Pentagon Metro Shooter John Patrick Bedell Was a Registered Democrat

The press in the U.S. is already trotting out that Bedell was a Right-Wing extremist.

The the Christian Science Monitor calls the pot smoking, Bush-hating, Truther a right wing extremist.

John Patrick Bedell: Did right-wing extremism lead to shooting? Authorities have identified John Patrick Bedell as the gunman in the Pentagon shooting. He appears to have been a right-wing extremist with virulent antigovernment feelings.

.

Don’t buy the right-wing b.s. This guy was a nutter, no question, but he was a nutter of Truther persuasion. It’s the Democrats that embrace that conspiracy theory…them and the Ron Paul folks. ~ Wild Thing

The Pentagon shooter is linked to several gay rights groups along with PETA, NPR, various drug legalization orgs, Greenpeace and Al Franken.

Source:

There was a shooting just outside the Pentagon today, at a security checkpoint. Two cops were injured; breaking reports say the suspect, J. Patrick Bedell, has died.

The suspect, believed to be a U.S. citizen, walked up to a security checkpoint at the Pentagon in an apparent attempt to get inside the massively fortified Defense Department headquarters, at about 6:40 p.m. local time. “He just reached in his pocket, pulled out a gun and started shooting” at point-blank range, Keevill said. “He walked up very cool. He had no real emotion on his face.” The Pentagon officers returned fire with semiautomatic weapons.

And Internet research shows that the guy was a 9/11 Truther and an anti-Bush nut case.

Wild Thing's comment.......

The leftist ideology spawns murderous, psychotic behavior. But the media and press just love to go after right wingers immediately whenever something like this happens. Sheesh!

No mater how much you folks on the right wish to make this guy seem like a disgruntled Democrat, there is one fact that is crystal clear, he was seriously mentally disturbed and refuse to take medication, self medicating with Marijuana which no doubt made his condition him worse.

"HOLLISTER, Calif. — The man who opened fire in front of the Pentagon had a history of mental illness and had become so erratic that his parents reached out to local authorities weeks ago and warned them that their son was unstable and might have a gun, authorities said Friday."

David I realize your a Democrat that is obvious in your first sentence. I do want to thank you for the link to the article at FOX.

But I want you to understand something you missed in my post. The first thing the media did, was to say this person was a right winger. Right away, THEY do it all the time and they do not base it on facts but simply because of their hate for Republicans and Conservatives.

Also my point in this post was to point that out and yes to show that he did vote Democrat up to 2008. Not sure what the heck he was after that.

I thought only Right wingers were deranged. How can this be a democrat who is crazy and lost his mind. Evidently drank too much of the obama kool-ade.

This man had some serious mental problems. His parents probably should have tried harder to get him committed. Luckily he did not kill anyone else.

The man who crashed his plane into the IRS building in Austin, Texas was reported to have been a big supporter of obama.

Wow Chrissie!!! I just can't believe that this man would turn against his country in such an unconventional way. A frontal attack no less, where is the gravatas of his birthright?
He had all of Congress, the Senate and their president to set the proper examples of sedition, he even had Adam Gadahn to show him the path to righteousness. Smoke a bong, wear a thong, bang a gong,sin-a-long, ding dong, seemed normal to most of the herd.
Registered? Is that synonymous with certified? Was he a right wing defector like Arlen Specter or just another wannabe? Curious infidels would like to know.

I've seen water buffs go crazy and have to be put down, dogs do that too, but usually some worm meds cure all that fast circling and snapping at their rectums.

Hi Wild Thing, thanks for your civil reply.

One thing I have to ask you as a veteran, I notice you don't like draft dodgers so how do you square away the fact that Dick Cheney took 5 deferments from serving in Vietnam and George W. Bush's father placed him in the National Guard so that he didn't have to fight in Vietnam?

Thanks!

"The man who crashed his plane into the IRS building in Austin, Texas was reported to have been a big supporter of obama."

Reported? By Whom? That's a lie, TomR and you know it!

You can can not give ONE link where he's was a "supporter of obama."

"He railed against politicians, the Catholic Church, the "unthinkable atrocities" committed by big business, and the government bailouts that followed. He said he slowly came to the conclusion that "violence not only is the answer, it is the only answer."

"I have had all I can stand," he wrote, adding: "I choose not to keep looking over my shoulder at `big brother' while he strips my carcass."

Btw, I love the picture of your Bichon Frise, they are such happy dogs they always look like they're smiling!

I'm a big animal lover myself, 5 cats and 3 dogs all rescues, won't even eat meat because of the violence involved in killing those animals.

Mental Illness + 9/11 Truther crap = this.

Mark, haha good one.

Tom, yes thank goodness he did not kill more people.

Kyle, thanks for the link, nice to meet you and very nice blog too.

David, I don't like it at all that Cheney did that. It ticks me off. Regarding George W. Bush, I honeslty have no problem with his service at all. I am one of the few that wish all citiznes had to serve in the military, like they do in Switzerland and Israel. But I know I am not in the majority with that feeling. :)

David thanks for sharijg about your animals. That is wonderdful, me too I love animals and am never without cats and dogs.

Anonymous, that sure has a connection for sure.

Great, thanks for your thoughtful and civil answer, I'll be honest you're one of the few right-wingers that don't name call, much respect for that.

Yes, I'm probably 180 degrees from you politically but that doesn't mean that people have to be rude and ugly to each other.

Ditto with the animals, they are so pure all they ask for is a little affection and kindness and they give back so much in return.

I pried a small bird from my big black long-hair kitty, Smokey, who doesn't have a mean bone in his body a couple of days ago... put the bird in a soft, dark warm place overnight much to my amazement the bird was perfectly fine and unharmed and when released went straight to the bird feeder in the back yard!
