2 Million Plus at September 12th March on Washington D.C. Can You Hear Us NOW????

ABC News, however, reported " this afternoon that the crowd was estimated at 2 million.”

So far, estimates have ranged from "tens of thousands" to "1.5 - 2 million."

Michelle Malkin's blog also has an estimiate of 2 million as well.

Earlier in the day, ABC was reporting 1.2 million per DC police reports.

Some of the media reports making it less. not sure what is going on why they want to make it less then it was. Weird.

The crowd size estimate is now 2 million. President Obama ducked out and went to Minnesota for the day.

According to Obama's mouthpiece Robert Gibbs, "I don't know who these people are".

THEY ARE AMERICANS YOU STUPID FOOL! AMERICANS, THE PEOPLE YOU WORK FOR!!! OH THE ARROGANCE!

DeMint said he was "proud" to be part of those protesting against a government takeover. "I'm more comfortable with these people than I am (with) the ones in front of me in Congress," he said.

2 Million marchers. Wow!!! Stuff that up your 1 million man march muslin ass Louis Farrakhan.

As DeMint say's; The people are a lot more angry about government than just the healthcare issue.

Mason Weaver " Mr President "behold" your only public option, "No more hyphenations" "rope and chains not hope and change". " I believe his message will ring in most homes.

Jack, I watched the whole thing and cried through half of it. hahaha Just tears of happiness to see such a great turnout and the hearts of those that got to go and what it took to get there.

Silent no more!!!!!

I wish I had the whole speech Mike Pence gave, it was great.

You and all other Veterans made this day possible, if we had not been a land of the free we could not have had any of these Tea Parties.
We just have to fight to keep it now.

And Obambi splits town...........
He probably thought we would have the torches and pitchforks out today.........well soon...soon!!

Posted by: nucingfutz at September 12, 2009 05:58 PM

Torches, pitchforks and Rope.

This is great I never imagined our side could mount this much of a protest. Especially when we are not the ones who usually protest. I would bet 90 percent of those people have never protested anything. This is working American's, the ones who pay obama's bill. The whuss ducked out of town, what courage, what character, what a putz.

"WE have a dream... not a NIGHTMARE... and will take OUR country back!" Over two million VALID birth certificate carrying AMERICANS! Word I'm hearing in Washington DC CCCP is that Hillary will run in 2012 for the Democrats if Obamessiah continues to fall and fail... How sweet this is. GOD BLESS AMERICA now more than ever.

President Obama ducked out and went to Minnesota for the day. Must be solace amongst brother muslims there.

nucingfutz, LOL yes Obama left town for the
day.

Thanks WT. Great post! And Robert Gibbs, like a bunch of the left news outlets, is trying to play it down. Hard to play down 2 million angry taxpayers. Momentum is building.
Thanks vets!

Mark, same here I had that feeling
too.

And the dictator did a stupid speech
out of town pushing his healthcare and
also putting down Republicans and anyone
that disagrees with him.

Darth, yessss God Bless America.

And just think too of how many more
there are to add to this. All of us
that could not go but where there
in spirit the whole way.

Seeing this makes you proud to be an American. Thanks Chrissie for posting this.

Posted by: BobF at September 12, 2009 08:04 PM

Wow Chrissie. Thanks for this post. I had watched part of this, but got involved in something else. I thought that they probably had tens of thousands at the DC rally. Now to look at these pictures and videos and see hundreds of thousands maybe up to 1.5 or two million. This is great. There were other local rallies across the country and lots of them were reporting many more people than they had planned on.

This sends a message to our politicians. We are fed up with runaway government. Really fed up.

I think it was very appropos that obama would leave town. He is on the verge of becoming a Humpty Dumpty.

BobF, it really does make me proud I know
what you mean.

Thanks for the news posts of the 9/12 March on the Captitol. I attended, and there were indeed at least 1.5 million people. One of the speakers indicated that there were over 450 buses from various states and at about 1pm, we heard that all the roads leading to D.C. were closed. I never attended such a peaceful event, filled with other angry citizens like myself before. I was proud to be there.
