Propaganda of Hate from Shepard Smith and Other Lefties After Shooting By a LEFTIE!

Shep Smith attacks right-wing 'crazies'

Rips people questioning eligibility as being 'out there in a scary place'

Fox News anchor Shepard Smith, host of the top-rated evening cable newscast, believes Americans challenging the eligibility of Barack Obama to hold the office of president are "crazies," saying "there is no truth whatsoever" to the suggestion Obama is not a "natural born citizen."

Smith made the remark during analysis of today's shooting at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, where an elderly gunman opened fire with a rifle, killing a security guard before himself being shot. Police were probing an alleged white supremacist, James von Brunn, as the assailant.

During his interview with Heidi Beirich of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Smith said:

"There are these crazies out there who want to pretend [Obama's] not a citizen of the United States, who want to pretend that his religion is something they see as in some way troublesome to them and all of us. And there is a group perpetuating this thought, and there is a culture to which you can attach yourself very easily through the Internet. ... We know it's absolutely – there is no truth whatsoever – zero – to any of those ideas, yet they live within the computer and they fester in people's minds."

Beirich agreed completely with Smith's remarks, as she responded:

"You're hitting the nail on the head about these kinds of crazed conspiracies whether they're about the president, or we're hearing things like FEMA setting up camps to round up Americans and put them in. I'm getting bad sort of deja-vu from the 1990s when anti-government militias were on the rise, when Tim McVeigh committed that [bombing] in Oklahoma City and I really am hoping that we're not going through a repeat of that."

Smith made numerous references to a Department of Homeland Security report warning of potential violence from "right-wing extremists," and said he's been personally disturbed by an increase in e-mail to him from people "who are way out there on a limb ... out there in a scary place."

Ironically, Smith himself allegedly engaged in activity some might deem questionable.

Shepard Smith's 2000 mugshot

As WND previously reported, during the presidential election fiasco in November 2000, Smith was arrested at the Florida Capitol for allegedly driving his Mazda Millenia into another reporter who was standing in a parking space she attempted to save for a friend. The victim, freelance journalist Maureen Walsh of Tallahassee, was hospitalized and released later the same day with bruises on her knees and legs.

According to NewsBlues, a witness to the incident said Smith "intentionally ran into her with his car to try and get her to move from the parking spot. She was thrown onto the hood of the car and ended up on the ground. Smith then parked the car, turned off the engine, turned to the crews assisting the reporter and said "f--- you" and walked into the state capital. Police and paramedics were called."
"When arrested on the street outside the capital, Smith said he couldn't understand why this was happening ... they then handcuffed him."

Smith was charged with a felony the day of the offense, but the charge was later downgraded to a misdemeanor and eventually dropped.

Two hours after Smith's TV remarks about "crazies," his network colleague Glenn Beck said of the shooting in Washington, "This is not the work of right-wing conservatives."
"This guy is a lone gunman nut job," Beck said. "I'm not stirring the pot. I am pointing out that the pot is boiling and there is trouble in America. ... Common sense tells you that there are very hateful people on the right and on the left."

Wild Thing's comment.............

CHRIS MATTHEWS: This is a political action by a far right extremist

ANDERSON COOPER: The rise of hate groups in the United States of right-wing extremists.

KEITH OLBERMANN: Right-wing religious based domestic terrorism.

BROWN: Right-wing extremism.

JOAN WALSH: There is a rising climate of right-wing hate, a lot of it directed at Obama.

Well, who did the shooter in Washington D.C. at the Holocaust Museum hate? He hated both Bushes. He hated neocons. He hated John McCain. He hated Republicans. He hated Jews as well. He believes in an inside job conspiracy of 9/11. This guy is a leftist, if anything. This guy's beliefs, this guy's hate stems from influence that you find on the left, not on the right.

People on the left are the ones that hate the Jews, I have never met a conservative that hated Jews. People on the left are the ones that preach racism such as Rev. Right, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton etc. The left is doing a huge propaganda thing against the Right that is very bad and dangerous too. The way they lie and notice how all those people had the same speel moments after the shooting. And they want us to think they actually are giving the news????? NO WAY it is all about propaganda including Shepard Smith.

I couldn't stand him before this. I avoid his hours on FOX--I switch to FOX Business. My problem with him is simple. He should just read the news. He keeps interjecting his opinions based on his interpretation of facts he obviously knows only from the script that is written for him. So he is wrong wrong wrong much of the time. It's maddening. His inappropriate blurbs about news items he obviously should research a bit before he shoots off his mouth are a real turn off.

Fox needs to get rid of Smith. I watch the NBC Nightly News before I watch Smith.

It amazes me that when someone who hates Jews and Blacks strikes out, they call him a right wing crazy. Wasn't the KKK founded by Democrats? Isn't a former KKK leader a Democrat US Senator? One thing history doesn't teach about the KKK is that about 33% of their victims were White Republicans; they hated Republicans too.

Just elitist arrogance, I think of him as Mr. Ipana (Bucky Beaver )and turn the buffoon off of Fox's CNN segment. It's a toss up but which is more offensive? To watch Obama 'bump his ugly' or see and hear Ol' Shep expose his!!!

Eden, I know exactly how you feel. There
are days I have to force myself to read
articles to see which one to post about
sometimes I think I will burst with anger
or just sit here and stare off out the
window thinking of other things just
to make my heart feel better and not
ache for our country.

Eden it is so good to see you. ((hug))

BobF., I agree sooooo much. He is really
getting worse and worse. When Katrina
happened was when I noticed how very
much Shep Smith really came out as what
he was a real Liberal big time. He has a
lot of anger in him big time.
