abortion platform, as well as a very anti-gun platform. This shows that Murtha has clearly lost touch with the voters.”
Russell, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, says this isn’t the first time Murtha has outraged his constituents. In 2005, Murtha, a former Marine, called for an immediate and complete troop withdrawal from Iraq. Two years ago, he called U.S. Marines accused of killing civilians in the Iraqi city of Haditha “cold-blooded murderers.”
“The most vehemently anti-Murtha people I meet are Marines,” Russell says. “They believe he threw them under the bus with his Haditha comments. Overall, veterans have been very, very positive toward me.” He estimates that 90 percent of veterans in the district will choose him over Murtha.
Russell’s campaign has also questioned what Murtha has done to help the economically depressed area, despite securing hundreds of millions of dollars in earmarks.
“After 35 years of earmarks -- earmarks that have hurt business development here -- our biggest export is our adult children,” Russell says, adding that Murtha has voted against coal development in the region.
Russell also says the Murtha campaign has engaged in voter intimidation.
“Back in the early part of my campaign, when I was doing ballot petitions, I had about 15 people tell me ‘Look, I can vote for you, but I can’t sign your petition or donate to your campaign because I or my wife will get fired,’” Russell says. “People were afraid to sign public documents for fear of retribution.”

Wild Thing's comment.........
If Murtha gets elected AGAIN after what he has said about our troops, our Marines, then I think those that voted for this POS Murtha, this scum, low life not worth the air he breaths Murtha, deserve the worst kind of karma possible. They do NOT love Amercia, they do NOT respect our military PERIOD! They will be my enemy and I hope those living in Murhta and Russell's area will realize how the rest of Anmerica feels about their vote, that it effects all of America, all of our military not just their world where they live.
The RNC has provided $84,000 to the Russell campaign to put up a TV ad on local stations this week ( source HERE )
The National Republican Congressional Committee will spend $84,000 on an ad that quotes Murtha's recent remarks calling his district racist - as well as past statements about U.S. military personnel killing innocent civilians in Iraq - and ends with the word, "Enough."
....Thank you Mark for sending this to me.

