Representative-Elect Allen West:On FOX Sunday Morning

Representative-Elect Allen West told Chris Wallace this morning on FOX News Sunday that this liberal progressive agenda is the antithesis of who we are as a nation.

Wild Thing's comment........

Allen West is such a breath of fresh air. He hits the nail on the head in his comments.

In the 2008 elections, Allen West failed in his attempt to unseat liberal South Florida Congressman Ron Klein and lost by 9 per cent.

He came back again in the 2010 elections and defeated Klein this time by 9 per cent.

Here in a well worth your time three and a half minutes is a lucid, well informed, sharp, decisive, clear as day and unexpected response by West to a simple question on Islam posed by a Marine within a civilian audience to a panel last year that included the exceptional, very capable, well educated (holder of two master's degrees) Army Lieutenant Colonel and now Congressman Allen West from Florida's 22nd:

Wednesday Morning at 0600 in front of the capital LTC West will hold his first formation of newbies in preparation for their first run together. He's going to whip them into shape, gotta be in shape to kick democrat ass across the potomac and out of Washington.

When you look at what West did in Iraq, how he was able to get the information out of an Iraqi policeman who had information on insurgent attacks, and how he sacrificed his career to save his men, he reminds me of Gen Patton.

West has been taking some criticism for saying he wants to join the Congressional Black Caucus. I think this is a great idea on his part. What better way to show America what the Black Caucus is all about; how they're working to keep Blacks in economic slavery to the government.

I sure hope West sticks to his guns and doesn't go moderate on us. He seems exactly like what we conservatives want. But, we have been burned so many times I still have a shadow of doubt. Hopefully all the newbies will hold to their campaign personna and be exactly what we voted for.

Bob, I am one of those who question the value of Col West joining the CBG. That is an organization that is 100% communist(and not too bright). West might accomplish more by disdaining that group, but we will see how things pan out.

Tom, we have to remember that West is a military man who believes in taking the fight to the enemy and not holding back. Hopefully, things will work out for the good.

Rep. West wants to "join" tht CBC to prove that the Black Caucus is just another ploy by the Demorats to exploit and abuse the loyalty of black voters. It is actually the "Congressional LIBERAL Black Caucus" and however things play out, the "caucus" will face well-deserved embarrassment. I contributed a few $$ to Lt Col West's campain and have no regrets.

Carlos, thank you for that with West.

Mark, that was good thank you.

Bob, well said. I like that about hwo he took the fight to the enemy.

Tom, I agree about being burned so many times. They know we are watching all of them now like a hawk, I hope this makes a difference when any of them might start to slide to the other side.

Willy, yes, and my gut tells me West will not be a problem at all. He has faced bigger things then some democrat trying to change his mind.

Thank you all so much.

West has impressed me just aboot every time I have seen him speak. Clear, concise, Ebonics-free discourse from an obviously well-educated, level-headed, right thinking black man is truly refreshing. He makes the Sharptons and Jackson-Lees of this world look stunted by comparison.
