Traitor To America Hanoi Kerry Reaching Out To Current Vets

Kerry draws on '71 Vietnam testimony in asking current vets to speak

The Hill

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry (D-Mass.) is drawing on his own background as a Vietnam War protester in inviting veterans of the war in Afghanistan to testify in front of the committee this week.

"One of the lessons that I learned a long time ago and lived out here was that it's important to listen to the troops, it's important to listen to the folks who are implementing these policies and putting their lives at risk," Kerry told National Public Radio in an interview. "And they often have perspective that isn't adequately heard."

Kerry's 1971 testimony, which called for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Vietnam, was controversially used in ads during the 2004 presidential campaign to damage Kerry's efforts.

"So I think it's very important to have that kind of a hearing, and I guess that's sort of one of the lessons from the past, if you will," Kerry added.

Wild Thing's comment.......

Thirty-eight years ago Hanoi Kerry was invited to testify before a committee of Senators . In another time he would have been punished to the max for treason. His words put the lives of our troops that were still in Vietnam in more danger then they already were, and the POW's were treated worse as well after Hanoi Kerry sided with the enemy.

But that still was not enough for someone like Kerry. Nope he had to do more destruction of lives when he joined in 1992 , with another a rino John McCain as they together ran the Senate Select Committee on Prisoners of War and Missing in Action. But NOT to do the right thing. NO, they did this to mess with it and to keep people from talking and to keep information from being shared.

More from some other posts I did:

McCain and Senate Select Committee on POW and MIA

Our Country's POW's and This Presidential Election

Now in 2009 he is asking the current Veterans to speak out like he did, to the same Senate Foreign Relations Committee that he addressed in 1971.

Check out what happened when Kerry's "winter soldiers" were interviewed by military investigators:

Army CID Investigations of VVAW War Crimes Allegations

It's all backtracking, stonewalling, and bullshit. Virtually none of the radical activists produced any evidence to support their atrocity stories.

Lights, camera, Kerry: Senator seeks movie funds

The Hill

Move over Al Gore. John Kerry is getting into the movie business.

Kerry, the Democratic senator from Massachusetts and former presidential nominee, is seeking guidance from the Senate Ethics Committee and the Federal Election Committee about investing in a documentary about soldiers in Iraq.

The movie is to be called "Keeping the Faith."

Kerry, who came to prominence years ago after serving in the Vietnam and criticizing the conflict, was asked to join the project by veterans, said his spokeswoman Whitney Smith.

“Senator Kerry was approached by friends in the veterans community to be part of a project that sheds light on an often overlooked topic, namely the brave men and women who have sustained debilitating injuries in Iraq," Smith said.

But Kerry is proceeding cautiously to make sure he doesn't cross any ethical lines, Smith said.

"As this opportunity emerged, his first step was straight to the ethics committee to see if his participation would violate any regulations," Smith said. "The health and well being of our veterans is a top priority for Senator Kerry, but he plans to wait for a response from ethics before taking on any part of this project.”

His film plans came to light because his campaign lawyers in March sought permission from the Federal Election Commission to tap $300,000 from his Senate campaign for the investment. The request and other documents were released late Friday by the FEC.

Kerry is to help find other investors for the film, which is expected to cost $3 million to $5 million to make. He would be considered an executive producer. The position is unpaid, though documents say that investors, including the campaign, could get a 120 percent return on their investment.

Currently, the filmmakers, White Mountain Films, have no other investors for the film.

Kerry campaign lawyers told the FEC that the campaign will not have any control over development or production of the film, and that the film won't include political advocacy for issues or candidates.

Asked why Kerry wanted to use campaign funds rather than his personal funds, Smith said, "We've made no decisions. We're just exploring an offer."

"Kerry, who came to prominence years ago after serving in the Vietnam"

Just a question what is " the Vietnam" ?????

The Military Times regularly conducts a poll of service members political affiliations. Recent results:

1) 68% McCain, 23% Obama. 80% of black personnel for Obama
2) 69% W. Bush, 16% Kerry.
3) 2004 poll 60% Republicans, 2006 poll 46% Republican.

I would love to have him "reach out" to me.

I would grab him by the lapels, pull him to me, bite out his throat, spit the blood in his face, reach into the hole and grab all his "goodies" and yank them out....then watch his surprised face while he dies.

