They don't even do that much figurin' - apparently they just pick a number that "sounds good".
"It's not based on any particular data point," a Treasury spokeswoman told Forbes.com Tuesday. "We just wanted to choose a really large number."

I've always thought the Obama Math principles were based on "dazzle em with bullshit" but apparently I failed to consider it was Kettle Countin'.
BTW my favorite old time movie actress is Claudette Colbert and favorite movie she was in was The Egg and I, which included the Kettles.
Thanks, that was great!

We need Pa right now at the Fed or the Treasury Dept. It looks like we have Buckwheat or Lou Costello instead.
On the financial blogs it seems like I see daily increasing numbers of trillions of dollars proposed by the government for all the bailouts. Yes yankeemom, they are searching for a really larger and larger number to choose.

Maw and Paw Kettle. I haven't seen them in years they were a hoot.
But for sure that is exactly how the Government adds and multilplies

Loved it Chrissie, I haven't seen them in years either. Too true!!!
Kind of like the perpetual motion machine the dems have planned for our future energy needs. (PS, put the beverage down on this one)

Our universities are using this Maw and Paw Kettle bailout math today.
'Shovel-Ready' on Campus
Guess who wants a bailout now.
With the Big Three seeking a bailout from Washington, the Big Ten are following suit. Earlier this week the Carnegie Corporation of New York took out a two-page ad in the New York Times, signed by executives of 36 public universities, state university systems and higher-education associations, urging Congress and President-elect Obama to rescue them.

Tom, hahaha yes it sure does...... good way to put it.
" It looks like we have Buckwheat or Lou Costello instead"
I agree Tom, the numbers keep growing. And everyone wants to jump on the band wagon. It is so against the American way of business and how to handle things. It won't be the American dream anymore it will be can a person get the government to run their family business if this insanity does not stop.
