RNC Routes Angry Phone Calls to DNC
Republicans played a trick on Democrats today by redirecting angry telephone calls coming into their switchboard to the Democratic National Committee, CNN reports.
"The DNC released a Web video early in the morning accusing the GOP of inciting mob activity at town hall meetings. At the end of the video, the DNC instructs people to call the Republican National Committee to express outrage. Callers who dial the RNC's main number to voice their concern about the DNC's charges are told to press 1, which sends them to the DNC's main switchboard."
The Washington Independent reports RNC Chairman Michael Steele took full credit for the phone prank.

The complaints should go to the group that put that video out, the DNC. hahahahaha
I love it. Why couldn’t these boneheads have been playing hardball for the past 8 years instead of playing kissyface, make nice?

You know, I saw that number too quickly to write it down, but I was thinking about calling the GOP and saying something like, "just wanted to tie up your line from the nuts and also tell you keep up the good work on the health care bill opposition."
But I'm just a lazy non-confrontational conservative. I really have to change that. There seem to be new rules for engagement now.

Finally. The Repubs are playing a Democrat type game of dirty tricks. We need another Lee Atwater to really boil the waters.
The RNC called me several days ago soliciting. I told them I supported conservative individuals, not the party apparatus. It will take more than one trick to make me change my mind. The party has burned me too many times. It will take a lot to get me over the McCain fiasco.

I just auto toss my RNC mail. I'm not supporting them if the money is going to possibly go to elect more Lindsay Grahams and Olympia Snowes.
And really, their tactics on their mailings are getting downright Publisher's Clearinghouse-ish. They present it like its a membership I have to pay up or it will expire. Really? How lame.