BOOM! Obama Speechwriter Switches to McCain

Obama Speechwriter Switches to McCain
Imagine if a speechwriter for John McCain had switched sides and announced she was going to vote for Barack Obama. Would she not be featured bigtime in the mainstream media complete with new thrills running up Chris Matthews leg? Well, this did happen except that it was an Obama speechwriter, Wendy Button, who became disillusioned with The One and switched to supporting McCain.
Here are the highlights of Wendy Button's explanation of why she made the switch:
Since I started writing speeches more than ten years ago, I have always believed in the Democratic Party. Not anymore. Not after the election of 2008. This transformation has been swift and complete and since I’m a woman writing in the election of 2008, “very emotional."
When we first met, Obama and I had a nice conversation about speeches and writing, and at the end of the meeting I handed him a pocket-sized bottle of Grey Poupon mustard so he wouldn’t have to ask staff if it was okay to put it on his hamburger. At the bottom of the bottle was the logo for “The South Beach Diet” and he snapped, “Oh so you read People magazine.” He seemed to think that I was commenting on his bathing suit picture.
I helped with his announcement speech and others. I worked in the Senate when he was in D.C. One day after a hearing on Darfur, we were walking back to the office. I was still hobbling from a very bad ankle injury and in a very kind and gentle way he offered his arm when we approached the stairs. But later in debate preps and phone conversations and meetings, I realized that I had made a mistake. I didn’t belong. No matter how hard I tried, my heart wasn’t in it anymore.
...The final straw came the other week when Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher (a.k.a Joe the Plumber) asked a question about higher taxes for small businesses. Instead of celebrating his aspirations, they were mocked. He wasn’t “a real plumber,” and “They’re fighting for Joe the Hedge-Fund manager,” and the patronizing, “I’ve got nothing but love for Joe the Plumber.”
Having worked in politics, I know that absolutely none of this is on the level. This back and forth is posturing, a charade, and a political game. These lines are what I refer to as “hooker lines”—a sure thing to get applause and the press to scribble as if they’re reporting meaningful news.
As the nation slouches toward disaster, the level of political discourse is unworthy of this moment in history. We have Republicans raising Ayers and Democrats fostering ageism with “erratic” and jokes about Depends. Sexism. Racism. Ageism and maybe some Socialism have all made their ugly cameos in election 2008. It’s not inspiring. Perhaps this is why I found the initial mocking of Joe so offensive and I realized an old line applied: “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party; the Democratic Party left me.”
The party I believed in wouldn’t look down on working people under any circumstance. And Joe the Plumber is right. This is the absolutely worst time to raise taxes on anyone: the rich, the middle class, the poor, small businesses and corporations.
...Not only has this party belittled working people in this campaign from Joe the Plumber to the bitter comments, it has also been part of tearing down two female candidates. At first, certain Democrats and the press called Senator Clinton “dishonest.” They went after her cleavage. They said her experience as First Lady consisted of having tea parties. There was no outrage over “Bros before Hoes” or “Iron My Shirt.” Did Senator Clinton make mistakes? Of course. She’s human.
But here we are about a week out and it’s déjà vu all over again. Really, front-page news is how the Republican National Committee paid for Governor Sarah Palin’s wardrobe? Where’s the op-ed about how Obama tucks in his shirt when he plays basketball or how Senator Biden buttons the top button on his golf shirt?
...Governor Palin and I don’t agree on a lot of things, mostly social issues. But I have grown to appreciate the Governor. I was one of those initial skeptics and would laugh at the pictures. Not anymore. When someone takes on a corrupt political machine and a sitting governor, that is not done by someone with a low I.Q. or a moral core made of tissue paper. When someone fights her way to get scholarships and work her way through college even in a jagged line, that shows determination and humility you can’t learn from reading Reinhold Niebuhr. When a mother brings her son with special needs onto the national stage with love, honesty, and pride, that gives hope to families like mine as my older brother lives with a mental disability. And when someone can sit on a stage during the Sarah Palin rap on Saturday Night Live, put her hands in the air and watch someone in a moose costume get shot—that’s a sign of both humor and humanity.
Has she made mistakes? Of course, she’s human too. But the attention paid to her mistakes has been unprecedented compared to Senator Obama’s “57 states” remarks or Senator Biden using a version of the Samuel Johnson quote, “There’s nothing like a hanging in the morning to focus a man’s thoughts.”
...I was dead wrong about the surge and thought it would be a disaster. Senator John McCain led when many of us were ready to quit. Yet we march on as if nothing has changed, wedded to an old plan, and that too is a long way from the Democratic Party.
I can no longer justify what this party has done and can’t dismiss the treatment of women and working people as just part of the new kind of politics. It’s wrong and someone has to say that. And also say that the Democratic Party’s talking points—that Senator John McCain is just four more years of the same and that he’s President Bush—are now just hooker lines that fit a very effective and perhaps wave-winning political argument…doesn’t mean they’re true. After all, he is the only one who’s worked in a bipartisan way on big challenges.

Wild Thing's comment.......
Oh my gosh this is huge. Now we wait and see if the media will pick up on this. Tapping my foot........hahahaha well nothing from CNN yet. haahaha
I bet FOX will cover this later today if they haven't done it so far.
This woman could have just simply left the Obama campaign so for her to speak out and switch like this is awesome. I like the way she broke it down in her reasons for getting fed up with Obama and his camp.

Obama Accepting Untraceable Donations

Obama Accepting Untraceable Donations
By Matthew Mosk
Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign is allowing donors to use largely untraceable prepaid credit cards that could potentially be used to evade limits on how much an individual is legally allowed to give or to mask a contributor's identity, campaign officials confirmed.
Faced with a huge influx of donations over the Internet, the campaign has also chosen not to use basic security measures to prevent potentially illegal or anonymous contributions from flowing into its accounts, aides acknowledged. Instead, the campaign is scrutinizing its books for improper donations after the money has been deposited.
The Obama organization said its extensive review has ensured that the campaign has refunded any improper contributions, and noted that Federal Election Commission rules do not require front-end screening of donations.
In recent weeks, questionable contributions have created headaches for Obama's accounting team as it has tried to explain why campaign finance filings have included itemized donations from individuals using fake names, such as Es Esh or Doodad Pro. Those revelations prompted conservative bloggers to further test Obama's finance vetting by giving money using the kind of prepaid cards that can be bought at a drugstore and cannot be traced to a donor.
The problem with such cards, campaign finance lawyers said, is that they make it impossible to tell whether foreign nationals, donors who have exceeded the limits, government contractors or others who are barred from giving to a federal campaign are making contributions.
"They have opened the floodgates to all this money coming in," said Sean Cairncross, chief counsel to the Republican National Committee. "I think they've made the determination that whatever money they have to refund on the back end doesn't outweigh the benefit of taking all this money upfront."
The Obama campaign has shattered presidential fundraising records, in part by capitalizing on the ease of online giving. Of the $150 million the senator from Illinois raised in September, nearly $100 million came in over the Internet.
The Obama team's disclosures came in response to questions from The Washington Post about the case of Mary T. Biskup, a retired insurance manager from Manchester, Mo., who turned up on Obama's FEC reports as having donated $174,800 to the campaign. Contributors are limited to giving $2,300 for the general election.
Biskup, who had scores of Obama contributions attributed to her, said in an interview that she never donated to the candidate. "That's an error," she said. Moreover, she added, her credit card was never billed for the donations, meaning someone appropriated her name and made the contributions with another card.
When asked whether the campaign takes steps to verify whether a donor's name matches the name on the credit card used to make a payment, Obama's campaign replied in an e-mail: "Name-matching is not a standard check conducted or made available in the credit card processing industry. We believe Visa and MasterCard do not even have the ability to do this.

