Tim McGirk Lover of Terrorists

From National Geographic

"I found that people were more open to me when I dressed like them because the Pashtuns basically haven't changed their habits, customs, and dress for hundreds of years. So I grew a beard, wore long flowing clothes, and got a turban, which the warriors accompanying us often had to help me tie. However, when I traveled with the American military, I dusted off my Western clothes and put them on because, naturally, I didn't want to look like someone they'd be shooting at."

....Hey Tim FUCK YOU! - ---Wild Thing

Who is Tim McGirk?
The reporter who supposedly first broke the Haditha story ....."One Morning in Haditha"....Time Magazine...Mar. 27, 2006 ..............for the western media was Tim McGirk. Tim McGirk is a graduate of Berkeley, class of 1974.

Tim McGirk who celebrated Thanksgiving with the Taliban just two months after 9.11.

Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001 Thanksgiving With the Taliban TIME correspondent Tim McGirk shares bread, raisins, and thoughts about the afterlife with some Taliban fighters, and finds some common groundBy TIM MCGIRK
"There was a genuine Thanksgiving glow about the meal. The bread is good, and more Taliban fighters come in to partake. One of them, a little man with a beard like a troll's, says he's Mullah Mohammed Omar's nephew. But he hasn't seen his uncle much lately: the Taliban supreme commander has been awfully busy since Sept. 11."
"I leave thinking that maybe this evening wasn't very different from the original Thanksgiving: people from two warring cultures sharing a meal together and realizing, briefly, that we're not so different after all."

Still, look at the sources Mr. McGirk courageously interviewed by email:

In the ensuing weeks, McGirk and TIME’s Baghdad staff members interviewed more than a dozen Haditha locals by e-mail (travel between Baghdad and Haditha is exceedingly dangerous for Iraqis, let alone foreign journalists), including the mayor, the morgue doctor and a local lawyer who negotiated a settlement between the Marines and the families…

The "mayor" is the mayor of the Sunni insurgent stronghold where only 150 people out of 90,000 dared to vote in the Oct. 15 constitutional referendum. The mayor holds his job solely at the pleasure of the terrorists who are in total control of Haditha.

The "morgue doctor," Dr. Walid Abdul-Khaleq al-Obeidi, claims to have been arrested, held prisoner for a week and brutally beaten by US troops. From his remarks in interviews it is clear he hates the US. And of course he too only holds his job as the head of the Haditha hospital at the sufferance of the Sunni "insurgents." Also Abdul Wahab Al Obeidi is an advisory board member of the BRussells Tribunal, which is an ultra radical terrorist-supporting organization.

The "local lawyer," Khaled Salem Rsayef, claims to have had several relatives murdered by the Marines. He also wants further compensation for himself and his clients. Which he will surely get if the Marines are found guilty.

Wild Thing's comment......
This terrorist loving liberal scum Tim McGirk got his info from the neighborhood residents, the same neighborhood where the terrorists came from, live etc.

I just keep thinking of our troops and of their families. How hard this has to be for them. I always want to fix everything, and make things that are sad go away. This is not only sad it is outrages what is being lied about by people that would not tell the truth no matter what.

They DO remind of the left because they lie when they do not have to, they hate our military, they are bent on destroying America, both the left and the terrorists from within since we give in to the BS of the Muslims with their schools and mosques where they teach hate. Give in to the left by not punishing them for their treason to America i.e. Jane Fonda, John Kerry, John Murtha, Bill Clinton and others.

I pray for our troops, I pray they KNOW those of us are here for them. That they know we do not prejudge them like Murtha has and others. That we are so very grateful to them for all they do for us, and for America. Thank you!

And YOU Tim McGirk can absolutely BURN in freaken hell!

I am unceasingly belwildered that an entire classification of people wander into their middle years welded to concepts and beliefs that are normally discarded as maturity takes hold, often by the age of 18 or so. Hollywood and the news media are populated by such oddballs, and their influence on the world is impressive and dangerous. This particular clown, McGirk, has launched himself into the breaking day screaming about an incident that may have occurred and may be horrific, but his stance is that the incident is indicitive of the US in general and the Iraqi operation in particular.

Would a more mature and reasonable generation of people listen to such screeching? If Ernie Pyle had made an observation that "The US is mired in a Pacific war against a determined enemy. A war that is at best a stalemate" the collective adult anger against him would have reduced the man to ashes. When uncle Walter Cronkite produced his famous mumble about Viet Nam--an utterance that had NO basis in fact and one that reflected the knee-jerk reaction of little children against the authority of their parents--the popular cause was lost in the eyes of the influencial. Same with the 'bearded wonder', McGirk. Finally FINALLY he has an incident with which to skewer those in authority! A foothold to use and build his student opposition movement to the DRAFT!!

Wait...There isn't a draft, is there? Never mind. It doesn't matter. Now we can have masses of enthusiastic young people in the streets speaking truth to power!! Yeah, MAN!!

Can somebody give these asses a sharp jab to their pampered guts and shut them the hell up? Why are these children (Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan, McGirk, Matt Lauer...) being paid attention to anyway? Debate is one thing but a debate with a child is only an argument, and that leads to either punishment or the adult giving in to the child. I think I know which is going to happen.

Hi Jack thank you.

I am very upset that this McGirk is even listened to or read. I wanted to show what he is.... a total enemy lover.

The Berkely connection again. I bet even the Mexicans, if they completely take over California, will not want that institution. They may rename it however - "Universidad de Locos"

Okay, so this is round-a-bout but here we go. I see this fill-in the blank University Balloon head and I just shake my head. When I was younger you had to have a doctor’s exam to enter a State University. Our family doctor would sit you down and tell you about college professors how they will not only not impress you but they will miss-lead you. Doctor John T. was a smart man and that was in the early and mid seventies.
So jump ahead and now I have college-age kids. I have been amazed at the folks I run into that have business administration degrees that are assistant to the ass-wiper. They spent a freaking fortune on a degree that EVERYBODY HAS!!! I may not like my ex-wife but we produced two damn fine kids that I am proud to say are throwbacks to another time...they don't play soccer...they plowed fields and my son in 8th grade chained himself to a fence so he could literally go "in" and turn a breach calf during birth. Why would I want them to go someplace and have someone attempt to indoctrinate them? To me it is EXACTLY the same as paying a child molester...not sorta like it...EXACTLY as paying someone to do harm to your children.
Both our kids went to a trade school and they also paid 75% of their education and were NOT allowed to go to Florida for spring break.
Both kids are now in their early & Mid 20's both are homeowners both go to church both are happy and both still have the values instilled in them. Now that they are old enough to cope with IDIOTS such as Mr. McGirk I hope they will go to college and/or gain a greater education other than the poison and the mental molestation of the left and their minions in the Press and the education system.
Mr. McGerk is a royal ass-hat that needs to allow HIS daughters to put on a burka and be subject to the evil that awaits all women of Islam...MrMcGirk is one of many many worthless pieces of $hit.
...and that's all I have to say about that :-)
