Senator James Inhofe Says He Wouldn't Be Alive Today Had Obamacare Been in Place When He Needed Surgery
Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe says there'd been a 6 month wait for immediate quad-bypass for someone his age had he been under Obamacare
After going in for a routine colonoscopy, doctors found James Inhofe’s arteries were so clogged he barely made it onto the operating table, he said in comments airing on journalist Aaron Klein’s WABC radio show tonight.
The 79-year-old suggested that if he had been in a part of the world with “socialized medicine like Obama is trying to impose upon America,” the operation never would have happened.
“A person can find out, here in the U.S., that he has this emergency situation where he has got to have immediate heart surgery. And if you are in a country other than the U.S., a lot of them, you can’t get it done. In my case, with my age, that would have been about a six-month wait. Because I hadn’t had a heart attack,” he said.
Inhofe, a senator for nearly two decades, has been a longtime opponent of the health care law.
“And so the message there is, you know I say this to all of your American listeners, let’s hold onto what we’ve got here. You are talking to someone right now who probably wouldn’t be here if we had socialized medicine in America.”
Doctors found 2 of Inhofe's arteries were 100 percent blocked, a second was at 90 percent, and a fourth had 75 percent blockage

Exactly! I have lost two friends over the years, one in England and one in Canada. Both of these women had socialized medicine in their country.

A lot of elderly people are going to die early under Obamacare. It's not just Obamacare going to do this. It's any Socialized health care is going to do this to the elderly. Look at how long it takes the elderly to get proper care in England, Canada, and others with Socialized medicine.

We seniors are more than expendable under obamacare. The average life expectancy will decline sharply. Except for the politically connected.