Wild Thing's comment......
This is another reason why the left does not like the Patriotic Act.
My guess is that Obama knows most of his contributions are illegal and he could care less. He does not have to be accountable on anything so why should he worry. Demcorats are the party of not having to be accountable.
This was on FOX this morning. They explained that the Obama's campaign does not have AVS turned on for it's credit card processing on donations (AVS = Address Verification Service).
They said a lot, a ton of money was coming in from Europe and all kinds of other placles. Fox went on to list some of the names: Adolf Hilter, Yogi Bear, William Ayers.

Clinton Appointed Judge Rules Ohio Homeless Voters May List Park Benches As Addresses

Judge rules Ohio homeless voters may list park benches as addresses
COLUMBUS, Ohio
A federal judge in Ohio has ruled that counties must allow homeless voters to list park benches and other locations that aren't buildings as their addresses.
U.S. District Judge Edmund Sargus also ruled that provisional ballots can't be invalidated because of poll worker errors.
Monday's ruling resolved the final two pieces of a settlement between the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless and Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner.
The coalition agreed to drop a constitutional challenge to Ohio's voter identification law until after the Nov. 4 election. In return, Brunner and the coalition agreed on procedures to verify provisional ballots across all Ohio counties.
The coalition was concerned that unequal treatment of provisional ballots would disenfranchise some voters.

Wild Thing's comment.........
Due to ACORN and so much voter fraud this is absolutely just ludicrous. It is not about not wanting Americans to vote it is about making sure there is no way for fraud. This opens up a whole mess if they do this. Wouldn't it be better to have the homeless register at a Homeless shelter or a church, that way it can be more accurate and less chance of voting fraud. What the hell kind of address is a park bench!
What address do they use if they are someone that gets a Social security check?? Maybe that address is one they can use. A person is supposed to be able to verify that you are a resident of the state. How can that be verified using a park bench as an address?
This whole voting thing is so corrupt it is starting to lose it's meaning. I know that sounds radical but this voter fraud is really making me feel insecure about my vote, about all of our votes and I don't like it one bit!
I want to win or lose honestly not because a ton of corrupt democrats and ACORN and Judges put the fix in so they win an election. This is America for pete's sake! Damn, democrats!!! They undermine and destroy confidence in the election process. ACORN will now register 139 people per park bench.
What the heck is next, Federal Judge in Ohio Rules Dead Can Still Vote: “They’re still American citizens and have rights. Just because you’re dead doesn’t mean you give up your civil rights. AND they have a known address
Ohio sure wants to elect Barack Hussein Obama!
With all of this happening, this is another reason I am sooo glad the reaction to Gov. Sarah Palin has been so awesome. McCain and Palin are doing great and I am getting a stronger feeling about how we will do every day. Obama is messing up a lot. And there are people out there that have not voted yet and they also must be noticing all this cutting of interviews with TV stations, the $2 Million Biden is having to answer for he got for his family and the 2001 audio tape of Obama which was huge. Just keep praying!!!!!
Information on Judge:

And look at this.....................
HOMELESS ‘DRIVEN’ TO VOTE OBAMA ACORN OHIO VOTER FRAUD
CLEVELAND - Volunteers supporting Barack Obama picked up hundreds of people at homeless shelters, soup kitchens and drug-rehab centers and drove them to a polling place yesterday on the last day that Ohioans could register and vote on the same day, almost no questions asked.
The huge effort by a pro-Obama group, Vote Today Ohio, takes advantage of a quirk in the state’s elections laws that allows people to register and cast ballots at the same time without having to prove residency.
Republicans have argued that the window could lead to widespread voter fraud because officials wouldn’t have an opportunity to verify registration information before ballots were cast.
Among the volunteers were Yori Stadlin and Vivian Lehrer of the Upper West Side, who got married last week and decided to spend their honeymoon shepherding voters to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
Early today, Stadlin’s van picked up William Woods, 59, at the soup kitchen of the Bishop Cosgrove Center.
“I never voted before,” Woods said, because of a felony conviction that previously barred him from the polls. “Without this service, I would have had no way to get here.”

Obama's Stealth Reparations

Obama's Stealth Reparations
By Paul Sperry
While he was an Illinois state senator, Barack Obama told a Chicago radio show host that he sought "major redistributive change" for the benefit of fellow blacks.
He was speaking in the context of the civil rights movement, and how it had fallen short of "economic justice." Although John McCain and other Republicans are afraid to say it, his remarks can only be interpreted to mean one thing: economic reparations for slavery.
This is yet another example of Obama's lack of candor and deception about his true radical agenda during this campaign, as well as the mainstream media's failure to vet such serious issues and force them out into the open where voters can see them and have a fair chance to evaluate them before they go to the polls.
In 2001, Obama said it's a "tragedy" the Constitution wasn't radically interpreted to force redistribution of wealth for blacks, and it's still an issue of concern for him today. And he suggested he wants to effect "major redistributive change" through legislation.
He complained that during the civil-rights era, "the Supreme Court never ventured into issues of redistribution of wealth" for blacks, and that the Warren Court was not "radical" enough.
"One of the tragedies of the civil-rights movement was there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change," he said while serving as a state lawmaker and University of Chicago lecturer. "And in some ways, we still suffer from that."
That was in 2001. Now those coalitions, led by ACORN and other radical urban community organizers, hope to deliver Obama to national power along with a legislative majority working on their behalf.
"Maybe I'm sharing my bias here as a legislator, but I'm not optimistic about bringing about major redistributive change through the courts," he added. "The institution just isn't structured that way."
Obama explained that justices felt uncomfortable forcing school districts to pay the extra expense to make the necessary changes to accommodate their desegregation rulings. They would rather not get involved in issues of direct remuneration. Legislators, on the other hand, would have no such qualms about making people pay.
He said the process of redistributive change and "economic justice" is "administrative and takes a lot of time" -- things that are best left to a federal administration and legislature.
In a separate interview, he said the framers of the Constitution had an "enormous blind spot" regarding slavery -- no argument there. But then he said that the Constitution -- in spite of its subsequent proper amendments giving blacks full citizenship and rights -- still "represents the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day."
This echoes what he wrote in his 2006 autobiography about the Constitution being "marred by the original sin of slavery."
Question: Does Obama want to further amend the Constitution in some way? It seems he thinks something is missing, left undone. Does he want to institutionalize reparations somehow? It's a serious question he should be compelled to answer, if he would only give reporters outside his fawning entourage a chance to ask it. (He hasn't held a press conference in over a month.) Remember, Obama was a constitutional lawyer and would know how to get the amendment ratification process started with the right majority in Congress behind such a movement.
Back in August, Barack Obama said Washington shouldn't just offer apologies for slavery, but also "deeds." Don't worry, he said, he wasn't talking about direct reparations.
I wasn't put at ease then, and I'm definitely not now.
"I consistently believe that when it comes to ... reparations," Obama told a gathering of minority journalists, "the most important thing for the U.S. government to do is not just offer words, but offer deeds."
A few days later, he clarified his remarks, saying he was not calling for direct cash payments to descendents of slaves, but rather indirect aid in the form of government programs that will "close the gap" between what he sees as white America and black America.
In other words, stealth reparations.
He says government should offer "universal" programs -- such as universal health care, universal mortgage credits, college tuition, job training and even universal 401(k)s -- that "disproportionately affect people of color."
Obama's 2006 book and Web site outline a plan calling for essentially a government bailout of the inner cities, which he describes as "repositories for all the scars of slavery and violence of Jim Crow."
Among other things, he proposes:
* Doling out federal grants "targeting ex-offenders or substance abusers";
* Subsidizing supermarket chains that relocate to the inner city;
