I am a Patriot and I don't need some commie-pinko-socialistic dictator telling me how to behave or believe. Anyone on that side ever listen to "The Amber Waves of Grain" by Merle Haggard or "The Eagle" by Waylon Jennings or "Something Worth Fighting For" by Kris Kristofferson? Maybe they should. Obamanation is taking away the Amber Waves of Grain, the Eagle is no longer our beloved symbol and people stupidly believe they have nothing they need to fight for anymore.

But the 64 Million obamabots they hear them and 'oh yes' that is the change we've been looking for, not realizing that in the end, this is what will be missing from their lives is Liberty and the pursuit of happiness as YOU see not as the government sees it.

Obama weaves his web of lies and deceit and these lapdogs are taking it all in. Blaming the CEOs and big companies for their plight. When these companies start shutting down because of overly restrictive government policies, where do they think the jobs are going to come from.

How the HELL is this PATRIOTIC? They can't be proud of the American Flag without the "messiah's" face on it, they need to move to france.

Lynn, the messiah wants "change" from the Mighty Bald Eagle to the Pigeon IMHO. Notice the Bald Eagle is a Warrior, a Hunter they get rid of vermin. Chrissie, I have a book of foreign songs published in 1979 in Communist China, it's written in Chinese with English translations, nowhere is God mentioned in any of the songs, some are traditional American folk songs written by Americans during the American Revolution, the Civil war through WWII, etc, all are anarchist in nature and slanted toward revolution. This song belongs in their collection. It is nothing more than what you called it. Propaganda. Jingoistic propaganda at that.

John PFC I didn't join in on yesterday's discussion. Even though you are relatively new to the military profession it doesn't diminish your stature, your patriotism or your dedication to the nation. You are holding down two tough jobs as a citizen soldier. The citizen side too often doesn't have a clue about your dedication or your sacrifices to serve in peacetime. It pains them that they have to relinquish total control for the mandatory duty calls, they too should be serving and if they are willing to support your commitment then they truly are serving. Ignored by most Americans is the civilian personal business leaves forfeited for training, all those weekends spent in training, the civilian vacations spent training, the constant chance of being uprooted from family and sent to battle, it's IMO tougher on the family and the soul having one foot in each world than pulling full time active duty where you are assured of stability and 30 days leave. I too want to sincerely thank you for your service. Your's is a tough job. Thank you John !!!

This Norman Lear "Born Again American" propaganda is nothing other than selective and false patriotism. It is no different than Michelle Obama's selective and false patriotism when she said, "for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country."

Patriotism is like pregnancy, you either are or you aren't pregnant. Patriotism has nothing to do with who is president at any particular time. It is unconditional love and belief in the country, Constitution, and flag. Just imagine if the military chose to be patriots or not depending on who was President and CIC at the time.

As far as "Obama's propagandists are out to make it Un-American not to go along with his Socialist policies" goes, I remind them (particularly Obama in his declared war with Rush Limbaugh) of what one of their own said and they all cheered in support of.

Yo Chrissie, have you seen the news from Friday evening? Teh One is demanding that the DoD take a 12% budget cut. The Pentagon apparently has until Monday to respond. I think this is deserving of a separate post.
