Obama summons Senate Dems to WH
Barack Obama will meet with Senate Democrats at the White House Tuesday to press for action at a make-or-break moment for his health care overhaul.
All 60 members of the Democratic caucus have been invited, according to three Democratic officials. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the announcement was not yet public.
The meeting comes as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid works to round up votes to get a sweeping health bill passed before Christmas. The outcome is uncertain with moderates in danger of defecting on issues including abortion and a proposed expansion of Medicare.

Actually, obama is doing what I had wished GW Bush had done. Lead. Bush started with a Republican majority in Congress but he seemed to not pay attention to it. To me the President is the figurehead leader of his party and should encourage them to vote in support of his policies. Bush let his majority loll around with seemingly no agenda or leadership and the Repubs lost big in '06.

People,please tell me that i am crazy,paraniod and obsessed with hatred for Hussein "X" and his minions. I am about to link Obamacare with "Hopenhagen". At Hoaxenhagen, they are pushing human population control, people are a plague. Meanwhile ,back in Washington, the three-headed ghoul Pelosiobamareid are ramroding a plan of health care "reform" that will not reduce the ranks of the uninsured but merely change the composition of the uninsured and in the end leave even greater numbers out in the cold and if the math in my head is right, save 16 sents for each additional dollar spent. In Copenhagen what is being pushed is forced abortion and sterilization-euthanasia and eugenics are never far behind because these bastards are MALTHUSIANS (look up Thomas Malthus in yahoo, not commie-slanted google). Essentially,depopulate the world based on some scale of values and make it a better world for the "elect" that remain. Husseincare,with or without the public option etc (for now) relies heavily on rationing. Look up the "Complete Lives System", the brainchild of Dr. Ezekial Emmanual,who is yes .the brother of Bammy's consigliere "Manny Nine Fingers' Rahm. This is the guiding force behind Obamacare and it prioritizes care for those aged 15-40 because under 15 society does not have enough invested in you yet and if over 50,you have already lived "complete lives' so bye-bye. If you have any defects,your life is not worth living anyway. Emmanualcare will help promote what seems to be the top goal of Hoaxenhagen, reducing population,particularly in "first-world" countries. Please convince me that I am crazy to link the two events.
