Anti-American Obama and Calderon On WH Lawn Jointly Attack Our ILLEGAL Immigration Law

Obama Tells Mexican President ""we are defined not by our borders, but by our bonds."

Obama and Calderon jointly attacked the law on the White House lawn today. They were basically falling all over each other to see who would win the I-Hate-The-AZ-Law-Most contest. Calderon said the law “forced his people to face discrimination” and he called for a “border that would unite us instead of dividing us.” Translation – if you could just go ahead and make it easier for our people to walk on over the border illegally without penalty or consequence, that’d be terrific. In fact, if you could also provide refreshments along the way TO the border, so that they wouldn’t have so much to carry on their trip through the desert, we’d appreciate it.

Calderon went on: “…we will retain our firm rejection to criminalized migration so that people that work and provide things to this nation would be treated as criminals.” Hey Calderon – crossing the border illegally is a crime – hence the whole, you know, criminality of it.

Obama, Calderon Blast Arizona Immigration Law During White House Visit

Obama, speaking next to Calderon during Wednesday's state visit, called the tough immigration law a "misdirected expression of frustration over our broken immigration system."

"We're examining any implications especially for civil rights because in the United States of America, no law abiding person -- be they an American citizen, illegal immigrant, or a visitor or tourist from Mexico -- should ever be subject to suspicion simply because of what they look like."
Obama said he has directed the Justice Department to review the law and said he expects to receive a final report soon.

Arizona's law, which takes effect in July, will make it a crime under state law to be in the U.S. illegally

Calderon said the law discriminated against Mexicans and called for the two countries to work together to develop an immigration policy that did not force people to live in the shadows "with such laws as the Arizona law, which is forcing our people to face discrimination."
Calderon, whose remarks were translated from Spanish, said "We can do so if we create a safer border -- a border that will unite us instead of dividing us.
"We are and will continue to be respectful of the internal policies of the United States and its legitimate right to establish, in accordance to its Constitution, whatever laws it approves," he said, "But we will retain our firm rejection to criminalized migration so that people that work and provide things to this nation would be treated as criminals."

Wild Thing's comment........

Great, just what was needed. The WH as a backdrop and forum for a foreigner to come into our country and malign our states and their citizens trying to enforce legitimate laws.

"we are defined not by our borders, but by our bonds."

No, we're defined by our laws, not our bonds. Our bonds develop out of our laws, bonding us to those of similar mind and love of freedom, and the rule of law.

At least, that's the way is was...

Hard to see this happening. An acting president makes the announcement that this country will not protect our own borders. Doesn’t surprise me given who obama is, but damn, this is an official announcement from the white house that we border states are on our own. And the bad guys around the world are getting that message as well. Good thing I’m not President. I’d show him the door, tell him the American people have a right to defend our border, our homes, and our lives, and his continued flaunting of our laws is an act of war. Then I’d send the army to guard our borders with orders to shoot to kill.

Ronald Reagan rightly said, “A nation without borders is not a nation.”

I am so sick and fed up with Obama and his bashing our country and what he did with Calderon he encouraged him to bash our country as well. FED UP! Enough Obama! TREASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Class system is alive and well in Mexico. Calderon a Castillion, not Mexican wants to rid his country of all the welfare Peons. What better way to purge your own country, of losers, than to shovel your problem onto a willing, stupid, easily duped neighbor.

Obama, a Kenyan muslem, Soutpiel puppet communist, hates the United States and sees the Illegal Aliens as a potential voter base to draw from to keep his ilk in Washington for the next 60 years and promote America as an emerging third world country. Which is where we are headed. And amnesty for 20 Million Illegals will just accelerate the path to the Third World status.

Obama is too stupid to understand that once the money runs out, everything stops. The Rich of whom he plans to redistribute THEIR wealth is not a bottomless pit but a finite pool of wealth and once gone that's it.

Are we the only ones in the country that see this?

I don't even think Bill Clinton would have allowed a foreign leader to stand on American Soil and bash the people of this nation.

I wonder why that POS Calderon didn't tell us of the people he has in prison for sneaking into Mexico illegally. Why didn't he tell us how people who come across his southern border are not only imprisoned but beaten?

The Obama administration is a Calderon....err Cauldron of anti-American hatred.

Like Mark, I wonder if we are the only ones who see this, or at least see the long term ramifications of what this A-Hole President is doing.

I am so sick and tired of this Moron selling out the United States.

His Domestic Policies are eroding us from within and his Foreign Policy or lack of it, has weakened the strength and influence the United States once had.

