Nevada State Assemblyman, Marine Vet: Marco Will Keep Us Safe

Nevada State Assemblyman, Marine Vet: Marco Will Keep Us Safe

Nevada State Assemblyman Derek Armstrong is a Marine Corps Staff Sergeant veteran and a member of Nevada’s Homeland Security Commission. Here’s what he has to say about Marco’s national security record:

For the first time since World War II, our armed forces are at risk of being ill-equipped to handle the ever-growing and dynamic threats we face abroad. Under Barack Obama’s presidency, our military has faced neglect and disdain, as our weapons systems have been cut and our military leaders ignored. Marco Rubio has fought these cuts that have harmed our military and broken our sacred compact with our men and women in uniform to ensure they are never sent into a fair fight.

As president, Marco will reverse the damage President Obama has inflicted on our military and restore it to readiness levels not seen since the last decade.

For example, the Obama Administration has pursued efforts to weaken our close air support capability by attempting to retire the A-10 Thunderbolt. The A-10 is a vital piece of the American arsenal that our ground troops in Afghanistan and Iraq repeatedly call upon for rapid and overwhelming firepower from the skies. As our soldiers and marines have stated time and again, there is no other aircraft in our military’s arsenal that can provide the same type of devastating low-flying air protection.

In the Senate, Marco has consistently voted for the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the most recent of which blocked the A-10’s retirement, provided platform upgrades, restored necessary personnel and support, and ensured the fleet would remain flying for years to come.

It is critically important that our warfighters are able to maintain a state of cutting-edge technological readiness through advanced operations facilities such as Nellis Air Force Base here in Nevada, where state-of-the-art unmanned aerial vehicles are remotely operated.

This installation supports some of our most important reconnaissance assets and provides our military leaders with an unparalleled ability to monitor global theaters of operation thousands of miles away. This is another reason why Marco has consistently voted for the NDAA, which also provided increased resources for training of unmanned systems pilots and joint terminal controllers. When Marco is president, he will prioritize the growth and support of our strategic reconnaissance and surveillance capacities overseas.

The 2014, 2015, and 2016 NDAAs all included provisions prohibiting the Defense Department from conducting a new round of base closures — protecting vital facilities such as Nellis Air Force Base and Naval Air Station Fallon.

Other candidates tout their strong support for military readiness, but their records say something entirely different. For example, Senator Ted Cruz voted against the NDAA three times, effectively voting to deny funding to our armed forces and voting against these key provisions that benefited Nevada. One can only assume that if he would consistently vote against the NDAA, he would veto it if elected president. This dangerous posturing has no place in the White House.

If we continue down our current path, we are at risk of having the smallest Air Force this country has ever seen. When Marco is president, he will put an immediate stop to this trend and put our armed forces back on track to maintaining their status as the most feared military in world, able to strike anywhere at a moment’s notice. Marco will help ensure that Nevada continues to play an important role in ensuring that our military can fulfill this responsibility.

Decision looms for Army sergeant who protected Afghan boy

Decision looms for Army sergeant who protected Afghan boy

FOX News

The decorated Army sergeant who protected an Afghan boy from a child molester could find out any day whether his actions will end his career in the military.

Sgt. First Class Charles Martland, a Green Beret with an 11-year Special Forces career, was stationed in Afghanistan in 2011 when the boy's mother came to him and said she'd been beaten and her son raped by a local police commander. Martland and another soldier summoned the police official and, when the man laughed at them, threw him off the base. Martland and Daniel Quinn were both disciplined for their actions.

Last year, amid military cuts, the Army Human Resources Command recommended Martland be discharged in part based on his disciplinary record, but an official decision by U.S. Army brass is expected by March 1.

“Charles did the right thing in Afghanistan by standing up to a child rapist and corrupt commander, and now it’s the Army’s turn to do the right thing and reverse the decision to expel him from the service.” - Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA)

“Charles did the right thing in Afghanistan by standing up to a child rapist and corrupt commander, and now it’s the Army’s turn to do the right thing and reverse the decision to expel him from the service,” said Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., whose office has been assisting Martland. “Permitting Charles to continue serving is in the best interest of the Army and the nation.”

