Arlen Specter Urges That We "Do This Fast" ~ Crowd Yells Back

Fox just played a great video of this event!!!

.

Town Hall metting with HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Senator Arlen Specter at the National Constitution Center in Philly on August 2nd, 2009.

Close to 1,000 people showed up for Arlen Specter and Kathleen Sebilius' Obamacare Town Hall. ACORN and SEIU had their drones there. ACORN continues to embarass itself by exploiting amputees and handicapped people to further their cause. It was actually very sad to see because you felt bad for them because of their misfortune and you also felt bad for them because they were totally unaware that they were merely props for ACORN to exploit.

In Philadelphia, Kathleen Sebelius and Arlen Specter get an earful (the YouTube user who posted the video calls the protesters “crazies.” You’re going to get a lot of that. Just carry on):

"How Can You Manage Health Care When You Can't Manage Cash For Clunkers?

Wild Thing's comment.......

"We, the People" must be equipped to distinguish and between the principles that would keep America free and prosperous and the false premises that will enslave her, as well as able to articulate them. Accommodating tyranny by failing to call it what it is is dangerous. We need a leader whose words are strong and courageous and based in the principles of our Declaration of Independence.

The people who founded America were not so "dumbed down." Hear two of them:

"It is proper to take alarm at the first experiment on our liberties. We hold this prudent jealousy to be the first duty of citizens and one of the noblest characteristics of the Revolution. The freemen of America did not wait till usurped power had strengthened itself by exercise and entangled the question in precedents. They saw all the consequences in the principle [usurpation of power] and they avoided the consequences by denying the principle. We revere this lesson too much . . . to forget it." - James Madison
" . . . nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers, and destroyers press upon them so fast, that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon the American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour. The revenue creates pensioners, and the penshioners urge for more revenue. The people grow less steady, spirited, and virtuous, the seekers more numerous and more corrupt, and every day increases the circles of their dependents and expectants, until virtue, integrity, public spirit, simplicity, and frugality, become the objects of ridicule and scorn, and vanity, lusury, foppery, selfishness, meanness and downright venality swallow up the whole society." - John Adams

Today, even with all modern means of communication, too many Americans possess little understanding of threats to their liberty and, thus, risk losing it to charlatans whose only goal is power.

Our Founding Fathers did all they could so we would NOT have Kings running our country. Yet. as we look around what do we see. Obama most certainly behaving like a King and not only Obama but far too many elected leaders from our States as well.

When Sebelius was governor of Kansas, she was dead set against putting Gitmo detainees at Fort Leavenworth. Now that Obama is heading in that direction, I wonder what her thoughts on the subject are now since she's one of his cabinet members.

My wife got an invite from Senator Switchback Spectre. August 11, at Bucknell University, just outside of Lewisburg. We are going and then to see the other dumbass Carney.

Two questions for him. Had you been on Obamascare when you had Cancer, do you think you'd be here ?

For a system so broken it did a pretty dammn good job on you cancer did it.

This is the guy the attorney, who got bail arranged for an accused Murderer. Ira Einhorn, who murdered his girlfriend and stuffed her in a trunk in his apartment. After Spectre arranged bail Einhorn promptly skipped bail and fled to Europe, he was tried and find guilty in abstentia, he was arrested again 20 years later.

Specter is a self-serving-pompus son of a bitch.

Arlen Specter is a liberal's liberal. I am glad he finally got himself back in the donkey party where he belonged all along. Now I hope he loses the next election. In the primary would be a bonus.

All 435 seats are up for grabs, I'd love to see 435 new congressmen, all constitutionalists in 2010. The people are only slightly riled, the inflation is only starting to be felt. Shades of the double digit nightmares of the early 70's, wage freezes while prices skyrocketed, a lot of us had to do some Okie voting to survive, a lot of these 'kids' weren't born or weren't old enough to remember that it was the Dhimmis that brought down Nixon, forcing Gerald(Gelded) Ford into the Whitehouse, the Dhimmi's directly instituted Jimmy Carter and his 'nebullous' realm of spending and appeasement. Obama is a 10 on the logarithmic scale worse than Carter. Those people should be mad at Specter, they voted him into office one time too many and like a goose on green grass he dumped on them.
Sebelius, isn't that a social disease?

BobF., I bet she is still against it, but
she probably won't say anything. She should
but Sebelius in taking her job with Obama
has shown who she is loyal to and it sure
isn't the USA.

Mark, that is great, I look forward to
hearing about that one too.

GREAT questions to ask Mark. In making it
personal he has got to see this is not just
some impersonal thing they are voting on.

Mark, oh my gosh, thank you for the
information.

Tom, your right, I want him to get hardly
any votes a real slam.

Jack,LOL it does sound like it.

"Sebelius, isn't that a social disease?"

I agree Jack, the voters should be furious
about Specter, I hope they let him know it.
