Obama Skipped His AuntOnyango’s Funeral… Went Golfing Instead
Shae had lived in public housing for 5 years. Barack Obama was aware that Zeituni Onyango, and was living in the United States illegally
Auntie Onyango was the first person to greet Obama when he visited Kenya in 1987. He was very fond of her and wrote about her several times in his book, Dreams of My Father.
“Barack, this is our Auntie Zeituni. Our father’s sister.”
“Welcome home,” Zeituni said, kissing me on both cheeks.
He was so fond of her he didn’t attend her funeral.
After Zeituni Onyango, the woman President Obama once called Auntie, died in a South Boston nursing home this month, her closest relatives gathered her belongings at her nearby apartment. There, framed photographs of her with the president covered the wall.
Weeping before a polished wood coffin at her wake this past Saturday, they described Ms. Onyango, the half sister of the president’s father, as “the spirit of the Obama family” and talked about raising money to send her body back to Kenya. Mr. Obama helped pay funeral expenses and sent a condolence note, Ms. Onyango’s family members said, but the president did not attend, as he was golfing.

You know obama used his influence and pulled strings to let his aunt illegally stay in the US. However her death and funeral were inconvienent. Nothing is allowed to interupt an obama vacation or golf outing.

Why should this aunt be any different from the grandmother that raised him? He didn't go to Hawaii when she died.
