Wild Thing's comment.....

Bakers surrender plan stinks to high heaven!

Baker, hand picked the people on this committee so he could control it, dealt Israel O U T? Baker is responsible for the Oslo Accords. That set up Israel for the damned Intifada. And here we go again...Baker is yet again trying to set Israel up for destruction/annihilation; Iraq too.

Baker has always been an "Arabist". Baker wants Israel to cede the Golan Heights to Syria because he knows this will destroy Israel. Israel needs the Golan Heights as a buffer zone to keep Syria from cutting off Israel's water supply. Baker obviously knows this but doesn't care. Baker was Bush41's Secretary of State and made the famous comment, "F_ _ _ the Jews," regarding Israeli "intransigence" in surrendering to arafat's intafada. Baker's firm is representing the Saudi Regime AGAINST the families of victims of 9/11 in their lawsuit. Baker is determined to see the State of Israel eviscerated. It has been his goal for 20 years.

President Bush should stand up tall with his boots on and tell Baker to go F himself! Fight Back "W"...please! I pray Bush ignores this piece of garbage!

And another person I might as well add to my get lost list.....Gates! With his unanimous support of Senate Democrats behind his confirmation. I didn't like most of his answers, I don't like him! Gates would not get my vote.

If Bush accepts this plan, any part of it, and add in Gates, we are looking at This is an unmitigated disaster. imo
I hope he throws that Baker report in the trash.

And then of course this horrible person, Nancy Pelosi just can't wait to spew the left's agenda of their mantra that Bush lied.
(CNSNews.com) -

Nancy Pelosi, the incoming Democratic speaker of the House, on Wednesday praised the Iraq Study Group's report on the Iraq war and said the report proves "that the President's Iraq policy has failed and must be changed."

UPDATE:

...Keep in mind though that Bush has not OK'd it as of right this minute. But this is the reaction of the terrorists about POS Bakers plan.

Terrorists rejoicing over new Iraq 'plan'
Reaction to Study Group: 'Allah and his angels' responsible, 'era of Islam and of jihad' declared

JERUSALEM – A high level U.S. commission's recommendations for an eventual withdrawal from Iraq and for dialogue with Iran and Syria proves "Islamic resistance" works and America will ultimately be defeated.

The militants, from the largest Palestinian terror groups in the Gaza Strip and West Bank, welcomed the policies outlined by the Iraq Study Group, which they claim recognizes Islam is the "new giant of the world."

All I can think of to say are derogatory comments about Bush, whose terrible leadership has led to this series of events.

If Baker was representing Israel you can bet there would be an uproar in the media and in Congress about his being on the study group. This study group actually reminds me of the Japanese delegation that signed papers aboard the USS Missouri.

I want to know who commissioned this bunch of losers. Not one Military representative to offer at a minimum some guidance as to which way to go.

The day after the election, Bush fired/resigned same thing, Rumsfeld. And Gates sailed through his nomination and confirmation process without breaking a sweat. Two Senators voted against the confirmation, Jim Bunning of Kentucky and Rick Santorum of Pennsylcania, two of Bush's staunches supporters, this makes me wonder what are we getting with Gates. Another Neville Chamberlain ?

Now the "Iraq Surrender group" comes out with its recommendations on how to get out of Iraq, gracefully and accept defeat with a consensus of the public going along with this. You win nothing with a consensus, and lose a lot more often with it. It tells me we have a rudderless ship.

I am hoping I know my people, the American people better than this bunch of losers and they will not accept this bogus bunch of gutless-crap.

Baker responded to a reporters question, after he asked, well how much can you know when you visited Iraq you never left the 'Safe-Zone', the Green zone. Baker then referred to his group as a bunch of 'has beens', that is the only thing he got right yesterday.

Have the American people become so sedate and fat with the good life that we have forgotten what it takes to keep this country ?

Truly if we cut and run from this fight, the Soldiers who have given their all, will indeed have died in vain.

Tom, it is a total mess. It makes me sick to my stomach.

Mark, "Iraq Surrender group" is a perfect name for it.

I have alwasy believed in we the American people to do the right thing, I want to, oh so much to continue to think that way. I agree, I hope we see an outrage and that Bush throws Baker and his report in the glopity goop machine or shredder.

I also agree Mark, our Soldiers deserve better, much better then for our government to listen to Baker and his ilk.

So in a nutshell:

Surrender (fill in blank) and terrorists will leave us alone. Yeah. Worked so well in 1938. Just ask any Brit still alive from that time period. But make it quick. Their aren't many still around.

I'm with Mark: I want to know who the hell elected these guys. I don't recall ever voting for Lee Hamilton, not even for assistant dog catcher. And didn't we already vote Vernon Jordan out once?

And: How did Ed Meese get mixed up with this group?
