Nancy Pelosi to Run for House Minority Leader

.

ABC

In the wake of Tuesday's shellacking, outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, has been widely expected to step down as the Democratic leader and leave Congress.

Not so fast.

High-level Democratic sources in the House tell ABC News Pelosi is seriously considering staying in Congress and running for the position of minority leader.

Pelosi is methodically calling every Democratic House member who won on Tuesday, as well as many who lost, sources tell ABC News. In the process, she is weighing her options and gauging her support.

Some of Pelosi's closest allies are encouraging her to stay and to lead the Democratic effort to win back their majority. Those encouraging her are arguing, in part, that she can unify the progressives in the caucus, and more importantly, that nobody in the House can raise money for the next campaign better than Pelosi.

Wild Thing's comment..........

Obama and Nancy are both apparently vying for the Queen of Denial.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid are the unholy Democrat trinity. Obamacare, socialism and raising your taxes.

Power is a drug and an addiction to some. Perhaps a disease like alcoholism. Harry Truman called it "Potomac Fever."

Besides Obama, Pelosi is also the person the not as left dems ( not as left as obama and pelosi ) in their party wanted to try and sound more middle of the road during the election. hahahaha

Thinking right now about that plane she insisted on, she has to say good bye to that now too.

I would love to see the Dems reject Pelosi's bid for minority leader. That could be her comeuppance if she didn't understand the meaning of the recent elections. She is obviously a very dull blade when it comes to reality.

Listening to that interview that Megyn Kelly held, it becomes so very obvious how the elite think in this country.

That woman, Sam Whatever, trotted all of the cliches' and rhetoric that we've been hearing, from the Progressives, since the Clinton Administration. These people have in effect, just had their hat handed to them, and still they live in this state of euphoric, "Holier than Thou", attitude.

Listen to our "Dear Leader", his reaction to the situation was that he didn't communicate well enough. Are you kidding me? For the first year of his Presidency, you couldn't turn on the TV news without watching some speech he was giving, some where. Again they are so insulated inn their world that they cannot fathom anyone raising a voice against them.

We had all better hope that the newly elected Republican Congress, does not fall into a compromising attitude with these idiots. If they do, nothing will be accomplished, and this Country will quickly become like the State of California. DOOMED!

I saw Nancy Pelosi fall off of the Golden Gate Bridge into the bay this morning, and, being a responsible citizen, I informed the emergency services.

They still haven't responded.

I'm beginning to think I've wasted a stamp.

She's like something stuck to the bottom of your shoe. Something that you need a stick to remove. (Use your imagination)

Good one,s. Why are the ugliest women all members of the democrat party. Rush is right, the democrats allow easy access to main stream society even though they are as ugly as dog crap.

Hillary is popular, the Israeli's hate her guts, the rest of the world can't stand a Woman as Secretary of State, she makes Madeline Halfbright look like a genius.
