Let me tell you who built America. I'd love to tell you who built America. America was built by people who fended for themselves, who expected nothing from the government except protection. They expected nothing from the government except protection from foreign enemies and a just rule of law. Other than that, stay the hell out of our lives. That's who built America. The very people who founded this country constructed that kind of a government. The people who built this country revolted against high taxes, a tea tax specifically. America was built by people who believed in individuality, rugged individualism. I love saying that because it so ticks off the left, rugged individualism, hard work, minimal government, freedom and liberty. You see, America was built by people who reject everything Imam Obama stands for, reject everything Imam Obama is doing. And that's why Obama and the suckers in his party who followed him are being rejected by the people. Obama and his party are being rejected because they are the antithesis of how this country was built and how this country grew.

The rich, the poor, the middle class, when America was founded, we didn't think this way. We didn't expect the government to punish other people. We didn't think the purpose of government was to get even with some people. We believed in private property rights. We didn't get caught up in this class warfare claptrap. Not when this country was built. Obama's actions, Obama's philosophy would have been considered tyranny. Obama would have been an outcast at the founding of this country. Obama would have been rejected, and so would his preacher, Reverend Wright. That's what Obama knows about the economy, is what he's been taught by Saul Alinsky and what he's been taught by the Harvard faculty and what he was taught by Reverend Wright. What is Obama's favorite line from Reverend Wright's Audacity to Hope speech? I know what it is. The favorite line is white folks' greed runs a world in need. That's what Obama knows.

Obama looks through the prism of racism at this world and he sees an America as founded as unjust and immoral. "White folks' greed runs a world in need." That is what Reverend Wright said; that's what Obama believes. Reverend Wright was also out preaching against middle classness. We have played those sound bites of Reverend Wright saying such a thing. So Obama's propaganda is the propaganda of failed, dead regimes: the old Soviet Union, Cuba. Obama's railing against capitalism. He's railing against private property. He's railing against trickle down. In his audience is a bunch of socialists, a bunch of union people. Barack Obama is the antithesis of the founding of this country. He would have been rejected as a bit player. Had Obama been around at the founding of this country and had he been known, he would be a joke in American history books today. But not now. Now he's president.

I want to rephrase something here before we go to the top of the hour break. Obama has rejected the American people and that's why the American people are rejecting Obama. He has no business talking about how this country was built 'cause it never would have been if it were up to people like him.

Everything he believes and everything he has put his emphasis on is failing left and right. Every theory that he has subscribed to for job creation and economic revitalization has done just the opposite. We're looking at a one-man wrecking crew, and he's here in Milwaukee and he is talking to a bunch of union thugs and he dares to tell the rest of the people in the country that he and only he can tell them what they need to do to wait around for the economy to revive, when everybody in the world knows that the single best thing that could happen for this economy is to get him out of any position of power to run it. Pure and simple. So to have to sit here and be lectured to by the wrecking ball, as somebody who doesn't have the slightest idea what he's talking about, he's a community organizer, he's nothing more than an agitator. He's so henpecked that when he leaves the house for dinner he goes and gets burgers because his wife is making him eat watercress.

He has not served this country. He has failed it and he continues to fail this country.

Long Island Man Arrested For Defending Home With AK-47

He was arrested for protecting his property and family.

But it’s how the Long Island man did it that police say crossed the line.

He got an AK-47 assault rifle, pulled the trigger and he ended up in jail, reports CBS 2’s Pablo Guzman.

George Grier said he had to use his rifle on Sunday night to stop what he thought was going to be an invasion of his Uniondale home by a gang he thought might have been the vicious “MS-13.” He said the whole deal happened as he was about to drive his cousin home.

“I went around and went into the house, ran upstairs and told my wife to call the police. I get the gun and I go outside and I come into the doorway and now, by this time, they are in the driveway, back here near the house. I tell them, you know, ‘Can you please leave?’ Grier said.

Grier said the five men dared him to use the gun; and that their shouts brought another larger group of gang members in front of his house.

“He starts threatening my family, my life. ‘Oh you’re dead. I’m gonna kill your family and your babies. You’re dead.’ So when he says that, 20 others guys come rushing around the corner. And so I fired four warning shots into the grass,” Grier said.

