Obama Has The Book Thrown At Him (and what's with the naked man?)

A book narrowly misses Barack Obama's head after it is thrown on stage during a rally in Philadelphia

Yesterday at a rally in Philadelphia a book was hurled at Obama and barely missed his head.

Er - what? A woman recoils as a naked man is escorted from Mr Obama's rally in Philadelphia today. It is not clear if the man was involved in the book-throwing incident - or why he was not wearing clothes

Campaign commentary: A police officer tries to protect the naked man's modesty with a strategically placed 'Vote 2010' sign

Daily Mail

This is the astonishing moment a book was apparently hurled at the head of U.S. President Barack Obama during a campaign rally in Philadelphia.

The flying missile narrowly missed hitting the President yesterday.

It is not clear what the book was, where it came from in the crowd, or why it was thrown at Mr Obama - who did not appear to notice the danger.

But it is expected that there will be fallout from the security breach as the Secret Service investigates how close the President came to danger.

The rally was clearly an eventful one - other images showed a naked man being led away in handcuffs by police.

It is not clear if the man was involved in the book-throwing incident - or why he was not wearing any clothes.

It came as Mr Obama tried to rally voters in Phildelphia to use to three weeks left before congressional elections to go to the polls.

The president relied on an oft-used speech as he addressed the crowd in the city's Germantown community with the driving cadences that swept him into the White House two years ago.

Wild Thing's comment........

LOL too funny. I am outraged. Why would someone risk doing harm to a book? ( giggle )

Er, uh, don't look BB, that's right, the naked truth is in your midst and you still refuse to see it. I hope it was a Koran Chrissie.
Look at what another org has done for us. Makes me want to rush in and sign up for membership. We can still count on the NRA and AARP can't we? 'sarc'

The fact that you had to use a story from a British publication, rather than an AP or other American news service coverage, speaks volumes as to how deeply the American Media is in bed with the Obama/Progressive camp.

One recalls how the same press(?), was all over the shoe throwing incident involving Pres, Bush and an Iraqi journalist. No double standard here. Right?

As far as the naked man. I read that he had accepted an offer from a millionaire, to do the stunt. The millionaire promised a large amount of money, on the condition that the man would write the name of the millionaire's website on his chest, which he did.

Gotta love watching, the Dems and Barry Baby grasping at straws and squirming. They do know they are in some serious do-do here.

Whoever threw the book must have been an upset Democrat. If it was a Republican or Tea Party member, the MSM would be running 24/7 coverage on it. So far, I've only heard about it on the blogs, nothing on the morning news.

Maybe it was the book of knowledge, gee good thing it missed, last thing we need is obama knowing anything at all.

Jack, LOL that would have been great if it was the koran.

Sean, good point, yes when we have to get the news and the truth from papers outside our country that really says a lot about our own media.

This does feel so good.
