Lawmaker Under Fire For 'Illegal Alien' E-Mail
Man Apologizes; Some Colleagues Not Satisfied

A state lawmaker is coming under fire for sending what he thought was a funny e-mail message to his colleagues.

Some people do not find it very amusing and want him to make a public apology.

Rep. Don Brown, R-DeFuniak Springs, sent a message from his state e-mail account that said, "Don't forget to pay your taxes - 12 million illegal aliens are depending on you!"

Brown said the message was intended to be humorous and to remind people about the upcoming tax deadline.

He apologized and said as far as he's concerned, he's done with the issue.

But members of the Florida Hispanic Legislative Caucus are taking exception to Brown's e-mail, calling it inappropriate and saying such e-mails have no place in the Florida House.

"That term, illegal alien, is extremely insulting to many individuals and I think there has to be something a little bit more public and a little bit more contrite in his apology," an unidentified member of the caucus said.

OH but the Democrat illegal aliens lover is NOT satisfied with an apology. NOOOooooooo

Lawmaker draws criticism for illegal-immigration joke

Rep. Luis Garcia Jr., D-Miami Beach, the interim chairman of the Hispanic Caucus, sent a message of his own -- to Speaker Marco Rubio, R-Miami, saying he had heard several complaints from Hispanic members and Haitian constituents.

"This e-mail has no place in the Florida House," Garcia said.
State Rep. Rene Garcia, R-Hialeah, said that "the comments in this e-mail reflect an ignorance as to the founding of both this state and our country. It deeply saddens me that this mentality still exists in what we consider to be a forward-looking government."

Wild Thing's comment......
Hey Garcia KISS my LEGAL American Ass!

Let me get this straight. We can no longer refer to illegal alien criminals as illegal aliens because they might get offended? This would be funny if it wasn’t so scary. I am sick and tired of the GOP apologizing. Apologize for what? The obvious fact that illegal aliens take advantage of tax payer dollars? They do. In fact, I can say on first hand knowledge that this is fact.

Absurd. PC culture run amok. They are illegal aliens! They are not lawfully here! Whats next? Will we hear PC folks complaining that we shouldn’t call drug dealers drug dealers and murderers murderers? Identifying a criminal by the name of his crime should not be offensive. And it sure as heck isn’t racist as some of the La Raza types have said.

When are our feckless leaders going to step up take a litte heat and speak the truth! ILLEGAL ALIEN IS JUST WHAT IT IS ILLEGAL!!!!!! There is no apology for who they are, you have no rights in this country because you have broken our law by entering ILLEGALLY. These organizations that demand rights, apologies, and all sorts of give me’s are in it for political cloat, media attention and government funding they can extort from our tax dollars!.

There is no doubt in my mind that political correctness is going to absolutely destroy this country. It damn near already has.

It was a joke! But it's sad because it's true.
My tax dollars are paying for people who aren't even suppose to be here!
I couldn't get any help if I went down there and tried to force my views on them.

WT & Lynne - What's more sickening is the Catholic Churches in my state are harboring the muchachos and muchachas in this photo! And the Blue State Roman Cadillac Bishop is proud of his 'safe houses of worship'? Frau Vader is a Lutheran so I'm thinking about telling Pope Benedict XVI and his law breaking 'Vaticons' to stick it - Like Martin Luther did, and jump ship!

I wrote the local paper about this and to my surprise, they actually published it:

In a nutshell, since when is speaking the truth "racist?"

There illegal aliens from all countries in America but why is it the Hispanics that get their knickers in a wad? Here you got McCain and Hillary meeting with illegal Irish Immigrants:

This guy never mentioned Hispanics or Mexicans in his emails but they got all bent out of shape. I heard a preacher say once, "you throw a rock into a pack of dogs and the one who got hit is the one who yells". It seems Rep Brown threw a rock.

Well I'd like to know how are the ILLEGAL Irish are getting into the country, are they swimming the Atlantic to sneak into New York ? And how many are there ? 5 million, 10 million ... I mean if they are causing such concern from Senators Kennedy and McCain there must be a bunch of them. Maybe its time to deport Irish decendants whoes parents made Millions smuggleing illegal Irish Whiskey into this country, and bring back the NINA laws.