Grier was later arrested. John Lewis is Grier’s attorney.

“What he’s initially charged with – A D felony reckless endangerment — requires a depraved indifference to human life, creating a risk that someone’s going to die. Shooting into a lawn doesn’t create a risk of anybody dying,” Lewis said.

Grier said he knew Nassau County Police employ the hi-tech “ShotSpotter” technology in his area and that the shooting would bring police in minutes. Cops told Guzman he was very cooperative.

Grier also said he was afraid the gang outside his house was the dreaded MS-13. And Nassau County Police Lt. Andrew Mulraine, head of the gang unit, said MS-13 has 2,000 members in the county.

“They’re probably the most organized. They almost have a military hierarchy within the gang, so they are the most organized gang we encounter on a daily basis,” Mulraine said.

You may think a person has the right to defend their home. But the law says you can only use physical force to deter physical force. Grier said he never saw anyone pull out a gun, so a court would have to decide on firing the gun.

Police determined Grier had the gun legally. He has no criminal record. And so he was not charged for the weapon.

That ShotSpotter technology pinpoints where a gun has been fired within 35 feet. Police said it also detected two other shootings in nearby Roosevelt that night.

If a free citizen cannot be allowed to possess a fully-functional AK 47, then he is not a free citizen.

This man, was protecting his wife, children, and home - after being threatened verbally with death by 20 gang members, is the one charged by the police.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government won't enforce its own immigration laws, and sues the one state that at least attempts to find out who is even here illegally!

Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs says Obama will commemorate the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks at a memorial service at the Pentagon.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said that the president would attend a service at the Pentagon, while Vice President Joe Biden will travel to “Ground Zero,” the site of the attacks on the World Trade Center in Manhattan, for a separate service.

First lady Michelle Obama and former first lady Laura Bush will attend a memorial service in Pennsylvania, the site of the plane crash of Flight 93.

The president last year attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Pentagon.

Clearly, Obama wants no photo of him at a 9/11 ceremony. Has anyone else noticed that Obama rarely, if ever, is publicly present at any highly visible national ceremony, such as 9/11 Memorial Day wreath ceremony. My belief is that Obama does not want his Arab/Muslim buddies to see him participating in deeply american celebrations.

Obama wants to be in a closed environment he can carefully control so there are no embarrassing, unscripted outbursts.
He is afraid of what humiliating PR moments might be generated by the First Amendment rights of concerned citizens.

Remember after he was elected and then he had to go with President GW Bush on 9-11 to Ground Zero “commemorating” 9/11 and he just walked briskly by all the flowers and literally tossed the rose he carried onto the pile. Lots of disdain on his face.

The Council announced Tuesday that it has invited local imams to perform Islamic invocations at the beginning of the Council meetings in September.

Though meetings don't regularly begin with any form of prayer, an email from the Common Council called it "an act of solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters."

The email even referenced the ongoing issue in New York. "One of the goals of the Council is to give a voice to the many diverse peoples of the City, which is especially important given the recent anti-Islam events throughout the country."

Council President rJo Winch called it an important move for the Council. "I feel it is very important that, as a Council, we project a culture of inclusiveness in the City of Hartford. Too often it is our differences that divide us. In my opinion, it is our combination of differences that makes us strong," Winch said.

Jeremy Stoppel, a high school student who has two 3′x5′ American flags on his pickup truck was told by campus security to take them down. Jeremy said that the security guard told him that “this is a school that focuses on diversity” and that she didn’t “want anyone to feel uncomfortable.”

The principal of the school, Mary Lindimore, says the school itself PROMOTES the flag. She intends to speak with the security supervisor soon to find out what’s going on.

A high school student in Northglenn is upset that campus security told him to remove the large American flags flying from his pickup truck because it might make others uncomfortable.

Jeremy Stoppel told 7NEWS he got a ticket at Northglenn High School last Thursday for squealing his tires. He said he deserved that ticket and deserved having his parking lot pass suspended for two weeks.

But he's upset that campus security then told him he can't fly his 3 feet by 5 feet flags in the bed of his pickup truck anymore.

