Shrillary's Back and Screaming A Usual

New York Post
February 3, 2007

Pumping her fists and shouting to the rooftops, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton vowed yesterday to bring an immediate end to the war in Iraq if she's elected president.

"If we in Congress don't end this war before January 2009, as president, I will," Clinton pledged in a speech to the Democratic faithful as she staked out a new position on the conflict.

While she has been escalating her criticism of the war for months, yesterday was the first time Clinton spoke about what she would do about it if she wins the White House in 2008.

The former first lady's pledge to pull the plug on Iraq and bring the troops home came during the Democratic National Committee's annual winter meeting. She and her top-tier White House rivals, Sen. Barack Obama and former Sen. John Edwards, took tough stands against the war.

Clinton, raising her voice at one point to be heard above a few anti-war hecklers, also suggested that calls from Edwards and others to cut off funding for President Bush's troop increase are unlikely to win approval in a narrowly divided Senate.

"Believe me, I understand the frustration and the outrage," said Clinton, who is backing a Senate resolution that expresses disapproval of the troop surge but would not cut off funding.

Wild Thing's comment......

What is her plan? And if she has a plan, why doesn't she share it now? I still remeber how she came to the floor of the Senate in October of 2002 and supported the war; she even said that Hussein was associated with al Qaeda.

She says if she were president in Oct 2002 she wouldn't have started 'this war.' A-hem Hillary we went into Afghanistan in Oct 2001 and into Iraq in March 2003. Better have your team get their act together on the dates before you start yelling and screaming at voters your demands and pleas to become President.

September 15th, 2002, on Meet the Press, Tim Russert says to Hillary, "Do you believe that we could have disarmament without regime change?"

HILLARY: I doubt it. I can support the president. I can support an action against Saddam Hussein because I think it's in the long-term interests of our national security.

Neville Chamberlain said he would end war with Germany. You can always end war by unconditionally surrendering. When are liberals ever going to understand that appeasement and surrender do not equal peace?

She's sounding more and more like a Socialist.
Who's going to pay for the "health care for all?"
TAXES go up!
And what kind of "health care" will it be?
And what happened when that peanut farmer told the oil companies they couldn't make a profit? GAS LINES! EXTREME INFLATION!
Didn't she learn anything from the past?

How long have you been around and I just found you? I need some sleep first but I'll add you to the "Friends of Old War Dogs" blogroll before the day's out.

Goodness Lynn, my instant reaction was Jimmy Carter all over again too. Yep, kill what's left of industry, destroy the military, impose Communism on the people , give away our sovereignty and hope the UN will allow a tidbit or so of humanitarian aid to our people. Darfur anyone? National defense, no problem, she'll have Nazrallah and Hezbollah at her disposal, it's her style, just ask Vince Foster. Plus like Lebanon we can have anurans in blue turbans in the streets. She's a formidible force to reckon with now that GHW Bush is going steady with Bill, part of the extended blended family where only a DNA check can separate who begat who.
Half the people want her in office and after the last election half the other half do too.

I followed Bill's tracks over here. Nice place, thanks for your words.

I just have one concern if Ms Hillary does get back in the White house.

Will she return all the stuff that she and her hubby stole from the White House, or will they just keep it and order new stuff?

Oh, someone said she was sounding more and more like a socialist. That is because democrats are socialists, she has just been kinda hiding it.

I'm a bit older than Hillary Clinton; we sprang from the same era, but the similarity ends there. I went to war, she and her despicable cabana boy husband went to Yale.

Issue One with young people about Hillary ought to be her anachronistic '60's intellectual fetishes. You should never be ruled by the politics of the previous generation.

Issue Two with everyone should be that the pacifism of the old New Left like Hillary, and the new New Left like Obama, isn't the pacifism of conviction, it's the pacifism of the comfortable. War is an irritant, a bore, it intrudes on the good life and reminds you realities you wish to ignore.

She'll win the nomination. If she wins the Presidency, there are dark times ahead for everyone.

Thank you Lynn. You have reminded us of the perfect example. The failed economic history of Jimmy Carter will be the proposed economic policy of Hillary.

As President, Hillary will be a shrill, demanding, threatening dictator. She will act like she is riding the cotton pony(on the rag) every day.

Pappa Ray - good to see you drop by here. I enjoy your comments at Rednecks Revenge.

she's a psychotic bitch with no concience or memory of her own transgressions. with any luck, she will bury herself with her own rhetoric over the next two years.

Hi Bill thank you so much that means a lot to me. I love your blog so much.

Jack she is a dangerous woman in so many ways. Some say she will not win, I won't put anything past here to make every attempt even bringing out those old FBI files she and Bill did.

HI Papa Ray so nice to see you. I have been to your blog and think it is great. I doubt she will return anything they stole from the White House. You are so right she is a socialist and that is what Dems are.

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 4, 2007 11:42 PM

Rhod I agree if she wins it sure will be dark days ahead for everyone. America just cannot survive more of the Clinton's in the White House.

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 4, 2007 11:43 PM

Tom oh man oh man I hate the thought of that voice of hers. It is totally monotone and shrill then add in what she says it is just too much to take.

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 4, 2007 11:45 PM

Gregor everything you said Ditto! She sure is!!!!

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 4, 2007 11:45 PM