So we have a bunch of Illegal Irish and Mexican Nationals, is it me or is there a double standard.

I read recently, where Bush's 'new' plan would allow everybody in an Illegal Family to become citizens. In some families that amounts to about 274 people, Why the hell don't these MORONs in Washington just Anex Mexico then make it a state, then they could raise all our taxes and send the money to Senor' Calderon and he would know best how to spend it, ... On the Elite of Mexico, of course. And in return Mexico could sent North all their skilled labor, afterall we already have all of their unskilled labor, wives, anchor babies, child molestors, drug dealers, drunk drivers, Mexican Gangs, their diseases and whatever other Pox they bring with them,... Its no wonder we can't win a War. we don't even know how to lock the back door.

I don't know for sure but there may be a modicum of truth to the, smoldering rumors and the smoke screen trailing from the Whitehouse. The time worn adage of 'if you're not part of the solution then you must be part of the problem" is applicable here and third world George is implementing it.
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of
President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve,
protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
I don't see anything there that says a thing about supporting the constitutions, laws and illegals from Canada, Mexico or Ireland.

Political leaders have numerous reasons to promote the illegal immigration. Most of the reasons are economic. Such as cheap labor, consumerism and future numbers via children to keep the Social Security Ponzi scheme afloat longer. They also look longingly at future, even present, voters.

But, the politicians seem to not care at all about the culture clash. The illegals have a large, unassimilating sub culture. It is costly in so many ways. Social services such as medical care, their underground tax-avoiding economy, diseases and crime are just a few of the problems.

They also have a growing radical movement led by racial agitators. In a few weeks they are planning marches again, making demands for even more social services and rights, to include citizenship. They want to bring in their relatives and have them covered free for services we citizens pay for.

The politicians seem to live high and dry above this. Many, like John Edwards, John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi live in secured mansions. They really care not about society, just as long as we can vote for them and pay taxes.

As for President Bush and his support of illegal immigration. I have to think that he is a socialist at heart. I hate his support of growing massive immigration, legal and illegal. I really hate his phoniness on this issue. America is my love and I do not want Mexico, Canada and the US to be one big Pan American entity.

Darth, it is a mess and then here we are obeying the laws, our parents and grandparents coming here legally. It is just wrong, so wrong what is going on.

Posted by: Wild Thing at April 17, 2007 12:02 AM

Vilmar, that is fantastic! It is not easy to get a paper to publish a letter like that. Congratulations and thank you for the link and sharing about it.

Posted by: Wild Thing at April 17, 2007 12:03 AM

Bob it is double standard and they are good at. Thank you for the link. It is almost as though a person just has to give a look and it is taken wrong on purpose. augh

Mark, oh my gosh!!!!

(shaking my head) what on earth is happening to this world. sheesh

Thanks for the information Mark.

Jack your right, I don't see anything either about our Constitution and our existing laws. I guess they just don't matter anymore to our leaders.

Posted by: Wild Thing at April 17, 2007 12:09 AM

Tom that is how I feel about America too. I love it so dearly and never once have not loved being an American and feeling so fortunate to be one.

It breaks my heart that these illegals are not only allowed it, but encouraged and done so by those in power. It just shocks me and I can't get rid of that feeling.

Posted by: Wild Thing at April 17, 2007 12:11 AM

Tincan Sailor.........
"If they can't come in the front door, don't come"...... I agree.

I am not wishing for anything that my own family long ago did, they obeyed our laws when they came here from Switzerland. I will never stop expecting others to do the same.

How about the Irish illegals?

Here is a Real Media link to an interview that Bill O'Reilly did on Irish Television. In it, the interviewer mentions how the families of illegal Irish Immigrants are upset that these illegals can't visit home because if they do, they won't be let back in.

I wish O'Reilly had stated the obvious to that interviewer. Why should illegal Irish immigrants expect to be able to travel back and forth between Ireland and the United States when by definition they aren't supposed to be in the United States to begin with?