Supporters mounted an online petition backing Martland and separately, 93 members of Congress have called for an investigation into the military's silence in the face of rampant sexual abuse of children in Afghanistan.

While Quinn left the military voluntarily, Martland, who graduated in 2006 from Special Forces Qualification Course, has always seen himself as a lifer. After a deployment to Iraq in 2008, he deployed to Afghanistan in January 2010 as part of a 12-man unit. He and his team found themselves fighting large numbers of Taliban militants in the volatile Kunduz Province.

Martland was awarded a Bronze Star with Valor for his actions. According to one evaluation, he also was praised by Gen. David Petraeus, then commander of U.S. and allied forces in Afghanistan.

Wild Thing's comment...........

I fully support this soldier defending a child of any nationality!!!

"After acting to protect a child from sexual assault from an Afghan commander, SFC Martland was punished and could be kicked out of the military at any time," said Jay Sekulow, of the American Center for Law and Justice.

Veterans Leader Sean Parnell: Marco Has the Best Record on VA Issues

Veterans Leader Sean Parnell: Marco Has the Best Record on VA Issues

Sean Parnell is a highly decorated combat veteran of the war in Afghanistan and is the New York Times bestselling author of Outlaw Platoon. He is also the co-founder of the American Warrior Initiative.

Here’s what he has to say about Marco’s leadership on veterans’ issues:

As a retired Army veteran wounded in Afghanistan, I have seen countless examples of true leadership and commitment to those who have served our nation in uniform. Sadly, these qualities have been sorely missing over the past seven years at both the commander-in-chief level and at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This year’s presidential election is a chance to put these issues front and center and elect a president who can actually reverse course, rebuild our military, and honor our veterans with real, fundamental reforms at the VA.

There are many solid candidates running for the GOP nomination, all of which say good things about fixing the VA. All would be better than Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders—each an apologist for a failed VA bureaucracy. I firmly believe America’s veterans deserve a president who isn’t just outraged with the VA’s ongoing problems and scandals, but also has a proven record of doing something about it.

That is why, as a long-time advocate for veterans and VA reform, I feel a responsibility to set the record straight about the candidate who has truly made veterans issues a priority, doggedly fought for VA accountability, and ultimately gotten results for veterans. I can attest to the fact that Senator Marco Rubio is that kind of leader — because I have seen it firsthand.

Before the VA’s recent scandals even became public and rocked our nation, Senator Rubio teamed up with House Veterans Affairs Committee Chairman Jeff Miller to introduce the VA Management Accountability Act of 2014, which would give the VA secretary the authority to fire VA managers who were failing at their jobs. To Senator Rubio, it didn’t take a scandal for him to spring into action and lead on this accountability issue; he had already seen the cases of terrible treatment come through his Senate office—and resolved to take action. To Senator Rubio, this was also personal, as he saw his older brother, a former Green Beret, embroiled in a years-long dispute with the VA over dental care for an injury sustained while serving.

One would think that Senator Rubio’s proposal for firing the people responsible for the VA scandals would find unanimous support in Congress, but it didn’t. Entrenched public sector unions opposed the bill, as did their congressional allies, including then-Senate VA committee chairman Bernie Sanders who blocked it. Undeterred, Rubio worked at it, showing his passion for veterans but also the leadership skills to get things done for us. As he worked to advance the bill, there were no headlines to be had and it was an uphill battle — yet Senator Rubio and his staff persisted.

He went out and rallied public support for it. He quietly reached across the aisle and convinced Democrats and Republicans alike to co-sponsor the bill on its merits, resulting in a majority of senators backing it. Although then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid refused to hold a vote on it, Rubio would not accept defeat. Every day seemed to expose a new failing of the VA under President Obama and, when the House and Senate passed different bills to fundamentally reform the VA, Rubio was asked to join the conference committee that negotiated a final bill – even though he does not even serve on the veterans committee that usually works on these issues.

