Charles Krauthammer: 'The Gun Lobby Is The Majority Of American People'

Wild Thing's comment..............

The liberals are so predictable. Every single time there is a shooting there will always be a certain amount of liberals screaming about gun control of some kind. They spend more time talking about banning guns or a type of gun then they do speaking about the tragedy.......that is shameful.

Who is that woman that said the guns were easily obtainable online? She doesn't have a clue of what she's talking about. You don't order a gun online and have it shipped to your house unless you're a FFL holder.

No, you cannot buy firearms online w/o an FFL. However, yes you can buy ammo(if you are 18 or older), magazines, gun parts and supplies. Back in the 70's the anti gun peanut farmer president and his Dem pals passed legislation requiring a record be kept for all purchases of handgun ammunition. The purchaser had to present an ID(which Dems don't want for voting) and sign a record book kept by the seller and available to ATF. Luckily that signing and record keeping was dropped a few years later. My point is that the Dems have always considered ammunition control as a vital step to gun control and quasi gun registration.

"None of the weapons/ammo this gunman used is used for hunting or self defense"

Holmes used a 12 gauge shotgun, an AR15-22 and a .40 Glock. ALL these weapons are used for sport/hunting/self defense and the .40 is one of the prime self defense weapons calibers.

The .22LR is the single most used caliber in the shooting sports.

I wish some of these commentators would educate themselves before opining about limiting our 2nd Amendment rights in any manner.