* Creating a "universal 401(k)" in which the government would tax private contributions and match public contributions made into new retirement accounts by low-income families;
* Imposing "goals and timetables for minority hiring" on large corporations whose work forces are deemed too white;
* Ramping up funding for the Community Development Block Grant program, Head Start and HUD public housing subsidies.
* Funding Small Business Administration loans for minority; businesses who train ex-felons, including gangbangers, for the "green jobs" of the future, such as installing extra insulation in homes;
* Doubling the funding for federal after-school programs such as midnight basketball;
* Subsidizing job training, day care, transportation for inner-city poor, as well as doubling the funding of the federal Jobs Access and Reverse Commute program;
* Expanding the eligibility of the earned income tax credit to include more poor, and indexing it to inflation;
* Adopting entire inner-city neighborhoods as wards of the federal government; and
* Spending billions on new inner-city employment programs, including prison-to-work programs.
This is just a down payment on the "economic justice" Obama has promised the NAACP -- financed by "tax laws that restore some balance to the distribution of the nation's wealth," he says in his book.
And the indirect aid he's proposing now could quickly turn into cash transfers once Obama is safely ensconced in the White House -- with perhaps a filibuster-proof majority of Democrats at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue.
Claiming "blacks were forced into ghettos," Obama is certainly sympathetic to the idea of reparations. His church has actively petitioned for them for decades. And he's strongly suggested there's a legal case to be made for them.
"So many of the disparities that exist in the African-American community today can be directly traced to inequalities passed on from an earlier generation that suffered under the brutal legacy of slavery and Jim Crow," he said. "We still haven't fixed them."
He assumes the economic gap is a legacy of discrimination and largely unrelated to personal responsibility. He also makes it seem things haven't gotten better for blacks, despite statistics showing enormous economic gains and a rising black middle class ("Better isn't good enough," he insists). He also assumes, like his spiritual mentor Rev. Jeremiah Wright, that America is "still run by racism." Obama claims "institutional racism" still exists in America, without offering any evidence that legalized discrimination still remains in this country, even in its most backwater parts.
Another Obama confidante, Rev. Michael Pfleger, has asserted that white people have a moral obligation to surrender their 401(k) funds and other assets, which he suggested properly belong to blacks.
Obama himself has said more needs to be done to "cleanse America of its original sin." He said he cannot "brush aside the magnitude of the injustice done, or erase the ghosts of generations past, or ignore the open wound, the aching spirit, that ails this country still."
"The problems of inner-city poverty arise from our failure to face up to an often tragic past," Obama said.
He also wrote in his recent autobiography that he sympathizes with militant black activists who fear that "white Americans will be let off the hook" for past crimes, such as "a hundred years of lynching under several dozen administrations."
"I understand these fears," Obama said, and agrees that the government has a "responsibility to make things right," suggesting there is at least some legitimacy to militant demands for payback.
In calling for a "new order," he invoked the memory of abolitionists and their "willingness to spill blood and not just words ... that helped force the issue of a nation half slave and half free."
Apparently, Obama is under the delusion such a division still exists in this country, and that radical action must be taken to unshackle blacks from whatever fetters he imagines are holding them back.
"I'm reminded that deliberation and the constitutional order may sometimes be the luxury of the powerful," Obama said. "And that it has sometimes been the cranks, the zealots, the prophets, the agitators and the unreasonable -- in other words the absolutists -- that have fought for a new order." By cranks, zealots and agitators, he is no doubt referring to all the radicals -- from Wright and Pfleger to Frank Marshall Davis and Bill Ayers -- with whom he has surrounded himself.
Just what is this "new order" he and all his absolutist pals have in mind for America? And why keep it such a mystery from voters?

Wild Thing's comment...........
Barack Hussein Obama wants to shred the Constitution, and destroy our Republic.
The lives of brave Americans that fought, were injured and died to stop slavery means nothing to Obama and his ilk. It was not enough, not even close. They keep showing us how it meant nothing to them. So Obama also forgets he is descended himself from slave owners. Hello Obama!
This is as we all know not even a drop in the bucket of what Obama would like to happen.
Socialism is communism and it means the State will run our lives.Obama is stealth alright, he is a stealth Marxist or stealth communist have your pick all bad whichever it is. I sure as heck don't want this, no way. I have been praying so hard Obama does not win.
Obama hates our Constitution because he dismisses it and he doesn't like it, he wants to change it, he doesn't like its limits on government, he looks at that as a problem. The limits of power on government in the Constitution, represents a problem to Obama.
Obama wants to get judges on the bench that will invent law. as Rush Limbaugh explained the other day. I agree, Obama can't just go and change our Constitution he has to do it with Judges messing with it and that will be easy as President, he just has to hand pick Judges that will do it for him.
If you have the time this is soooo good. I wish that each one of you here and those lurking would listen to this. Rush Limbaugh is speaking about ..........