Ultimately, Rubio succeeded in getting new VA accountability measures passed into law as part of a larger VA reform bill. But when it comes to helping our veterans, he’s not done. He has aggressively stayed on top of the administration to fully implement this law and fire all VA managers who are responsible for failing our veterans. He is again working with Jeff Miller on a new bill, the VA Accountability Act of 2015, which would expand the VA secretary’s firing authority to any VA employee that fails our veterans — a commonsense measure that the VA unions again oppose, that Senate Democrats are determined to block and that President Obama has already threatened to veto.

In addition to prioritizing and fully implementing these accountability measures at the VA, Rubio’s record and agenda offer additional proof that he’d be a president that takes care of our veterans and makes sure they have opportunities to achieve the American Dream after their service to our country is complete. Among many issues he has championed, Senator Rubio supports fundamentally reforming our VA health system and giving veterans real health care choices when the VA fails to take care of them. He knows it’s not just about accountability, but also giving veterans choices to access VA care or care from private providers. Senator Rubio and his office are always looking for the best ideas to help veterans, and always ahead of the curve on real policy reform.

South Carolina voters and veterans will soon go to the polls to choose a president and commander-in-chief. There are lots of strong options. But if fixing the VA, rebuilding our military, and doing right by our veterans is a top priority for you, then Senator Rubio should be your first and only choice. I can attest that he is fully committed — and capable — of putting an end to the bureaucratic nightmares that have plagued the VA and our veterans altogether. We deserve nothing less.

Hillary Clinton has a bone to pick with critics, so fetch your slippers and sit up — up! up! up! — and listen. The beleaguered Democratic coronation candidate offers her rendition of Who Let The Dogs Out in an attempt to dig up a bone in South Carolina. This apparently has something to do with fact checking critics, but, er … that dog won’t hunt, especially for Hillary:

Obama To Sign U.N. Climate Change Treaty Despite Supreme Court Ruling Against It

Obama To Sign U.N. Climate Change Treaty Despite Supreme Court Ruling Against It

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The United States will sign the Paris Agreement on climate change this year regardless of the Supreme Court’s decision to put a chunk of President Barack Obama’s environmental action on hold, the U.S. climate envoy said on Tuesday.

Todd Stern also said that Obama’s successor, even if it is a Republican, would be unlikely to scrap the Paris deal as to do so would have negative diplomatic implications.

The U.S. Supreme Court this month put on hold regulations to curb carbon dioxide emissions mainly from coal-fired power plants, prompting speculation the United States and other nations could delay formal signature of the Paris Agreement, reached in December.

Stern told reporters in Brussels he was confident Obama’s Clean Power Plan would survive.

“It is entirely premature, really premature to assume the Clean Power Plan will be struck down but, even if it were, come what may, we are sticking to our plan to sign, to join,” Stern said.

Wild Thing's comment.............

Obama just loves signing things into law even if he is told firmly he can't.

Trump LIED About There Not Being WMD in Iraq

Report: Hundreds of WMDs Found in Iraq

FOX News

June 2006

Report: Hundreds of WMDs Found in Iraq

Published June 22, 2006 FoxNews.com

The United States has found 500 chemical weapons in Iraq since 2003, and more weapons of mass destruction are likely to be uncovered, two Republican lawmakers said Wednesday.

"We have found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, chemical weapons," Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., said in a quickly called press conference late Wednesday afternoon.

Reading from a declassified portion of a report by the National Ground Intelligence Center, a Defense Department intelligence unit, Santorum said: "Since 2003, coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent. Despite many efforts to locate and destroy Iraq's pre-Gulf War chemical munitions, filled and unfilled pre-Gulf War chemical munitions are assessed to still exist."

He added that the report warns about the hazards that the chemical weapons could still pose to coalition troops in Iraq.

"The purity of the agents inside the munitions depends on many factors, including the manufacturing process, potential additives and environmental storage conditions. While agents degrade over time, chemical warfare agents remain hazardous and potentially lethal," Santorum read from the document.