"She said I should take my flags down. She said this is a school that focuses on diversity and she doesn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable," Stoppel said. "How do you suppose anyone would feel uncomfortable in America with an American flag? That's where I'm confused."

He said he started flying his flags around school last week.

"Now that I finally get to drive to school, I have a truck, that's what I want to do. I want to fly my flags. September 11th is coming up so I wanted to fly them in honor of that," said Stoppel, who said his cousin is serving in the Navy.

Stoppel and his father want an apology from that security supervisor.

"To me, she's just threatening him, hoping that she can just bully him so he'll just take 'em down and just put his tail between his legs and say, 'I'm done. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.' And that's just not gonna happen," said Dan Stoppel, Jeremy's father.

7NEWS checked and the school has no policy against flying the American flag. In fact, Northglenn High School has a U.S. flag on the flag pole in front of the school.

"I am unaware of that situation. So I need to talk to that person, see why they did that, if they did that," said Northglenn High School principal Dr. Mary Lindimore. "We have 'em in the hallways upstairs. So we promote flying of American flags."

There is a policy that bans anything that creates a safety problem or which disrupts the educational environment.

When 7NEWS asked Lindimore if she could imagine any scenario in which the American flag would disrupt the educational environment, Lindimore said no.

Lindimore promised to talk to the security supervisor next week.

If one is uncomfortable in America, with American flags displayed, maybe one should get out of America. Every student should put flags on their cars or trucks and go to school that way..Get these anti Americans out of our schools .

Obama to Call for $50 Billion Spending on Public Works

Obama on Monday is to called for as much as $50 billion in government spending to start up a long-term public works plan emphasizing transportation projects – roads, rail and airport runways – over the next six years.

Mr. Obama layed out the plan, which is intended to promote the quick creation of construction jobs but would require Congressional approval, during a trip to Milwaukee on Monday afternoon, where he observed Labor Day by attending a union festival.

The spending is one part of a broader economic recovery package that Mr. Obama is to unveil during a speech in Cleveland on Wednesday.

With Democrats looking at a bleak election season, in large part because of high unemployment, the White House has been scrambling to find ways to jump-start the sagging economy.

While Mr. Obama’s plan would call for investment over six years, the White House says it would be front-loaded with an initial investment of $50 billion in taxpayer money, to help create jobs in the shorter term. The administration says it would work with Congress to find ways to pay for the plan, so that it would not add to the nation’s rising deficit. One possibility would be to cut existing subsidies for oil and gas exploration and production.

White House officials said Mr. Obama wanted to rebuild 15,000 miles of roads, construct and maintain 4,000 miles of railway – enough track to span the continent — and rehabilitate or reconstruct 150 miles of airport runways while putting in place a system that would reduce travel time and airport delays.

The president will also call for what the White House is describing as an “infrastructure bank” that would focus on paying for national and regional transportation projects.

Eric Cantor blasted Barack Obama’s latest play from his failed Keynesian playbook

House GOP Whip Eric Cantor is coming out against Obama’s $50 billion infrastructure plan by labeling it more “stimulus” spending.

“Today the president will use the Labor Day holiday as the launching pad for yet another government stimulus effort, another play called from the same failed Keynesian playbook,” Cantor said in a statement released before Obama announced his plan in Milwaukee. “More government stimulus does nothing to end this cloud of uncertainty.”

The White House has pushed back against the notion that the proposal to rebuild roads, rails and runways amounts to a second stimulus plan. White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said last week that a stimulus plan wasn’t being considered, and on Friday, Obama called his forthcoming plan a “broader package.”

Cantor said Obama’s plan is the White House’s “latest” stimulus effort.

"We need to cut spending immediately and end the environment of uncertainty that continues to impede real private-sector job creation and growth," Cantor said.

The top U.S. commander in Afghanistan said the planned burning of Qurans on Sept. 11 by a small Florida church could put the lives of American troops in danger and damage the war effort.

Gen. David Petraeus said the Taliban would exploit the demonstration for propaganda purposes, drumming up anger toward the U.S. and making it harder for allied troops to carry out their mission of protecting Afghan civilians.

