Barney Frank Throws Hissy Fit On House Floor ~ Hilarious

The Republican arguing with power-hungry Barney Frank is Patrick McHenry. McHenry rose to offer an amendment that would exempt American Samoa from the stem-cell bill — a clear dig at the fact that Samoa, which is home to StarKist factories that employ nearly 75% of the island’s work force, was conspicuously exempt from the minimum-wage bill that had passed the day before. Why is that important? Because StarKist is a branch of Del Monte Foods Co., which has its headquarters in San Francisco, Nancy Pelosi’s district.

Wild Thing's comment......

One thing that stands out besides this being so funny, the left has a lot of freakin nerve to ridicule the way President Bush speaks! Barney Frank always sounds like Elmer Fudd. ( with apologizes to Elmer Fudd of course)

This is funny. Lispy Barney is tripping over his gay tongue trying to prevent this amendment. I am proud that two of those Republicans are from North Texas, Joe Barton and Mike Burgess.

Emer Fudd eh... OOh stay out of my wife Wabbit. Or in Franks case my House Paige.

Elmer Fudd is more intelligent.
At least he only goes after Bugs and Daffy!
He learns when to stop.

Freedom of speech under Barney's quintessential lisp where he is illustrating the bipartisanship of the Democrats on any and all issues. Does the 110th. congress not look like a mirror image of the 73rd. Congress under FDR's New Deal where they put the U.S. on the Socialist path in the first 100 days of closed doors and a secret agenda? What do you think is happening under Pelosi's first 100 undefined Congressional hrs.? Thank God there are men like Patrick McHenry who challenge their arrogance.

Elmer PUDD would be more fitting. I wonder if there is pending legislation to allow Barney Boy to wear leather and snap a whip instead of the gavel. The ease at which Tinkerbell can be driven to getting his Victoria Secrets in a wad is laughable and should be a continuing Republican strategy. How....in the name of God , do people like this get through life much less hold positions of power?

Jack,

By the way, belated thanks for the article forwarded by WT. I've been out of town the last couple of days and didn't get a chance to thank you for that.

Billy, you are most welcome, what would we do without WT's help, my thanks to her as well.

To see Mushmouth up their controlling things is disgusting. He didn't get that way by eating "square meals".

Barney has friends in San Francisco.

This is like a Saturday Night Live skit back when they were funny!

Tom, me too I am proud of those 2 Republicans.

It is so hard to understand Barney.

Mark omg yes that is a good one.

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 15, 2007 12:18 AM

Lynn, yes your right. Only Daffy and Bugs Bunny.

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 15, 2007 12:19 AM

Jack I agree, I sure hope they are challenged all along the way.

Billy it truly is amazing to me. I always thought leaders, well I used to respect them. But Barney is a good example of leaders run amuk. ( spelling on amuk not sure of. haha)