"This says weapons have been discovered, more weapons exist and they state that Iraq was not a WMD-free zone, that there are continuing threats from the materials that are or may still be in Iraq," said Rep. Pete Hoekstra, R-Mich., chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

The weapons are thought to be manufactured before 1991 so they would not be proof of an ongoing WMD program in the 1990s. But they do show that Saddam Hussein was lying when he said all weapons had been destroyed, and it shows that years of on-again, off-again weapons inspections did not uncover these munitions.

Hoekstra said the report, completed in April but only declassified now, shows that "there is still a lot about Iraq that we don't fully understand."

Asked why the Bush administration, if it had known about the information since April or earlier, didn't advertise it, Hoekstra conjectured that the president has been forward-looking and concentrating on the development of a secure government in Iraq.

Offering the official administration response to FOX News, a senior Defense Department official pointed out that the chemical weapons were not in useable conditions.

"This does not reflect a capacity that was built up after 1991," the official said, adding the munitions "are not the WMDs this country and the rest of the world believed Iraq had, and not the WMDs for which this country went to war."

The official said the findings did raise questions about the years of weapons inspections that had not resulted in locating the fairly sizeable stash of chemical weapons. And he noted that it may say something about Hussein's intent and desire. The report does suggest that some of the weapons were likely put on the black market and may have been used outside Iraq.

He also said that the Defense Department statement shortly after the March 2003 invasion saying that "we had all known weapons facilities secured," has proven itself to be untrue.

"It turned out the whole country was an ammo dump," he said, adding that on more than one occasion, a conventional weapons site has been uncovered and chemical weapons have been discovered mixed within them.

Hoekstra and Santorum lamented that Americans were given the impression after a 16-month search conducted by the Iraq Survey Group that the evidence of continuing research and development of weapons of mass destruction was insignificant. But the National Ground Intelligence Center took up where the ISG left off when it completed its report in November 2004, and in the process of collecting intelligence for the purpose of force protection for soldiers and sailors still on the ground in Iraq, has shown that the weapons inspections were incomplete, they and others have said.

"We know it was there, in place, it just wasn't operative when inspectors got there after the war, but we know what the inspectors found from talking with the scientists in Iraq that it could have been cranked up immediately, and that's what Saddam had planned to do if the sanctions against Iraq had halted and they were certainly headed in that direction," said Fred Barnes, editor of The Weekly Standard and a FOX News contributor.

"It is significant. Perhaps, the administration just, they think they weathered the debate over WMD being found there immediately and don't want to return to it again because things are otherwise going better for them, and then, I think, there's mindless resistance to releasing any classified documents from Iraq," Barnes said.

The release of the declassified materials comes as the Senate debates Democratic proposals to create a timetable for U.S. troops to withdraw from Iraq. The debate has had the effect of creating disunity among Democrats, a majority of whom shrunk Wednesday from an amendment proposed by Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts to have troops to be completely withdrawn from Iraq by the middle of next year.

At the same time, congressional Republicans have stayed highly united, rallying around a White House that has seen successes in the last couple weeks, first with the death of terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, then the completion of the formation of Iraq's Cabinet and then the announcement Tuesday that another key Al Qaeda in Iraq leader, "religious emir" Mansour Suleiman Mansour Khalifi al-Mashhadani, or Sheik Mansour, was also killed in a U.S. airstrike.

Santorum pointed out that during Wednesday's debate, several Senate Democrats said that no weapons of mass destruction had been found in Iraq, a claim, he said, that the declassified document proves is untrue.

"This is an incredibly — in my mind — significant finding. The idea that, as my colleagues have repeatedly said in this debate on the other side of the aisle, that there are no weapons of mass destruction, is in fact false," he said.

As a result of this new information, under the aegis of his chairmanship, Hoekstra said he is going to ask for more reporting by the various intelligence agencies about weapons of mass destruction.

"We are working on the declassification of the report. We are going to do a thorough search of what additional reports exist in the intelligence community. And we are going to put additional pressure on the Department of Defense and the folks in Iraq to more fully pursue a complete investigation of what existed in Iraq before the war," Hoekstra said.

