9 US Sheriffs Announce Press Conference to Call for Holder’s Resignation

Nine US sheriffs will hold a press conference on Friday morning and call for Attorney General Eric Holder to resign.

The sheriffs will also call for accessory to murder charges for any future victims of Fast and Furious guns.

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu and nine other elected sheriffs will hold a press conference to discuss ATF’s “Operation Fast and Furious.” 11am, Arizona Peace Officers Memorial, Wesley Bolin Plaza, Phoenix.

Holder Leading DOJ 'Cover-up' of Fast and Furious Investigation, Cornyn Says

Attorney General Eric Holder is leading what looks "more and more like a cover-up" of what he knew about a government-sanctioned gunrunning scheme that allowed hundreds of assault weapons to fall into the hands of violent Mexican drug cartels, says one of the key senators involved in the investigation.

Sen. John Cornyn told Fox News Wednesday that Holder is obstructing congressional investigations. “We need to get to the bottom of this and the attorney general is not helping,” Cornyn said.

“He’s obstructing access to the information that he says will exonerate him and his administration and would need to know what happened and we’re going to find out what happened," said the Texas Republican, who is chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Cornyn said Holder so far has given a “half-hearted and weak” explanation of what he knew about Fast and Furious and when he knew it. The attorney general needs to be called back to testify under oath before Congress, he said.

“If there’s nothing wrong here, if he just didn’t know about it, then he should welcome that kind of inquiry to clear up this confusion,” he said.

Instead, Cornyn said, Holder “is just hoping to brush this under the rug and as happens so often in Washington, it’s not the original offense that’s so bad as the cover-up and I’m afraid it’s beginning to look more and more like a cover-up.”

Wild Thing's comment........

I would love for them to do this with Obama too. But I realize one step at a time.

Holder isn't fit to be Attorney General. He's a disgrace and has no respect for the Constitution of the United States.

Damn it would be like Christmas if Holder was put
in say Pelican Bay maximum security prison and Obama was impeached over this....

So Comrade Babeushka.... So what you're really informing my Death Star II crew is that, "There are 9 new Sheriffs in town?!"

"Book 'em Danno / Sheriff Joe Arpaio!"

I am sure Holder was involved in Fast and Furious. I bet he, and obama, were probably the architects. F&F was an attempt to cause a reason to further diminish Second Amendment rights. This is on a par with Watergate. I hope the results are at least the same.

TomR you are wrong this is not on par with Watergate. This so much bigger than Watergate that it is like comparing the CVN Reagan to a sloop.
Watergate was about tracking $22 million of Cuban drug money that was being filtered into the 1972 election. Cuban intelligence did not us the DNC but that is why four ex-Cuban CIA employees, all registered Democrats by the way, under G. Gordon Liddy were searching the Democratic offices in the Watergate.
Fast and Furious on the other hand is a planned crime against the American People of the United States and Mexico.
