Trey Gowdy At House Hearing Warns Democrats on Obama's Immigration Orders
In his opening statement at a House Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday on Barack Obama’s immigration executive orders,Trey Gowdy hammered the administration for ignoring the rule of law while warning Democrats of the long-term consequences of Obama’s actions.
"I gonna say this to those who benefit from the president's policies.
You may be willing to allow the ends justify the means in this case, you may well like the fact that the president has abused prosecutorial discretion and confered benefits in an unprecedented way, you may benefit from the president's failure to enforce the law today but I'll make you this promise, there will come a day were you will cry out for the enforcement on the law, there will come a day were you long for the law to be the foundation up this republic to you be careful what you do with the wall today because if you weaken it today you weaken it forever"
