Wild Thing's comment.......

I love his direct answers and his stand for our country, for Israel and speaking the truth!

I feel the same way, Wild Thing.

Battalion Commander West is my favorite of those newly elected to Congress in 2010. He's always clear as day, lucid in speech, and comes across as sharp, decisive and well informed. Career military, he hold two master's degrees.

West showed some real bravado in Iraq, and despite the controversy and legitimate criticism, his interrogation incident (which was in violation of UCMJ) clearly and decisively saved the lives of the men in danger from sniper attack and under his command.

West represents the fortunate Floridians within Florida's 22nd District which comprises the Florida east coastline of Palm Beach and Broward Counties which includes Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Coconut Creek, Oakland Park, and Plantation where he lives.

If he keeps this up after a few years in Washington with such conviction and his manner of being, Allen West may well have a very good future in his continued service to our country.

We need more inclined like him, and could sure use more retired military like him in Washington.

Col West has an astronomical amount of knowledge of the Middle East. It amazes me how he formulates his opinions based on historical facts of the area. We need this man in the White House!