"It could endanger troops and it could endanger the overall effort," Gen. Petraeus said in an interview. "It is precisely the kind of action the Taliban uses and could cause significant problems. Not just here, but everywhere in the world we are engaged with the Islamic community."

Hundreds of Afghans attended a demonstration in Kabul on Monday to protest the plans of Florida pastor Terry Jones, who has said he will burn copies of Islam's holy book to mark the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Afghan protesters chanted "death to America," and speakers called on the U.S. to withdraw its troops. Some protesters threw rocks at a passing military convoy.

Military officials fear the protests will likely spread to other Afghan cities, especially if the event is broadcast or ends up on Internet video.

Mr. Jones, head of the 50-member Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Fla., said in a statement that :

"We understand the General's concerns. We are sure that his concerns are legitimate." Nonetheless, he added, "We must send a clear message to the radical element of Islam. We will no longer be controlled and dominated by their fears and threats."

Mr. Jones has been denied a permit for the demonstration, but has said he plans to go forward with the protest.

Rev. Stephanie Sapp, spokeswoman for the center, said no one from the Pentagon or other federal agencies had expressed concern or asked that the event be canceled. She did say that the Federal Bureau of Investigation had discussed security measures.

Pentagon officials said they were not aware that any Defense officials have reached out directly to Mr. Jones. But military officers said they hoped that Gen. Petraeus's statement—an unusual move since military commanders rarely get involved in politics—would convince Mr. Jones to change his plans.

Gen. Petraeus declined to elaborate on the nature of the threats or violence that could occur, but westerners in Afghanistan have been warned away from restaurants and other public places amid the rising tensions.

Other senior military leaders echoed Gen. Petraeus comments Monday. Lt. Gen. William Caldwell, who oversees the effort to train Afghan security forces said he was informed of the planned Florida protests several days ago by a senior minister in the Afghan government.

Gen. Caldwell said many Afghans do not understand either the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment or the fact that President Barack Obama can't simply issue a decree to stop Mr. Jones from his demonstration. Military officials said they were not trying to deny Mr. Jones his right to free speech, but feared he was not thinking about the consequences of his actions.

"There is no question about First Amendment rights; that is not the issue," Gen. Caldwell said. "The question is: What is the implication over here? It is going to jeopardize the men and women serving in Afghanistan."

Military officials also fear that if video of the Quran burning is broadcast in Afghanistan, tensions could rise between NATO forces and the Afghan military and police. Allegations of mishandling the Quran have interrupted Afghan security training at least twice this year, Gen. Caldwell said.

In one instance, a Quran fell to the ground when an American officer opened a locker during an inspection of Afghan trainees' barracks. The rumor quickly spread that the officer had thrown it to the ground, angering the trainees at the camp. "He quickly apologized, but rumors took off like wildfire," Gen. Caldwell said. "It was so hard to get the misperception turned around we stopped all training for the rest of the day."

Reports about the Quran have set off violent protests before. A report in Newsweek, later retracted, that a U.S. interrogator at the Guantanamo Bay prison had flushed a Quran down a toilet set off riots in Afghanistan and elsewhere.

The message of peace pedaled into Pueblo on Saturday.

Riders with Bike4Peace, including former U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney of Georgia, who ran for president in 2008 on the Green Party ticket, stopped in Pueblo on a cross-country trek to the White House.

"We started at the House of Common Sense in Oakland (Calif.) and we're going to end at the White House, which needs some common sense," McKinney said Saturday at the Unitarian Universalist Church on the East Side, where the bikers were treated to a potluck meal.

McKinney and five others cyclists are biking across the U.S. promoting peace and conversations about "climate change, oil wars, health crisis and economic crunch."

The group is using bicycling to show how to reverse those four particular problems — it improves health, is more economical, environmentally friendly and doesn't require oil.

"It's getting people to ride bikes," said one cyclist, Aurelio "Yeyo" Garcia of Seattle, who gave his life to biking four years ago when he got rid of his car, quit his automotive technician job and sold his tools.

Riding partner Vernon Huffman of Oregon said he hasn't owned a car for a few years.

"We rely on cars to go everywhere and that's why (as a society) we're not really healthy," the former Los Angeles bus driver said. He explained how the simple act of bike riding could change world, national and personal problems.

