Anti-Obama Rally in Jerusalem GOOD They Should!

Anti-Obama Rally in Jerusalem

(IsraelNN.com)

For the first time in years, the nationalist camp will hold a large scale rally against United States policies vis-à-vis Israel.

The protest will be held in downtown Jerusalem, on Agron St. on Monday evening, and is being organized by the Residents Committees of Binyamin and Samaria, as well as the nationalist umbrella organization Mateh Maamatz, the Yesha Council of Jewish Communities, and Komemiyut.

Knesset Members and others representing various parties, including the Likud, will speak.

“Not since the days of [U.S. Secretary of State Henry] Kissinger has there been such a protest against American policies,” said MK Yaakov Katz (Ketzaleh), chairman of the National Union party. “The pressure that Barack Hussein Obama is exerting against us to simply stop growing and stop living will not work.”

The Obama administration has made it clear that Israel must stop building of all types throughout Judea and Samaria (Yesha), as well as in parts of Israel’s capital city that were liberated during the Six Day War of 1967.

The slogan for Monday’s demonstration, and the message to Obama and his envoys, is, "Yes to Israeli Independence, No to American Dictates!"

In addition, hints have been dropped that American action against Iran depends on a cessation of Israeli construction in Yesha.

Genesis 12:1-3 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great ; and thou shalt be a blessing:And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed .

God’s blessing upon a people and nation will depend on how they treat Israel. God promised this to Abraham, the Father of the Jews.

Look at history

Alexander the Great, upon being met by a Prophet of Israel and hearing the scriptures when prophesied of him, got off his horse and worshiped the God of Israel. Years later, after Alexander, the Greeks enslaved the Jews. Where is the Greek Empire?

Nebuchadnezzar took the Jews into captivity but recognized the God of Israel and promoted Jews to high positions in his government. Rulers after him enslaved the Jews. Where is the Babylonian Empire?

Pharaoh made Joseph (a Jew) governor over all of Egypt and welcomed the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 400 years later the Jews were enslaved and Moses was sent to lead them out of captivity. Pharaoh’s army drowned in the Red Sea trying to bring the Jews back into slavery. Look at Egypt today.

Rome conquered Israel but allowed them self rule. Rome later sent armies to crush the Jews. Where is the mighty Roman Empire?

You know, there may just be something to that statement “I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee”?

We need to look at our present situation through the long lenses of time and history

Great point Bob and The 1000 year Reich is no more because of the past. All of Europe is suffering and is less than half of what it could be. They are overrun with Moslems and can't get out of their own way.

FROM A NON RELIGIOUS PERSPECTIVE.

Well, I saw the handing over Gaza as a litmus test....and the Palestinians under Hamas have utterly failed that test. If the Gazans had of gotten down to the business of building up their newly acquired land and making peace with Israel, it would have given Israel confidence to strike a similar deal in the West Bank. Hamas's refusal to recognise Israel, coupled with their continued terrorist activity speaks volumes to a very dissolutioned Israeli public. I can't blame Israel for being recalistrant over the West Bank...and neither should Obama. They are terrified that the same senario will happen if they go ahead with a withdrawl in the West Bank. He is placing ALL the onus on Israel and giving Hamas & Hezbollah a pass. Also, Syria & Iran have never made it a secret that their dearest wish is to eradicate Israel.........permanently! In my view, Israel should not budge on the West Bank, the Golan Heights or the Shaba Farms. It's their only buffer in stopping these people from overunning the country....they also know that they cannot rely on America forever. America has her own serious problems. Unless things dramaticlly change, America will no longer be the dominant power on this earth. China is furiously working to fill that position.....God help us.

That ignorant bastard known as obama has made the world much more dangerous by siding with the Palestinians and giving Israel the royal screw. Israel will do what it has to to survive. A bunch of invigorated Palis are going to push the envelope, backed by Syria and Iran and obama. The Israelis are not going down without a fight. Especially with Bibi at the helm.
