The implosion of Texas Stadium

This is the implosion of Texas Stadium yesterday morning, April 11, 2010. Texas Stadium was the home of the Dallas Cowboys from 1971-2008. They moved into Cowboys Stadium to begin the 2009 season.

Wild Thing's comment.....

This was kind of sad to me. When I lived in Dallas I went to a ton of the Cowboy games so there are a lot of memories of this Stadium.

The only Cowboy game I ever went to was in the Cotton Bowl and Don Meredith was the QB. Tom Landry was the coach. Guess that dates me, but those were the days.

At least the new stadium does have a roof that can slide open so God can watch his favorite team.

Tom I love how you put that about the roof on the new one. ( big smile)

Those were the days I went to the games when Landry was the coach.