"The bicycle is an empowering tool. I can go anywhere I want with it. It could be used to help climb out of homelessness. If you have a bicycle, people can get to work, get to appointments. They don't have to worry about transportation," Huffman said.

The group's journey began July 24. They have logged about 1,300 miles so far and leave today, heading east on U.S. 50 for Haswell, Colo., and then Kansas.

The cyclists are riding without any motor support.

For McKinney, who isn't a trained cyclist, the journey has been "challenging."

"The founders of Bike4Peace have done a wonderful job of marrying these two topics together, peace with bicycling," the Georgia native said.

"What I've found is that as we travel to all these different communities and engage in a different dialogue, we find commonality on these issues that these communities didn't know they had," she said.

Saturday's potluck gave Green Party candidates Bob Kinsey and Gary Swing an opportunity to stump in Pueblo.

Swing is running for U.S. Congress and Kinsey for U.S. Senate.

Aiken GOP censures Graham

South Carolina Republican Party members have had enough from progressive Senator Lindsey Graham. The Aiken County Republican Party recently approved a formal censure of the controversial senator.

The Aiken County Republican Party has approved a formal censure of U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.

The party’s executive committee took the action Thursday, joining a handful of other county parties, including Greenville’s GOP.

Committee member Pete Seaha, who also is the Aiken County Tea Party chairman, wrote the resolution and introduced it at the meeting. The resolution states in part that Graham won’t be invited to any party meetings or events.

“I don’t believe the senator is sticking to conservative Republican principles,” said Seaha. “In my mind, the senator has disrespected his constituents. He has said publicly on a talk show that he didn’t care what they thought.”

Seaha said it was his understanding that 18 people on the executive committee supported the resolution, while two opposed it and two abstained.

Kevin Bishop, a Graham spokesman, said via e-mail that while some of the senator’s friends may not want to meet with him, “his door will always be open. Sen. Graham respects those who disagree with him, but he strongly believes we need to keep an open dialogue.”

I bet his vote for Kagan sealed the deal about their decision. And there was also his relentless push for amnesty, heck there is a whole list one could mention. In the past Lindsey has publicly stated he pays little attention to the desires of his constituents.

Remember when he said this just a little while back........

FT. MEADE, Md. – A career officer in the U.S. Army acting as a judge in the prosecution of Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin today ruled that the military is no place for Barack Obama's presidential eligibility to be evaluated.

Army Col. Denise R. Lind today ruled in a hearing regarding the evidence to be allowed in the scheduled October court-martial of Lakin that he will be denied access to any of Obama's records as well as any testimony from those who may have access to the records.

With her decision, Lind mirrored a number of federal judges who have ruled on civil lawsuits over Obama's eligibility. They have without exception denied the plaintiffs' access to any requested documentation regarding the president's eligibility.

Lind ruled that it was "not relevant" for the military to be considering such claims, that the laws allegedly violated by Lakin were legitimate on their face and that the chain of command led up to the Pentagon, and that should have been sufficient for Lakin.

Paul Rolf Jensen, Lakin's civilian attorney, said the case would continue. But he said the courts now have denied his client the opportunity to present his defense.

Jensen had argued that under U.S.C. Rule 46, a defendant put on court martial has the right to call any and all witnesses and obtain any evidence in his or her defense.

Lind, who took 40 minutes to read her decision to the court, disagreed.

She said opening up such evidence could be an "embarrassment" to the president, and it's up to Congress to call for impeachment of a sitting president.

The decision came just days after a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant general who commanded forces armed with nuclear weapons said the disclosure of Obama's documentation is not just critical to Lakin's defense, but to the preservation of the nation itself.

The vehement statements came in an affidavit from retired Lt. Gen. Thomas G. McInerney, a Fox News military analyst, that was disclosed by an organization generating support for Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin.

Wow OK, this screams the Judge is more concerned with any “embarrassment” dictator Obama might feel than with upholding the Constitution.

Considering the documents that LTC Lakin is requesting are ones that other Presidents have voluntarily released, what exactly is the “embarressment” she is referring to??? sheesh
