Robert Gibbs Concerned With Tea Party Movement and Sarah Palin Mocks Both

Robert Gibbs Mocks Tea Party Movement During White House Press Conference

Question: How closely did the White House monitor the tea party convention this weekend? Do you have any reaction to it?

Robert Gibbs: I didn’t watch it at all. (smile)

Question: Do you see the tea party movement as a real political force this year?

Robert Gibbs: Look it seems to be a very successful private enterprise. I would say that there appear to be fewer speech makers that are unemployed in this economy than what might have previously been reported.

This was the same day that Obama called for an "end to petty politics."

And here is is making fun of Sarah Palin.

At the White House Press Briefing, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs jokingly mocked Sarah Palin, for writing notes on her hand at last week's Tea Party Convention, with a grocery list and the words change and hope in case he "forgot".

.

Wild Thing's comment.......

Gibbs will only be in business as long as Obama wants him to be or till the next Presidential election when I pray America wakes up and boots these America haters out of the White House.

Sarah Palin has gotten in their head, bigtime!!! LOL They just can't stand it. All this does is make people like Sarah even more. They identify with notes written on hands, or some other reminder, they don’t identify with teleprompters.

Gibbs is the LAST person who should be trashing anyone. He makes Baghdad Bob look like a MENSA member.

Gibbs is a moron, a definite product of inferior breeding.

The State sponsored media, the White House and every other left wing nut case has been attacking the 'Tea Party', Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann and others who dare question their loyalty to our country.

Two things come to mind: First, we are making an impression and they have to take notice. They don't want to they want to write us off as insignificant, but the numbers are too large and recent election results tell them they can't. They also don't understand it, hence they make fun of anyone who belongs as a marginal character of the extreme Right wing.

Second, The Tea Partyers want to return to the Constitution and original ideas of the founders that of limited government. To these progressives the Constitution is an impediment to their cause of increasing government. As Reagan pointed out in that video, Nationalized Health Care is the fast track to Socialism. We don't want to go there. If obama loses his Health Care he may as well resign, because he will be done.

I see this as obama running scared. Now suddenly, he's willing to go 50% with the Republicans, when a month ago it was behind closed doors and no Republican was allowed in the same building.

They are scared to death.

Why can't he raise himself above the fray and be an adult? The Admin. is a bunch of juveniles. What is next high school locker room humor? I can hardly wait for that. Time is so precious, and this group of clowns have wasted almost 14 months of fighting for freedom and smartly looking at the economy. Can't STAND these people!!!!!

A lot of moans and groans at that press conference. Starting to look like the Carter era. When carter proved beyond a doubt that he was incompetant, the media turned on him in a wild feeding frenzy. Maybe, hopefully, the media smells Gibb's and obama's blood in the water and is getting hungry.

Booby Gibbs is a badly behaving child. Just because Sarah wrote something on her hand does not mean she is stupid.

I agree with each one of you.

It is also interesting too that not only in politics but also in social life the left will do the same thing we see Gibbs doing and others on the left, to those with high standards and moral courage to take the high road when the opportunity arises.