Oh, how I would LOVE to "meet" with Senator Kerry. We could share our experiences in Viet Nam, compare notes on combat experiences, then, I'd beat his ass like a red-headed step child. I'd mop the floor with his face and kick his ass so high he'd need a stepladder to scratch his butt.

I wouldn't piss on his head if his hair was on fire.

Of course the film will not contain any political advocacy. Left wing anti-war advocacy will be the basic theme of the film.

Kerry is a traitorous ass. When he gets to hell maybe he can apply for another Purple Heart.

He won't reach out to us, but he will try to recruit the Iraq - Afghanistan veterans to his cause.

" Mr. Kerry stated there were “war crimes committed in Southeast Asia...not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-today basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command. They relived the absolute horror of what this country, in a sense, made them do.”Then Mr. Kerry got specific:

“They had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam...we are more guilty than any other body of violations of those Geneva Conventions; in the use of free-fire zones, harassment interdiction fire, search-and-destroy missions, the bombings, the torture of prisoners, all accepted policy by many units in South Vietnam.”
"Mr. Kerry has already confessed his complicity in killing civilians as “accidents of war.”However, he has offered a classic Nuremberg defense that this was not only a commonplace occurrence throughout the Vietnam War, but he was carrying out a policy “with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command.”"

John Kerry, you maligned every honorable Vietnam veteran with the above untrue statement, forever labeling us as butchers in the eyes of the world. That label has haunted all of us all these years in every aspect of our lives.
Yet you give a pass on the atrocities perpetuated against the citizens of the Republic of Vietnam by the North Vietnamese Army and the Viet Cong. Then you committed acts of treason by travelling to Paris to collaborate with the very enemies of the Republic of Vietnam and the United States. Then you and Senator McCain sealed forever the fate of our missing brethren by closing the books on them. You are a despicable quivering mass of flesh unfit to be called a human being or an American.
I have something in my day pack I'd like to share with you, I carried it with me every day of my tour in Vietnam, I want to give it to you personally, then watch your eyes dilate as the iris's relax, indicating that sparkle of life has left your traitorous body.

Thank you for your honorable service Steve Gaston, USMC, Billy Ray, TomR and thank you Chrissie for being there too!!!

Well the Winter Soldier Investigation was a fraud and a scam and the Army found that out real quick. None of those dirtbags would sign or commit in anyway in the investigation to look for the turth in all those allegations: Of torture, mal-treatment, killing innocent civilians.

None of Kerry's Heroes could grow a pair past the point of acusatory statements claiming the inhumane treatment of the poor Dinks...er Vietnamese, Mr. Charles.

Kerry was asked many times to produce his DD-214 and all his web site ever got was piecemeal parts or selected sections.

One thing that was peculiar was his Medals were RE-Issued. Now why would his medals be re-issued, Once Medals are earned they belong to the Man who earned them, forever...Right?

There are two scenarios where Medals would be taken away. One is a Dishonorable Discharge or a Bad Conduct Discharge...

Another point He enlisted in 1964 then got his commision, College Graduate, don't cha know. But his term of service was for 6 years, to my Math he should have been discharged in 1970, However, his 214 said ...1978 Thats 8 years longer than his original enlistment...

Another point, was he putting the shuck on his boyz in the VVAW, when he signed up for another 8 years...

Another point is, On his 214, it says Leutenant an 03, why was he passed over for promotion so many times, because he was a shitbird ?

This man should be in a Federal Prison somewhere making little rocks out of big'uns. This is who the democrats tried to foist off on America for President ?

Maybe he can ask T. Boone Pickens for an advance on his $1,000,000 promised if Kerry could disprove one charge leveled by the Swift Boat Vets, he never did. So I guess that is out.

Kerry is the perfect democrat Scumbag, like Jane Fonda they should have been Hanged together.

We did Nam for the extra pay. $65/month for combat pay and another $65/month for flight pay! Ended up with a nice collection of music albums on open reel tape. Try finding that any more!

Didn't see sKerry anywhere in my flight path... oh yeah, HIS tour was just four months.

I still want a chance to square off with him man to man.

Chrissie, thanks. You have the most well-organized blog. Subject matter, editorials and presentation are awesome!
