"The world is getting warmer": Romney
Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney broke with Republican orthodoxy on Friday by saying he believes that humans are responsible, at least to some extent, for climate change.
“I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that,” he told a crowd of about 200 at a town hall meeting in Manchester, New Hampshire.
“It’s important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may be significant contributors.”
The former Massachusetts governor fielded questions on topics ranging from the debt ceiling to abortion on his first full day of campaigning for 2012 Republican primary nomination.
Romney leads opinion polls in New Hampshire by a wide margin, and is among the top contenders nationally to win the Republican primary.
In addressing climate change and energy policy, Romney called on the United States to break its dependence on foreign oil, and expand alternative energies including solar, wind, nuclear and clean coal.
"I love solar and wind (power) but they don't drive cars. And we're not all going to drive Chevy Volts," he said referring to electric cars.
The United States can not go it alone in attempting to trim emissions levels and give a free pass to countries such as China and Brazil, Romney said. "It's not called American warming, it's called global warming," he said.

..if the "Republicrats" run Romney in 2012 I will vote third party. Romney is as least as bad as McCain, probably worse and CAN NOT unseat Obama-as if it would make much difference if he did. Cain, Palin, (Christie or West if they run) but Romney must be stopped. And no time for the flake Hackabee either.

In case you didn't know, Chris Christie is also a big believer in man made global warming. It seems him and Romney are Goremonites.

As George Carlin says how arrogant to think WE as humans could have anything to do with this. The BP oil spill is gone. Mere weeks after it stopped the oil was gone. And the Media is running around asking , quietly of course, where's the oil. The planet ate it, dissolved it by its own means as it has done for Billions of years.
As Carlin says, "the planet isn't going anywhere, we are and will shake us off like a bad case of fleas".
The Rinos'Like: Romney, huckleberry, Chrisite, Gitrich and whatever other nitwit the RNC offers will be the same on this global warming scam.
If the RNC offers another McCain like last time they will lose and obama will win. The choice will be obama, democrat, the RNC Candidate a wannabe democrat and a Conservative , TeaParty. Thanks to the RNC we will get obama and his stupid socialist ideas for another 4 years and probably lose the country.

Bob, yes, there are several things about Christie that are not good, I have not liked him since he put a Muslim on the court and he was not against the mosque at Ground Zero.
