LEASE DO NOT FORGET THE SACRIFICES MADE BY BRAVE AMERICAN TROOPS IN VIET NAM - Today is a VERY SPECIAL DAY for the survivors of the 173d Airborne Brigade during Operation Hump in War Zone D - "The 8th of November", which none of them shall ever forget - God rest the souls of the guys who didn't make it:


On November 8, 1965, the 173d Airborne Brigade during Operation Hump in War Zone D in Vietnam, were ambushed by over 1200 Viet Cong. 48 American soldiers lost their lives that day.

We lost so many in Vietnam and it seemed much of America did not care at the time. Thankfully we have come a long way since then in our respect for fallen warriors.

I wish I knew how these men could get through the song without breaking down...GREAT song, and I really don't care for Country that much.