Pennsylvania Rallies Yesterday With McCain/Palin
Sarah gave three speeches in three different towns and would have given a fourth that got cancelled due to bad weather. God bless her. God blessed us with her.

Palin wows crowd at Shippensburg rally
"Our opponent is not being honest on his tax plan," said Palin.
Palin told the crowd, "Sen. Obama has an ideological commitment to high taxes."
"We have a pro-growth, pro-private sector agenda to get our economy back on track," said Palin.
Report on Governor Palin's Shippensburg Rally from Virginia Ridgerunner
"Shippensburg University, featuring Governor Palin and her husband Todd
There had to have been over 10,000 people show up to support Governor Palin. Inside, they all said the Pledge of Allegiance and the singer asked all the veterans present to raise their hands. There were a couple of hundred of them.
In her speech, Sarah talked about Obama concerning that 2001 interview on Chicago Public Radio in which he laid out his "spread the wealth" ideology and condemned the courts for not being more radical in "distributive change." She really took Barry to the woodshed on that, and then began hitting him hard with one issue after another, especially on taxes. In short, she said that both McCain and herself were committed to across the board tax cuts for everyone, including capital gains taxes and small business taxes.
She also announced that she was firmly behind coal as an energy source, and that she thought it was stupid that we were sending billions of dollars overseas in turn for foreign oil from governments which hate us when we could be spending those billions here developing our own internal energy supplies. Her speech was repeatedly interrupted by chants of "Sarah! Sarah! Sarah!" and "USA! USA! USA!", with regular choruses of boos anytime she brought up Obama's shady plans for the future.

Iraqi Terrorist To Hang for Killing U.S. Soldiers

Iraqi Militant to Hang for Killing U.S. Soldiers
BAGHDAD — An Iraqi court has sentenced a militant to death by hanging for the grisly killing of three U.S. soldiers in 2006.
Ibrahim al-Qaraghuli is one of three suspected Al Qaeda in Iraq militants who went to trial for the killings. The other two — Walid al-Kartani and Kazim al-Zubaie — were found not guilty for lack of sufficient evidence.
It is not immediately clear whether the two will be released from custody. All three are Iraqis and have been in custody for at least a year.
The killing of the three 101st Airborne Division soldiers was one of the most brazen attacks against U.S. forces since the Iraq war began in 2003.
And some more information from........
The soldiers were ambushed June 16, 2006 while at an isolated checkpoint near the Euphrates River, at a time of particularly intense fighting in predominantly Sunni areas just south of Baghdad. At the time, the area was known as the Triangle of Death.
One soldier was found dead at the site of the checkpoint. The two other 101st soldiers were kidnapped, sparking a massive search effort by the military. Their mutiliated bodies were found three days later at a nearby power station, tied together and booby-trapped with roadside bombs.
An al-Qaida linked group later posted a Web video showing the bodies of the two soldiers being dragged behind a truck, then set on fire.
The evidence against the three included fingerprints collected from the truck, which was later found abandoned, along with written testimony from villagers who saw the bodies being dragged, according to U.S. military investigators.
Ibrahim al-Qaraghuli, a 29-year-old farmer, was convicted in the deaths of David J. Babineau, 25, of Springfield, Mass.; Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston; and Pfc. Thomas Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore.
The other two Iraqis on trial — Walid al-Kartani and Kazim al-Zubaie — were acquitted for lack of sufficient evidence, but it was not immediately clear whether they would be released from custody. All three men have been in custody for at least a year.
"We would have liked to have the three convictions," U.S. Col. Rafael Lara, an adviser to the Iraqi court system, told reporters after the verdict was announced.
He said the trial showed that "the rule of law is back to Iraq and being forced equally by an independent judiciary. We honor the Iraqi court and we respect this decision."

Wild Thing's comment..........
Notice how the writer of the article which originally came from AP called the killer “a militant”. Al Qaeda basically claimed credit! Prayers for the families of these soldiers.
