Behind The Scenes At WH About The November Election

CBS's White House correspondent Chip Reid with the President at a rally in Columbus Sunday night tells us what's going on behind the scenes at the White House (The exact opposite of what Robert Gibbs said on Meet the Press Sunday morning)

I have been trying hard not to post any predictions. I don't want to jinx the election outcome for our side. You know like the predictions from Dick Morris and others that are making lists of how many will win etc. It just is too scary to think we might not do well.

This video is not that kind of prediction that might mess us up. It is simply how Obama and his WH are ' feeling'. That touchie feelie liberal thing like the song goes.... " Feelings' .

Let's keep at it we are getting closer then ever to Nov.

I am also not getting overly optimistic about the election. If the Repubs do less well than predicted and don't take at least one part of Congress, then that will be a great propoganda coup for obama. I will vote, then hold my breath for the election results.

I think every one is going to be ecstatic come November 3. The die has been cast so to speak. Somebody made the commment that in a month it will be the same old thing. If that's the case then they too will be voted out and we will keep doing that until they get the message. And that is Limited Government and much lower Taxes.

Tom, that is what I am doing too. We voted today ( early vote) and now I will hold my breath, and think positive.
I feel it will be good.

Mark, thank you I hope so. I am postive about it, I am just so scared to post predictions.

I agree with you whoever said it will be the same is wrong. It will be different and we will get a lot elected. I do believe that very strongly. This time we are getting some awesome conservatives elected and new people too.