Ranch Owner Describes Scene Of Justice Scalia’s Death, Including ‘Pillow Over His Head’

San Antonio

A first-time guest to the Cibolo Creek Creek Ranch, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was animated and engaged during dinner Friday night, as one of three dozen invitees to an event that had nothing to do with law or politics, according to the ranch owner.

Just hours later, he would be found dead of apparent natural causes, which media outlets reported on Sunday was a heart attack.

“He was seated near me and I had a chance to observe him. He was very entertaining. But about 9 p.m. he said, ‘it’s been a long day and a long week, I want to get some sleep,” recalled Houston businessman John Poindexter, who owns the 30,000-acre luxury ranch.

When Poindexter tried to awaken Scalia about 8:30 the next morning, the judge’s door was locked and he did not answer. Three hours later, Poindexter returned after an outing, with a friend of Scalia who had come from Washington with him.

“We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bed clothes were unwrinkled,” said Poindexter.

And this.................

Source

Judge declared it a heart attack without looking at the body, but after talking with Scalia’s doctor. Scalia has already been embalmed.

Wild Thing's comment................

When we found out about his death, Nick said to me I bet he was murdered, after reading this there is no doubt in my mind.

One of the most important people in America is found dead by himself in a secluded hotel room and no autopsy. Only complete fools or murderers would allow that to happen. Unbelievable.

From the linked article:

After arriving at 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, the Sunset Funeral Home embalmed
Scalia’s remains, according to Chris Lujuan, a funeral home manager.
Embalming is required by Texas law before a body can be transported out
of state.

Clinton Foundation Subpoenaed By State Dept Investigators

Investigators with the State Department issued a subpoena to the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation last fall seeking documents about the charity’s projects that may have required approval from the federal government during Hillary Clinton’s term as secretary of state, according to people familiar with the subpoena and written correspondence about it.

The subpoena also asked for records related to Huma Abedin, a longtime Clinton aide who for six months in 2012 was employed simultaneously by the State Department, the foundation, Clinton’s personal office, and a private consulting firm with ties to the Clintons.

The full scope and status of the inquiry, conducted by the State Department’s inspector general, were not clear from the material correspondence reviewed by The Washington Post.

70 years later, WWII Veteran Norwood Thomas reunites with wartime girlfriend in Australia

70 years later, WWII Veteran Norwood Thomas reunites with wartime girlfriend in Australia

A 93-year-old World War II veteran from the United States embraced his wartime girlfriend in Australia in their reunion Wednesday after more than 70 years apart.

Norwood Thomas and 88-year-old Joyce Morris laughed as they wrapped their arms around each other after Thomas flew from Virginia to the southern Australian city of Adelaide to reconnect with his long-lost love.

"This is about the most wonderful thing that could have happened to me," Thomas said, in a reunion broadcast on Channel 10's "The Project."

"Good," Morris replied with a laugh. "We're going to have a wonderful fortnight."

Morris was a 17-year-old British girl and Thomas was a 21-year-old paratrooper when they first met in London shortly before D-Day. After the war, he returned to the U.S. The pair wrote letters to each other, and Thomas asked Morris to come to the U.S. to marry him. But somehow Morris misunderstood and thought he'd found someone else, so she stopped writing.

The two eventually married other people. Thomas' wife died in 2001; Morris divorced her husband after 30 years.

Last year, Morris asked one of her sons to look for Thomas online, and they found his name featured in an article about D-Day that ran in The Virginian-Pilot.

Thomas and Morris reconnected via Skype. After their story went public, hundreds of people made donations to help fund Thomas' trip to Australia from his hometown in Virginia Beach.

The two are planning to spend Valentine's Day together.

At Least A Dozen Email Accounts Handled ‘Top Secret’ Intel On Clinton Server

FOX News

At least a dozen email accounts handled the “top secret” intelligence that was found on Hillary Clinton’s server and recently deemed too damaging for national security to release, a U.S. government official close to the review told Fox News.

