Sheriff Dupnik's Office Gagged After 'Controversy' with Prosecutors

FOX Nation

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has suddenly turned off the flow of information in the January 8th mass shootings in Tucson. Shortly after noon Tuesday Sheriff’s PIO Jason Ogan released this terse, one-line statement:

“Until further notice, due to a controversy between the Sheriff’s Department and the County Attorney’s office, no further information reference the January 8, 2011 shooting will be released.”

The stupid idiot Dupnik was making the case for the defense.

Exactly. Dupnik is a defense lawyer's dream. Stupid and politically biased.

I have a few things to say about this.

This is a much larger story than is being reported as this is so emblematic and alarming of where we are as Americans in 2011.

First, this was done by the South Carolina Chapter of the NAACP at the State House in Columbia, South Carolina.

Here's a better picture of the scene there earlier this week:

This incident reminds me of the President's visit to Georgetown University early in his administration when crucifixes where draped in black prior to his visit and speech there:

http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local-beat/Jesus-Missing-From-Obamas-Georgetown-Speech.html

This week's incident in South Carolina should come as no surprise at all. This group of people feels empowered and now licensed to do these things.

After all, and who can forget, it was the First Lady who said, "Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."

Our basic precept of God and Country from our civic and social studies classes is completely alien to these people.

This is all part of this continuing rewrite of America's good and noble history by expanding this revisionists' thought and appeal to our young people led and championed by this malevolent group gathered at the White House which has come to divide us as a nation. This cannot, nor will it stand.

If these people are so offended by a statue of George Washington or a crucifix on a Catholic college campus, they should all pick up their things, leave this country and leave us Americans alone.

The prosecuting attorney is going to have a tough time of it. I'm really surprised he wasn't told to zip it when he began spouting off on the first day.

Yeah, that's what it looks like, somebody stuffed an oily rag in his yap.

Unfortunately Mark, no one lit the rag.
