That's pretty good. Hopefully the MSM is paying attention to this educational video.

"This is rifle.

This is my gun,

This is for shooting,

This is for fun!"

Along with our General Orders we had to memorize this too. This is all I can remember

This is my rifle.

There are many like it, but this one is MINE.

My rifle is my best friend. It is my life.

I must master it as I must master my life.

My rifle without me is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.

I must fire my rifle true.

I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me.

I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will...

My rifle and myself know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire,

the noise of our bursts, nor the smoke we make.

We know it is the hits that count. We will hit...

My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life.

Thus, I will learn it as a brother.

That muzzy Christiane Amanpour comes to mind.

Lordy Tom, I remember the day when you duckwalked around the entire parade ground with your rifle held high over head for uttering the word 'gun', repeating that phrase while the rest of your platoon or company observed whilst doing calisthenics. Later the mantra that Mark used was employed just prior to deployment. Maybe that form of instruction would be useful for our media elites, it sure was for the soldier.:) BTW, I never felt more naked than the day I turned in my rifle to get on that freedom bird.

All I remember from boot camp in Great Lakes was:
This is my coffee,
I like it hot,
Black or with creamer,
Just give me alot!
To the video, I would kill to be able to catch the cartridge like that when it ejects.