Once you start down the road that we are on it is impossible to get back. Folks like us have got to start spreading the word and exercising influence among those who are complacent or clueless.

I hate to sound like "Chicken Little", but I truly believe it is coming to this.

As Washington in May 2010 welcomes the President of Mexico who claims Arizona's attempts to control its border is, "a violation of human rights that opens the door to intolerance and hatred", let's all take heed of the following:

Mexico's own immigration laws requires you to prove you have the means to sustain yourself financially; there's no free schools, no free health care, no free anything. You cannot have a criminal record.

You can't protest the government or get involved in politics. Enter under false pretenses, and you are deported or imprisoned; same if you violate your visa status. Reenter illegally, and it's a ten year prison term.

Aid illegals and you go to jail. Your ownership of property is restricted and local and municipal police must assist federal immigration authorities in arresting illegal immigrants, many deported without due process.

Unlike us, Mexico enforces its immigration laws.

Rest assured that we Americans citizens recognize and call you on your hypocrisy President Felipe Calderon of Mexico. Don't accuse us Americans of hatred or human rights violations and intolerence.

So as our current misguided President apologizes to you in Washington for Arizona's attempt to do what Washington will not, we Americans do not apologize for Arizona; and yes, real change is forthcoming and very soon.

didn' the Jerk in Chief say "We are a nation of laws"? When they wrote the Declaration of Independence (while referencing the King) they wrote "he has untterly neglected to attend to them." laws. Sounds like that fits Obama to a T.

Here's what I don't get: Bush was in for 8 years, wanted to reform immigration law, etc. Why wasn't this done while he was in office? Why wait until Obama? Double standard maybe???

Calderon needs for us to let his riff-raff, un-educated masses in so they can work and send money back into Mexico, money, by the way that will never do a thing to improve or sustain the United States of America, to keep him in business and in office.
My online design shop has seen an increase in sales in the last month, 90% or so of which come from the section:
http://www.cafepress.com/frankopinions/2068238
And the biggest seller this month is one saying "Arizona has got it Right"
http://www.cafepress.com/frankopinions/7152751
and my "Maricopa County Sheriff's Posse" is running a hot second. Not only in Arizona either. Americans who think before they act are P.I.S.S.E.D. over all this.

If the GOP had any sense and guts, they would run the footage of Calderon's speech before Congress as a campaign ad, with subtitles identifying the applauding Democrats, again and again and again, from now to November, and again in 2012.

This is just plain wrong. It is inexcusable for the leader of a sovereign nation; one does not let the leader of another country come to yours and denigrate both your country and you publicly, nor does one support him against one's own countrymen.

Mark, good point, I used to think we were the only ones that saw what obama was and his agenda. Those of us on here and other blogs and offline there were some I would speak with that were outraged too. But thank God more and more people are seeing it, the Tea Parties and Townhalls really woke me up regarding that we are not so little a minority. We are many and our voice gets louder all the time.

BobF., good way to put it.

"Cauldron of anti-American hatred. " It sure is.

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 21, 2010 01:32 AM

Sean, you don't sound like "Chicken Little", at all. This nightmare is a reality and yet I still am shocked every day at what obama does and says. I just can't help it. It has effected my life in so many ways, I bring up obama every chance I have and even when I don't I draw his name into the conversation just so I can say the things he is doing against our country. I never did that before, like I am on a mission to wake people up or check them out and see where they stand.

We really do have a real live enemy in power, an enemy of our country.

Just a side note, we all need to laugh too when we can and try not to get sick physically. Obama effects our health too, when we stay upset so much of the time.

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 21, 2010 01:38 AM

Carlos, thank you for pointing that out about Mexico and US and the difference how they handle this. That is important and I never knew how much our country is one of the weakest at holding to our already existing laws for immigration. Other countries are strong like you said about Mexico. I wish we would have those in power that respected our laws more.

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 21, 2010 01:40 AM

Dave 18Zulu, your so right, and yes it fits obama to a T.

Frankly that is fantastic. The one about AZ. is perfect and speaks volumes. Thanks so much for the links.

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 21, 2010 01:45 AM

Curmudgeon, oh my gosh I would LOVE that to happen. GREAT idea. And keep hammering how it is a law and has nothing to do with being against immigration but illegal immigration. I hate sooooo much how the left LIE about this whole thing.

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 21, 2010 01:50 AM

Anonymous, ditto all you said.

Anon, I want that to happen so much. Impeachment. Thank you so much for the link and information Anon.
