Reunited: Pakistan Children Seized by Islamist Slave Traders

Reunited: boys saved from slavers (Christian children captured by Muslim slave-traders)

Times Online

A SENIOR member of an Islamic organisation linked to Al-Qaeda is funding his activities through the kidnapping of Christian children who are sold into slavery in Pakistan.

The Sunday Times has established that Gul Khan, a wealthy militant who uses the base of Jamaat-ud Daawa (JUD) near Lahore, is behind a cruel trade in boys aged six to 12.

They are abducted from remote Christian villages in the Punjab and fetch nearly £1,000 each from buyers who consign them to a life of misery in domestic servitude or in the sex trade.

Khan was exposed in a sting organised by American and Pakistani missionaries who decided to save 20 such boys and return them to their homes. Using a secret camera, they filmed him accepting $28,500 (£15,000) from a Pakistani missionary posing as a businessman who said he wanted to set up an operation in which the boys would beg for cash on the streets.

The base was funded by Osama Bin Laden, the Al-Qaeda leader, in the late 1990s and the JUD’s assets were frozen last month by the US Treasury after it was designated a terrorist organisation.

The US State Department declared the JUD a front for another organisation, Lashkar-i-Toiba, a terrorist group banned in Pakistan which joined with Al-Qaeda in an attempt to assassinate President Pervez Musharraf in 2003.

Khan, who regularly stays at the JUD’s base, broke his promise to hand over the 20 boys on receipt of the cash and took the Pakistani missionary’s assistant hostage while he checked that the dollars were genuine.

The boys were eventually freed in a dishevelled and malnourished state after being locked in a room for five months during which they suffered frequent beatings.

Last week I accompanied six of the boys on journeys of up to 15 hours to their homes, where they were greeted with astonishment and jubilation by families who had given them up for dead.

The mother of Akash Aziz, who was kidnapped as he played with his friends after school, was so astonished that she could barely move or speak at first.

The undercover missionaries have demanded the prosecution of Khan and an investigation into his work for the JUD, which claims to have created a “pure Islamic environment” at Muridke.

Hafez Muhamed Sayeed, its leader, was accused of inciting riots in Pakistan this year with speeches denouncing western “depravity” after a Danish newspaper published cartoons of the prophet Muhammad.

Wild Thing's comment......

The most dangerous threat to the existence of mankind is the dangerous cult of Islam. The entire world should be horrified with the death cult of Islam. But just look at our own country, the USA, and how the left makes excuses for Islamists ie. Gore, Kennedy, the media, celebrities etc. Odd how they must be thinking that the terrorist have selective killing in mind when they simply do not.

Im beginning to think it would be easiest if Bush would just go completly crazy, order the USs stock of nuclear weapons to be used to destroy every single person in the middle east, and then kill himself.

That's certainly something that concerns me about Suricou Raven. You've been off your rocker as long as you've been posting here. Get help. These violent fantasies of yours are dangerous.

It would seem that the worship of power and domination of humankind (well maybe a sheep or two) is the "experience of Islam". It would seem that its laws call for subservience, destruction and gives power to an ignorant mass that are better suited for lawn and pool care.
Child rape as with most "rape mentality" is an evil lust for power.
There is a huge difference between "Faith and Religion" and in a nutshell to me it would seem Religion is often the Hijacking of a faith by individuals to meet their needs of power. Islam seems to take that far to its darkest corners.

You've identified the convergence of strains of Islamic thinking with fascism. The will to power, the elevation of a specific group over all others (it varies), and the claims to jurisdiction over everyone, everywhere. You can add in tactical things like scapegoating and emotive problems like calls to vengeance and humiliation, too. Muslims, I think, have a century of pain ahead of them...they haven't experienced a Reformation yet, and it might have to come at the point of a bayonet. The West won't lose, but what will victory look like?

I'm amused Suricou as to why the United States is looked to as the one to save the world from the the scourge of Islam. "Yeah the Old Chap wigged out then realizing what he'd done he committed suicide."

Bwwaaahhhaaa!!!

You wish!!!

Suricou Raven heavens sake are you having a bad day there in merry old England?

"easiest if Bush would just go completly crazy.....and then kill himself."

