Wild Thing's comment..........

Bush was fantastic on the show. Nick and I were really laughing at how he responded to Jay's questions.

We all know that Leno somewhat left the plantation and that's probably why NBC is getting rid of him. Leno has been hammering Obama's policies pretty hard the past year. What I didn't know is that Leno flew down to Bush's ranch in Texas and spent some time with wounded Veterans. I didn't know Leno's wife was supporting Laura Bush in some of their projects to help women in Africa and Afghanistan; so is Hillary. When I listened to all that George and Laura are doing for women in these countries, the first thought that came to my mind was, "I thought Bush hated women". Don't all Republicans hate women? Then, I came to this realization on the difference between Democrats and Republicans concerning programs for women. Democrats LOVE to spend money taken from other people on women's programs where Republicans hate spending money taken from others. Republicans would rather spend their own money, like the Bush's, and money voluntarily given in donations.

This was a great positive for Bush. He came across as the very personable, decent man he is. His great sense of humor was front and center. I disagreed with some of President GW Bush's policies but I really admire the man. Laura is just a fantastic West Texas gal. And, I think Leno did a good job and Dubya came out of the interview looking good.
