Anti-Semitic and Nut Case Ron Paul Wants to Pull Plug on A/C for Troops in Afghanistan

Ron Paul Wants to Pull Plug on A/C for Troops in Afghanistan

The Blaze

Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul wants to bring U.S. armed forces home from Iraq and Afghanistan, and one way to achieve that goal might be to pull the plug on their air conditioning. In a statement made during Wednesday’s GOP debate, Paul lamented the “$20 billion” spent pumping AC into tents around Afghanistan and Iraq where American military personnel are stationed.

Paul, who declared that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is broke, offered his idea for addressing the agency’s funding concerns. Paul suggested that the $20 billion spent on troops’ AC should be brought home, where he would then “take ten [billion] off the debt and put ten [billion] into FEMA” or another program like child health care.

“But I tell you if we took AC out of the green zone, our troops would come home and that would make me happy,” Paul declared.

But if our service men and women could not be brought home and instead were to remain in Iraq and Afghanistan, would Paul really want them to go without air conditioning in the sweltering desert?

Wild Thing's comment.....

Cutting off the Air-Conditioning in the White House will get the Obama’s out of there.

Ron Paul is moonbats. Although he knows a lot about the Constitution, he misquotes or misuses it for his own agenda.

Ron Paul is a nutty libertarian. An extremist libertarian. He has become a cult figure with a following of people doing nutty things. Still, I prefer him over the thugs and socialists on the Democrats' side.

I agree with TomR. He'd be better than them.

Sometimes he is spot on, but far too often his isolationist nutty off the wall out of nowhere comments disqualify him being commander in chief.

Dr. Paul, this former Air Force Flight Surgeon and fine obstetrician who delivered more than 4,000 babies, should either stay in Congress from Texas or go back to his good practice of medicine.

He is a good man and a fine American.

That stupid innane comment just shows what kind of a screwball he really is.

He has commented for years on the Military being too strong. He also said, we liberated the death camps because, we entered the war Illegally. Obviously, this pint sized scumbag never heard of Pearl Harbor. His friends, like Alex Jones a 9-11 Truther, paul wont come out and say it but he is always there for their insane rallies.

They have a big grudge against Israel. One such conspiracy is the USS Liberty, that was hit by Mossad in 1967, they blamed that on LBJ, Who had noting to do with it. These people are the ones who try to say big Bankers, and Money Fat Cats are responsible for all our wars. The raid did happen but it was a mistake pure and simple.

The other big attraction is pauls stance on Legalizing Drugs and Prostitution, probably 60% of his support are druggies who would embrace this.

But the biggie to me is his support of the MOSK at Ground Zero.

And Romney is the republican version of joe 'bite-me' Biden.

I agree, he does not think things through and the ramificartions of what he blabs out mean. That happens too much with him and he obvioulsy believes every word he says as well which if given more power would or could be dangerous on many levels.
