Gov. Rick Perry on future of GOP

The States that have Republican Gov. and especially if they are conservatives will survive longer then the others will. IMO

The future of the GOP is pretty dim with the likes of John Boehener executing retribution upon Conservative members of the House for not kowtowing to his every whim.

I really fear the GOP is going to continue it's decline at the national level. It is horribly split between conservatives and the liberal/moderate establishment. The conservative(Tea Party) branch is further eroded by desertions to the Libertarians.
It may be that only at the local level(state) will conservatives be able to hold their own or even grow. A lot of future American history will be determined by how much socialism those conservative states will tolerate from DC.
