Counterterror Adviser John Brennan Defends Jihad as 'Legitimate Tenet of Islam' ~ Whiskey Tango Foxtrot??
Obama’s top adviser on counter-terrorism – John Brennan – is in the news today for his description of how the Obama Administration is approaching the Islamic Jihadist enemy America faces today. Basically, they are pretending the real enemy does not exist. Here is what Brennan said:
“Our enemy is not terrorism, because terrorism is but a tactic. Our enemy is not terror, because terror is a state of mind – and as Americans we refuse to live in fear. Nor do we describe our enemy as ‘Islamists’ or ‘Jihadists,’ because ‘Jihad’ is a ‘Holy Struggle,’ a legitimate tenet of Islam.”
This is not the first time Brennan has made this argument. Back in August of last year, Brennan made an extensive speech laying out the radical worldview of President Obama and his administration. It was this speech in which they essentially declared that the “War on Terror” does not exist.

The president's top counterterrorism adviser on Wednesday called jihad a "legitimate tenet of Islam," arguing that the term "jihadists" should not be used to describe America's enemies.
During a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, John Brennan described violent extremists as victims of "political, economic and social forces," but said that those plotting attacks on the United States should not be described in "religious terms."
He repeated the administration argument that the enemy is not "terrorism," because terrorism is a "tactic," and not terror, because terror is a "state of mind" -- though Brennan's title, deputy national security adviser for counterterrorism and homeland security, includes the word "terrorism" in it. But then Brennan said that the word "jihad" should not be applied either.
"Nor do we describe our enemy as 'jihadists' or 'Islamists' because jihad is a holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam, meaning to purify oneself or one's community, and there is nothing holy or legitimate or Islamic about murdering innocent men, women and children," Brennan said.
The technical, broadest definition of jihad is a "struggle" in the name of Islam and the term does not connote "holy war" for all Muslims. However, jihad frequently connotes images of military combat or warfare, and some of the world's most wanted terrorists including Usama bin Laden commonly use the word to call for war against the West.

Gee, I feel so much safer now, after reading Brennan's circular logic. 'Trust No one' the truth is out there.' Mr. Mulder. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer a lie sandwiched between two truths is most difficult not to believe.
The X-files was more believable than this White House. These 'Advisors' tell obama what he wants to hear, if the information doesn't exist or is wrong they make it up as they go along. The whole damn thing is a sham, a Fantasy world or like the cartoon 'Barry's World'.

Think about this for a minute? He's absolutely correct when he says our enemy isn't terrorism as terrorism is a tactic.
During WWII, our enemy wasn't sneak attacks or the Blitzkrieg which were only tactics. Our enemy was the Japanese and Germans. We didn't declare war on the tactics or instruments used to carry out the tactics...tanks, planes, and aircraft carriers. We declared war on a people.
Our war isn't against terrorism, it's against the people who use and believe terrorism is a part of their religion. As a nation, we've failed to recognize our enemy, instead focusing on their tactics instead.
If you need to hear it again, listen to Lt. Col West identify our enemy

Ok if Terrorism is a tactic and I agree and all muslims are misunderstood, according to this bunch, then who is the enemy ? But they still haven't produced ONE moderate muslim.
According to Tavis Smiley, "Christians do this all the time blow people up, look at columbine, I could go on all day about this."
Its great when people like ole Tavis tries talk to an audience. Columbine, The Columbine twins were not Christians they were confirmed Atheist and even taped this before they attacked at Columbine. But don't confuse these people with the truth because they are strangers to it.

What Obama is hiding is that George W. Bush was a better friend that the Muslims ever deserved. Being in the Oil industry as George H.W. Bush was (Bush 41) you meet the most virtuous Muslims in the world. Industrious, insightful and hard working, they only stay Muslims for political convenience and because Islam lets you have multiple wives. There is actually a culture within Islam of men who can contribute to the modern world. If people like George W. Bush spend enough time around such people they get a distorted view that Islam might transition into a society of such men. The one or two percent of the population that they represent is less than it was five hundred years ago.