The official said the accounts include not only Clinton’s but those of top aides – including Cheryl Mills, Huma Abedin, Jake Sullivan and Philippe Reines – as well as State Department Under Secretary for Management Patrick Kennedy and others.

A second source not authorized to speak on the record said the number of accounts involved could be as high as 30 and reflects how the intelligence was broadly shared, replied to, and copied to individuals using the unsecured server.

JEANINE PIRRO: Let's talk to the viewer. Let's talk to the public. They're like, "Who cares about her emails? Could you explain why these are so important?

ANDREW NAPOLITANO: These are important because they show the manner and methods by which the United States government acquires foreign intelligence. And they name the names of people who supply United States intelligence. People in foreign countries, who if their names came out, they would be dead. They name the names of American agents who work with these people, people who if their names came out would be dead.

...she has shown a cavalier attitude about preserving these secrets, which violates an oath she took when she became Secretary of State. Which violates the same federal criminal statute that was used to prosecute General Petraeus. ... LIAR and Impeached Bill Clinton: Hillary Wasn’t Responsible For Benghazi Consulate’s Security

Bill Clinton: Hillary Wasn’t Responsible For Benghazi Consulate’s Security

Ambassador Stevens, who begged the State Department for security, certainly seemed to think she was.

Former president Bill Clinton suggested Sunday that his wife Hillary Clinton was not responsible for the security of the Benghazi consulate while she was secretary of state, claiming she had been absolved by a “very tough report” on the 2012 terrorist attack.

“A non-partisan, very tough report on the Benghazi incident said there were serious holes in the way we provided for security, not just for the two State Department employees who lost their lives, one of them was a very close friend of ours, but for the two CIA contractors who were there trying to provide defense,” Clinton said. “But the secretary of state was not personally responsible because no secretary of state had ever overseen the details of security operations, even Colin Powell, who was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.”

Speaking at an event in New Hampshire, Clinton said the scrutiny Hillary faced since leaving the State Department amounted to something that “no public official in the history of the republic has ever faced.”

Republicans “went to work on her for three years,” he said, appearing to blame the fall in her popularity since she was secretary of state on partisanship.

Hillary Clinton now finds herself trailing Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) in the New Hampshire polls with the primary a day away. Bill Clinton has sharpened his attacks on Sanders in recent days, accusing supporters of Sanders of sexism during the same appearance Sunday

No jail time, no apology from I-93 protesters

No Jail Time And No Apology From #BlackLivesMatter Radicals Who Impeded Ambulance Of Seriously Injured 82 Yr Old Man

The daughter of an octogenarian whose ambulance was diverted during a Black Lives Matter protest last winter on I-93 said the defendants — who today avoided jail time with guilty pleas — treated people like her beloved father as “collateral damage.”

“The foolishness, when you hear about adult diapers and cement and people asking, ‘Please get out of the way,’ and you can hear the ambulances in the background, then I’m angry,”’ said Pauline McDonough of Plainville, whose then 82-year-old father was diverted to a Brockton hospital instead of Boston Medical Center when protesters blocked the highway chaining themselves to cement blocks on Jan. 15, 2015.

Some of the protesters wore adult diapers expecting to snarl traffic for hours, authorities said.

“Once all of the risks that were presented to these individuals and they still chose to disregard that, almost like there was going to be collateral damage. … We believe that Black Lives Matter is certainly a noble cause. … But you know, it’s a bigger picture than that. We have loved ones and all lives matter. And my dad’s life mattered,” McDonough said.

McDonough’s father, Richard McGrath, survived a serious accident that day in Easton but died in August from heart failure.

Ten protesters today pleaded guilty to willfully impending an emergency vehicle and were given six months unsupervised probation and 60 hours of community service even though prosecutors requested 90 days behind bars.

Afterward, the group said they had no remorse.

“We understood that there would be consequences of this action. But we are neither remorseful nor grateful,” said group spokesman Noah McKenna. He said the “real story” is the systemic violence against black bodies.

