Dallas Cowboys and Jets Win Their Games

These are highlights of the Dallas Cowboys 34-14 victory tonight over the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card Round of the NFC Playoffs. The Cowboys dominated the game by scoring 27 points in the 2nd Quarter for a 27-7 lead at halftime. They then coasted to victory in the 2nd Half.

For Dallas, it was their first playoff victory since 1996, and was the first playoff win ever for both Coach Wade Phillips, and Quarterback Tony Romo.

The victory was the third time this season Dallas defeated the Eagles, and the second week in a row. The Cowboys beat the Eagles last Sunday 24-0 to win the NFC East Crown.

Dallas heads to Minnesota now to face the Vikings next Sunday in the Divisional Round of the Playoffs.

Rookies Shonn Greene and Mark Sanchez lead the Jets offense in Sartuday's win over the Bengals in the AFC wildcard playoffs. Darrelle Revis shuts down Chad Ochocinco for the second straight week.

You mean Philly still hasn't WON an NFL SUPERBOWL after 44-years? Toooooo bad! I see a Dallas versus San Diego POKES vs. BOLTS finale? My NY Midgets were gutless...

Yeah Romo finally put it together long enough to pull out a win. Of course it was Philidelphia, the city of Hope and Change, who they had to pull it together against. McNab usually crumbles in the playoffs and was true to form, again.

Son of Bum (Bum Phillip's kid) usually does well in the first round. Next week should be telling. Because they will run into the NFL's version of the "Tide". I am hoping they have to go to Minnesota,...Ahhh damn, that's indoors...double damn.

The Jets came out roaring and took it again to the Bengals. That was a good game. If Patriots win today the Jets go to Indy, that will be a different game than yesterday. If the Ravens win its San Diego either way probably a loss. Two tough game either way...yes Reevis did shut down Ochocinco turned him into OchoStinko.

What a good game! Watched Dallas stomp a mudhole in the Eagles, and then as they walked it dry. From the start, it was obvious that the Phillys weren't very well controlled. Their mad dog blitzing didn't gain them much, and their lack of cohesion got them enough penalties that they didn't have a chance. Ain't the "Jones Majal" one hell of a place to have a game? Now on to Minnesota to do in the Vikings. Go C'boys!

I hope the Cowboys can continue to play as well for another few games as they did last night and as they did against New Orleans. Dallas has the ability and the tools.

America's Team is headed to the big show. Tired old Farve is next on the Cowboys blitz list.

America's Team is peaking in the playoffs and we UP here in Texas do dearly love the angst displayed by the East Coast-dominated major sports media who can't tolerate a Dallas win in the Super Bowl. We thrive on the anti-America's Team attitude on the east coast. Nobody even remembers the deadskins.

If only we'd had Harvey Martin around to toss a black funeral wreath into the losing Eagles' locker room after the game!

HOW 'BOUT THEM COWBOYS!
