FOX News Shepherd Smith Gets Animated
Fox News's Shepard Smith got into a heated debate over interrogation techniques Wednesday with colleagues Trace Gallagher and Judge Andrew Napolitano.
Appearing on FNC's webcast "The Strategy Room," Smith took issue with America using any interrogation method that could be deemed as torture regardless of whether or not it gave results and saved lives.
Wild Thing's comment.........
What a cowardly wuss! Jeez!
I wish people would get this upset when our enemies do things that are really torture.I mean my God what some of our brave warriors have gone thru in captivity.
AUGH, I realize FOX news has to have some that are not conservatives ( sadly that is how it works apparently), but can’t they find one a little more masculine, with a few brain cells??? Shep has always been a bit unstable. he got into a fist fight with a chick over a parking space during the big Florida recount in 2000.

Yes Smith is cowardly. It's idiots like him that I would love to see actually have to be on the front line, putting his life on the line and then say "This is America....We don't torture"!!!
I wonder how he would feel about his comment "We just don't do it" if it was someone he really truly loved that was in jeopardy of being killed and the only way he could save them was to get information from some terrorist. My guess is that then it would be ok.
It is jerks like Smith that place this country in grave danger with their bleeding heart, kum-bay-yah, do-gooder attitudes. Reminds me of the stupid flower children of the 60's!!!!

He is the type that believes himself to be that much better that anyone else. He fancys himself to be above the rest. To hell with the population of a large city that would be threatened by a terrorist attack.
Obviously a man with a lot of insecurities, when it comes to his manhood. He tries to come off as a man loaded with compassion. When his wife is threatened with haveing her head cut off I wonder what old 'shep' would do or even say about it.

Looking at Smith's bio, he spent his whole life in journalism in one form or another. I wonder how he would feel if he had a loved one killed on 9/11?
I also wonder if Smith realizes that every one of those terrorists that went through that enhanced interrogation is alive today and in good health. They’ve suffered no ill effects from the interrogation and required no medical treatment during or after the interrogation.
I wonder if he also knows that every American GI captured by Islamic Terrorists has been brutally murdered to the point that DNA was required to identify them. Our men were so badly mutilated that normal forensic methods couldn't identify them, only DNA could.

BobF makes the point. Our POWs that were captured were all brutally murdered and multilated. We are not fighting cosigners of the Geneva Conventions. We are fighting a barbaric, 7th century, rabid, radically religious foe. Also as BobF notes, none of the prisoners at Gitmo has died. They are all healthier than when captured.
Shepard Smith has never spent time in combat. He has no concept of the neccessity of interrogations to save the lives of your own people.

Last week while listening to Mark Levin, he stated that he was close to outing a loser at FOX but wasn't quite ready yet. My guess it will be Shepard Smith.

Shepard Smith reminds me of the Breck Girl (Edwards) and his theme song. He's just a just a strutting narcissistic peacock.
Like BobF and TomR have stated, there have been no American POW's returned by the Muzzies, none, our troop have found only mutilated bodies or remnants of bodies. Some of us can elaborate on atrocities seen, I'd rather not go there.
This was the treatment of previous POW's by those Communists of the Vietnam War. Currently we are seeing the same atrocities on the Mexican border with the kidnapping, torturing, butchering and mutilation of citizens on both sides, if those actions aren't defined as torture I don't know what is. Yet they are not touted as torture as if it's only an American phenomenon, it's our own media that paints the ugly American picture to the world and not the beneficial and humanitarian efforts of our troops, a colossal disservice.

John, AMEN to all you said.

Mark, that reminds me of Dukakis (spelling)
when he was running for President. He was
asked about defending his wife and home and
he said he would not use a gun even if his
wife might be raped. The media was not a fan
of his so even the leftie media kept mentioning
what he had said. He went downhill fast after

Tom, your so right, I read, I think I posted
it too, that so many of the prisoners don't
want to be releaaed, They like the good they
have it at GITMO.