North Korea sending balloons filled with cigarette butts into South Korea

North Korea sending balloons filled with cigarette butts into South Korea

FOX News

The balloons also carried thousands of messages that called South Korean leader Park Geun-hye a “filthy president.”

The propaganda battle between North and South Korea is getting even dirtier.

To highlight its contempt for the South, North Korea has started sending balloons over the border filled with cigarette butts, police told the New York Times.

The balloons were timed to detonate their payloads, but some failed to function and landed onto rooftops and cars in South Korean villages.

“We can confirm that they included cigarette butts,” Kim Hak-young, a chief police superintendent, told the newspaper on Thursday.

The balloons also carried thousands of messages that called South Korean leader Park Geun-hye a “filthy president”.

The two countries have been ramping up their propaganda war since Jan. 6, when North Korea conducted its fourth nuclear test.

The South has been blaring pop songs and criticism of Kim Jong Un over loudspeakers positioned near the border.

CBS Anchors Laugh At Hillary When She Claims She Is ‘Not In The Pocket Of Anyone’

CBS Anchors Laugh At Hillary When She Claims She Is ‘Not In The Pocket Of Anyone’

The anchors of CBS This Morning started chuckling on Monday when Hillary Clinton said during their interview that she was “not in the pocket of anyone.”

“And on the campaign trail, how do you answer that charge that Senator Sanders has made that you’re in the pocket of Wall Street or beholden to their interests?” co-host Norah O’Donnell asked.

“Well, look, anybody who knows me knows I’m not in the pocket of anyone, and anyone who thinks they can influence me certainly doesn’t know me,” Clinton said, while soft laughing was heard in the background from Charlie Rose and at least one other host.

Clinton used a similar line when she was interviewed by MSNBC’s Chris Matthews on Jan. 27. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) has ripped Clinton repeatedly for the exorbitant speaking fees she’s received from institutions like Goldman Sachs.

Clinton is the only Democratic candidate who’s gotten money from Wall Street, and the Washington Free Beacon reported on 31 Clinton fundraisers, past and future, involving the finance industry.

Clinton’s long relationship with the financial sector has given Sanders a lot to point out, and she continues to give him new ammunition. Just this week, she was criticized for spending her time raising money at an investment bank rather than spending it talking to voters in Iowa.

Attending fundraisers hosted by finance executives has become standard practice for Clinton, who had already raised $5.9 million from the securities and investment industry leading into the most recent fundraising quarter.

Jeb Bush: Spent $2,884 Per Vote In Iowa- Waste of Money!!!

Jeb Bush: Spent $2,884 Per Vote In Iowa

Florida governor Jeb Bush received 5,165 votes in Iowa. His vote total constitutes 2.8 percent of the Republican turnout, placing him in sixth place in the Iowa caucus.

Yet no candidate in either party spent more in the race than Bush.

According to MSNBC, Bush spent $14.9 million in Iowa, all coming from Bush’s super PAC. (In fact, if one were to consider national ads and money from the campaign, the total would be significantly more.)

That means, the once Republican frontrunner spent $2,884 per Iowa vote.

Wild Thing's comment.............

Jeb, time to give it up.

Iran Naval Commander: We Took Extensive Info From American Sailors’ Phones And Laptops

Iran Naval Commander: We Took Extensive Info From American Sailors’ Phones And Laptops

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) naval commander claimed Monday that his men harvested extensive information from cell phones and laptops confiscated from the 10 American sailors held in custody last month, according to Iranian media.

The Tasnim News Agency, which is affiliated with the IRGC, reported that Admiral Ali Fadavi made the admission during a session of Iranian parliament.

“We have extracted extensive information from their [American sailors’] laptops and cell phones,” Fadavi reportedly said. He added that the information could be made public if a decision were made to release it.

The U.S. sailors and their two small Navy boats were arrested by Iran on January 12 for allegedly drifting into Iranian territorial waters. While Iran initially promised to release them promptly, the American personnel were held overnight and released the following morning. A preliminary report from the Pentagon on the events found that Iran returned two of the sailors’ cell phones without their SIM cards.