You really shouldn't compare those you know to someone like Bush. Shall I rip apart your comment and play with it awhile. The word you used..."completely" meaning what per chance? That Bush in your opinion is already semi-crazy? I think not, he is just not a full fledged conservative, but crazy no.

" and then kill himself" poor Suricou Raven you really must get over this hate you have for those that want to go after the enemy. Oh Bush may have lightened up on the line drawn for the axis of evil. Leaving our borders open etc. But I tend to be more of an isolationist and that would never work in politics and running a country. But he certainly did answer the call of fighting back unlike wimpy, communist lover Clinton. And that is one pat on the back that I will never take away from President Bush

Sierrahome....."Islam seems to take that far to its darkest corners.".....well said it sure does.

Rhod wow! YOu know what, this would be a great title for an article.

"The West won't lose, but what will victory look like?"

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 22, 2006 04:21 PM

Jack hahaha I think Suricou Raven is having some wishful thinking like you said. yeowie

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 22, 2006 04:23 PM

Although I can't recall the source of these articles....maybe a link from Instapundit...the subject was widespread belief among Europeans that America will continue to police the world even while Europeans continue to revile us for it.

Second, that among the professional classes in a few countries, The Netherlands, France and Belgium being three, there is a pervasive mood that Europe is growing less and less safe, and emmigration to the US or Australia is a likelihood for them.

The hypocrisy is shocking. Hate us for sending our sons and daughters to do the dirty work of Western Civilization, and yet avail yourself of the safety and prosperity of our portion of North America that arose from the willingness to fight.

Suricou gives the game away. He seem piqued by the ugliness of the catamite slave trade in Pakistan, and dives headlong into the hope that a man he judges as crazy (Bush), will be crazy enough to stop it, then kill himself. This is lunatic ranting at several levels, but it proves at least one thing. Some Brits and Europeans will fight to the last American.

Rhod you said it! Exactlty how it is! Thank you so much!

Oh, I abandoned any attempt at sanity here long ago. I tried the inteligent debate thing. It didn't work. So now I just troll semi-nonsense, and save anything that involves more than five seconds of thinking for those places that might be able to understand it.

Everyone on this blog is, in one way or another, an extremist. Rational thought and extremes do not fit together well.

I stay here and chat for the same reason that people will stop at the scene of a traffic accident.

If you want any further explanation of my origional comment, what I meant to say is that at times I think such a 'quick fix' would be so much *easier* than the slow, unreliable process or politics, war, and the changing of a culture. Yes, it would result in the deaths of a great many people. But it would bring peace to the region, at last, and help greatly in preventing the further rise in power of Islam. Quick and dirty... and, of course, suggested in sarcasm. The bush suicide was just an afterthought.

And yes, I do think he is crazy - he is a Christian after all, and they are all deluded. But that doesn't count, because if a delusion is shared by a large enough number of people it mysteriously turns into a religion.

A few points, Suricou.

Your martyr pose is uninteresting and typical of your kind. A man like you, consumed by bitterness, superstition and hatred is unreachable. From the day you arrived here, you were both unable and unwilling to engage in any rational argument about your various dogmatic positions. You are everything in your agnosticism (or atheism) that you condemn. Arrogant, empty, judgemental, shallow and foolish. Your fear is your master, so you hate the brave.

You, of course, rely upon the coward's defense, the habitual response of the man with no backbone or coherence, that your opposition is irrational and extreme. This is the most predictable quality of every leftist. Failing to convince on the merits of an argument, and concealing the depth and breadth of your own extremism behind a flimsy intellectual veil, you snear and run away.

Orwell was right about so many things, but he had your type pegged. When a man convinced of his superiority has no power to alter the world around him to his liking, he lapses into ugly fantasy. The extremist, the petty tyrant is you, Suricou Raven. You.

..and as a consequence of your thinking, which is so very European, the onion dome you hate will eventually dominate you. And the first collar you will grab for help in your desparation will be the collar of an American "extremist". We'll brush you off. You aren't worth the effort.

And an afterthought, Suricou. Your second to last paragraph is one of the most unresistingly imbecilic statements I have ever read. You clearly have several screws loose. Get in touch with someone from the NHS before it's too late.

Suricou Raven you are beyond rude!

I suggest you print out what Rhod said in each one of his posts. His remarks to you were nothing short of pure genius!!!!!!!
