Mrs.Clinton Says She'd Negotiate With Iran

Clinton Says She'd Negotiate With Iran

Hillary Rodham Clinton called Barack Obama naive when he said he'd meet with the leaders of Iran without precondition. Now she says she'd do the same thing, too.

During a Democratic presidential debate in July, Obama said he would be willing to meet without precondition in the first year of his presidency with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea.

Standing with him on stage, Clinton said she would first send envoys to test the waters and called Obama's position irresponsible and naive.

But asked about it Thursday by a voter, the New York senator said twice that she, too, would negotiate with Iran "with no conditions."
"I would engage in negotiations with Iran, with no conditions, because we don't really understand how Iran works. We think we do, from the outside, but I think that is misleading," she said at an apple orchard.

She characterized her recent vote to label Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization as a way to gain leverage for those negotiations.

Obama and other rivals for the Democratic presidential nomination have been criticizing Clinton's vote late last month in favor of the resolution, comparing it to her 2002 vote authorizing the war in Iraq.

They have suggested that the Iran vote was the first step toward a military invasion there.

Wild Thing's comment........

"I would engage in negotiations with Iran, with no conditions, because we don't really understand how Iran works. We think we do, from the outside, but I think that is misleading,"

Who is she talking about when she said "we"? If she doesn't understand Iran, that doesn't mean "we" don't understand Iran. We don't engage in negotiations with Iran because we do understand how Iran works. And if you have no conditions, how do you negotiate?

Will she give Iran free 401Ks too?

A few other things Hillary has said: from NO To Hillary

"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
"We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society.”

"It's time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, for the few, and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity."

"We can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people.""

"We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own turf in order to create this common ground."

"I certainly think the free market has failed."

"I think it's time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector [oil] in the entire economy, that they are being watched."

"What I want to do is take those profits and apply them to alternative energy."

"I have a million ideas. The country can't afford them all."

Negotiate with Muslim Islamomaniac terrorists? The Iraniacs that stormed OUR U.S. embassy in Tehran in 1979 and held our hostages in isolation for 444 days? These same wackjobs that said the Holocaust didn't exist, the Jews are apes and that they'll wipe Israel off the map?
If the 31 Red States of America don't pick up on this...

I don't think so, Hitlery. Iran will NOT negotiate. I love this saying by Floyd Red Crow Westerman.

here is an ancient Indian saying that something lives only as long as the last person who remembers it. My people have come to trust memory over history. Memory, like fire, is radiant and immutable while history serves only those who seek to control it, those who douse the flame of memory in order to put out the dangerous fire of truth. Beware these men for they are dangerous themselves and unwise. Their false history is written in the blood of those who might remember and of those who seek the truth." -Floyd Westerman as Albert Hosteen in The X-Files episode "The Blessing Way"

Thats a good likeness, WT, of the Bride of Frankenstein.

I keep hearing that the Republicans don't have much to offer as far as a choice. The dems have even less. Obama, Hillary and the Effeminate johnie Edwards, whose wife has more stones than he does, at face value this is laughable.

Hillary keeps talking about all of her ideas, yet all of her ideas involve some kind of government run agency doing what normal people used to do for themselves. But what ties all her ideas together is US paying for them.

National Health Care, the Baby Bond, there are a few more she has come up with and how is she going to pay for all this great Socialism, ? Tax the rich, the almost rich, the middle class, the less than middle class.

In 4 years she will have achieve her goal of equality... This will be a nation without any wealth at all the government will have confiscated it all.

Marx is smiling from hell. His daughter is talking and keeping his ideas alive.

Darth, yep negotiate, thanks. Well not on my watch if I had anything to do with it. How stupid of Hillary and people her that think like this. By saying such a thing they truly show how little they know about Islam and anything about it.

Mark thank you so much, you gave me the idea about her being the Bride of Frankenstein.

Mark I agree the media keeeps pushing how wonderful the choices are for the dems and our are horrible. Well maybe we don't have a Reagan in the bunch but we sure have better people then the dems do.

Tom, good one, I remember her college paper that she wrote and then never allowed it to be seen after they got into politics. Very telling I would bet.