The U.S. Central Command report also confirmed that the sailors were arrested at gunpoint.

Wild Thing's comment...............

Of course Muslims lie so who knows if this is true or not, and add in that Obama and his people lie as well so even our own government under Obama cannot be trusted to tell us if this is true or not.

Hillary Clinton Put Spies Lives At Risk

Hillary Clinton Put Spies Lives At Risk

FoxNews has reported that those twenty-two Top Secret emails included “operational intelligence” that involves espionage sources and methods, adding that lives have been put at risk by Hillary’s mishandling of this information.

At a minimum, valuable covers have been blown, careers have been ruined, and lives have been put at serious risk.

I can confirm that the FoxNews report, which lacks any specifics about exactly what was compromised, is accurate. And what was actually in those Top Secret emails found on Hillary’s “unclassified” personal bathroom server was colossally damaging to our national security and has put lives at risk.

Discussions with Intelligence Community officials have revealed that Ms. Clinton’s “unclassified” emails included Holy Grail items of American espionage such as the true names of Central Intelligence Agency intelligence officers serving overseas under cover. Worse, some of those exposed are serving under non-official cover. NOCs (see this for an explanation of their important role in espionage) are the pointy end of the CIA spear and they are always at risk of exposure – which is what Ms. Clinton’s emails have done.

Not only have these spies had their lives put in serious risk by this, it’s a clear violation of Federal law. The Intelligence Identities Protection Act of 1982, enacted due to the murder of the CIA’s station chief in Athens after his cover was blown by the left-wing media, makes it a Federal crime to divulge the true identity of any covert operative serving U.S. intelligence if that person has not previous been publicly acknowledged to be working for our spy agencies.

Hillary for Prison 2016...... but she will walk, she will not be punished at all. The Clinton's will always get away with their crimes. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Iran Awards Medals For Capture Of American Sailors

Iran Awards Medals For Capture Of American Sailors

Iran’s supreme leader has awarded medals to navy commanders for capturing U.S. sailors who entered Iranian territorial waters this month, Iran’s state media said on Sunday.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has said Iran should remain wary of its arch-enemy the United States even after a landmark accord over Tehran’s nuclear program, awarded the Fath (Victory) medal to the head of the navy of the Revolutionary Guards and four commanders involved in the seizure of two U.S. Navy boats.

Iran has awarded the Fath medal since 1989 to war heroes, military commanders and politicians, especially those linked to the eight-year Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s.

Iran freed the ten U.S. sailors on Jan. 13, a day after detaining them aboard the two U.S. Navy patrol boats in the Gulf, bringing a swift end to an incident that had rattled nerves shortly before the expected implementation of the nuclear accord with world powers.

The Revolutionary Guardss said it had determined the patrol boats had entered Iranian territorial waters by mistake.

The quick resolution contrasted with previous cases in which British servicemen were held by Iran for considerably longer, in once case almost two weeks.

Maybe they will give their buddy Obama an award too. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Vile and Evil George Soros Contributes $6 Million To Hillary

Soros Contributes $6 Million To Hillary

Billionaire George Soros contributed $6 million to a super-PAC supporting Hillary Clinton last month, according to the committee’s latest financial statement.

The investor has now contributed a total of $7 million in this election cycle to Priorities USA Action, which raised $41 million on behalf of Clinton in 2015.
In the last 6 months, the super-PAC raised $25.3 million, meaning that Soros’s contribution accounted for almost a quarter of its fundraising haul.

Also making large contributions to the committee in 2015 were media mogul Haim Saban and his wife Cheryl, who gave a total of $5 million, philanthropist Laure Woods, who gave $2.3 million, and investor Donald Sussman, who contributed $2.5 million.

This group, along with Soros, accounted for two-fifths of Priorities total fundraising in 2015.

Soros, a longtime Democratic donor, was a fundraising force for John Kerry’s 2004 presidential run.

Wild Thing's comment..............

Disgusting. Soros is one of the worst things that ever happened to America and the entire world.
