Statement by Gov. Brewer Regarding SB1070 ~ Judge Blocks State From Enforcing Federal Law! sheesh!

Gov. Brewer on Hannity regarding the Immigration Law Ruling ...EXCELLENT interview.

Governor Jan Brewer ........"Unfortunately for America and Arizona today, the feds got temporary relief to not do their job. I am disappointed by Judge Susan Bolton’s ruling enjoining several provisions of SB1070; though I am heartened by some findings – including the ban on sanctuary cities. This fight is far from over. In fact, it is just the beginning, and at the end of what is certain to be a long legal struggle, Arizona will prevail in its right to protect our citizens. I am deeply grateful for the overwhelmingly support we have received from across our nation in our efforts to defend against the failures of the federal government."

And this statement as well :

“This fight is far from over. In fact, it is just the beginning, and at the end of what is certain to be a long legal struggle, Arizona will prevail in its right to protect our citizens. I am deeply grateful for the overwhelmingly support we have received from across our nation in our efforts to defend against the failures of the federal government.

“I have consulted with my legal counsel about our next steps. We will take a close look at every single element Judge Bolton removed from the law, and we will soon file an expedited appeal at the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
“For anyone willing to see it -- the crisis is as clear as is the federal government’s failure to address it.
“The judge herself noted that the stash houses where smugglers hide immigrants from Mexico before bringing them into the country's interior have become a fixture on the news in Arizona and that, ‘You can barely go a day without a location being found in Phoenix where there are numerous people being harbored.’”
“When I signed the bill on April 23rd, I said, SB 1070 – represents another tool for our state to use as we work to address a crisis we did not create and the federal government has actively refused to fix. The law protects all of us, every Arizona citizen and everyone here in our state lawfully. And, it does so while ensuring that the constitutional rights of ALL in Arizona are undiminished – holding fast to the diversity that has made Arizona so great.
“I will battle all the way to the Supreme Court, if necessary, for the right to protect the citizens of Arizona. Meanwhile, I also know we still have work to do in confronting the fear-mongers, those dealing in hate and lies and economic boycotts that seek to do Arizona harm.
“We have already made some progress in waking up Washington. But the question still remains: will Washington do its job, and put an end to the daily operations of smugglers in our nation, or will the delays and sidesteps continue? I believe that the defenders of the rule of law will ultimately succeed with us in our demand for action.”

.

Wild Thing's comment.......

Our country lost, Arizona lost, the America people who believe in the Rule of Law lost. The Judge is another Leftist cut from the same cloth as Janet Napolitano. America defeated by a cabal of hate filled Leftists, bent on the destruction of the country they grew up in.

So now we have judges blocking states from enforcing federal law.

Anger, does not even come close to how I feel.......... It is beyond anger......and that anger is directed at Obama for demanding this to happen and this judge, this so called judge.

Time to send Governor Brewer some more money to appeal this decision.

The thing that boggles the mind is that the ILLEGALS ARE BEING TREATED LIKE THEY HAVE RIGHTS! What the hell is that?

Everyone knew that this was not going to be easy.

Gov. Brewer will continue the fight and the amount of support from the citizenry, will not diminish.

The one thing to keep in mind is the Liberal bent of the 9th Circuit. Because of this, Arizona could well lose at the next step also.

The saving grace is that the 9th Circuit has more rulings overturned by the Supreme Court, than any of the other Circuits.

Another point of interest. Rhode Island and Oklahoma have similar statutes already in effect.
How is the Court going to deal with that?

Last night on Fox Laura Ingraham had on an attorney who worked with Justice Thomas and also was a Constitutional Lawyer.

His opinion and it is believed to be true is this:
Yes there is a Temporary Injunction on parts of the law. However, There is a foot note on the Judges papers that states regardless of the injunction the Police will decide whether to request ID or not and proof of citizenship.

Sheriff Arpaio, said it will be business as usual and he has plenty of Vacancies.

The press has blown this up as a huge victory for obama it is not.

Governor Brewer said she will push this all the way to the Supreme Court.

Also according to this legal expert, the 9th circuit is known for its screwy rulings but it depends on who you draw and they have upheld a lot of conservative votes in California that have been challanged. So the fight has just begun.

It is not time to panic not yet.

Buy Ammo and keep it dry. Because it is going to get much worse before it gets better.

This is setting up to be a battle about the Tenth Amendment, states' rights. Border security is the Fed's obligation. But what to do when the Federal govt fails in it's obligation. Do states then have the right and obligation to their citizens to protect those citizens?

Gov. Jan Brewer is fighting the good fight. All the border states governors should be backing her 100% but then only a few politicians have the courage she is showing. Shame on the others, including my governor, Rick Perry of Texas.

She should have ordered the (IN)Justice Department to uphold Federal Law.

I fought in a war for my country and was willing to die for her. Today's America is not the America I once knew and defended. I pity those who now swear allegiance to O'Vomit for he does not care one bit whether they live or die. To O'Vomit, our finest young people are merely pawns in his power game and are expendable.

FUCK YOU O'VOMIT!

This is a perfect example of how central planners always fail with in this case little regard for the people of Arizona who are American citizens in a border state that are suffering.

Remember, this group now assembled in Washington are Citizens of the World, not American Citizens.

America First is anathema to them.

Thank you for your service, Eddie. We honor your service with gratitude and reverence.

They do not.

To them, civilians and soldiers alike, are but minions for them to govern and manipulate with their social engineering.

This ideology will soon be repudiated by Americans.

An American renaissance is forthcoming, and the freedom loving America you knew, defended and write about we will see again and soon.

The Stars and Stripes Forever.

BobF., I agree, she really has impressed me.

Sean, thanks. Sean, when I lived in Calif. we had a vote about illegals I forget what year this happened, but it overwhelimgingly passed. It was called 187. I will never forget this as long as I live. The left did not like that it passed so they took it to court after it was voted in and the liberal judge overturned it. overturned our vote. He went against what the majority of Calif. had voted they wanted. It was so horrible so see this happen and to feel like our vote did not count.

I think that is when I began to see how our country had changed to not listening to we the people.

Mark, thank you for sharing that.

I hope this makes more people wake up about how Obama and people like this Judge are not FOR our country and are doing all they can to make it dangerous for citizens.

Posted by: Wild Thing at July 29, 2010 04:17 PM

Tom, thanks for that. I was so hoping Rick Perry would go strong on this and publically back Gov. Brewer, that would be such an awesome team if he would, since Texas along the border also has a big problem.

Posted by: Wild Thing at July 29, 2010 04:19 PM

BobA., I am not sure how that works if she can do that or not, but yes that would be great too.

Posted by: Wild Thing at July 29, 2010 04:21 PM

Eddie, well said, I agree with you. I feel so badly for those serving now. Obama is a total disgrace on all levels including as a human being.

Posted by: Wild Thing at July 29, 2010 04:23 PM

Carlos, well said and thank you for your input and being here.

Too bad McCain doesn't have the balls that Jan Brewer has.
