The Evil Left Coming Out With Their Version of Lookalike Book "Going Rouge"

Lookalike Book "Going Rouge" is Coming

EW.com

We know that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin can hunt, and even field-dress a moose, but how will she take to poachers on her book sales? Start-up publisher OR Books has announced plans to publish Going Rouge: Sarah Palin An American Nightmare, a collection of essays about the maverick Republican with a title — and cover design — remarkably similar to Palin’s upcoming memoir. What’s more, OR’s paperback tome will be released on Nov. 17, the same day that Palin’s own Going Rogue: An American Life hits shelves — and one day after Palin’s just-announced, first-ever appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s show.

Going Rouge is compiled by Richard Kim and Betsy Reed, two top editors of the left-leaning weekly The Nation, and includes essays by Nation regulars like Katrina vanden Heuvel, Naomi Klein, and Katha Pollitt. It’s the first release from OR Books, a fledgling outfit founded earlier this year by publishing veterans John Oakes and Colin Robinson that “embraces progressive change in politics, culture and the way we do business,” according to its website.

I realize that this anti-Palin book is a paperback and probably won’t be stocked anywhere near Palin’s hardcover memoir in bookstores, but are these jackets look too similar to be, well, fully kosher? At the very least, might some hockey-mom-loving conservatives be confused enough to pick up the wrong book? You betcha!

OR Books isn’t unique in its attempt to capitalize on Sarah Palin’s upcoming memoir, Going Rogue — nor in rearranging the letters of the title for its own effort. Cartoonist Julie Sigwart and political satirist Micheal Stinson are self-publishing Going Rouge: The Sarah Palin Rogue Coloring & Activity Book, a 48-page paperback that will be released Nov. 17 (the same day as the G.O.P. firebrand’s autobiography as well as OR Books’ anti-Palin essay collection, also titled Going Rouge). The sample pages on the book’s promotional website fall clearly into the realm of political satire, including a coloring page with lipsticks and pigs (naturally) and a caricature of Palin in fishing overalls and possible “fishing gear”: a gun, a saw, an ax, and a bomb.

Wild Thing's comment......

This is desperation from the far left! Someone behind the scenes had to pay for this to happen. They must be TRULY fearful of Sarah Palin

Disgusting how the far left have become. A bunch of angry, vile, maggots.

They can't even spell correctly (unless this is part of their plan):

Going Rogue vs. Going Rouge.

I do think they are wanting people to make the mistake of buying the wrong book. Like someone in a hurry and grabs the book and thinks it is the one our Sarah did.

They can write all the 'smack' they want, it will draw more attention to Sarah Palin and convert more people. These people will see the fear in these people and what they are trying to generate. Sure the hard core Libtards will think it really cute, but real Americans, will not find the humor in it. They are cutting off their own nose dispite their face.

It wouldn't surprise me if obamao was involved in this. This dirt bag is attacking Fox, the US chamber of Commerce and a few other organizations they don't like, so this just seems to fit.

They are scared to death of this woman it is the only explaination as to why they are trying so hard to destroy her.

She's a strong woman and that scares those femi-nazis. She took on the biggest state in the union, raised 5 kids, made her marriage work and yet, she is demonized for one thing or the other. Like they are so much better. Yeah, she made mistakes in her life, but who doesn't? So she goes to a more "modern" church? So what? I do too. She is a rogue. She's one of a kind and that scares them to death. She ought to sue them for defamation of character.

It's like Glenn Beck said last night: the three accusations of the EL (evil left) are always the same: "wrong thinking", "danger" and "profits". You can tell just by looking at the cover page of the coloring book that these are the accusations made against Palin: she has the wrong ideas, she's danger, and in bed with big corporations (profit). How funny!

P.S.: rouge is a makeup color for cheeks, I think

I smell a Soros in the wings...he's got the cash and the motivation to fund this crap. I still want to publish an Obama Dress-up paper doll book. One page would be muslim dress, another a pimp suit, a third a Benedict Arnold uniform...etc.

If any knowing political neophyte were looking for someone who could go up against the left, wouldn't it beprudent to see who the left is most afraid of? Sarah Palin gets a great endorsement from the left in this regard. The more they spew about her, the more I like her. And, I am far from alone in this mindset. Sarah is the real deal and the left, (and many politicians on the right), cannot handle it. Presidential or not, she is a great figurehead for the real conservatives within the Conservative party.

When these two books come out, you can be assured that Borders and other leading book stores will prominently display 'Going Rouge' or it will at least put very close to the actual Palin book,
The problem will occur when Going Rouge start getting returned for exchange or refund.
Some one has to eat the loss, and it's going to be the retailer.
Once again the Soros based left most likely, have outsmarted themselves.

Sarah's book will sell like hotcakes. Yes, the Left is scared and envious. Their cowardly deception will backfire on them. I will buy extra copies to give to my local library. I like SEAN's idea that the phony books will be returned causing trouble for the retailers.

"Going Rouge," you're right. What would they do for more Palin-bashing sequels as 2012 nears... "Going Eyeliner" or "Going Lipstick"?

Going Rouge, i.e. going red, sounds like a perfect title for the Communist book. I hope than any bookseller that carries the phony book gets stuck with them. But what the hell, these idiots bought Franken's book "Lying Liars' then they put Stuart Smalley there in the Senate to balance that other liar Kerry. "So, basically, the strategy is: you get me to lie, because if I don't, everyone goes to jail for perjury?" ~ Stuart Smalley Ah!!! The truth indeed!!!!

"They can't even spell correctly (unless this is part of their plan):"

Rouge: any of various cosmetics for coloring the cheeks or lips red

I love when the marginally literate try to make websites, offer political analysis, or whatever it is you're doing here.
