Pro Abortion Bart Stupak Gets Out Before He Is Kicked Out! LOL

Bart Stupak, who made a big fuss over federally-funded abortions being in the healthcare bill, and then fell for Obama’s “executive order” before ultimately voting for the healthcare bill, is retiring.

Stupak: "Throughout the past year, I've worked alongside my collegues to achieve health care reform and I'm happy to help bring it across the finish line"

Takes a shot at Bush: (at 4:26)

"In 2004, after I voted against the war in Iraq, I worked to elect John Kerry so that we could bring the illegal, immoral war to an end"

This is not only a speech about his retirement, this is flipping the bird to Republicans.

The Tea Party Express to launched a $250,000 ad campaign against Stupak this week. The group also scheduled a handful of stops on its bus tour in Stupak's district.

Rep. Bart Stupak won't seek reelection

Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), who played a central role in the health reform fight as the leader of anti-abortion Democrats, announced Friday afternoon that he will not run for reelection, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family. Without Stupak on the ballot, the seat becomes an immediate pickup opportunity for Republicans.

At a press conference in his home district this afternoon, Stupak attributed the exertion of traveling back and forth from Washington to his sprawling Upper Peninsula district as a primary reason for his retirement but also said that he had completed much of what he aimed to do in Congress.

“I’ve accomplished what I want to do. Either I run again and I’d be there forever or it’s time for me to make the break; it’s time for me to move on,” Stupak said.

But Republicans immediately attributed Stupak's decision to step down as a direct consequence of his health care vote.

“After selling his soul to Nancy Pelosi, it appears that Bart Stupak finally found the courage to tell her no," said Ken Spain, communications director of the National Republican Congressional Committee. "The political fallout over the Democrats’ government takeover of health care has put the political careers of many Democrats in jeopardy, thanks in part to Stupak’s decision to abandon his alleged pro-life principles."

Wild Thing's comment........

Sic Semper Tyrannis!

I titled it saying Pro Abortion because he is as far as I am concerned, if he had been for real and truly against it how on earth could he have voted for obamacare.

BOO HOO people were being mean to him, tell that to the babies killed by the abortions from the obamacare. Bart will have this as his legacy. People will say now oh you have been Stupaked.

He condemns babies to death and then retires on his big pension. Man with no principles, no values, no character, decides to retire —— And that’s a good thing. Character, that single word you will never associate with Obama.

Thank God for the Tea Party's . They had a HUGE effect on these people that are getting out of politics, I really believe that. They have gone to their offices, townhalls, Washington D.C. , protest rallies where these pro socialized medicine freaks would be.

From my understanding, $1 of every premium payment will go to all of us paying for abortions.

We are NOT citizens of a representative democracy! We are subjects of a ruling Marxist plutocracy that only care about their own wealth and power.

....Thank you Mark for sending this to me.

Stupak spelled backwards says: K-a-p-u-t-s as in Kaput machen, he's toast, stick a fork in him he's done. Good riddence. Another seat we can get, from this two faced, phony, left wing, nothing, loser.

What a moral coward and pretender. Of course he is leaving Congress. I just wish it was because he was voted out.
